The Mildred Eagles easily defeated Rio Vista 56-13 in their first round playoff game in the Classi 2A Division 1 Playoffs.  Listen to the play-by-play with Tim Samuels, Ronnie Greer and Bart Harrison live from West, TX.   Following the game, they spoke with Eagles Head Coach Jeff Callahan and several Eagles players.  Mildred will now face either De Leon or Alvord in the second round.  We'll have the game on the air on 106.9 The Ranch

The Ennis Lions closed out their season with a 42-7 win over Corsicana in the "Battle of I-45."   The Lions finished the year at 4-6 and 3-4 in district play.   This game also marked the final game in the historic career of Lions Head Coach Sam Harrell.  Listen to the play-by-play of the game along with the postgame interview with Coach Harrell and Ronnie Greer.   

The Ennis Lions got their 3rd win of the season Friday night when they defeated Poteet 63-14.  The Lions improved their district record to 2-4 with one game remaining in the regular season.   Ennis will close out the season this Friday(Nov. 8) with their traditional I-45 battle with Corsicana.    106.9 The Ranch will have the pregame show starting at 6:30 followed by kickoff at 7p.

The Ennis Lions got their first district win Friday Night (10/11) against the Greenville Red Lions  at Lion Memorial Stadium.  It was Homeccoming 2024 at Ennis High School.  The Lions improve their season record to 2-4 and will face Terrell on Friday 10/18.   

The Ennis Lions fell to Midlothian Heritage 62-37 Friday night in Midlothian.  The Lions are now 1-4 on the season and 0-2 in district play.   Tim Samuels, Ronnie Greer and Bart Harrison call the play-by-play.    The Lions are off next week and will face Greenville on Oct. 11th.
