Remembering the Holocaust

A special Purim seuda, holiday meal, was held this week at Sheba medical center in Tel HaShomer for some 200 IDF injured soldiers. The event, which included a megillah reading, entertainment and more, was organized by Olamit Wolf, a Tel Aviv-based holistic therapist who has been involved in providing food to soldiers since the beginning of the war. She was involved in organizing similar events over the holiday at Ichilov hospital in Tel Aviv and the Beit Leowenstein Rehabilitation Center. Wolf spoke to KAN's Naomi Segal about initiative.

Bringing Purim to injured soldiers

Jerusalem Design Week is taking place at Hansen House in Jerusalem, June 22-29. The week features works, lectures, cultural events and more – all in keeping with this year's theme: lies and falsehoods. KAN's Naomi Segal heard more from Dr. Jeremy Fogel, a scholar in modern Jewish philosophy, and part of the curating team at Jerusalem Design Week.

"Halasartan" – Stop Cancer – an organization that provides support to young adult cancer patients and survivors, held a special tattoo party in Tel Aviv – bringing top tattoo artists to provide community members with an artistic and personal way to commemorate their journey.
