A new project in Israel started by fashion designers and entrepreneurs is aiming to recycle some of the half a billion tons of annual textile waste in the country. It’s called Refresh Global and is already setting up systems to collect discarded clothes and either recycle them or use the material in other industries. Viktoria Kanar, a fashion entrepreneur and Co founder at Refresh Global told reporter Arieh O’Sullivan that she hopes it will also give women from various sectors of society to participate and make a living from it.
