In a city filled with competing international interests, the Czechs added their names to the list, opening in November a cultural center in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Yemin Moshe. The center's first exhibition "Cross the Line - Czech Glass in Israel" opened this week, and will be on display until the end of February. An homage to the history of bohemian crystal, the show also raises questions about the future of the Czech presence in Jerusalem, and whether Czech diplomats will follow Czech House and move the embassy to the city. KAN's John Colin Marston attended opening night.
