Dozens of religiously observant Jewish women and their families recently participated in a series of photoshoots in the United States and Israel as part of a novel initiative to provide media and organizations with positive images of Orthodox life.  The idea for the Jewish Life Photo Bank, initiated by Chochmat Nashim (Women's Wisdom), an Israeli organization that promotes women's rights in the Orthodox Jewish community, was spurred by censorship and erasure of female faces in many haredi publications.  KAN reporter Naomi Segal heard more about the project from Shoshanna Keats Jaskoll, founder and director of Chochmat Nashim.
