Grant Maher is an indigenous engineer who has just started his own consulting firm. Engineering wasn’t much on the radar growing up and it was a random comment from his father that set him on his path. Grant spoke to Engineering Heroes about the need to bring awareness of engineering as a career path to indigenous communities around Australia. “As my dad always says, you still gotta have that connection to your community, cause that's what we need.”
