Robin and Ron are “WOWWED” by today’s guest.  Hal Huser teaches 5th and 6th grades at Mason Preparatory school - - - in downtown Charleston - - - GO KNIGHTS!

Coming from a family of educators, Hal grew up in church choirs and enjoyed writing creatively.  He taught his stuffed animals as a child, and when he entered college, he felt the calling to be an educator, and boy are we glad he did!

Inspired by Weird Al Yankovic, Hal uses musical satires and parodies to teach events throughout history, making those moments come alive for his students who are entertained while thinking deeply about the people and their experiences throughout history.

History and geography often require memorization, which can be very difficult for some students, but when tied to a familiar song to which Mr. Huser has changed the words?  SO memorable!!!

Differentiated instruction and edutainment are not new concepts, but Mr. Huser takes it to the next level, even creating a dynamic and entertaining Stuffed Animal Theatre. You must listen in to hear about THAT!  Whether you are a parent or a teacher, you will be inspired to make history come alive!
