Robin flies solo today while Ron is traveling, and this show is nothing short of AMAZING!  Carlos Santini is an incredible human being with so much energy and enthusiasm for learning, especially in the afterschool spaces.  He is the CEO of Mizzen Education, a free digital resource hub for K-12 learning experiences.

As CEO of Mizzen Education, Carlos leads and helps grow the Mizzen platform as a key resource in elevating the quality of afterschool programs for young people across the United States. Since 2002, he has worked closely with school districts, foundations, corporations, and local, state and national leaders to expand the scope and improve the quality of afterschool programming for young people.

Santini is the perfect person to lead such an incredible organization!  He immigrated to the U.S. from Honduras at age 7 so he understands what it's like to  feel "different", and he has channelled all his experiences into a successful career with so much passion for education.  He is truly a champion for children with incredible energy.

And humble..."You stand on the shoulders of great!"  That's what Carlos lives by and it shows in everything he touches and everyone with whom he interacts!

According to the Afterschool Alliance, 7.6 million children are alone after school.
