The ENCORE program is 2 hours of classical music… on the lighter side. Favourites and sometimes rarities, famous artists and lots of Australian content.
Selections tend to be no longer than about 12 mins - no room for whole operas of symphonies here. Often the program may have a theme… like “water” or “russian melodies”.
Where possible, we seek interviews with visiting artists and local performers. Each of the 3 presenters has there own favourites and interests and all 3 get together every Christmas for a 3 in 1 Christmas show. It’s a lot of fun!
