This week we are thrilled to welcome the inimitable Nic Naitanui back to Empowering Leaders for this very special episode, recorded LIVE in his beautiful home country of Fiji.

From humble beginnings, to one of Australian football's most celebrated players, Nic’s story is one of resilience, generosity and the power of human connection.

In this conversation, Nic reflects on his upbringing, the sacrifices his mother made for their family, and the experiences that shaped his perspective on life, success and giving back.

He shares the importance of staying connected to his Fijian roots, navigating the transition from elite football into business, and why some of his greatest opportunities have come through the relationships he's built along the way.

Nic also explores what he learned from being part of the Aleda Connect community, the value of surrounding yourself with people from different backgrounds, and why our fundamental need to connect, belong and be part of something bigger is what brings us together.

It's a conversation full of powerful reminders about leadership, family, generosity and what it really means to leave a lasting legacy, on and off the field.
