The WPD is looking to fill their July training class and is reaching out to the city in hopes to uncover people that have ever thought about a career with the WPD.

We had so much fun discussing topics about the WPD and answering some questions all of us may have thought about a one point or the other, like;

Do you really get tased and mased in training class? 

What's it take to ride one of those piolice horses?

Do you get to choose where in the city you patrol?

How long is training?

We welcome back Andy and Tisha of the Women's Network to discuss some positive changes happening within the organization! 

Formally known as "W.I.N" -  The Women’s Network, located in Wichita, Kansas, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization empowering women survivors of domestic violence, women recovering from trauma, and women working for better lives. While others provide crisis care, they offer paths toward financial and emotional independence for long-term transformation and success, including: a domestic violence recovery program, education and employment opportunities, therapy and case management services.
