No child is responsible for rising global temperatures, but they will pay the highest costs. A new exploratory study by UNICEF Malaysia, together with Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and Universiti Malaysia Sabah has revealed crucial interconnections between climate change and environmental degradation and children’s health and wellbeing in Malaysia. We find out more about the findings from Issmail Nnafie, a Programme Specialist for Innovation & Sustainability at UNICEF Malaysia, and Toh Zhee Qi, a youth climate advocate and final year law student, from the University of Malaya.
