Jacquie Hutchings is the co-founder of the reusable takeout container program, Friendlier. Chemical Engineers Jacquie and Kayli wanted to contribute to mitigating climate risk. The two friends launched Friendlier and are helping restaurants around South Western Ontario reduce their packaging waste through their reusable takeout operation. Jacquie joins Earth Care to share how a reusable takeout container program works, and the amount of trash generated from food packaging.
