The relationship between gun owners and the Government is continuing to sour.
A new law passed by Parliament overnight will mean anyone with a serious conviction may be banned from having a gun or being in places where guns are likely to be for ten years.
Council of Licensed Firearms Owners Chairman Michael Dowling says he's concerned about how those places will be defined.
He told Kate Hawkesby gun owners feel they're being ignored during each change to gun law.
Dowling says they've lost trust and confidence in Police and the Government.
