Applications for the FULBRIGHT Foreign Language Teaching Assistant Program have opened up on 5 November and closed on 15 December 2021. Wasanga is joined by Jehan Jones-Radgowski, Acting Public Affairs Officer at the United States Embassy & Consulate in South Africa to talk about the nine-month FLTA Program and the benefit of taking African languages globally.
The Fulbright South Africa FLTA Program is an ECA-funded, non-degree program for early-career teachers to teach isiZulu in an American university for 1 academic year.  Candidates must be home language speakers of isiZulu and proficient in English
