[English] Sara Hyde, a British activist and PhD candidate in criminology, doesn't believe in a world without prisons. But she thinks we need to find alternatives to the current ‘huge and destructive rubbish bins’ in which people are incarcerated. In this interview, she points out the flaws and contradictions of the current penal system, which ‘largely’ serves to criminalise poverty, and outlines a path for its reform.
