Suzanne Radford visits the Etihad Museum with the photographer Ramesh Shukla and his son Neel Shukla from the Four Seasons Ramesh Gallery. Ramesh arrived in the U.A.E. in 1956 armed with a camera and 50 rupees in his pocket. He went on to become the royal photographer for some time and was there to both witness and capture the images during the time of the Union in 1971. He has worked with the royal family as well as capturing many photos of the changing landscape of the emirates. He speaks at length to Suzanne about his time here along with his son who helps him manage their gallery. They take a look at the interactive exhibitions in the museum and talk through the experience of living through the history.
