William founded Dream for America on July 4th, 2023, at just 16 years old, to counter right-wing groups like Turning Point USA. William highlighted the shift of young people to the right, citing a recent Yale poll showing 18- to 21-year-olds favoring Republicans by 12 points. "And that's young women plus-four and young men plus-20something," he told WCPT. 

He emphasized the need for a new strategy focusing on cultural identity and building what he called "a kind of social ecosystem" to attract and engage young people. Dream for America is planning to host its first conference, Democracy Fest 2025, in Washington, D.C.

In addition to her work as a performer and consultant, Patti began advocating for children and families throughout Illinois and helped restore funding for vital support services after massive cuts were made by former Governor Bruce Rauner. In 2020 she ran to be the state representative of the 19th District.  She is now the health care and human services liaison and assistant policy adviser for Illinois Comptroller Susana Mendoza.  Patti lives with her family on the Northwest Side of Chicago and continues to advocate for her community.
