As the BLINK light and art festival fills the streets of Greater Cincinnati, how can a historic house of worship offer a sacred sanctuary of beauty and peace amidst the crowds? On Driving Home the Faith, host Dr. Ken Craycraft speaks with Trevor Kroeger—music director at St. Francis Xavier Church in downtown Cincinnati, conductor, creative producer, and co-president of the Breathe Collective.

Kroeger previews Sanctuary, a 35-minute immersive experience held inside St. Xavier Church during BLINK. Blending stunning lighting design by internationally renowned designer Thomas Hase with choral performances by the professional vocal ensemble The Union, Sanctuary invites festivalgoers to step inside, rest, and experience sacred beauty. Kroeger discusses how this production serves as the official launch of the St. Xavier Church Sacred Arts Fund, highlighting a repertoire that spans classic sacred masterpieces by Anton Bruckner to contemporary works by living composers.
