How can the wisdom of Wendell Berry and a sacramental view of the cosmos transform the way Catholics care for the environment in their own backyards? On Driving Home the Faith, host Dr. Ken Craycraft welcomes back Dr. Matthew Ramage, professor of theology at Benedictine College, to continue their conversation on his book Cosmic Covenant: A Catholic Theology of Creation (Word on Fire Academic).

Dr. Ramage reflects on the profound influence of agrarian author Wendell Berry on Catholic ecological thought, highlighting Berry's insistence on the "sacramental presence" of creation and the necessity of local, practical action over abstract globalism. He also explores the biblical significance of Adam naming the animals in Genesis, explaining how humanity's priestly vocation allows us to contemplate, guard, and elevate the natural world around us, uniting the spiritual and material realms in praise of the Creator.
