Yeah, I'm gonna be honest and uh, he's one of my favorite personalities. He's relentless, he speaks his mind. Uh, he hurts people feelings. Every time we're togethers we're hurting somebody's feelings. Um, your brothers try to count him out. You you people try to to to to They tried to but this mother Virgo Virgo game from he's his his his, He's from q J Queen's Jersey. He's, like I said, he's relentless. Um, everyone, if you know this man, you actually know he's one of the greatest guys are heart. But if you don't know him, Oh, I understand how you think he's I can understand it. Get he's one of my close friends. I love him dearly. He's he's, he's he he's. Like I said, we even took some of his platforms, uh page tactics. Yes, because he knew what this was for a lot of us knew what this was. And I've been damn if we ain't gonna give him his flowers, and we're gonna give him his flowers yesterday, We're gonna give him flowers today, We're gonna give his flowers tomorrow. And in casey I don't know who were talking about, we told about the one and only motherfucker's old that let's give him slower. Let's give a slow right now. I might have to steal this little trick, y'all. Yeah, I ain't gonna lie I stole your trick. I'm gonna be honest. I came into Joe Joe's um a show and they had they had chalkboards. I was so hated. Wait a minute, it was like they had ship written down. Yes, but that's in our mind, we have that, but we have been off some of the guests. You say that sometimes some of the guests get offended when I go like this, They're thinking, I'm um like answering the text, but I'm actually, Hell, you're looking up your note. Yeah, I'm looking up. You gotta stop unlocking your phone. That makes it even worse. Yeah, but it's bad. I mean I look at it like if I'm watching because we watched TV, right, we're consumers. I'll see some money on my TV doing that, or when I was doing it in views, it's a rapper, right, if the nigga in front of me opened up and started doing like a little I'm gonna get tight. Yeah, okay, I'm gonna get But but recently we just this is brand ass, fucking new. Chris Rock, you called Real Smith a bitch. No man, that was nobody here calling you Joe. It was, certainly, but I love the shout out, like, what what do we do? What do we? What do I mean? I don't agree what none he did, but I'm not gonna call another man. I'm not gonna do that. But but Chris Rock said, y'all did that chance y'all as the last platform. No, but I love the way he named it because he put us in the rapper category. But no, we did not call you a bitch. Yeah we did, we did, but fuck we would like to shut up. But Joe, this is a fucking Joe. This is a fucking lifetime rumor. To have memes about it a lifetime rumor in my life at least. Is it true that you asked jay Z to get on pump it Up? He said give me two hundred and fifty thousand, that's the rumor. That's a rumor because I didn't personally ask him. I couldn't. You couldn't. I couldn't personally speak. Did you go through web? Okay, So the rumor is you asked him for two hundred and fifty thousand. No, I asked him for a verse verse and he asked you. But you didn't ask directly. You're saying, yeah, I think he said to Skan, I was outside probably, and then that's like you for people that don't know, it's desert storm. That storm were very powerful guy, Skan Dollar, very powerful dude. U uh on the close right hands man, he was actual shout Skant Skan. So the rumor is because I seemed to mean the other day right there was like, this is how I believe. They credited it to how petty jay Z is. They said, this is how petty jay Z is. They said that jay Z you asked jay Z for a verse. Hove said two fifty. You said, no, you went on the rant. This is what they said you went on. They said, you're classic Joe Button rants and then classic jay Z style. He went and did a freestyle on your beat. No, I didn't. Where could I go on a rant at I don't know. At the time. I didn't go on a rant at the time, I was so young that with your audio, you're good. At the time, I would say, I'm professional. No, at the time, I'm not ran nowhere. I don't even know how to how to receive that. I just know that I don't have two hundred and fifty grand. I think Webb put the battery in my back to let me know. You know you're gonna love him. Do that now, you gotta get the studio right now now, even to this ship. So where'd you get this rumor? From the internet? From the internet, and he knows all parties involved sat here in this see very close and spoken about it. I admire how you get to sit here and bring up when people sit here, you get to bring up all the dirt you ever heard in life about the hear I've just seen this nigga probably talking about twenty years ago and the humorous, nonchalant man, and you know what else, I hate him. I can't you could even ask that when you get to talk about jay Z like that, like you know Tove and you get to say Penny. I tried not to talk about none of them because I don't want the call. No, I ain't gonna litch you. I'm being honest. Getting the jay Z call it is not all cracked up to be yo. Know that ass he will check you like I'm being honest. I'm being honest. If I see the whole call, I don't like really pick up fast. I'm what did I do? You got to prepare yourself? The engineers has what did we say last week? Like we're in the clare what's up? And Yo? The fucking Pallid album had dropped in August? It must have been whenever that Guards did drop her. You know, my co host we all huge Hove hand fans, but my coals is like me before I met him, Like, oh that's jay Z. So we was having an argument on the pod like I don't think that's the best best bird that ever done. Right. Well, I did that part and then went to fucking somewhere for my birthday. I flew to where was I at? Mikonos somewhere I don't even crazy. Yeah, broke niggas here. That's grease. Sh he just named. No, no, no, that's not grease. You're not a part of that game. Who edited that part? No, No, I was too Meconos. That's not grease. That is grea is grease. Okay, gotta continue. But anyway, I gotta text that morning from and I just didn't think it was to wish me happy birthday. Ja. I won't talk about the text, but no, we don't talk. Yeah, yeah, Jay, I don't want nobody to ever text me from the industry. I want to just kind of do my gig and stay in my bubble, right because you know, you know, Joe, that's something that I may about you. Is Me and my one one of my close friends, sonny D, were riding on the car here and he said, one think about Joe. He's not gonna hold his tongue. It's funny. I think I hold my tongue a lot from my outside of looking in shit. But if I really told the truth, they would have they would have killed me, reader because one of these rapping because Serain was he always want to piece some shit up, get out of you. It was so with you on Charlomagne. Nothing. We just hate each other, legitimately hate each other. No, it's not. It's not a real head. So hold on, did he just say nothing? We just hate each other. I thought that was the most craziest. That was the nillest. Shit on you, but not shit on you? World. No, I'm not shitting no nobody because you're independent. Yeah, but I'm partner with. I'm partner with But like you, would you partner? What a title? I would? I had those conversations early. Okay, I had a lot of conversations. Huh um who you had commost with? Excuse me back? I love this energy, y'all. Don't get this word energy. I'm chilling getting Anyboddy nah Joe. So let's just be real good. No, let's be real bro, because let's be real bro. No, let's be real. I'm not gonna lie. Joe, You're monkey foot in the game. You got these motherfuckers. They don't know what to do, and you are with you because you you you in Jersey fly his crib. Look at our ship. We gotta step it up. I like the racket man. When would we gotta we gotta go do his part, Me and you together. Open invite for y'all on the water, Open invite for y'all. Sexy. It's candles burning in my mind. He was wearing a silk outfit back and they smoke outside. It's no smoking and doors. Yeah, Joe, you winning, Thank you man, as are you guys? No, no, no, no, it's about you you. Let's make let's everybody in this place makes the noise for my motherfucking brother, Joe. But this is why I love podcasting a little more than rapping. It's because we could just do this. But really, is we being ourselves? And that's what's the most remarkable thing about your show, your platform. Is you really just being you? I love it. I love it like I kid you not like you could probably watch my ship and I can watch this ship and you'd be like, that's just who he is, and you just be how does it feel to win being yourself? Amazing? It feels amazing when people are shocked that your joke won't give me an album, Like when people are shocked by my resistance to that idea to making music. Yeah, they just don't understand how liberated it feels. I wake up, I go down the street, I talked to my friends, and then I go home. Right twice a week, right, like, really, really sit with that. I've seen Styles just said something recently, or it was reposted that the most freeing thing that he ever did was to get into the juice business because it freedom from the music industry. We all love him. I love that about Styles. He's one of my rapper inspirations, right, like the people older than me, how they got liberated and how they went about it. I'd like to see that. So I'll tell y'all a funny secret. I used to hate Styles. That's a funny secret to me too. He was not a good guy back in the day's. Styles was not a good guy. I went from like like kind of like hating Styles. I would give Styles the keys to my apartment right now, the keys to my COMMU condo keys. I wouldn't go like this. I would throw it without even looking at it. And that's what I'm saying. That's that's that's how the evolution of hip hop is. It's so beautiful to see people grow. It's so beautiful to see Joe buttons coming here. I don't even know what color that is, sir, that is bank that you are looking very fly, voluptuous. Let's make some noise for him looking like Miami. Damnit. It's playing ching loto ching being solo on y'all nigga. So we're gonna I'm supported yeo. You've been in themistus the fire call a lot. You're gonna get us niped? Yeah? Uh? And Joe, you you want some self of water? Ya okay, yeah, get some sels of water, Joe. And let me get one of those red cups too. Where you hiding that man that we have? We have ron Issy here, I saw no no no no no no, no no no no. I posted a picture you saw that I supposed to do that you're not supposed to do about it about violent all around. He tried to put you, to be honest, it's jp for with j J sent me the picture. I was like, I look, fly, that was some real kid ship. But anyway, um, the ogs they sit around and they come with their old their own cup. Is that something that you're involved with bringing your own cup when you go to places. I travel with a coffee cup normally, so it's mind in his cup. Huh, this is when yours? Was it? No? Oh? I thought it was. No. I just asked for a rep cup and they had two of them. Right, So all right, we're leaving the rap game, right, yes, Joe? And how is how is this position in podcast world presented to you? It is someone? It was? There was no position presented to me, so so how how did you discover it? Which? Which are you talking about? Doing this? You're doing podcasting? Yes, he hadn't been doing digital content. Yes, because as long as I can to you, I'm not gonna lie to you long time. But presented to me. Listen to that, no doctor, that sounds like the Luminati campy oh damn? Well yeah, early on because Combat and unpresented a situation before you even knew that there were situations to be presented, and that just wasn't my cup of tea. So yeah, no, I presented into twenty We started in twenty fifteen, twenty fifteen. Yeah, twenty fifteen, February seven with the podcast. I started my podcast February TV first, right, yeah that wait wait, wait, that's two decades ago. You know, I'm thinking that's around us. Yeah, but but I felt like Joe far Apart. No, but I felt like Joe buddon TV felt like starting. Yeah. I guess we're going back to how far you were doing content? Yeah, and y'all are going back to if we're going back to the early days of content. I worked at High ninety seven and oh four. I want to say, remember that in two thousand and ten, I had my own solo show that I was just uploading the iTunes called this is My Fucking Show That was in twenty ten, and that more so it was just like a practice rehearsal and just speaking by yourself and by myself, and it was uploading that. Joe buddon TV we started that, and I started that in two thousand and seven, two thousand and six full o gr here. Uh. That went as long as it point, and that you were monetizing or was it just it was no monetizing in two thousand and seven, there was no monetizing. You had to be down with that came and oh nine, and then when I've seen Missing Foe and low Key and all of them, you had to be down with a gang to get monetization. I forgot. I forgot what the name of the gangs were. Yeah, I thought I was blowing it up. He blowing it up, but I don't mean to. But I mean, once you find out that there's coin to be had and you start to make calls, and you see how protective people were over the different avenues, like because it was limited, yeah, very limited. Uh. And at the time when I started my podcast, like there was nothing to be presented because what was anybody doing? Wasn't Peter Rosenberg at first like trying to um monetize you like he was trying to like he was trying to produce me. But I'm difficult to produce because you you don't only a person who could produce you a producer. Yes, that makes sense. So I'm you know, I'm watching to see what you produce, and if you're not producing, then I can produce that producer. Can we get some switches? Please? I'm not saying that because Rosenberg saw a talent and acted on an idea I believe he was right. I'm yeah, he clearly was right. So I'm not saying he wasn't producing. I'm saying at the time, my idea of producing and his idea of producer may not have been the same. He might not have known how to produce me at that time. But it just it just wasn't there then. It wasn't there, you know, to talk about and shout out to Rosenberg. I never wanted to deny him of the part that he played, the part that anybody played in my journey, my past, my path, my road to today. I don't ever want to discredit or sound like I am. I love that. Let's make some more that I hold hold up because I think it's important to note that you weren't monetizing early on, but you were. You were going hard digit in digital content space. Yeah, it wasn't cool, It wasn't possible. Didn't looked like you knew. It looked like you knew from the outside looking in. I'm sorry, it looked like you knew what you was doing. You did? Did you know I knew what I was doing creatively? Did I ask your creatively only? No? Yeah, And you knew that it was doing something. It was giving you some kind of not return, it was financial return, but there was a return for me, like like for drink Chams. We did XM before the merger and then serious XM for like two or three years. Yeah, I always forget if it's two or three or what. But we did. If someone say, when I say militatement, crazy royal, right, that's what we're talking about. That that we had a whole another show in my studio in South Miami. We had him a whole another show and we made no money off of that. It was a weekly show. We had a DJ a mixed show part of it. And it's and it looked and sounded just like drink Chat. But if you go look at it on YouTube right now, it's drink Chance without same. It's just without drink Chat. So that's why I credit you. You know, I'll talk about you like this when you're not around. I credit you because you said he said to me, we don't have to change nothing, And I was like, if that didn't work, why would we do something that didn't work, And he was like, it's because we didn't see the people, Like he didn't get to the people that they were supposed to work with, and you're right, So at what point did you get to you? It's like fan fuck Rory and mall damn bro because you just cut them off. It was like, let's go. You were just like Joe Button Show. Now it was it was. I was like, thank god, it's not called nor show. What was it? It was? It was called name that podcast. Later than the nigga said Joe Button Show. You gotta know that, But that's not true though, don't care. But I changed the name of the podcast long before, for long before my previous goals left. Okay, like I want to see the name. Damn I don't jesus, it got real. Um. Yeah, when I was trying to figure out, I couldn't get over that fifty thousand hump. And I couldn't figure out why. Like this is twenty fifteen, year one. I remember saying to my coals, Yeah, why can't this thing? My goal for next year is to get this thing over fifty thousand listeners? Is this is ridiculous. But every time you went to search, you couldn't really find much because it was called I don't name this podcast. Later, I tried to do the initials acronyms. I tried everything, but it was like the last thing I wanted thought to do or wanted to do was named my shit the Joe Budden Podcast. Right, But there's an equity that your name carries in this business. So I run into that problem quite a bit. My last album was called Raging the Machine. I did at A rap did the whole thing, A rap music, A rap, A rap did the whole thing. I wanted us to be called a group. I wanted did us to have a group name and put the second album out under that, Yeah, that's what I wanted to do. Joe Rap. Huh like Joe Rap, that's the group something something like that. Um My distributors at the time just didn't see that. Because my name had an equity, there was a value and that. But for a long time I tried not to use the name Joe Budden. It's funny they call me a narcissist. I see how it looked that with him. But but it worked. The second at that we changed it to The Joe Budden Show or the Joe Budden Podcast. You could see the gradual growth from things were easy to track now things were. It helped it helped tremendously. But when it seemed like that might be a problem for my co host, we added their name. We added in it it said the Joe Budden podcast featuring Blink and Blink. Rorry almost said that, so so because this is a famous clip, Um, I want to say, famous clip of a mall right, and he's saying, well, don't talk to me like that. I want respect, I want and and everyone seems the things that that's that's about you. You know this clip that I'm talking about, all right, Well, it's a clip where he goes, um, he goes, uh, well this certain people can't talk to me like this, and I just won't respect, he said. So he said, I don't care about the bag because some of my closest friends are broke, and it's it's all over the internet and everyone always not my internet, not your internet, everybody else in that problem. But um, so, how how how is that because you see these guys, um, you guys make a separation with regardless of what and they go and make this other podcast. Is this something that you're you're giving a blessing to or there's something like when at the time, at the time that all that was going on once were not associated anymore. Everybody's free to do whatever they wanted to do, right right, And it was solely over the name, over the calling it the Joe bunden Pocket. Were talking about two different things. So what was why changed the show? Like why I changed the show? And I'm gonna get to the show now. But um, like, what was what was the was it the nail that broke the back? What? What? What was it? The separation when they when we finally yeah, why why was it? Um? The pub the version that went to the public is that I was stealing, that you were stealing? Yeah, Why did I hear the opposite? Oh? They no, no, no, they thought I was stealing. They said that you were stealing. Yeah, fudging number. Are you so cute that nigga? Oh no no, no, wrong, really no, I'm really sure because what I had heard was what you heard? All right? This is what This is pure industry shit. This is not like not anybody valid, I love. This is what gets black mail podcasters in trouble. That one little let me tell you what I heard. Look, these guys are great, No, no, this is this is to be careful. No, let me overhead back So what I heard was a bag came in. They expected a certain type of bag and they didn't get right. But the reason why I heard that was because it was a week before I believe you criticized Gilly and Wallow are not paying the engineer and as this timelines, I have no idea. So I'm just listening, okay, yeah, yeah no, but that's that's that's what I heard. Is that because me, that's the outside of looking in. I didn't see nothing wrong with you, Warrior, and more I thought y'all was like a great chemistry. Like so, I don't understand where it's any problem that happened. You don't have to ask him. Sure it's not on your behalf. Well, I have nothing negative to say about anybody, Damn, Joe, this is great. Yeah, yeah, listen. I liked that everybody is where they wanted, people doing what they want to do with the people that they want to do it with. Yes, I support that for everybody. So give up for that, give up. Gave it up for Nahna. But you guys gonna be fun. Look, we did not think he's gonna be a polutely correct. Yeah, you gotta rescue if we're coming up on two years. This happened two years ago. I've done I've done the interviews, they've done interviews. Now, everybody's been here. Say there's been, he say, she say there's been. You bump into people at parties, you bump into people at clubs. There's been mutual like this in two years. You just have done it like there is nothing to say about those gentlemen today. I hope they're doing what they want to do, and I hope they're doing it well. God damn, I love I love this. I love this. I wanted something else, but I got what I got and it's here. But this is a famous that's a famous, But you a whole meeting recently, right, I believe it's in a club. I'll forget where it was. Right, And y'all spoke a comedian had did a voice over of y'all conversation, But what was your real conversation? Yeah, that's the version you saw the voice of both the rumor. But let me tell you what, But I saw both the only sources. The comedian voice you don't voice, but the way you're saying that, it's hilarious. I watched Ball, it's interesting, Cooper and that wasn't ship. So what was that conversation, Cooper? What was that conversation? Like you a home seeing each other and just stopping the door. How to with the conversation is supposed to be else? I don't Barbara Walters, shit, I don't know it was. I was. I'm a fan. It wasn't a long it wasn't a long time at the club, okay, because you know why, I'm gonna be honest. That was the time where it was only you, us and wrap Radar. That's it. There was nobody else outside. Now the block is flooded. But that's not a bad thing. It is It isn't man, Yeah, I don't think it. I don't think it's a bad thing either. Stay inside. I think it's dope that we inspire people, whether works or not. As different, I don't want to inspire none of y'all. Stay all asking. And that's what I mean about when I get see. I'm not down with that. That's why that's why I got killed. I'm not down with that. I'm not down with that. Now. I'm glad that so many people have this option. Yeah I am. Okay, So we're gonna act like but the people out there that that try to take advantage of it, or the people that take it for granted. Rather, those are the people that I'm always talking to in terms of failure, because y'all, y'all make it congested. They think it's easy. Yeah, the people that think it's easy, the people that just that make it look bad. You just make it as people out there that make it look bad. Like That's why I joke about that whole black Nail podcaster thing, because the women have ran and with that line, and they're right. Every time some niggas say something stupid, the ladies take it and say, this is why these niggas don't need mics, And I'd be sitting there like they're right, the fuck is this nigga talking about? But that's just somebody who went to radio, shot, bought a mic, got a neighbor that say stupid shit, sad with him. Hey say something stupid here, all right? We out of here, all right? Makes it tough now for the talent or not tough? You see the shot. The shot has a whole thing about this guy starting to podcast from his room and all he's interviewing this is his friends, and it's fucking awesome. But it's it's it's still credit. That's not real. That's a show. Just yeah. Every show that that I cut on is about a podcast then there. Yeah, I love and hate it. Now that's dope. If we inspired it, that's dope. If we influence it, that's dope. Again. Like watching Chris Rock and he's got to mention drink Chad cast come on even though he freestyle that. And I hit Envy and I hit Charlotte Mane. I was like, did y'all call him a bitch? Because I didn't, And Charlot Mane was like, but we love the shot out. I said for show off because we gotta love the shot out. You know the nigga said something fell about m Yeah yeah, yeah, they say something problem. You must have said something foul. What's up with Angela leaving the Bretherst Club? How do you feel about that? I don't you don't you don't wish? I was sure the greatest, Yes, he comes on, this is the Ruined Department. Yeah, I don't. I fuck with Angela. I hope the show wins. I don't have no you just's no celicious tea that just trying. We went viral last Mary you give me to go what that's because you took it upon yourself to say, listen, fu nigga, fuck him, fuck him, him, fuck him. I did the fuck you part of the Joe Budden experience. I did. I said fuck you to everybody that was outside that you could possibly stay too. That's not my forties and fifties. I don't want to design that way. I don't want to live and you're still out here. Yeah, my baby, that's it? What what? Who I need to be with one of the snipers in the game. You're gonna parish. You're the worst right now. Bro. Listen, man, I've been married sixteen years. Man, congratulations, sh I live a boring life, man, I watched Drake. No, you don't watch You do not live a boring I watched French one Town. The greats are you're telling the greats. That's the greatest. He's talk about the greats right now. Great snipers. Man, that'll shoot you from Brooklyn and wind Wood, from Winnenwood. They'll shoot you in bokn Joe and your day. Your jersey is up there. Thank you, man, thank you. I appreciate it. The jerseys so damn you want to give me flowers again right now? No, no, no, and Joe day man, Man your day man. I don't know if your dad has passed or if it's still present, but I'm just being honest. I'm just being honest. Fast it is over. My day is over. You make us proud, man, You made us proud. Made every light skin nigga in here saluted you in a different way when you walk through the door. No, no, no, no, let's name the greatest snipers. Let's leave the greatest snipers, the greatest snipers. Drake number one, hands down, listen. No want to put together your Navy Seal team right now? Or if I if I'm putting the Navy Seal team, break number water. I'm not captain team captain. We are. I'm listening to him. I'm not putting drink number one. No, no, not drinking number one. I mean, is this just a hip hop list? Okay, let's let's go, because I know you got beef, Michael B. Jordan, So I'm not gonna be on your least nigga. Find some beef. I mean, not have people body who beat short he snipe one of your shorties, They seen it. If he did, he might not. I don't know. And you that's what because that comments seemed little personal, which comment Michael B. Jordan seemed like he did something too. Is that just good? But let me ask you, is that if it did come off that way, wouldn't that just be good podcasting? Ye don't know, tremendous? What are you what I'm saying? Of course I don't have the ship back to and I was like, man, Nigga seemed too invested. He seemed to salty. I didn't. Yeah, everybody was going hard. But oh because he said you corny, But Joe, let's be clear, that was corny. All right. Let's seeing as the problem is just not enough niggas keeping it real and entertainment, because it's entertainment. It's entertainment. So you niggas just out of here showing the ass. They want to spoof everything from the nineties except for that energy with niggas kept it real. I'm just saying, what's real? If any one of us double back to this to chick from seventh grade, it's while we up up up, They're gonna call us quantity. Yeah, that's what. It's not deeper than that. But he just he just reminded her. That's a difference you could dis if I'm reminding you at the height of my shit while you down there doing a service at me, I could see my co host doing that exact thing and probably and irning. If Nori did that shit, I would call a no. Alright, I'm gonna be honest, but I don't have a bet for them. And then too many people said that I do. So if I if I come off, if I came off that way, I do want to party. It's a picture on the internet with you and a certain girl with a voice over the internet, with you with the girl, and then him with the girl, and they just running with that. It's like, this is the reason why Joe is mad. I guess because I do seem mad. But I mean, but I seem mad oftening. But that's not real, by the way, Yeah, I think it is. What's hilarious is content creates mad content. Yes, that is the same. Yeah, it's true. It's like, yeah, yeah, holy if he popped on his mind, I don't know about it. I'm not angry at him. I'm not mad at him. So Michael B. Jordan walked through right now, you will give him a pope. Yeah, oh yeah, what's he supposed to do? How long? Because she got real? You went getting real. Yeah, that's the other thing in mount content. Did not get real content. It was about nothing. No, but you looked in the camera. You said, this is why they call you Cory. I ain't gonna lie. He might sting, be honest, might cream, he might cread you. I've been waiting. Hey, let me let y'all know that would be to end up my content days. I'm taking him to the cleaner, Joe. Let me just say I'm suing. Not happening number one. No, No, you rich. You have to be rich, though, you gotta be rich. You're gonna take the because listen, jokes, jokes got your boxes. If you broke, we'll just fight. But if you're rich, I'm one hundred percent soon never parting again. So Chris ro wait for and the Chris ROXI you sing and Chris Roxon's rased. Somebody come on, Michael B. J want to come to you and say the ship, my wife name out your mouth and smack you. You saying I'm suing Michael B. And the Jordan Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, he's serving the papers from I don't know, but I'm talking shit, but it do seem fun to do. Like in the nineties, niggas that you was beating up or getting hit that we're hitting you. They weren't Mike millionaires, so you could that was an option. Still had to just go to school next day. But if but if Michael B. Jordan called you right now said Joe, we got to shoot the film. That's the problem. This nigga's name is too hot. See, that's why you're doing that. Niggas do it and when the name is out, we're doing that. But come on, let's do it, all right. But you know when you say the full name, Michael be Jordan's Michael B. Jordan. Yeah, yeah, And when you try to segue from it, he keep bringing it back. All right, But if he asked you, if he asked you for a fair one, what is Joe Buttons going in the next creed like that at the back. But if you say man, Joe, man me and you don't, I don't know what happens. What did you just say? What you go on the phone like Michael, Joanna want to fight me? But nah, you say no, no, I mean, if you wanted to we could I guess no, because you know you say shit like that. Then them celebrity boxing nigga jo jo jo hear me, I got an opportunity to white. You're not many of them jumping my dealt C like, no, nigga, no not fighting anybody did this? Nigga say cook because that's my man. They look for anybody that they think that there's some something with it's my point. Yeah, you definitely went solo on slaughter House too. As soon as you didn't like eminem deal, he was out. But you clambing, you clambing the We're not going back on your career. We're just going back to rulers. Yeah, I have controversially stuff. I clearly made this up. Everyone struggle this dear question rapped here. But but that too unscared. Let us be clear. You win Royce. At one point it looked like you were Royce sided with each other. And he's a messy nigga. It's a messy ass nigga. Yo. Yeah, he just left. He just left movie trap. He ain't been out, he ain't have president, he ain't have fresh sunlight. But five hours before he gets right, he still smell like listen sun didn't even make it sudden shie point. It looked like it looked like Joel and Royce is in the sunlight and Crooked and Joel. It's kind of like in I don't want to say, you don't say it. Okay, if you don't want to say, I don't want to say. But and I love podcasting, I say, but treme my mic up my. But it looked like that, right, it looked like that, and my level is good? Am I clear about to say something I never said before? I got you? But they looked like that from the outside is looking in from the internet, I don't say, looking at it as his favorite ship too. That's the ship I'm glad you're picking up on all. That's that's what we're great together, you know. That's how the internet took it and didn't. It seemed like Joe Wall and Crooked got together and they made this whole album and um, it's kind of like they were shading you and Roice. I see how one could take it that way. Okay, you at that party asked them about what they were doing. Well, they were just sharing the truth, they said that, so, but but what what the Sloughter House again? Me is an outside of looking in. Come on, give me the blame. I'll take it. I'll take the blame. I ruined, I ruined everything, everything that you love. I've ruined that ship. I believe you. Yeah, I think, I said, I think, I think. I think. We don't even because this again, even that's ten years long of just stories and talking. Hey, I did it. It was huge. I didn't know it was me. It was me? What slaughter house it was me? Yes? That one, Yes, it was me. Okay, I gotta I gotta ask particular it was. Look, because rumor has it One gave y'all a tremendous deal and Shady Records gave y'all a tretendous deal. I won't. I don't. I don't know about what was tremendous and what wasn't. I think E One gave us an opportunity. I think Shady gave us an opportunity. Grateful for both, like which one was more lucrative? Who knows? I don't. I don't think our business was being done the right way anyway at the time, so I couldn't say did you have one manager? No, we hadn't four managers. Four managers that sounds like, I'm that was terrible sound. I did try to bring one person to manage the group's entity at one point and that didn't go well. You know what, I love rumors and I love rumors and voiceovers, and this is a rumor. How you how how many voiceovers are gonna come out? How slaughter House got formed? I believe you did a record towards Royce. Royce did the record towards you, and y'all started to dis records. Yeah, and then Joel came in, and then that is that how it forms? No you conflating things, but it was. But I guess all that's true at different points I did. I did a record that wasn't the friendliest to Royce, but I never put it out because him and I got cool, and then it got leaked, and then he had this. There was something back and forth going on, and we squashed that, and then I reached out for verse because it was squashed and that was a slaughter House track. It was me, Royce, Crook, Joe Hell and No Blessed and the reaction was great, so we just kept it up like it was really a simple that you had to add. In the West Coast, guy. No cricks On was on that song, so we kept everybody from the song except for Nino blessed. Oh no bless ye. Let me shout out to him. Yeah, shout out to ever be up whatever? Another quick another slaughter house, like what you like? Ever like go to Maullible for two weeks. That would be dope just for fans. O just yeah, like, I don't care. I heard, not about fans. I don't care about. I don't care about. It turns the way they could dictate my action, not about like music, take and do something. I don't care about your birthday fans asking no, I'm coming up, coming up. It true the truth that I would be a great look for like the fans, Like I wish I could tell you all that goes into like putting the album out, like I know, all of the blood, sweat, tears, equity, soul searching, reflecting, lonely nights, hungry nights, sleepless nights that go into You've left that completely behind. What I'm saying it again, it certainly is not going to be because the fans. It's because monetarily. It's a reason for it. Not monetarily, Like my son asked, me for I thought that was fly. I didn't do it. Oh shit, stop, what did you just say? I said, my son asked me for a verse and I thought that was fly. I didn't do it, but I considered it. Why didn't you do it? Because even picking up your mom for like three albums now, I don't get a verset, y'all. And that's a joke. He did not just say. I think the album is called Mama's Boys Tattoo. Now, no get WA's he wanted me to intro. That's my baby. Man, I'm joking. I'm talking shit talking. But Joe, let me ask you that question. At you right for the right money? Would you go in and make another out for the right money? So it's not it's not a monetary thing. It's not money like see how I said my son asking me was fly like, so you didn't do it, So that didn't didn't matter. No, But if something is flied, like I'm gonna consider it's not gonna be money to get me to a studio to lay on. It's not gonna money like I have money like Hove call you today and say I want to do pump it up right now? Pumping up again? Again that that would be ridiculous first time you messed up. Can't say no no more, Joe, No, I can't If one of the greatest rappers ever called me, that's all all of them okay, and say yo, let me get a verse. No, I need to go brush up. He call you right now? You didn't catch me. I need to go brush up. That's big, that's whole, that's black thought, that's Royce, that's whoever it is. That's right. You're not just calling me out of bed. Ain't wrote a verse in eight years. So how about call that black? I love called that black? Did he call you, said, Joe, I'm never no, no, no, no, no, no, that's not must No, that's not Where Where did it go from doing your verse? I don't know. I just want to do a cool up must tape? Why so we can go do a record that will fucking get all the streams in the world and then be paid fucking half a penny, half and half and half and half and half a penny for it. No the fuck the niggas. Yes, that part of being liberated is not being trapped in that system. For me, like nigga kickers are wrap, I have to have something that a message that I wanted to say. It has to go back to the root of how hip hop was birth. We had something to say, like and I have something to say. I just don't know how you stopped through the way you're talking about. I was like, you thought what would inspire you? No, I mean, as you age, you think about finality. You want like a public enemy moment type of record. I want a record to hear how this version of Joe Budden would sound, or an EP to hear how this version of Joe Budden would sound right, because I've never heard from him, y'all. They've never heard him. They've heard me when I was using rap to stay alive and survive, and this was just my therapy and my confessional. What the move today is it would be different. It would be my mind is different, mine, everything is. I'm not I'm not gonna lie to you. Bro Um. It's my first time in Miami without smoking a cigarette. Congratulations you want a cigarette? What a bad friend? Oh my bad? I stopped smoking sirett Anna lie It's all right, It's all right, Joe. I'm gonna tell you something. I'm not gonna lie to you. This is Ron honest. When you were doing the mood music and you would go to so Obs and you would sell that shit out, and you would sell it out with no features. You would just come and just talk to the crowd. And I would go there a couple nights and I would sneak in and I would just look because I didn't understand. To me, that's the evolution of us taking control of our own culture because you were independent at that time, correct, and you were doing these moved music Wise move music us move. And then you would go to Sobs and it would be sold out, and I would sit there and I was like, all right, cool, I want to see what this ship because none of this music was on the radio. Oh yeah, No, none of this music was on the radio. So I would sit back and I would be like, this is this. This can't be real. And I would go and I would look and I would be like, wow, I would see how much. I would go right in the back and I would just see you perform records that I've never heard on the radio, Records that I have never heard, but the fans knew every single word. Yeah, I'm gonna be honest with you, face to face, man to man, I can't believe you don't rap no more. I hear that all the time. Though, I'm not gonna lie to you. There's a lot of people who don't wrap no more because the people are not listening to them, so it's convenient for them to say, I don't wrap. You are not that person. No, I think there's a lot of people that either want to hear me wrap or want to tear me down when I start. I think there's a lot. I think there's a lot of those people out there. They want to hear what I have to say or kick my back in as soon as I try to say something. Wow. So there's people out there, but nah, Yeah, it's mastering the pivot. It's what I think you've been able to do. You've been able to Thank God. Thank God, though yeah, thank God. Like if you let the music industry determine your faith, you'll be fucked. You'll be fucked. So thank thank the Lord, Dad, I'm able to do that. Thank the Lord that my fans have traveled with me. So you do care about your fans. Let's because the way you said, I always give about my fans. Yeah, I always get that crucial time he's talking about these are loyal, diehard fans carried on to this day. But by the way, I went, by the way, let me just tell you something, and I never told you this ever. I was also in Boston, Rhode Island, and I'm not snuck into your shows, and I was just sitting there, just walking with the hood of your This is before Instagram, obviously, and I would just look and I was like, Yo, this guy got real loyal fans. So it was it was It was easy for me to see you transitioned to podcasting and seeing your fans following from there to there. But there's a lot of people that that can't do that good and a lot of won't pivot. A lot of people don't pivot. It's very difficult for them to move. But it's definitely it's never just to go back to what he was saying, it's never fuck fuck the fans like that was my response to would you do it for the fan? No, because if you don't know the business, they'll try to get you to do everything for a look or it's a good look or the fans. No, I'm not doing that for that. But as far as the fans, no, No, I've been working with I've been talking to them since two thousand. Directly labeled labels didn't have social media departments when I was doing that, new media departments, they didn't exist. Now, you really got in the comments for everybody doing that. No, I ain't gonna lie to you. What you were doing back then was remarkable. I'm being honest you. And it's gonna sound crazy what I'm about to say, but you set it up for Russ to be who Russ is. I love Russ, love what he's doing, but Russ, if it's crazy to say, to put this to that bridge, that bridge. Joe was the first person I've seen selling independent hard ticket sales without a label. I have never saw that before. And I was, you know, I was. I want to call it purgatory, right, I'm in between heaven and hell, right, but I'm still living. My mortgage is still paid. But I know I gotta do something else. And I'm sitting around and I'm like, all right, cool, because independent. I hated being independent and I've always said it. I'm gonna say it again. Independent is for independent. You can't you can't forget like strange music, which you guys toured with they were doing it. Yeah, even Hiero Glyphiths going backward. First, I was not successful being independent. I do not like it. I do not support it. I do not recommend it. That's just me. That doesn't mean that you can't go independent. As mean you can't go independent as to me my personal experience. So when I'm seeing my friend of mine, this is a friend, this is, this is I got this number, I could call him, but I was just like, I just want to see the real the realness to it. So I was in Rhode Island and you happened to be there, and I was in Boston and I came and I was like, this nigga sold out the SLB's of Rhode Island too. Then he sold out in Bostons of Boston whatever the five hundred cap room was, anywhere in the Northeast. Yes, I'm a legend there. And what's crazy is none of these records are on the radio, So I don't I don't know how, not a one. They would have killed me if I did pump it up in one. I'm saying, um, how to assess this? Because that's my only whole career is my record has to be on the radio. If my records not on the radio, it's not considered a hit. I can't sell out shows. Meanwhile, this is my friend, I'm seeing him, I'm in the state, and he sold out. Not one record was on the radio. Now, wait while that while you're doing that run, are you wishing that you had records on the radio? Are you comfortable that was a trap? The radio records and the co sign that came comes with, and the contract that that comes with, all of that ship for me early on was a myth. I didn't want to be trapping that. I wanted to have a direct line to my fans and my music right Like again in two thousand and one, I was trying to play Today's game then and Kevin Lows looked at me like I was a Martian. Hey, I made this song yesterday on the put this song out tomorrow. Hey my album has been done? Why why is it? Well? It was going on. I just hey, why the commercials say? Why the commercials say my album is coming? Like like you Fat Cavs Kinney scale out of both Yeah, but yeah, yeah, this was fact drug more with Skinnycalf. But I love Fatcalf as well. Yeah. Oh no, Yeah. At the time, he didn't understand that she wasn't with none of that ship I was talking about. Today niggas could do what they want. Yesip record at twelve o'clock twelve yeah one, yeah, No, we didn't have that. You know what, it was the wild wild West back then. We I just realized and Wade and that's the time now of this. That's the birth of the Superstar executive too. Now in two thousand and two thousand and one, that's when that that's when Superstar Nigga. No, not even Leo's the other niggas head graded Kaiser is a superstar. Back is coming to Superstar Now, Bigger is coming, Leo. I'm talking about everybody. Big up Mike Kaiser, that's my brother. That's what I'm saying. I didn't even talk about. But other people. Kaiser is a rock star, but other there's other people that was like, all right, got it. That was the age of oh this budget money is just moving around in this building at the Fantasy League you Kaiser, yeah, rule ye start Yes, the Money League, that's my money league. This Yeah, what is this? Because I feel like making a lot of money. I feel like this is a little but you're making a lot of money. Okay, because I keep seeing y'all forty forty it's you, Mike, Kaiser, jab Rule, g Spend, Spend, Earth, Gotti and Bumby. What does y'all bets start at twenty K I can't say. I can't publicly say it's not my place. By the way, I'm not the commissioner that commissioner of that league there too. Oh no, no, no, but I'm not the commissioner of that league. It's a private secret thing. I can't speak on it. I've been getting crashed. This is at Just know at the end of the year. I have paid every time it's gone for about five six years now. Just so y'all know this is him and he's in the Rumina. Wait what man? I clapping? You believe? I don't believe. Okay, I believe in something that exists, but the way that people think that it is not okay. I don't believe it because I would sacrifice my family members immediately. I agree with that. I think there's a little nan but it's not what people think of it. Yeah, yeah, it is. But and you know what it is. It's the top shelf people and they don't really kind of like want to they were whole, I would think that they want nas. You know about it. Did you see na show recently at the garden as a garden? No, I mean I saw a clipse of the course. I can't lie to you, bro, you know. Um. It's probably one of the hardest phone calls I've ever met made because we had podcasts that day, so I have to text someone say, yo, Bro, I can't make it. And it wasn't him that I was concerned with. It was Jungle because Jungle has been there for me so much. Man, I love Jungle like and Joe said you're not coming and and it was a text, but I heard him yelling like, you're not coming. He didn't. It wasn't all caps or nothing, but it was just like and I was like, damn. And then I seen Nahs give a shout out to his mother who used to work across the street from Madison Square Garden at the post office. And for us living from Queens go into Manhattan, period, you made it. I don't give a fuck. If you can leave Queens and get over that fifty ninth Street bridge, you could get on the R train, You get on the E train and you could get into Manhattan from seventy fourth and Rose or Jackson Heights, and you transfer that train and you get into Manhattan. And when I see Nah say that, it's just like I just I literally cried. I don't. I literally cried, and I'm a bitch has niggas because I should have called him and I should have said this, so the first time you're gonna hear this just here. But I felt him so much because of you know, being a rapper is a very hard job. What do you think it's harder being a rapper being a podcaster? Oh, being a rapper, Yeah, I agree, being a rapper, I don't. I don't even think there's any competition. We were just listening to your song and you were saying, NBA on your song, Okay, never broke again. Now that's a famous rapper who I'm a fan of. I'm kind of scared of him. You me too, But I'm a fan of NBA. Never broke like I don't want to say nothing wrong about him. Why are you saying that he's saying not living like that? No more. Listen, man, he has he has what it is to be a star, one million percent but you had a song saying uh, yeah, did you did you think you him had I was older conversation? No, I don't think. I don't think I'm old anything. Okay, yeah, no, I don't think a conversation. I don't think he owes me anything now because um sometimes that's that that happens, Like you know, young guys, they think that they made up something that's already been made up. Yeah. No, but even with that right, like I got that song, then who made that hook? I forget his name, but these niggas know him. He needed to raid all the popping hooks like I gave that hook was on that beat, Like I wouldn't even take credit for it, but I see, I get it. He might have said something about it before I said, like picked you up. Maybe I don't know. I don't know because you can't blame that doesn't know that period. And then to me, it's just not even in a board. It's like, ok here, I don't care what none of y'all got your name, bro, Like how many records in the nineties that we thought this was purely coming out of these people, like they thought of these rhymes? Like how many records that everyone turn to something that was in the age. Everyone's calling everyone slime. You mean, are you salty about it? Salty? Salty? Yeah, just finding that. No, No, let me just be clear. All right, look, just so y'all know, because I feel terrible that these drinks are still here. So I'm gonna finish them off, all right, But how are you a hater if you at the top of your field. No, it's not a hater. They not really be honest. I'm gonna be honest. The thing about it is, slime was invented. Let me tell you how slim was invented by up to my brother down Lazy wherever you at. I love told this story quite a bit on it. Let me tell it again. You let me tell it again. Down Lazy went and said, down Lazy is the hugest pork eat up I've ever known. He eats the pigs everything. So Dann Leazis came to me and said, Slime, I'm going to the store to get a pepperdine sandwich. Pepperdine sounded like palk to me, I said, Neil. Come to find out pepperdine was a version of turkey. He comes to the studio, I said, oh, let me get a half. This is exactly how slime started. He said, it's a slime mask nigga. He said, Yo, I just asked you, did you want to hear? You said no? And from that version on what we wanted to do. This is what's crazy about slang, because I also invented the word hate, raide and jump off. Look, we'll get to that. This is fucked up about slang. Pepe who use that as a gang terminology. They say, you slim, then you affiliated with a certain gang. Your niggas is bozos. Oh we're paying it. And I'm gonna say this because I'm the person that makes I did not invent the words slime. I did not invent the word slime, but I made it famous. And it was always used to just be slid, you slim, you you you missed your flight, you slime, And it was also kind of to replace the word nigga. So it's kind of like positive that it was kind of it it created to be positive, and now the way they use it, I'm so disgusted because I recently just seemed like two young dudes and they just like, yo, slim, and then I just I've watched them, and I literally wanted to shoot them both. If I was still in that era, I really wanted to be like, why would you? Like? Why would you? And this is something that I'm a part of. It's something that I broke to the game. Uh. I met young thug once in one of his homies. Said he grabbed me and said, this is the big sli. I enjoyed that. Okay, incriminating yourself, cool, come in, that can be fun. Ain't humping out. Actually I've never met anybody else. No, I'm not big, medium or small slime. Yeah, no, I don't know what slime is. The Nickelodeon ship from the ceiling, the green and ship they they can take it, say I took the ship. I don't get it coming out. Everything we're doing quick time, sly are we? We gotta make it quick? All right? Go ahead? Yeah, we don't have to have a lot of time. We don't have a lot of time. We gotta go, Joe, we gotta go nor ate up all the time. Yes, I get me at I'm heading headed to the pool. Yo. And you didn't you you officially let me tell you something. You officially a rapper up and officially an og because when I'm younger than all these niggas. Yeah, yes, yes, yes we are. Um, but we invited you to booby Trap last night, and then we said booby Trap and then um the drink chance. You said I can't do both. I said, that's officially old. I rather check back. And that was. That was after a nap. I just woke up. Its two in the morning. No, no, ready, get here yet, like wait, want, yes, they want at three thirty booby trapps foul y'all. Y'all live different out here in a quick time slid none of the women and booby Trap or find enough for me to leave a bed and get to y'all at three thirty in the morning. At my age, I wake up at four. I beg to different. Joe, you're married, I know you don't, y Yeah, definitely is a club last night. It was like Christmas. Text me about it, and I was the guy with my wife. I was the guy in the club with my wife. I was the guy. I was that nigga. Everybody looking at me like, look at that, y'all. I'm sorry, guys, Yes it was me. What time did y'all leave? I left at six and I still was here and we still can't moved to Miami. I don't condone that. So we got QuickTime the house with time. All right, let's do it, let's go. You know what it is, right, yea, explain the rule. It's when you get anybody in trouble. Yes, all right, two choices like one, we don't drink. Pick two or neither we're drinking. Got it, got it, let's go. It's water anyway. First one is big el or Biggie Biggie Tupac or DMX Tupac. You know I'm reading any of these now, I'm just noticing you. You you're wearing a redd and wing. You ain't got nobody way, We're engaged. We're engaged. We're engaging. Okay, congratulations, congratulations, sip to that you listen. We found out he was engaged through Instagram being the whole group chat. They can't tell nobody nothing. Boris didn't know me. Boris and Charles was talking like what's going on here? Eddie, Giggs and Paul. We say, what the fuck is going on? And kinda got continue you motherfucker's and kinda add ticket on million dollars worth The game of rap Radar if you want to explain any of this, you can which rap braid are I mean, whichever one? Oh, there's two sides. Yeah, they just came back. They just came back. Whatever version you want to add to this equation, I'm gonna say rap braidar because they were first. Okay, they've probably let pave some of the way from them. We love beat Guy and we love Elliott Wilson even though the train. But Elliott with Vicillion Wattle, Yeah, for sure, because you had you. I like, I like the story of each better, so I'll go. I'll go with BMF. I go bm mpre ONYX. That should have been MP or mob D. Yeah, that's what That's what it should have been. Yeah, is HUE before before MP? Like a long way before MP for me? No, Yes, there was no MP when Slam came out. Hardcore came out earlier, hard courts can right, No ninety four, man, if you ride on this, I'm gonna have. How about some hard cores came out and no, you might be right, that's nowhere. No LAM, Yeah, throw your Guns came out first for sure. Well, yeah, ninety two because I remember watching it on jukebox. Joe is really hip hop yo, I know my sho yo ya. That's good. I'm impressed. I thought rich and forgot what throw your Guns in there about how about No Way, No Way that came out in ninety three, Joe was hand bounce. I'm on ninety damn you buddy, fucking one year ship. He'd been being you go to the next one. Fuck your one year memory, man, because I was dead when most of these people debuted. So I mean spinning the records when all these things they know. But hold on, hold on, let me just let me just let me just say, let me just chim in on something. The reason why Joe was winning, and the reason why we win is we were fans. We are Yeah, Like I know all of this. I can tell about this shit like it was yesterday. That's all of this stuff. This stuff is what raised me. That's beauty. Like, I don't just I'm not one of these talking heads. Like I'm not one of these little corny niggas that they found to come. I'm not dumb like I was. I was in this. I like it. Let's go next year. They try a whitewash hip hop and a lot of these niggas play a part. I'm not in that. No, we are not in the Yeah, Let's go yeah man. Charlotta Magne or Academics Podcasts radio podcasts, Loyalty of respects Yo, if I was old, spicy Joe, I would give yo growth maturity if I was I hear the questions. No times. I can hear the voice in my head. Listen get that. Listen by the way, by the way, and listen, listen, listen by the way. As if Ben is asking you to the questions, I can see the vain, I can hear, I can hear it. He answer to avoid I'm taking get out of the shot. Just go taking the shot of the get out of there. Yes, Joe, you have grown, you have grown, So answer the last the last question. Loyalty of respects respect thinking the fucking about? Can some disrespectful niggas loyal get away from me? But yeah, I don't take the respect. I respect that. But you got this one. Hey, that's got a boot in the microphone. Yeah, microphone professional, all right. Because the fans say, the fans say, we never include the women, and the women that we do include, they get mad, I'm gonna put two new ones. How are you gonna blow us something like that. This is for Joe, you know, I'm trying to remember this. Thank you, Laurie Harvey or Larissa Pippin larga Pippan sniper. You had to you had to. Oh that's what you had which one pick? Oh, I'm not picking Lara anything. You picked Lorissa already. No, I didn't, he said Lorissa. I said large. You say who's the better sniper. No, it's no asking me to pick two names. I'm picked a young sister, Okay, Lloyd Harvey, I'm not gonna lie. That's it. You're not gonna lie, don't. I don't look at her like the rest of these hip hop niggas look at her. I don't need she's young, yo. You know that. I can't look at nobody's daughter that I grew up with like that. I know it's weird, and I know she's beautiful, but like Corley Ray, I know your dad, Yeah, I know, I know you. I know your dad, yes, and I don't may not know him, but me and him got the same watching. Yeah it's your dad, Yo. I can't. Well, that's cool because you know she's weird. It's crazy. I'm sorry, it's just that you know holding that you know this week? Yeah, this is a foul Michael, and you know what to be politically correct on you guys, this big platform. I picked both women during Women's History Month. That's right, okay, shot Queen Latifa mclight from Jersey, Queen Latifa from Jersey. But let me just let me just say for women's history. But yeah, both for women's history. But I am from New Jersey, yes, and Jersey is ready. I left. I left school, well, I was dropped out, but when I wasn't, I left school to go over that Flavor Union office. A lot many of days, damn many yo talking about that. How dope was it to see everybody on stage? Oh the day. Let me tell you something. Let me just say, but the streaming is out, but to see Queen Latifa and the whole whole let me tell you something. For years in hip hop, I've always wanted to be invited to certain things. Then I made it to a level where I didn't want to be invited. I just didn't want to say. This was one event that I call, I called Buston. I was like fuck you, and Buston was like what And I was just like, yo, bro, I hate that you was there. That was historic moment, Like that's one of the things that Queen Latifa years, Queen Money Love, Queyne, Dave Chappelle, the Jungle bro King, the Jungle Brothers are dressed ye yo, oh my god, all the dj D Knights, everybody that was told y'all cried earlier, and I've been crying. Lady. I'm forty five years old. I'm a virgo. This is to love. My time for me to share some more nor hate that I have that I've been, that I've been harboring, and I could never get rid of it because it I will. It will always be a fact good. I hate that this nigga was out in the nineties and I was not. I hated it was just like he did people. He was with sessions, he was a part of just in the nineties. I feel like that game in the wrong fucking age of ship. And let me also pick you up for for putting Queen's Flip on. Queen's Flip is probably one of the most entertaining people on the Internet. A lot of people don't understand his humor or understand it, but I do. And you know, I want to also bick up Nicki Minaj real quick because they him Queens Flip, you and me all from era where they keep continuing to say, the Webin Nitty era, and I'm proud. I'm actually proud to be a part of that. So Nikki, Queens, Flip, Joe, Nori, we all affiliated with webin Nitty and you know wherever they at. I see Nicki Minajs post the picture. I don't know if it's an old picture or it's a new picture. And I've seen Queen's flip reposted, so I don't know if it. Like I said, I don't know if it's an old picture a new picture. But you know, Webin Nitty was legends in Queens and said was legends, and I didn't have said that they are legends and Queen's legends all over the world from Atlanta or ever. If you know Reb Ninty, you know that they're good people and I would like to pick them up. Yeah, I would like. Yeah, but that's something that you've been able to accomplish that. I haven't you been able to get Nikki, Lloyd and Cardi right Queen's Yeah, yeah, yeah, I hate on YouTube. I did let me tell you about I don't. I don't. I don't know that I'll get her again, but who Cardie, I don't know if I'll get her again, but I'm not gonna lie to females. Females are, they're tough. I'm not gonna lie. I love them. I love Nikki's man, damn their own probably like grew up with him, like you know, um, he's He's a good dude. I fox to him heavy. But I don't want to lean on that relationship to get Nikki. I don't think I should. I think that I'm more prideful that I loved them, Like I went hung out with them. It was so dope, and me and Cardi recently spoke. But it's like it's like the females are a little bit like I could speak to jay Z like this, I can speak to Nas like this, I can speak the puff like this. I can't speak to Cardi like that. I can't speak to Nikki like and and know that sucks for you and I and us, right, it is also great and part of the beautiful thing about where broadcasting is today that let the girls go sit with whoever they're comfortable with. If Cardi want to sit with Jason Lee, if that's gonna get us the best interview and the best answers, It's still a podcast. Fan. Yes, been awesome, Big up, Jason. I know y'all don't around right, I don't know people. I'm either okay yo. Today I want to use your big platform. Let's think it got me for nobody. I want to right right here, yes, please, right righty here on your massive platform. I want everybody out there to know. I have a beef with no one, even if we've previously beef, Like Jason Lee and I have had words in the past. Charlote man and I have had words in the past. There's some people's names that y'all brought up. I've had words within the bad. Don't have beef with a soul today, and I'm against multi millionaires beef in today. I am like, there's more to do, there's more to do. I wasn't like that when I was outside of the club, But now now that I'm here, I got better ship to do than beat with you niggas over nothing. So yeah, there's no beef for nobody else. Salute. Let's all. Let's let's all of us out there learn how to coexist. The people that's gonna be here for a while, Like, say what you want about Vlad, He's been here for a while, and he's gonna be here for a while. You niggas need to learn how to coexist with people and take advantage of this small window we have to create general racial wealth. It's never been here before. We don't know how long it to be open. Yeah, we don't know how long it to be here. So I will do it. Yeah, we'll take it. You're talking now, you're talking. Yeah, y'all probably got about three more years of this before AI ends all of you out there. Yes, yeah, and shout out to I don't know if it's I'm assuming it's a different series. You're doing the interviews, dope, very different to the show I'm doing called Humans, where I sit down and talk to some people with interesting stories, like like like you interview and the maintenance man or some shit. I would like to if the maintenance man has an interesting story, I want to talk to him. I want to talk to people outside of out of music, Like just like you were scrying on that drink with the whole nine and eleven story. Yeah, yeah, that took a lot of That was a lot. That takes a lot on your soul. It's taxing, right. Spoke to a gentleman name pasqual. I don't want to say his last name incorrectly, but he uh they call him the nine eleven Surfer survived falling twenty two stories when the North Tower collapsed. That's crazy. Tough. That shit is tough to do to go talk to him, Talk to his wife. Crazy, hold on, cry all day? What's crazy? You're backing your phone during m This is a crazy wife. Just sent me. Pressure on yourself, buddy, se me this two days ago. Hold on, let me find it. I wouldn't help my show, would look I recorded in my MDA. All right, y'all got a different energy out of there. Hold on, I got over head, all right, So look this just check, says seven World Trades. Show me something. Okay, he made a connect. He made a connect, seven World accounting. It's nigga money. No that it's only seven dollars but my account. So they couldn't find me. So my last known address was seven World Trains because the account was there, because my account. Did they lose all your papers? Something? Seven dollars, sir? Just that I still want my seven one piece of paper? Yeah, I want my seven seven dollars thirty five cent. Wait, but that can't be your account. There's only one receipt. No, no, that's what I'm saying. They didn't they couldn't find me, so they finally found me and they did it. But the original address was seven World Trade Center. And I remember I remember us filming grimy video on nine ten and I didn't you know, I didn't rap City appearance was one and you picked me up. Yeah, I did that. You picked me up. You didn't tell me he was getting married, but you picked me up on BT. I don't know what courtly, but I just looking at your ring because you know you're only nikt Us wearing the ring. Engaged way more import right now. You're engaged because men don't wear rings until they marriage. You're wearing it now. Cool, you are engaged. Thank yo, Joe Man, I'm not I'm not gonna lie, Joe. I'm really proud of you, Bron and I feel that from you. I believe it, you know why, because you're a great person, you really are. And the thing about us, it's people who's been seasoned. They want us to go. They don't want us wear pink shirts like you wearing right now. They don't want us wearing Cardias shades. They don't want us wearing protects. They don't want this. They want us to go and leave. But I know, God, they gotta get used it. We're not going nowhere. Yes, we ain't gonna I'm not going nowhere. But because you know, I speak about this about you when you're not around, and I want to say it to your face. What you did is remarkable. Stayed in your lane, you did exactly what you're supposed to do, and you said fuck everybody. That's my favorite part of it. That's my favorite part, and that that is remarkable, that is impeccable. It's everything that I want to say, man, because I know how how I know how they want to kick us out when we got our time, after you get your time, they'd be like the fuck up. No, they hate it. I'm still and I can take a sense it when I wake up in the boar. They hate that I'm still here and you're still here. You're still doing it. And like I said to me self advertised, I'm not gonna do it. But like I, like I said earlier, you didn't change you. You you got to where you got being you, and I can't change this nigga for shit. No, Beijean nothing. Yes, try to hit him a watch, he said, nope, try to get my change. He said. No. I like that though, because for what this nigga checks is serious. We all who we are. We are who we are before we get here, absolutely sticking the clotson you. Yeah, we don't need that. Ship. Ain't trying to change you. You know what. It's not easy, but Joe, But Joe, Joe, I really, I really want to give your flowers to your face for real. Think what you do is not easy. It's remarkable. I love how you changing it up. I love even you know, putting Melissa Ford and Queen's flip in there and then having your other boys and not and not disting the past. It's remarkable what you're doing. Um, I don't want to pick it up. It's big it up. I want to So who is the new people that never watched the Joe Button Show? What is the new people that's on the Joe Button Show? Uh? It's still me myself, Parks or long standing parks. Uh. Then we have Ice, a longtime friend of mine. Its longtime friend of mine, Flip who you mentioned earlier, and Melissa Ford who it's Melissa Ford so fun times, good crew, good squad. What made you add because that's something that me and Efin kind of think, Um, who made you add? A female? I've always wanted female. You always wanted to have always wanted female. We love Supercidity, super City, Great boy, I had a podcast, you wanted. I wanted a female when I started. I started with a female. Shout out to me some in this. Okay, Kate Fox too. I love Kate Fox. Wherever you got. Kate Fox when she when she left before my old crew got said I was looking for a female. I was. I've always been looking for a female. So, yeah, you just can't have a room full of See how we got this room right here? Yeah, that's why Jamie is holding it down. Look at all these fucking penises. Yeah, like she said, I don't look in the room and but yeah, like I don't. I don't believe yea, how you can see that this should just be ten penises and yeah, woman around them? Wenna, say what married men do? We're gonna say, some dickheads, We're gonna say something we shouldn't say field something shouldn't they't need a girl saying as because me and married individuals the girls say, hey, you're sure you want to roll with that one, but you know what it is because misment crazy roll radio. I mean, that wasn't really that much different, but we tried. We tried O y'all I was cocking back then, were like, yeah, like trap. It was like trap, Charles is here. I can't lie from Les Charles. You know he's cocking everything. They all went too far. So Joe Man, thank you so much. Thank you. I really understand who you are. I know who your purpose is, and um, I respect it. I saluted, Um, I commended because there's literally no one else in your space. You literally created a space for you and it's open so everyone else can come. And you know after that, but this space that you created is really really really monumental, and um you I really I really enjoy it, you know what I mean. I remember people trying to put us against each other so much, and this is when you had Warrior and Mall. But they didn't understand our history. They didn't understand um because it was kind of like from Queens, Queens and Jersey. Yeah I read Paul them too and hollow cut. Damn. Let's go. Let's take some noise all him. Yeah. Yeah, So I'm gonna take this shot and I'm gonna say, Joe Man, I want you to understand that you are please, I'm sorry, you are appreciated, thank you, you are recognized. You did something that was so crazy in this podcast game. It's legendary, and you continue to do it. And I went and I seeing your set up and I was just like, oh, I came back inspired. No, no, I really did. I really did. At we chalkboards, I'm like, we do what we do, alread this. This is how foul our friends is. We still don't gotta fucking chokboard. But I tried to bite your sh immediately. But listen, guess what you get more mad when you get the chalkboards and then niggas don't read them at all. The man ship on the board. So anyway, but Joe Man, Nah, I'm being honest and listen the same to you. Continue continued, No, no, no, no, it's your day. Continue to renovate the space, innovate the space, continue to inspire. Yes, and we're having fun. We're playing screed. But let me let me let me recognize your protect, your protect. That is a nice protect, thank you. It's a little man. God is good. When I speak about me, I'm only speaking about the work that can be done through the grace of the Lord. So that's all it is. It's like one hundred and forty thousand right there right play putting that money on this on his wrist. Right now, you get a lot of word. And by the way, we wanted to make sure Joe is good. Anything we got you, Joe, No for real, no for real, because I'm an artist, artist meaning we like to take care of artists. That's an artist. I'm thinking about it. When Patty the Bell came here, we had my boy go go, We'll go go out and my boy another one we have bad my boy go go pull up in the Rose voice. And that's what we want to continue to do. It is because we're not just saying this on camera, we're doing it off camera as well. And you're one of them legends that we wanted to take care of. Thank you, and we will. I'm sure you would treat Keith Murray the same way, O Keith marry Yeah, to keep Mary come outside, I just lay no no no, I'm not no, no, no, no, no, You're gonna let keep Mery on your show. No, well, you guys have beef zone. No, it's just he not mentally see. I don't put them like in front of anybody. I mean you could put the money. You don't mean that means I would have to be around it. I don't want to be around it. I want want of y'all to do it so I could hear it. I would like to keep Murray on Real Talk. I hope you do, but not on some fucked up shit like not no train wreck show. We've never done. Keep Murray will be fine. Yes, the dreams gonna be here, I'm asking, Yeah, so let me know when it comes out. You have to keep Murray. Don't make it seem like it ain't's not. It's nothing. But you wouldn't have him on your show? On my show, no, because I don't want to be associated with the things he may have to say, Like I saw that last run. I saw the last run he did. If you you can't come on my show and say those things about people that I know people solely it's because of what he's saying. He can't come on the show or what I've what I've seen, Okay, Like I don't care about people hit me about history interview. Well history, that's different. But when people hit me about like unvery stations and interviews, I normally go to the ones that they've already had, right good and like erb Gardy ier Gardy came on the show, I didn't necessarily agree with nothing here you have Actually you have a line of so you do that a lot. You do that a lot. That might be your thing. I can't. I can't do it. Earb Gardy can't. That's my didn't agree and that's my man. Don't make that ourd thing at all. But you damn whatever you know, but you connected them that and you're sitting here to this, y'all think that's what I'm saying. No, that's why. That's why he said you. But I'm here. Yeah, our thing like Earth. Earth couldn't have came on my couch to say what he had that message. I would have asked. I would have asked it. I would have chopped it. You would have chopped at me, took it out, should have took that out. I'm sorry everybody running the one way to run in I was. I'm not saying you should have like some of them, some of the biggest moments from podcast be moments that niggas maybe should have, but those be the heat. That'd be the heat. Hey, you came here. I got you comfortable enough to say some shit that you wouldn't normally say. That's a talent on my part. So don't call me afterward with hey, chopping, chopping, chopping. No, nigga learn how to do any of you. No. Earth Guardy has not spoken to me since. I don't blame him. I don't blame him one bit. I've been calling him too, like I want to pour. I should call him from here. Just you know, even that moment that you did, who was that with somebody calling future gonna call? Yeah? You are a legend, yo, Yeah I say that day. Wait when you add my fucking arm? Was my man? Is that Jack with the eye and you had him call a future? I got a future to chains to change. Jack Thriller, Hey, Jack Thriller, Yo, you are You've been at this for a long time, yo, So chat out with you. No, no, no, no throwing me a little buzzer, No no, no, I'm just saying shit yeah no oh yeah no, but we asked, We asked, now what she told him out the herb interview, and she said, I won't go dear Good. They have the comedian right want she said, you want to fuck you? You want to move at that up. She said that to Jason Learn. She said, I used to want to fuck him. But he's mean. But he's you. But he's mean. He's mean. Joe, Joe, you do come off as means. A lot of people think you mean. If you are you mean. No, I'm not mean, but I do want people to continue to think that. Right, I don't want to talk to everybody, right, and you you're walking around with no security all I mean, you don't got to put that out there for the world to know. No, listen all yo, if you get set up, no, I'm probably jump I'm protected by higher power. Oh that's what I'm protected by, and it works for me. It works for me, Yo, Joe, one more time, let me tell you, face to face, man to man, we love you, We respect you, thank you, we anna Um, respect your morals, We respect your integrity, respect you staying in zone.
