She wants to getting your back, saying your back. She ain't don't want my love. I guess I gotta move on. Yeah, Yeah, she on my love. I guess I gotta move on. Yeah. Welcome to Drink Champs, the production of the Black Effect and I heart radio and drinks motherfucking podcast. He's a legendary Queen's wrapper. He's agree it's your boy in no r He's a Miami hippop MIONEERUS d J E f N. Together they drink it up with some of the biggest players, I mean in the most professional, unprofessional podcast and your number one sorts for drunk d Year's time for drink Chance trick up mother would it could be hopeing it would? It should be this your boy and O R U, d j e F this melitment you ain't go up more podcast, make something and right now, in case the people don't know who we're talking about, who we're about to interview, who we're in front of, We're in front of one of the most funniest people on the planet, hands down, like it icon. Let's just I was in his first movie, Paper Soldiers. We did not get paid. We got rocketwear. Gil a lot of it, At least I don't remember it was a lot. But the man has went and I went. I looked at his early comedy and from places that he's come to where he at now, there is no one who has ever done this. I went to his show yesterday. He had all of his friends on this show. What they're saying with their own dressing rooms, I don't think me and you got our own dressing room in casey, I don't know who the hell we're talking about. We're talking about the one, the only motherfucker, Kevin Kevi. I gotta tell you straight up down. I thought that was amazing when I came there. You are like the Wu Tang clan, a comedian like you, the Rista, but then you got red and meth and you got ghost face. How the fun? Because I went there yesterday. His boys is his his crew, and they're getting paid. I mean they're they're very much, uh very high. The high reason for the success, um, you know, I mean, my success is their success. Their success is my success. So this group that we put together, man um, we've been touring for over ten years together. I mean, I want to say it could it could even be longer. And uh, we're talking about of course Joey Wells, Nailand, Spank Corps and those are the comics. UM. But then it goes down to a plethora of other individuals, UM that represent the Plastic Cup Boys, which is a name that we gave ourselves and it's all based off of the idea of a real solo cup and what that represents represents a good time. We're a good time, We're good energy all the time. UM, shouts out to Harry Balls, Wayne Spak, name, Joey Kwan John, Um, you know that energy that has provided. But I believe to be the solid circle that we are and that we operating. UM. It helps me operated at the very high level. So I say, I say, I'm very loyal to my guys and then returning loyal to me. Man. But it's a it's a good feeling when you look back and you you look at the thing that you've built and it's not a it's not a youth thing. It's a wee thing. Because let's say, you know, Spake is getting a lot of money. He was just sitting there changes his bandage in front of everybody. I was like, what I was just moving, No, one's not nothing. It's not a lot of money. That's just that's just stupid, stupid, that's very nasty thing I noticed. I know you're getting a lot of money. Many do. I'm not counting your pockets. But I want to be I want to be talking. I want to pick you up, high level of your security. Hat on a Daytona's scared cool. Yeah, listen, I cannot confirm, I can confirm or deny. I want to success. Success is success is whatever you wanted to be. And for the individuals around me, I think there's different layers to it, there's different levels to it, and I think we all share different versions of what we feel our success is. But the biggest win is that we're still together. We don't want to talk about the biggest win. The biggest win is that this tour is still going on. Um, Egos have not fucked us over completely. Um. You know we have. We have not put ourselves in a position where we are our own demands. And that's what happens a lot of time, uh, in this business. I mean, I'll talked about it several times before, especially within our culture. I pride myself on trying to keep this thing that I'm very passionate about together, right, like, let's let's be considered send, let's do the work, let's motivate and inspire one another. And um, to date, we've done that. So we've we've watched each other turned from boys to now men. I mean, you know, we've watched each other have families, kids, wives, like it's we've literally been um, we've all been together that long to see each other. Yeah. So so it's it's bigger than the career. It's bigger than just the moment on stage of the tour. It's family, it's life. We we build something special. Security. Now, you went to Booby Trap and story afterwards. I don't want to book. I was, I don't go out. I don't go out often. So, um, you know, coming to Miami, we haven't been here. I haven't been here for stand up comedy and probably six years I want to say maybe six years. So celebrating, you know, we said, has been a long time, let's all go out. We went the story. After that, we wanted to get back to our roots. You know, we hit we had booby Trap, I fell asleep and the true Kevin Hart fashion boot Trap. I just sat in the badge. Some wake your ass up. That's time ago. Seen in your your special as you said that your boys treat you like weekend. That Bernie, my dudes only do that to meet No, I didn't realize that. I'm how fall of sleep in a heartbeat. But you know what I mean. Look, I work a lot. I fucking work extremely hard, long days. So you know it past a third an hour, I'm definitely gonna I'm getting dozy. And we pushed the limit, and that that's good. I'm no problem with a nap. I think naps necessary at the age forty. Putting the nap in your daily regimen, uh is something that I think you should prioritize. I'm not gonna clown you for taking a nap. I take naps on the daily. Fifteen minute, ten minute increments. Power boost is what I call them. You need doughs. Nothing wrong with doses, nothing wrong with nothing wrong with them. Here with them, holy ship. I'm taking another nap. Finished, So look, so let's let's get to this. My man, James, very great, great guy. Okay, James, my partner. Yes, okay, James, you got to think about it. Yeah, talking you take to kill them? Yes, grand Cormino one corbino. That one that you're looking at that you're holding on, that's uh, that's our first one out the gate. That's a clear reperstado. Would you like pretty good? Well, it is pretty good. I'm here. I made a drink. You know, I didn't drink all day. I knew this ship was coming, so you know, I'm not gonna be a bit I may embrace. I'm embrace the world that you guys have. Uh. You know, I'm trying to get out as I can. But let's keeps we make a laugh. Let me tell you what. Let me just tell you. I was watching you on stage right and I'm telling you, I'm zoomed in and you're so smooth, right you ain't. You ain't sweating at all. You see, I'm looking like he gotta let the pass on. You sweat somewhere somewhere, it's somewhere in this and you didn't sweat. And I'm like, he's really like this good. He really like he really like an avenger. And then at the end of the show, you said I'm gonna take a shot for for for you, Miami took a shot, and you took a shot for somebody else. And then it came this is you know, I am not going to to to hold back here. I have a really good I have a really good product. Man. I don't do anything halfway. So the development of my tequila you're talking about there and a half, the four years of tasting, sending things back, of trips to Mexico, of uh spending ample time and the distillery with the with our team and and you know, people that are basically responsible for bringing us what we feel the best version of our product should be. And I wasn't gonna be satisfied until it was right. And we got it right. We knocked it out the park. And Crystalino. Look for the people that don't know, Crystalino has been around for a long time. It's just never it's never been properly introduced, right like our clach, this is the Crystalino. So Cristalino is a clearly is a clear repistaddo, Right, you basically took the color out of it. Still pisiddo. It's just clear does not have the color um And in that regard, we don't know. It's always been sold at the high shelf. Like people look at this and they think it's a Blanco, it's not a Bronco Crystalino. So I took this as an opportunity to educate the market on not only what the crystalino is, but why it's so special, Why something that's unique, Why something that you should experience, Because being at a high price point, people couldn't enjoy it. So we lowered it. We made this out start off. Uh, and this comes in and I believe fifty nine and fit the nine dollar bottle, and we said let's start here. And then we went to our yeo, and this is our hundred dollar bottom nine and dollars. But you know, the world premium. When he gets better, and I think, uh, everybody's palette deserves a boost, so I gave him a boost with grandcore. Me. No, this is a brain that will be around for quite some time that people are gonna take a li and love to. I promise you. So you want to stop? No, how you start here? All right? Cool? Because I don't want to let me try. This is how you go. There's not no normal ship. You want to see through me. And I also if you guys with my shot glasses, you notice, uh, my bottle, if you notice the shape of my bottle. That's extremely sleek, but it's smooth. Uh, and it's almost a twist. The reason why is because it's representing slope, ski slopes, going down ski slope. It's a very smooth thing to do when you do it correctly. Drinking my tequila should be smooth, should be fun. Hence the glasses mimic it as well. There are all little things, minor details, people, minor details. Okay, Minai, alright, alright, that's what you do. I drink champagne to do the shots. Drink champagne with you. Don't drink champagne. I'm here, I'm even doing it and I'm going to Yes, that's what I got this. Uh, this is a shot to you guys. I'm proud of what you guys have done. An amazing platform, that says man. And it's an honor to be here. Brother. So this one, I'm like, what're you doing? Yes? Uh? Come on, come on that cool? Come on that that's good. Now you got a lie. I don't really like to keep the shot, but good smooth, baby, I'm not good. Let me know your champagne told me. It texts me, It texts you text me. So cat I just watched movie me times. I felt great. Okay, not only the movie is good, but I knew you am Mark Warburg. So I text you'all both and you both hit me back, and I felt great about life. I said, two stars together. But the movie is actually a great movie. Who came up with the script? How does this happen? Me? Time is a special movie because it falls underneath the umbrella of heartbeat. UM. You know, I'm at a unique place in my career now where the movies that I want to do in movies that I developed. That's my production company, Media Companies. Bryan Smiley is our president and head of development. UM. But what we what we do is we look for feel good content. We look for uh, things that people cannot just relate to, um, but they can see themselves in. How do we make? How do we make? How do we make? I p that gives people a moment to either reflect on their life or understand somebody else's position. UH laugh, More important, believe with a message. So John Hamburg, who directed and UH wrote the script. John Hamburg and I we developed this idea over the course of about a year and a half, and we wanted to do a reversal um on the expectation and role of what sometime expected of some women, right like you know, uh if ye woman, if a woman has kids, and you know, there's an expectation that the woman is in the house, the man is working, et cetera. And we said, look, we want to highlight the world of your woman that's embracing the world of business, um, going out in the world, attacking, and she's getting held down at home by man dad bed stay home. That's when the embraces That's what we loved. And you know, we said, look, that's funny, but we also should make sure that we do it correctly, like let's make sure that we give the nod to the woman in the way to deserve it. And that's what the idea was based around. And then the character the man that embraced the world of home, well, we said, let's get our funny off there. He's over the top. He's in he's involved in the kids school, he's a volunteer, but he's excessive with it. He's packing the launches, he's been a pleasant Yeah, he's he's over the top with you. So that's where the Joe came from. And then we said, we want to get him out the environment, put him in a place where he can actually get loose. Hance Mark Wahlberg his character Huck as being old friends and then having to rekindle the relationship of old and get into some kind of conflict of new. The idea was good. Hamburg did a great job right in the script. Netflix loved it and we said let's do it. So, Um, you're now looking at I think, uh, our fourth movie underneath the heart Beat umbrella, and it's growing right our content under Harvey. So right now we have Man for Toronto, Fatherhood, Me Time. Um, those are the movies that Heartbeat has produced. Um, we also have coming out. We have Left, which we also produced, and we're in development now on one more so No, it's called Lift. This one is actually directed by f Carey Gray. So so this movie is this movie is serious, This is my this is my you Turn. We also produced True Story, Didn't So that's another heart Beat production. Like I ain't gonna lie when when I watched True Story, I felt like Resty's NiFe was a foul n in real life, Like I felt like he wasn't acting. I'm sorry, why the are y'a laughing like no one else felt like this. He's a real deal. It's a real deal. So so what do you happened? You call? You said, I got a call the o G. I had an idea. I wanted to do something serious. I said, how do I throw my fan base, uh for loop, you know, just pretty much show that I have this in my bag, Um, just to just to play, like let me, let me, let me play in this space and see what I can come up with. And I was a big fan of Narcos. And I went out and I um, I went out, I got in touch. I got in touch with Eric Eric Newman from he's the producer, showrunner, creator of the World of Narcos. And I said, dude, I want to come to you because I want to do something that basically puts a guy that after you know, that's fine, I don't. I can do this all day. It's my product. I can. I said, I want to do something where I basically put a gun in my hand. If people can't believe it, how do we crack the code on that? And I said, here's a rough idea of what I want to do. Um, what do you think of this? He said, dude, I like the idea of you doing something that's serious. I like the idea of being attached to the reason why people will believe it. He said, give me, give me a couple of weeks to take it, come back at you, and we have something to talk. We have something to talk from. He took my rough idea, came back with a template of what we thought it could be. We built off of that true story became real. We said, who do we want to play the brother? We both said, Wesley Snips, what's the first? First pick? First pick? And here's the thing. When I talked to Wesley Snipes in beginning, Wesley didn't know it was serious. West. He thought it was a comedy. Way to explain to us, Like, no, Wes, he this is not a comedy. This is really like a serious fun I'm not playing first he didn't he didn't know. Like Wesley was like, I don't know if Kevin's going to be able to pull off the world as serious. He said, I don't know. And I said, West, that's a well a working with you, it's dope as fucked because you know, I came up on you. I'm a fan of you. I sin so I would never waste your time. If anything, your talent is going to elevate mine, I said, but I don't. I don't plan to come here and not prepared. I come here to not only do the work, but to fucking make the material that can have people go, oh my god. If I had to sell Wesley on me doing it, and you know he was once he was sold in and brought into the concept, we hit the ground running man and he did exactly what I thought it was gonna do. His acting, elevated mind, way that he the way that he breaks down and seeing the material. I learned so much from working with him, and it, uh, it made me more more polished as an actor. Um, and and more ambitious about doing the thing after, Like I can't wait to do the thing after and Lift is the thing after. True story and serious as well. Serious Yeah, okay, because you did another joint where you was like in that wheelchair right, No, Um, I wasn't in a wheelchair. Yeah, upside that's a Brian Arinston legend. Brian Cranston, uh, the cold kidding and myself. Yeah, that's a hell of a cast to be in. And once again, um, that was one where I had talked to Brian, I'm gonna be serious guys, all right, but it's Kevin really gonna is he really gonna embrace the serious of like he's gonna come in and understand like this has to be a certain way because when you come from the World's Ring the comedy, no Brian Cranston is so you know, with Brian Cranston and The Upside, it was making sure he understood, like, no, I'm gonna knock the roll out the park, but I met with him to direct him Like, granted, already got the part, but you're meeting with your cast before you get into the world of shooting so that they're confident that you're gonna show up every day and not just be prepared, but be good. Um. And that was fucking dope, saying Brian Cranston and the Cold Kidman show for work every day, knowing their lines, prett prepared, breaking down scenes, and I'm sitting right there holding my own. Um, your talent, your talent getts sharpened by other talents, right, you know what, it's iron sharpers. I Uh, it couldn't be more true. I think that's where I've been able to raise my game. Um, throughout the years of doing what it is that I do. It's from positioning myself with people that have not only done it, but they've done it at a very high level. Well, they've always said that comedians could be the best dramatic act absolutely, Like I thought Robin Williams embodied that absolutely, absolutely, because if you didn't take here's the thing, there is an assumption that you can't just based off of the funny things that you've seen them at. It's not based off of them doing something serious and not being good. That really happens when you see the comedic talent that takes that stance. Jim Carrey, when he took that stance, it was fucking insane. Steve Carrell insane, Jamie Five insane. Um. I don't know if you guys are familiar with Chris Robin. When Chris Rock did the play um, Motherfucker and the at he was on Broadway, serious play. Chris Walker was on Broadway for a minute, fucking body that play. Um. I mean, I think New jack City just given the opportunity if you put a comedian in a position to be serious, Chris Tucker dead president, like like what it's you have the tears and the levels because on stage you're going in and out of what you choose to go in and out of. But being funny is harder acting. By the way, trained actors, I mean they're they're unbelievable method actors. Yes, it's like they're unbelievable. You can't. Why not what showing up? My name is Cory, No, your name is Matt. I don't disrespect anybody's process. I don't. I don't think. I don't disrespect anybody's talent, right, whether I agree to your approach of how you do what you do or not. I love the fact that talent is talent and how of a person gets there, they get there. It's im support your process regardless. Those actors that were referring to are fucking phenomenal. Phenomenal. You can't take anything away from people. People don't give comedy enough fucking credit. They don't give the world of comedy enough. Like Eddie Murphy and Nuttie Professor, they didn't give that enough, like they kind of they kind of shoulder shrugged as if that's another actor the Disney role. They give them problems, but it's like it's Eddie acted with Eddie and remembered all of the things that Eddie did as the other people for eight days during the movie. That's not that's not easy. That's a different level of talents. So when you look at Martin Big Mama's, when you look at all these comedians that have taken that stands where you go, Robin Williams and down Fire, you look at all the ship a woman, you can it's the idea of going to the farthest extent to get the laugh, but grounding might approach to doing it well. The business the business shoulder shrugs. Comedy once again because it's like, oh yeah, this comedy. Jim Carrey, me, myself and Irene, what are you talking about? Wife calls me? She said, She said, She said that being married to me is like being I don't know if you watch, don't watch Jim Carrey's performance and me myself and Irene as Hank what Hank comes when he keeps going back and forth. I can go down the line of so many great comedic performances, Uh you know that that are fucking legendary. Ben Stiller and meet the Focker's right, you go to the first one like that idea of this guy that's being bullied by the day, but making that world real it's a fucking task. There's a high level of respect that should be put on comedy in general, like it just makes the world go around. It's necessary, and these comedic actors and actresses are necessary. I think we gotta make some noise for that share. So we recently see you a little duval, A little duval ready? Um, okay, we listally see you a little duval. Right. I don't know what just happened when he just put that the man was in a wheelchair. Yeah, your game with with this? Yeah, don't take a shot. It was for all of mankind. Then he asked you to hit the blunt. You said absolutely, not absolutely, because there's a problem with marijuana. What is what is? What is? What is the relationship with you and marijuana? Okay, well it's easy. Um what's it called? What's the best way to playing this? I'm a brand, I'm I'm a fucking chairman CEO. Medical is medically approved. I do know you know what? You know what. I haven't smoked, and my business partners somehow trust me with all the business that I did. I'm on time, show up in the morning, smell like I do smoke weed. I actually have a good memory. Shouts out to everybody that smokes a lot of delay reactions and those people, a lot of a lot of fucking reactions on those people, I'm not pot what you do once then me you do. I embrace your world. Doesn't mean that I looked down on you. Shouts out to you, but I don't want to smoke it. Now. Here's the thing, dovol, that's my god fucking duval. He got an accident. Hurt my heart to see my guy down, breaks my heart to see down. But because of his relationship and not re our relationship, I'm gonna make sure that his down isn't a bad one. I'm gonna getting back up. So I said, come out to the show. You know why, because he's sitting in his fucking wheelchair and he's just smoking. And I'm like, you can't fucking do that because you're just chilling and the days are gonna fly by. You gotta get your ass up, get out and get active. I'm not saying at all we smokers aren't active, because some of them are. I'm saying that they are. I'm saying for my friends, I don't want to see him just not be active. So he wanted me to smoke weed my way. We're at the arena, I'm about to perform, but I'm going on stage. You don't care about much. You know, you don't want to funk about what I do at all. So you know, for me, it was it was it was a thing to support and show love. But I would never do it. I see, I got all this weed proight. I care great for you guys. If you think I'm gonna smoke some fucking weed on this podcast, you got another look drake kids going, we're blowing all around me. All you want. I'm saying, y'all, just you said, brow it around what you want to come out smoother? Come up environment, come on? Yeah, I mean that's story. Yeah, what's the problem. Why do you even need a device like that? Sweating comes comes right? Damn turn that off. What it's a weed pistol. I don't want to know. It's a weed machine. I don't want to cold it a gun because we werew out of that ship, so it's a weed machine. Why is that necessary? Dispenser? When did you when did you escalate day? What I'm now was that not enough? Why did you go the blend is really pissing me on? You need to we need fucking a machine. G just shooting unnecessary amount of me. And if you got that? Why is he rolling weeds? What is he? What is he doing? Why? I fly him in for peru? Okay, he just flies He just flies in the wrestle. Okay, roll blast like yeah, na like he does a little nacho le blade and then he rolls blinst he goes back the kindle. Yeah. So kevi? What what? What? What is it? What is your favorite? It's stand up or making movies? You had? Nothing will ever be stand up? Excuse me, Nothing will ever beat standard, Nothing beats stand up comedy is That's what I am. It's who I am. That's what That's what made me. That's what created any and every opportunity that I've ever had. It starts with the stage. It starts with that microphone um you get from the crowd in that moment. It's a relationship. I feel like it's like DJ when we as a DJ, we're on stage and it's the energy that they tapped in. You know what it is, man, It's a it's a layered it's the energy. It's the it's the reaction, it's the it's the honesty. Right, Um, you know you've seen my life. You've seen my life grow and go through stand up right, the good, the bad, the ugly. You've seen me in some ways shape or form presented through stand up comedy. And you know that's that's valuable, that's very important. You know, that's my therapy, that's my that's my thing, that's my drug. I need it. And um, the fact that I have a relationship with this fan base that has grown over the course of the years that now is global. Um, it's something that I own. I can do it what I want, I can stop when I want, I can do intimate show. Was like do big shows because that's something that's amazing. I think, uh see, I see cypher Sounds left and I remember me seeing you go to Cypeer Sounds show. I believe it's a comedy seller. Side now has a comedy seller. I started off at Caroline shout out to Side. I didn't see, um, Sie is a great dude, a good dude. But I remember when Site started to embrace comedy while while being in the world of radio, and I started off during the I think it was Carolines where he had a night and they were doing something, and then it progressed, and then as he got more serious with the relationship group and then he was at the comedy seller around the corner. You know what I'm saying. Recently i've seen you. I don't know how we've seen it was, but I know within the last year you just jumped on stage and I'm just sitting there like as a as a as a platinum artist. Sometimes I wouldn't do that, Like I wouldn't go to a show and just jump on But I noticed that about you Chapal's. But that's how comedians work material. That's my point I'm trying to get into, because wouldn't you just do like because I'm all over the place. During during the pandemic, you also had you practice your special. You didn't have peace of though, but you practice special. You gave us all COVID tests. It was real, it was real, it was real. This is you remember you remember you had this ship and you walked around and you asked questions. After this ship you said, you know Norwich, did you like this point? My man was that he was laughing so crazy. You remember that time he was laughing crazy. You had to look at it was so get to my point before you say that. So, why why as a comedian, why would you go put yourself in the public right that when you could do things like what you did with that private session where you can have you your homies and the critique it, why choose to go out there and do that? My process is, uh, my process is extremely different, um, And I'm commit it. I'm committed to this thing that I feel that works right. And the thing that works is the work. In comedy, you can't cheat the work. When you do cheat the work, it's gonna come out of your final products some way. You just gotta you gotta understand it. You gotta really embrace the idea of what makes a set a set? What makes a joker? Joke? Jokes come in threes, There's the beginning, middle, in the end, the same thing with the set beginning, middle, on the end. What's my beginning, what's the middle? And how do I finish? This? Is all things? You have to think, what story am I telling? All these things? The question that you gotta ask yourself before really getting into it. Um, that process, well, it starts at the comedy club. That comedy club sometimes the fifteen people, twenty people, thirty people. By the way, that comedy club is when you started at that comedy club is what you were in that helped you get the break. So if you get the break and got the brakes after and you don't go back to the roots as to how it started, well that means that you're forgetting the real process. So after every stand up special, that material gets thrown out, it's deleted, and I go back to the beginning. So those comedy clubs that you see me go to, those intimate settings is for me to figure out what the funk I wanna do, And those crowds and those reactions are now reactions that helping me gain balanced until I know how I want to stand. So during the pandemic, I kind of think we was all bored, was all in the house, and I was like, damn, man, I can't go on stage. There is no world of working out what can I do? How do I figure it out? And when they said this is when they had first started letting businesses have small um has small things like outside, but nobody can do anything inside. So I had I had a relationship with the hotel, and the hotel was doing like rooftop lunches for twelve people, and I said, look, don't say anything to the twelve people because I don't want to go and act outside the guy lines. But if those twelve people are eating, and I just so happened to walk out and do a set for those twelve people. They never knew it was coming. We're not doing anything wrong. How often can I do that? And they said, you just want to walk out with people promoting? Said absolutely so literally people were, people were eating, and the first started trying to figure out the pandemic. When I was the name of the set was don't what was it? Zero fox zero fox given, So I was like yo, I told my team. I was like, yeah, we're gonna go down here. I'll just come out. This is crazy and I just start working doing material. Uh some of them was working someone it wasn't, but at that point, but the point is to figure it out. So during that time, I think we were in like a six month period maybe letting my family go significantly less. It's probably like a soon I have three month period where I like through that hour set together during the pandemic. I was like just want to give people some ship to fucking watch and do. But but I had to go back to the process. But I didn't get to go to like the small theater, then the five thousand theater, then the big one. Like before a special goes I'm I'm a hundred and eighties shows in I'm I'm. My tours are that long. Like there's a comedy club portion, then there's a small theater portion, then there's a there's a small tear to a lower level arena than there's the actual arenas. I'm That's how many tears I had before I actually put the ship on fucking camera. So I'm never gonna not I'm never gonna not stay true to that process. Uh and my mentors, the the guys that I look up to the most that has stayed consistently relevant in their careers. You talked about Dave Chappelle, Chris rob My Brothers, my friends like my real game, Right, I did know that Dave said it was I've never said that that was Dave on stage, But I gave him a fucking goat because he is a goat and days ago the goat now that goes shipping on stage, the ship when I gave to my stage right here as I gave it to let's dope, don't, I don't. It's gonna be great. Trust me, Chris is gonna be great. But those guys are the process too. To go back to the comedy clubs, it's not it's not a coincidence that the same names in comedy um have been relevant over the course of said years. Right when you look at the guys and and women that you consider the greats, well, they're there for a reason. Right when you think about Wanda Sykes, when you think about Rock Chappelle, when you think about fucking uh, I mean, god damn Seinfeld. But a p. Paul Mooney, I mean, I can go down a list of names the process. They respect the process, they don't cheat the process. And there's a there's a there's a strong amount of comedians that are true that if you say true to that, you're not gonna lose. You're not gonna lose because it's something that we can troll. Once again, that's the best thing about comedy movies. Or second, goddamn, gona pull you another shot. I go, damn you you're doing You're doing so great. I have look well, guess what I think you're gonna say. I'm thinking you'll give all the shots because y'all want to see the breaking point. Y'all want to see I watched there's a breaking point. Fuck it, I'm gonna say that's that's there's a point where you know what, you know what I'm saying, what y'all, I'm this guy. This is not that. This is not that interview. I'm not gonna get a really a point. You know, we really want to get your flowers. Because I'm gonna be honest with you. There's only two people that I actually seen their career, like from the very almost beginning to to to to where they blossomed to and that's you and Fabulous. You know, I got to see you've developed. I got to see you, girl. I gotta see you almost like be a shy comedian. Like when we walk to the set of Paper Soldiers. I remember it was like me, you, Beanie seagull Um, Dame Dash, Smoky Suarez, and I remember it was Smoky who kind of like broke the tension. He was like he was like, damn, everyone over here so so serious. And then I remember the process of you, and remember I threw the gun at you and then and for for you to go from that from from there to me watching your new movie the other day. I can't lie. I was so like, I'm like, that's my nigga, let me in front of you. But I'm like, let me, like I claim you, let me give Nori like like he's only he's giving you the breakdown of it in peace. Right. You gotta remember at that time, we're we're about to do paper Soldiers. For those people watching this that don't know what paper showers is, please educate yourself. It's a hood classic. Shots out to Dame Dads Rocker Fellow at the time for having the idea to do this story. And Dame Dame saw me before Dame saw me performed, and uh, fuck it, I'm gonna saying, let me talk. So Dame saw me performing Carolines, right, um, I have to see me before Caroline's Dame. Go yo, man, you're funny and ship I'm gonna put you in the movie. I've never heard that. I don't know what that means. I'm just whatever that is what it is. Give me a number. You are you coming to the office, all right? Cool? Give him a number? That's somebody that hits me. Later on, Dame, want you to come to the office. Damn. All right, well we're where's the office. Here's the address. Come to office. He wants to meet you. Remember that's when they were in a big building. All right, fuck, do you remember. I'm I'm the kid from Philadelphia. I'm in New York every day. They don't know. I'm getting to New York by Greyhound. I'm getting there by train or Robinson to myself for in the car. But this day he told me, I gotta be there. I gotta meet with him at three. I gotta get there. I come in there. He said, you know we're gonna do the movie. I just wanted to meet. Uh, this will be funny and ship. Here's here's what I'm thinking. He's just just talking. But no, just talking. He actually went and put Charlie Murphy, Uh, rest in peace, Charlie Murphy. Charlie Murphy, I'm telling you it was a funny. Charlie Murpher attached this as well. Charlie Murphy, Um Smokey and the comedian compone campone Smoky myself did. But Dame, it's like Charlie going on, help write it yet Black who's with Rocketfeller was a part of it, and they are these other people in new story and he's like, y'all go, y'all go figure it out, but we gotta get the script where it's supposed to. Shaka was a part of helping us get there. Charlie Murphy when he gets into it, Charlie Murphy is like, y'all gotta come over my house on the way we can write this, So you'll gotta come over my house. So Charlie, this, this is the This is the best Charlie Murphy moment of my life. Charlie Murphys. Charlie Murphy invites us over his house. We're supposed to be writing paper Soldiers, right, We're like going through the script. Charlie's got all these like uh like mannequins downstairs, like with martial arts, like like you know the you know, the rubber like the rubber men, but they stand on So he's got like a bunch of them in basiments. So we down. He was like, what the fun Charlie be doing with these guys. So Charlie's like, yeah, I'll do. We're like, oh, ship, like we never do you did martial arts, So Smoky Smokey challenge Charlie. He's like, get the funk out of here. You don't do the martial arts, he said, motherfucker, what you know I do? So try said, you want to see a tape? Smoking says, yes, I keep in mind. I'm still I'm like, we're in Charlie Murphy's house, we're in New Jersey. Uh. He puts in the tape. He's going to show you all something right now. He pressed play, and we pressed play. This dude kick Charlie in the fucking stomach so hard. They're trying to hold up weight. No, no, no, you remember vhat you can still see. We're just sitting there. So Smoking was like he's kicking your just trying to know I'm not that everyone don't want you to see, trying to like fast forward to this place where he like where he like, you know, do a move when this guy and slim him and he like, see I do do my shop. So we're like quiet and Charlie set the tone from there. He's like, look, your n is gonna come to people, gonna do the work. We're gonna write this ship you're handing in and this motherfucker's gonna make this movie. What you got to do the work. I remember Charlie saying, don't come up and waste my fucking time if you're gonna work. So he was like, all right, what does that mean? Like what he wanted to do. He was like, y'all gonna come up here. Charlie made us come to his house for like four days. Out there we over the course of like over the course of like a month, and we will take like all of it. Work on the script, right, just help them the voices or whatever they gave it. And then Dame was like, we're gonna make the movie. Here's the craziest thing. When we made the movie. The first day. I remember being there, but you still in the process that you're making a movie. And Dave got all of rappers coming in, and these are people I'm looking at, like, oh ship, I'm so starstruck by the moment. So when Nora comes in, Nora's talking about me being like the shell guy. I'm fucking twenty two, and I can't process I'm around. What the funk I'm around? So I remember Dame going one day He's like, yo, man, you gotta be funny. Like, do the ship like you was doing on stage, because you want to do my set, you want me to do it, Just do that, do that ship as we say, all right, and and I remember in the scenes they just started letting me go. Remember I started getting more comfortable and comfortable. And then the movie ended up becoming a big improv fess. Everybody was coming bringing their own ship to the table. So Nori and my scenes got dope as fuck because it was like Nori was like, what who the nigga take this guy? It was like we were all doing crazy ship. They ended up making a movie and the movie fucking becomes a Hood classic. That movie got me my first It gave me my first tape that could be my real I only got my manager because of Paper Soldiers. So so so I per Soldiers do so playing Coming after that Paper Soldiers at the Paper Soldiers, the Big House came. The Big House was my show on ABC. Um it wasn't the one, no no, no, no no no, this was no that that's the Big House, the Big Houses. This is my big break. This was supposed to be the thing to launched me. Um, this is when t G I have Thank God, thank good, This is Friday. I had a show with Keith David Face. I love um wreatha fun. I'm dropping the names Aaron Grady, Vette Brown. Um, you know this was my show. I was starting the show sitcom, starting the show, righting the show. This is it. I made it. Oh my god, I'm about to be rich, mom, I made it. This is it. They picked me up. I mean, this is this is it? The picked me up? Fucking a this is I mean, I'm here, this is the biggest thing ever. Um, we filmed the show. I think life is about to change. And the show gets canceled before it gets on the air of even makes air. Uh, this is ABC. This is where I believe no, no, no, when not saying because you said that, it's wa say. ABC is a valuable party, amazing business. Uh, that's the media outlet. It's the very valuable don't connected tissue. Okay. Um, the show got canceled before it went on and it was crushing, like this was like it was like the most fun up should ever because this is the thing was supposed to launch me. And after they got cancer, I was like, I don't know what I'm gonna do, what's next? And they decided to pick it up like a year later, and they aired six episodes and canceled again. I'm like, all right, well it's gonna be. Was gonna be. Then Soul Plant came, Fuck it, it's on. I got a movie. It's about to be my big fucking break. It's on. This movie is gonna be the biggest movie ever. And then they bootleg the funk out of Soul Plant. Uh well everything everything was supposed to be bootleg was like like that was big, Like that different. That's two different tapes. You're talk about two different tapes. So I don't even want to put those two together. I just great thing about the crazy thing my soul playing is, so playing game Boulet ended up being the best thing for me in my stand up comedy career because between that and Paper Soldiers, people said, oh, I know that guy. Oh that's the guy from SO. When I started doing comedy clubs, That's how I got a fan base, that's how people start coming to them. Yeah, they said, oh my god, that's the guy from So. I only got the comedy clubs in the headlining gigs because of soul playing the Paper Soldiers. But to be honest, everything that was supposed to work in the beginning of my career, um My sitcom, my big first movie, Paper Soldiers. None of those things really took off to where the business level of successful idea and the fire as successful, the hood the streets grabbed onto it and under the ground was like, Okay, this is dope. And I was just able to go and find work based off of that and that alone. But my real big break didn't come to break. Do you think in your opinion, Paper Soldiers is my biggest break? In my opinion, that's the found that the brick, that's the foundation. What was the brick for the roof? So play shows that I can be the lead of a movie even though the movie that yes, even though it didn't work the show, I could be the lead the big the big break. Well yeah, I'm saying, but the studios to the movie, that's the business. I'm gonna say. Photo Virgin Podio version, you're talking big words. Pudio Virgion was huge because that it wasn't written and Judd Apatow is uh. He was the producer director that got me in Judd in a real good space. But after that that the conversation attached to my name changed and little movie started to hack Jamaica. Yeah what for? That's that's what I had on that day. I didn't didn't have. Yeah, that did not have. I showed up that day and I was like, yeah, just go ahead, let's just do something to figure it out. I swore you was gonna be like you. Think like a Man was the biggest, because Thinking like a Man was. After all this stuff happened, Will Packer came. Will Packer found me. This is when I was doing stand up. This when I was torn and Think like a Man was the one where he was like, we want you to do this movie. It's a big cast to run you but it senters around his character and they set me up to win in our cast. I mean, god damn man. That's that's until this day. That's probably the most amazing cast I've ever been a part of. Just from a friend standpoint, uh fund standpoint, this is Gabrielle Union, Regina Hall, think like Anthony, Steve Harves, Book, Um, Terrence j Mike Elie, Jeriffrar Gary Owens. We filmed the first one in I want to say in Yeah, the first one was the person was Los Angeles. Um, but they set me up to win like that cast. That cast was so dope and Magan good, I don't want to leave Megan out, um, and just allowing me to to hit those punch lines, that hit those balls out the park. And when that movie came out, then that's when that's when Hollywood and the other producers really start going, all right, that's going to be the guy. So if you think about it, to think like a man, that's when they started to really roll out right along, right along to the process you're describing almost sounds like the standard process. But in the movie, for him, like starting from a certain level, I'm gonna skip to work, You're never gonna skip to work. I would say. It's, um, I want to address a room a real quick get you. They always say there's only one black man dominate Hollywood at at a time. You believe in that, Um, I think that that narrative has grown because we we doubled down on at the times vote like from a vocal standpoint, right like when what we say it we repeated right like that. That means that your eyes are close because just because the things that you see in front of the camera are vivid to you, it doesn't mean that's the only thing going on. Um, you know, I mean I was working with Will Packer, Tim's Story, myself and Ice Cue. That was four black men, and we were we were operating and managing uh seventy million dollar budget. I think for right along to right along, one was probably like, but you're looking at four black men that sat at the top of said project, right, um my brother Will Packer, who was producing and doing tons of ship at the time. Right, you can. You can ignore it if you want to, but he was doing phenomenal things in the business. You can. You can go to Chadwick Boseman's career early on. You can go to Interess early on. You can go to um you know, I'm talking about f Gary Gray. You can go. There's so many people at the same time that we're doing amazing things. Don Cheeto, Chris Rockingell. Granted, does that mean it's enough. No, doesn't mean that it's enough, doesn't mean that it's equal. But there were multiple people of color breaking ground in different ways. And you know, if we're all trying to get to the place of we do amazing work, we do quality work, we should not only be treated the same but we should be embraced the same, right, that's the conversation. Well, you can't. You can't close your eyes on obvious key moments where you should embrace, right. I mean, that's that's something that I've seen happen a lot by being a guy who's been breaking the ground for quite some time. I mean, you're talking about international comedies. There was a conversation attached to there's no way to commedy travels internationally, especially with a black league. Well I didn't. I didn't double down on it. I just forced studios to allow me the opportunity. And my movies international they're global, right, Like from a box office standpoint they were from a streaming standpoint they are. I had got to the globe. I got to the world when giving the opportunity and and doing that when you pull other people there with you. After is my director and live Packer comes on as a producer, said thing like, you do it in a way to where you're constantly embracing and uplifting and navigating in a way to where you're changing the conversation that you're just getting tired of hearing. So the idea of it can only be one of the time. That's like saying, that's like saying you can only be one headliner or one fucking one great comic touring at the same time. Right now, Chris David, myself on tour at the same time, all our shows are sold out, all of them sold out. Doesn't it doesn't have to be one, right, there's enough out there for everybody. But there's and I talked about it on another podcast that I did. You know, there's this thing within our culture of just we always want to act as if it can be only one, even in the even in the NBA. If you think about it, right, it's who's the greatest great that that conversation should happen, you should. It's a it's a great it's a great competitive thing to speak of and talk about. But if you really want to double down on it, well, the people that are in that conversation are all fucking great. Let's not disrespect one by putting the great or the goat thing just on one. Like, No, it's kind of it's kind of multilayer when you get down to it and you start to break down these resumes of everybody underneath. So from a from a a black man standpoint, the business has changed significantly. UM the opportunities that you see that are being given out. UM two to the world of multicultural right, like there's a significant diversity like UM visual now in Hollywood, like it's it's a priority. People are working on it and they know that they have to check that box. Granted, we're still working towards getting into a space where it's equal, but there has been some growth, there has been some change. So UM, as a guy that's seeing it, as a guy whose company represents it, I'm a part of the conversation of positive on the standpoint, and that's because UM, I know that I'm doing my part and creating opportunities and being uh being an example. I know that Tyliperia is I know. I know that, Like there's so many people that have been but we choose to ignore at our conveyance. Tyliperia has been fucking putting people of color and starring roles in positions for how long now and been killing it too. Because I it took me a long time to realize that a man, man, what are you talking about? People? I wondered why I didn't seen media accept awards. That's how good he did it. T P does not get enough credit. T p TP has driven the economy, uh the students in in the world of entertainment, in Hollywood, studio perspective in Atlanta for so long. He's solely responsible for black jobs. When you talk about transportation, catering, when you talk about crew, when you talk about gaffers, I mean that the whole economy goes around creating. Has made it a priority to embrace an uplift. But I'm thinking the toilet paper when you because he has ship people is the real deal. He's a real deal. But let's give him his flowers, man, because you know, we don't know if you know, but our show was about giving people they flowers. Now now everyone wants to give people they flower but we started this. We invented this because you know what, it'll take nothing away from me to give somebody else that they pressed. And guess what it actually when it comes to you, When it comes to you, can it adds don't want to me because you are those flower hands down, one of the funniest men arguments about you. Everything. I don't care, I don't line, I didn't like you. I didn't like when you went to the clubhouse and you went on and you was like, it was it was a clubhouse. Um yeah, I didn't like this, Um it was a club fuck it. There was a clubhouse, right, this is when clubhouse. I'm not no normal clubhouse, but there's a clubhouse. CUA. It's when we get in the beginning and the beginning time time. We all wanted to just we We didn't want to be old, right, so all of us put one of us, one of Beijing, and we got we went to glead sheet for club I don't have in my mind. So listen, I got a hitcutt and everything. So listen, we really and it was it was, it was, it was a clubhouse whatever. And I was saying, Kevin Hard, it's not funny. I so offended because I feel like you're my friend and I feel like you are one of the funniest mans. And I probably it was just a Hagen room. But then that's what I'm getting on. I get a phone call and then my voice is just texting me like you'll never believe this, and I'm like, what are you talking about? I'm aboutly go on there and just wreck it for you about my career way it just because I'm gonna say some fucked up ship and they're like, you never believe it. I believe what Like Kevin's in there, I'm gonna hold on, Like hold up, there's no way the like Kevin, what then did you go into a room you are? Let me give you another shot only I'll say this right like you, So you can be unbothered for a long time. Right, and even when you're I'm bothered. You don't have to get bothered, but you can get annoyed and just like and like common sense drops right and in this I remember in our group chat, we were talking and we were listening to it and it's just like you know, you're you're hearing people. And by the way, this is the this is the world we live in today. You're you're you're hearing some people speak with such confidence about things that they have no idea about it. Yeah, like you like just talking and it's there's so much passion. Every everybody is everybody has knowledge without having no experience, no understanding. And in this time, I remember we were we were in we were in uh, we were chilling. I was like, fuck it, I'm gonna get on. I want to get on. How does this happen if somebody call you and our group chat a coupleys and no, there's nona suit me up. This is me on my own. I got if anything, they have a complete opposite there that there's don't be a dickhead again there too late, I mean like like this is one of those things. And I remember it got it got debated because I was I was like, um, I was like, do you guys understand, like do you understand how things change and how people change? You know that nothing stays the same. It's up becoming a debate and like in the clubhouse thing, and it was like too late, Like once I realized I shouldn't be having this concept, it's like too late. I mean it now because you know the guys that's in that room, they packed bags the path mark. I mean like even even if they don't like that means nothing to me. I'm not I'm never going to take the shots to the people and look at you and look at me. I have no I have no I have no interest in that. There's there's no win for me. And during that it's more about it's more about like people sometimes have a hard time processing like growth and it's on different tiers, right, Like, some friends can't understand why a friend chooses not to funk with us when we do certain things. They can't understand that that friend made the choice to grow and no longer do said thing because that thing isn't good for me. Some friends go, you're a bit, you're a pussy, and they give you the thing to make you feel bad about You're now new right in life or in any changes, there's a world of negativity that comes to that change sometimes. So what I was trying to explain to people, I was like, Yo, progression means that you change what you change because there's value and reason and why you change. The funny that I used to be may not be the funny that fits my now. My business is what drives a certain thing for me. The business is what I need to grow because the star is already there. I want the business to catch up to the star. So ultimately, your idea of what funny is or the raw edgy road of it, well, it doesn't bring me the same family endorsements that I needed to get to this thing. It doesn't bring me the same perception that I need to make sure these family movies hit it doesn't bring me this wheelhouse of world and wonder to check every box so you don't realize it. But Kevin Hurt has done animation. Kevin Hurts an action comedy, regular comedy, drama, fucking author, He's a radio host. He's just a regular I check every box so that so the only way you check those boxes is by having a high level of authenticity that's attached to the world that those things bring. Right. If you don't do that, then why would you sit and listen to me? Why would you sitting and watch? Why would you want to see if you don't have authenticity attached to things. If you don't believe that I drink the ship, why would you buy it? If you don't believe that it is good by me making you feel that as good because you see me, we're think, then why would you support it? Everything I've done? Why did you take Because I went in there because I wanted to hear. I wanted to really, but but I made the mistake of getting in and then getting into the debate, and by that time it's too late. And by the way, I want to say, clearly, I made the mistake, and I remember after that, I didn't go back like, there's no win for me in this and it without the mistakes. Without the mistakes, well you don't know. You don't know the world of right to wrong. So yeah, it's stupid. Yeah, it's something that I'm not the happiest about that I did. But I never went back after right, so unless it was learning that and just why am I ever going to debate with people about something that they're never going to go ahead? Well, no, no, I can't say that. I can't say that. By the way, I want to see Clubhouse do amazing. Thanks, okay, please, I'm on. That's the only reason why jay Z is on Twitter spaces you see j On a smart man. That's the only time he's a smart man. What do you mean he just told you if he listened to his last song, he's talking to you about the world of sake. He's talking to you about the world of investment in cap tables. His conversation changed. He got some people that looked down on him because this conversations have changed, But his conversations have changed for the better. It's not for the worst. And he's the best champaign in the world. So sometimes listen. Sometimes you either understand that or you don't. I come from a space now where I understand that doors open, and behind those doors or other doors, I'm the guy who wants to keep opening up the doors, and I'm going to be with the people that get him open. That's it. It's simple. You know what it is. People don't seem to understand that number five. I'm on number five and lose It is authenticity, like as we evolved, that is your authentic self as well, and people don't don't ever want understand that. Absolutely, I have no problem with I have no problem with the world of growing because as you grow, that means that the people around you are growing as well. So I believe that your success is best seen through the success of others. So how many people around you successful are successful? How many people around you have different tiers or different levels of success. When there's a high number of that, then that's your win. Yeah, you speak bathroom. Last night he asked me number one and number two't got a dressing room. Is a funny, talented guy. Man, I can't wait for the world to truly get a dose of him. Uh in his entirety. Man, He's he's nowhere near he's all. He's good. He says, he's talk, he's hard, he's he's good. They all are named Joey, all of them, motherfucker's are good. Yes, okay, so now this is now when the Will interview started, this quick time, this is now we want to explain you the rules. It's like Las Vegas. We don't have no no, no clocks around right, okay, Um, so you can pick one or the other, but you politically correct and pick both. You take a shot, but we take a shot with you. We don't leave you out there on your home. So I take one of the other. Means the political answer is a shot. Yeah, it's a shot. But so so you have to go with your heart. This is what you're trying to say. You have to go with you. I'm gonna take a shot. I don't want to. I don't want to time, I don't know what you're gonna pick. So I'm gonna give you the first one. Are you ready, Eddie Murphy take a shot? Yes, Eddie Murphy and Richard prior or you could just take a shot either. Uh. I mean, look, this this goes into what I said earlier with the conversation of goats, right, like one doesn't take away from the other. Right, You're not gonna tell me that Richard is better than Eddie or Eddie is better than Richard. You can't do that because they're they're both fucking great. But no, no, no, I'm gonna give you a good answer. But but I'm going to put Richard before Eddie, not just because he came, not because Jesus, not because not because he's started before Richard was. Richard was ahead of his time, and Richard being ahead of his time, Richard made the world of that that raunchy comedy with truth. He made it normal right like Richard, Richard talking about being on cocaine, Richard talking about right like his true self and and and getting to that that raw place of honesty. You know, my grandmother was a wop, all that all that ship they're like, you know, it was raised. He didn't a way to where people laughed and normalized hearing like hearing that. So for that, I'm gonna say Richard, because Eddie, Eddie came up raw after of course he would, of course he would, Okay, Chris Rock or Martin Lawrence. Chris Rock and Martin Lawrence just take a show no, man, I'm gonna he's not badasses, and I don't have to drink anymore. I'm gonna trying my best to drink. Um man, Okay, Martin Martin is so dope. Because Martin Martin is responsible, I'm gonna have to say Martin, his wife, Martin is responsible for the careers of so many They were able to go on and be headliners and make real money after death chance right, Um, this is not talent answer. In my opinion, I'm putting Martin. I'm putting Martin above Chris because Martin shifted the culture in comedy. Martin and Martin hugged you after def Jam, and Martin put his arm around you after def Jam, and Martin called you back out after deaf Jam. Opportunities came to that person because of that. If Martin said that motherfucker was funny, y'all stopped playing to give it up one of the bad. If he said that, Martin verbalized that, um, it's it's along the same lines of Jimmy Carson back in the day. They said that Jimmy told you to sit on the couch. Oh my god, John, I'm sorry John. If Johnny invited a comic to the couch. That was Martin Lawrence, Martin Lawrence and dev Jam and that wave def Jam was too big for comedy. Martin was too big to comedy. And I don't like he gets talked about enough. I don't feel like people fucking understand how great Martin Lawrence is and was. So I put him. I put him above Chris simply because of that. Um, you know, on a comic basis, how many careers might have been made by that Yeah, on a on a on a on a comedy basis, And we're talking about something different where it was shift to Chris. But if we're going about who I will put, I'm going culture shifting his his world and what he represented for comedy and his prom Martin lash jay z or Nas jay z or Nas. I mean, look, I'm gonna answer these questions. Uh, you're not taking a shot if I don't have to take a shot, because there's no disrespect to the other artists. These are logical answers. I'm still in the clear thinking space, you know why. You know why I'm an there are things space because grand Cormino is not sequilla, that grand core MEMI grand cord means in tequila where you can have all your faculties and enjoy yourself otherwise known as well, you're smart regardless, because people should not refer to themselves as dumb. Yeah, I'm in a good space. I'm gonna say whole for for whole, simply because it's bigger than rapping, and even in even now with it being bigger than rapped and realizing all of these done and all like his level of success, like he's still oh my god, he's still figuring out ways to do shiit uh fucking recreate himself and business that he's still rapping at the high level. Not tonight, not Deniz isn't by the way, not album was amazing. Let's let's get him. Let's make sure we make this very clear, nas, nas, but you cannot fucking shy away from what Hove is now still releasing. Hove is rapping as if he's in his fucking problem at this level. So um, I'm never gonna go against the grain. I mean, any any rap came, any rap conversation that doesn't involve Hove is in a real rap conversation, like he's He's a definition of rap, point blank. That's that's what I'm saying, and I love the story. Are you jumping on the jet and not chipping in? Oh? When I made him pay for the jet? Yeah, I was going to fly him on a plane myself. Call him. He's like, you're go in the game, and said, yeah, you're going. He's like, yeah, said what time are you going? He said twelve? I said I was going too. I'm just gonna fly with you. He's like, yeah, all right, cool, But I'm a pans like I didn't ask you to because I'm just making it clear I'm not just uh, great guy, that's my brother mentor Okay, Yeah, I don't know where're gonna go with this one. Tupaca DMX. It feels like it feels like you should endorse your product right now. Yeah, we should drink a shot. Are you it's already poor? I know that. I'm just trying to think there's no way out of this one. This is one where I'm gonna have to take a shot. I'm gonna have to take a shot on this one. I can make some noise of him taking a shot, the old always gonna see. Yeah, funk, that's a tough one. Ah, let me leave you us over there, Okay, you ready for the next one? Oh yeah, okay, yeah, okay, Marco Warburg or the Rock. I mean, look, I don't know what that like, what does that mean? What does that mean? Like? Whatever it means, whatever it means to you. That's what I'm saying. You're talking like, yeah, it's okay, We're gonna do a little ones. Look at that. That's a little one I'm gonna take you. Just get Mekay alright, take a quick shot for this one. Here's what I'm going to say. No, I don't have to right now. I'm going to say, first of all, both of my brothers like this is like my face change. This is where it's where it comes right now. I can feel it. By the way, great, okay, now this one great. You know I love it. We haven't drink camps in a minute, so we haven't. We have been living on an old episodes. So we are grad to come out of retirement for you. About to get something good in a minute? Okay, about to make that turn. Let me tell you another in later Philadelphia. Meek Mail or Freeway. Uh I think I think both amazing. But I'll say Meek frees my guide too. But Mekas Meka's done a lot more from you know, just from album perspective Album album album. I said album, I'm not once I start full up and I'll leave. I'll go to meet there no shots to free freestyle amazing artists, but I'll say me coming to America or Hallam Knights, Hallam Knights fast. I heard you Who's gonna remake hall Him nice? I wanted to for a long time. Eddie, Eddie is uh Edie with you will be honest with you. Eddie didn't. He liked my dad, but he was like, I'm I'm not he's like me being because my idea was like they have kids. My dad was like, my dad was like those guys from harm Knights kids and it's the younger generation and that that that generation is now and it was an age. He was like, how am I going to play that age difference? Does he think he's still young? You know what I mean? When I pitched the rough idea and concept, it was but it would be harder to pull off. It's basically like, look, it's the idea of the idea of begetting navigating in a generation of let's just say like five six years ago, right and still doing the work that they were doing. That business that is my fia like business, but based off of what I knew my dad did, but the sons of those people. And the only reason why I want to do something like that, it's because I just want something that can get together. You want to get us all. I would love to see you. Mike, absolute duvall. We're gonna do it. Me and Mike, Me and Mike ran a great place. Now, man, it took Me and Mike were real ship going on in between both of y'all. Don't let me. We were can you get me doing no? Me and Mike were heavy on the side. Me and Mike. We we didn't work with each other. We made that decision and um, you know, I think to the credit of both of us, you know, you look up and we realized our age. It's like, look, we this is doing nothing. There's no value in this. If anything, were cheating the world of an opportunity to I only want to get into. It's too much's too it's too much of unnecessary. At one point, no, it's not. It's not rappers, it's it's unnecessary and and and I think the now, no rapper rapper ship is more stupid. Ours. Ours wasn't as stupid, yea, Ours wasn't that stupid, but it just built and grouping that time. But I like the fact that has grown. Man, we figured out a way to talk and we're in a good space. Like, you know, I explained to him, I want to have that thing where we're on screen together, Like why why would we not? Why would you not have that moment? I mean, as much as I've one, or or as much as I'm doing, I've never done that. And I was like, you know, for us to figure out a way to do that, to uh sit at the table and you know, sit his equals and and fucking figure it out would be dope. So you know, look, if there's a world where I can get a Mike of fucking Chris and Dave cat to the table, is sad and Steve like you're the only person that could have played Wesley Snipes character is probably Mike Gaps is a good actor, yeah, all of us. You know what I'm saying that the way he acts like he you know, cocaine, I've never he got it down fast. I've never I'll say this, all of our problems I've never shipped on his talent. Mike is a is a funny guy. Mike is a talented actor, Like he's amazing talent. So you know, for us now to be in a good space, Um, I think it's dope as fun and we will we will do something. But I love I love that. You know, I'm a man of piece. Okay, Friday or half Bacon, Uh Friday, Friday halt bag is great. Friday's um a bigger culture driver, you know, Friday's a and Friday also put once again, I go to the world of amplification and put so many people on. You know, when you look at Chris Tucker, when you look at John Witherspoon, when you look at some more Mike Ebs, we look at Don D. C Cary, we look at Bruce Bruce, Ricky Smiley. Um, you know these are all names. Ronaldo Ray r P. I mean, there's are so many names. Ice Cu shouts out to ice Cu. GENERALQ was a guy who not only loves comedy, but he's been a he's been an advocate for you know, the world of career. He's he's provided a platform to where comedy careers could go on the progress and once again, when you talk about comedy, these conversations get lost. They don't. People don't highlight it as much as they should. Like when you think about the ones that are at the helm, the Martin side of it, all of those names, all those deaf jam names that were big, they came from that hug. But then after that, then Iceque was like, oh shoot, I saw him here, come to do these things. It's like it was like a passing of a time. So so a lot of careers came from like you know this, this street, the street where I'm a fan of you. I'm a fan of you. Oh fuck Martin, love h q Q love Martin. I'm watching you men do as dope. I'm trying to do this ship, the ship that I did. All he did was take He took the thing and the work. Look at house party, look at all these other things that was kid who play developing this movie. But look at the people around that were in that movie. Like if you go back and look at these times, yo yo, house party, man a house party, they already are doing one. Yeah uh spring him lebron, lebron, all right, shout out of spring Hill too, doing amazing things. Another black owned company. Uh, driving the narrative and media and media changing change media now something media. But they're doing They're doing great ship man, m amazing production, amazing IP development, and it's great to see so Rocky or Creed Creed h I say Creed because Rocky Rocky was amazing, still is amazing. Syvester Sloan is who the funk he is. But where he really becomes a genius is to come back and fucking fifteen years however long it was, and make that I P relevant again. He came back and say, yeah, I don't want to do nothing else, but I did the Rocky, but Rocky this time it's gonna be about creed Son. He stayed in the same storyline and was able to take something else and get apart one of part two out of By the way that Sylvester Stallan so original Rocky, he doesn't don't know. I don't. I don't think he owns it. I think I think he made he made good deals on the later ones. I'm not sure he owns it, but I think in the Creed ones he made some more lucrative deals for himself. But to go develop after that thing existed for that's pretty amazing. And I say Creed because once again highlighting amplifying put Michael B. Jordan's on, and Michael B. Jordan held his own. And now Michael Jordan's has a franchise under his belt, right, Like that didn't have to happen. So through the loves of Vessels Alan, he got the Creed. I say Creed because of you know, I think it was a better movie. I think it was a doper movie, but I like that opportunities were giving off of it. I love that. Davey Chappelle, Jamie Fox, what do you mean? He said, you're talking acting, you're talking comedy whatever, whatever is in your mind. What I'm gonna stand up comedy? Dave Chappelle, Mike Epps or Chris Tucker in the movie Friday or whatever who was talking about? I would say, who did the better Friday? What are you saying on you? Whatever? You like? You guys, this is not we can't define it for you just saying names and you're not saying like, and then I'm wrestling like, yeah, he's a better thumb wrestler. And that's why I pick Mike Epps, Chris Tucker. Okay, who's the butter better better than I'm gonna take a shot. That's right, man, Mike, were in a good space. I'm gonna keep just hit a good space. Yeah, I had funny Chris Chris Tucker story. Uh and this is when my wife was here till I wanted to she remembers us. So we were getting our first remember every day. No, no, this is like, this is a good one we should switch to after this too, not because that's not because let's just live well, let's not let me. I want you guys to taste about that. Yeah, it's stupid for you guys. Just taste this. It was amazing. But Kevin Hart side this whole time, I've been drinking Mama, don't drink that. They make that in a bathtub and kindle, that's true. You don't want that. You don't want that. Drink cold before it didn't end work. Guess what, there's no world where I'm drinking that. You know why I'm not drinking that because my option is grand cool just like three. No, no, it looks like it looks like fucking what's that? What's the ship called that? Very day used to do? We just gotta take it. There's something without Yeah, that doesn't look like I don't like it all right, look funny Chris Stuck. Chris Stuck story. So, um, we were buying our first house in l A and we're coming to this neighborhood and I didn't know that Chris lived in the neighborhood. And this is when Chris was like having the taxes problem. So I'm like in the house and they're like showing me things. They're gonna renovate some things. And Chris comes by and all he says from outside is pay your taxes. Man. I'm like, what it's Chris Stuck. He comes yeah, man, just paying taxes. And I was like, Chris, what are you doing here? He was like, well, I'm here, man, I got a house down here. Too many he's coming here. I'm just telling you pay your TAXI he left your greatest vice he left I gotta visit from Chris Tucker and Tito Jackson. Tito Jackson one day just came a while I'm not sure if you're playing okay and told me no, Chris Tucker, he's a separate. Tito came by itself. Have finger ways, hey, man, that's I cannot confine. First of all I say. I want to say. The Jackson family is an amazing family. I love the Jackson at Tito just came in. He knocked on my door. And you know, nobody ever knocks on the doors. I assume somebody cool. I just came to the door, Tito standing there. He said, I had to come by. You open the doors. Oh, my mother, I said, Tito, he said, I have to come back. He said he was in the neighborhood. They told him. Yeah. He's like, yeah, man, it's music come to show. I just kept going, Remember how many cirls are gonna give him? I know all the curls you call me. I gotta keep it. Let's go. Yeah, I'll tell you what Tito had when he's saying, bro, come on, let's go give me another one way. I'm drunk now the best. By the way, it's not like a bad drunk. It's like a good It's a great dun people. It's like it's like, oh, dance for all night? Okay, New jack City or King of New York, New Jack City. What's the snipes? True story? What are you talking about? Come on, and Chris rock Man, you gotta give it like a professional alright, alright, that's people, Okay, Will Farrell or Woody Harrison. Fun man. Will Farrell is the funniest man I've ever worked with in my life. But but Woody Harrilson is the most interesting man in the world. That's my man. Tears, that's your man now, tears called from cheers. What Harrison? Do you tell you who he is? What? Harrilson is the dope sexiest man. Have you ever seen the Doe sexist commercial? And you're saying in real life? Now he's not in the Come on what wow? I want you? He is the most interesting man in the world. What he Harrison is a raw vegan. He smokes. He smokes, smokes um only eats food from the earth at a certain temperature. He operates like a nomad, like he's a He's whatever the earth provides he uses. He spins his water up spins. What does that mean? He makes it? It's water. How do you make water? I don't fucking know, But he doesn't. He doesn't have bottle water spins. He spends it. It's called spinning. He spends his water. Electricity. He doesn't like if it's like forced electricity and not natural from like the solar with the some he like, I'm not gonna tell you that type of person, Like he's uh, feel like he got horses. He know, he's like he's like, he's like he's a nomad. He's the most interesting person you'll ever talked to. He's the happiest man. He's the happiest man you will ever talk to. Like he's he just goes a Jostra treat and a trailer. You can't if I can if I want to call Woody right now, it's a like I can't call him emails. Like one person can get to him. Not a lot of people can get to He's a person that's like he's he's so centered with being present in life. No phone, none of that ship. He's not that guy. He's a He's a different breed. He's the most interesting man I've ever been around with. Kanye was like that too. Kanye was like that for a minute to well, I don't know, k I'm going to sleep. One time he told me one time he was at the gym. He said, Kevin, you don't really do the phone ship, but like give me like an email and I'll see an email. Assume it's equal Knox. Yeah, Egual Knox right assume. So then after I'll never go to equal NOx. But you were just train again in my life, I don't like you guys. After he emails me, but then it's like from a phone and it's a signature. It's like Kanye, I'm like, is this your phone? And he goes, who's this? Disappeared? But Kaye is like one of those guys or like he said, not no more, but there was a moment where he was no man navigating for a minute. Yes, And then we'll get into the story with you just training know well, yeah, made me never want to come back. I'll stop it. And you were working on or Jada kiss, I'll tell you shot cabin, cabin is back in. Are we gonnat this? This? This is a lot about us. I can't I can't answer that question. Okay, that's that's I don't think that's a fair question exactly. I don't question it's a fair question for drinks. And we're going to switch to this. We're gonna you're gonna finish your shot. I am okay, I'm gonna take you wanna take a what I'm not letting you take a fu? You think I got the time. We don't stop. We can keep going. We can go, you guys, keep going, keep going and take a lot. We're ignoring people. You can't. Why don't do it? I don't know. You think best? You want? I don't want to take I would finish after the show. I would you're you're you're a real drink chick. Not get cameras. You know, we say like this and okay, and you keep going. We keep going. That's such a horrible edit for a second. We keep that. Let me stop for a second as a producer. If you funk up this camera shot by walking away, you leave a home with me and no ring now and talk, but we lose. You know, we can put a mannequin right here, mannequin, mannequin right here. No, no, no, you're gonna help up. You know what now? I think we never throw up fucking believe I'm now you know, of course, sorry, I already my shot? U like, did you're leaving it? Really? Really? I'm not upset about it, but I don't like it. I like that. I don't like it that the first gusta take a piss. Hey, you guys, get the funk out. Listen TV we don't. We don't do TV. This is we in it. No, no, no, we don't end it. We're in it. We're in it. No, we're gone. But then we all gonna take a pis. I'm done. No, I'm walking out. Yeah, yeah, that's right now. Want to make you hold your piss. I'm not really have to piss. That's not to you, Okay, Queen Latif mc light, just take a shot at rapping whatever you want, sir, set it off and as motherfucker whatever you want to. I want to go to say Queen Lativa because I feel Queen Latifa is still finding new ways to reinvent, recreate and do uh m c lights still works and does stuff. Um, she's an amazing voice for so much bt um Award shows specials, any any award show us like she's becoming the voice of God, um for so many and that doesn't mean actually God, it's uh a reference use when dealing with award shows, et cetera. But Queen Latifa is just still acting. I know, she just released a movie on Netflix. She's still producing, She's doing so much. So talked Yes, Queenlieth, I want to say queenly Teeth the movie is actually kind of good. It's to the end, to the end, I ain't gonna I was like, why do you say? Why don't people do that? Like the more was actually kind of good? Like you know what, let me let me be freak raise that the movie is actually great. But here's here's here's want to say, why do people do that? If you like the movie, you enjoyed it. I enjoyed it, right, seriously, So the movie is good to you. It's great if you leave up a window or inkland for somebody to infiltrate your suggestive of what it is. But it's kind of good, you know the thing that you're like, like they get into your ship. I'll tell you why. And it was good for you to say it was good. The reason why, Like I don't read my own comments, okay, Like if I post something, I don't read what people say about me, but I read with people saying about other people. Do you have to care? Sometimes I do. I can't lie to you. Care No, sometimes what care? I want you to take a second a second right now, look care drinking take a second of process that. Do you really care? Sometimes I do? I can't lie to you like sometimes like like there was a meme. I mean they're said, most people see a person of course the street, and they say that the person of course streets don't like them, so they say, most people want to go over there and say why you don't like me? And then I believe fifty posted this and pretty said I'm the guy that says I don't give a funk why do people of course street don't like me? I'm not that guy, but I'm actually the guy that I want to know? Why? But why? Why do you skip the logic? Why do you skip the common sense logic of what part? What do they? What does that change in your life? What do they change in your life? What do those comments that you read? I wouldn't be honest. Do you have Twitter? Yeah? I have everything? Okay, sorry, it might mean swear dom he the most place on the planet to who to me? Okay, litten, listen to what you're saying right now? All right, I'm sorry, I'm gonna reverse it for a second. Let's go I already did you don't even realize that I watching watch? You d a lot of red wining. Let's you know what? You listen to what you just told me? You just told me that platform where people come on and talk translates to your real world, which is why you care. You know what I should rephrase. I asked you to think about that. I apologize because it does. It doesn't. It doesn't. It affects me while I'm on the app, it doesn't. I'll tell you a story real quick. One time I had beef with this internet troll guy. Right, I don't want to already, I don't want to say his name or whatever. But it was crazy, like me and him going back and forth. You know what. Angela ye Angela Yee called me and she said can you And I was like, you know, Angela, I'm a little stressed out, like this guy's box is in my comments every time I post something. So I'm sitting there and I'm actually worried. I'm actually liked do something wrong. And Angeley gave me the best advice ever. She said, can you do me a favorite where you're at right now? And I forget where I was at. She was like, just walk across the street. And I walked across the street and then I walked back and then I called that and she was like, did anybody tell you look anything that happened on social media, and I was like, no, she was like exactly, boso you know what she called your bozo. If she would have she would have been correct. And I'm gonna say this everybody watching two please, there's a misconception as to reality versus false reality. Right, I see it all the time. Came not finding Fuck you man, I'm so sick of what the funk? When they're gonna stop? God damnit, he see it all the time. I'm still gonna do the movies. I'm still want to do commercial. I'm still gonna go perform. You ain't funny funk that I'm okays fifteen people out of each if I get into that thing that they believe, Well, what's the where's my side of real reality? You have to understand that the social media is amazing as it's pros and cons. Right, one of the cons one of the one of the cons is one of the cons is negativity. Right, there's a world of negativity that's embraced on social media. So if you allow the negativity to infilfrate, infiltrate your world of good, you lost Like there's real world and then there's that the real world is what you actually exist into who you exist with. If those people don't say shipped to you to shake you or knock you off your square, then tell me what really matters. So if I'm gonna let a comment or a person and affect me and then I shoot me on social media in general, and that's the difference, that's the difference in the mindset of a lot of people that's on it, because a lot of people are on it for the fulfillment of what the comment says. Have you been a black Twitter? I don't even know what the fun that is. You know, you kind of made it up in the way you described me talking about this is say, talking about baby on black Twitter? Black ship? What does that mean? I don't know. I just even though it's the same Twitter, that's what it is. But it's the same Twitter, but it's a certain section of Twitter where it's just some black ship going on. Do you do you know this? And you's just saying this, this is real? I know this alright, And then you know it's like and it's like the Bill Cosby Ship. It's like where we because like where we keep it real? Because everybody like one of them, like write Bill cost black people talking it. I don't want to say that, Kevin. I want to say, we are negotiating hostage. Okay, hostage right now, Okay, black definitely right now, right now, right now, I can say. I can say, do you guys have questions for Kevin Hart and the worst questions in the world. That's gonna come within twenty five seconds. Okay. So it's it's black foodle talking shit. I don't want to say talking ship. Okay, you're not doing a good job of fucking explaining definition, So tell me the definition of what it is. Come over here, come over, just just explain. Black Twitter is the worst best place in the world. Black Twitter is basically all of us. We come together, we do our means, we do our topics, we do everything where we talk about in our community. Twitter is like America and we got so Spain. Was that correct when I said black people talk? I was correct. Okay, it's like a secret community. It's like only us hearing black people talking ship. That's what I'm saying. Okay, I got it. Okay, it's amazing Black Twitter. I got it, Black Twitter or not, who gives a fun how I understand? Like it's like we're in a time where everybody highlights the world of opinion. You forget that it's just that, by the way, I falling victim to it. I fall a victim at certain points in my life. We talked about earlier me on clubhouse, etcetera. Like you fall victim to it. But ultimately the biggest thing you realize it don't matter. It don't matter. Like those comments you're talking about. I'm a logic guy. I'm a I'm a reality guy, right, I don't live in fantasy. Check. I don't live in fantasy. Right, So in reality I killed that you called in reality? How many people in the world billions? Do you see billions of comments? In your fucking people see three, people see fifty, they see eight, They see a bunch of whatever. But whatever that means, maybe selling art, and they'll be telling you that they made money off of the funds. I don't like the Nor's got a problem. The is the first niggas. That's all I'll be thinking about it too, like the sad man, Get the funk out of it. To anybody else that gives a funk about comments, ask yourself, why do you care about people you do not know? That's it. I've wrapped it up that simple. Why the fund do you care about people you do not know? Why do opinions of people that you don't even know who they are, what they are? Why do they matter? What matters to you? Who really shakes your fucking ground in your world? If you got a wide variety of who those people are, that's your problem. If anybody can shake your foundation and take a brick from underneath it and make your building fall down, you have bigger problems that should come from a solid nucleus. We name the names of the people around me. There's certain people that can say something that can affect my fucking foundation for real, and I neber as small. I'll be damned if it's a comment, I'll be damned. If it's a blog, I'll be damned. If it's a person I've never seen or never know. Who gives the fuck why? If it doesn't come from your from your nucleus, or from your your circle, or from the thing that you build, it shouldn't matter, point Blake, It shouldn't matter. That's it. It's just a so I ain't a lot of you. I was just pointing it to be cute. You guys are gonna love this, I promise at all. Come on now, come on now, be honest. That's good. Come on now, I'm gonna wake up in flatbush because you got a long way to go. Man, go on down, come on out, come on now. I like it. Come on, he thought, is gonna be fucking it started out, but it's gonna give you that what that y'all? Y'all you let be honest with you, Okay, getting sucked up, by the way, by the way I'm saying, we're being fucked I'm staying strong and let me just be honest with you because this is something I say, is just something I always want to tell all my friends. Because I'm your friend does not take away from me being your fans. You continue to elevate. I was so blue away no playing out like that. I was. Let me just say something, Let me just say let me you tell them when when artists that I love drops the album, I could tique them, and I could tique them because I'm not no longer making albums, so I could take him and I look at where they could suck up and how they could suck up. And it wasn't I was doing that yesterday. But I want to do. I said, cap can't be this shop. He got too much money. He got beautiful white, beautiful people everyone. There's no way he has to slip up. It has to pay one. And I'm looking at you like this. You know what you say to me, I'm like Damnis for real, like you. He was directing me to my seat. Jesus, such a Jesus. I'm an rapper. I'm gonna make it two seconds before it storry And you did not you you controlled everything. So I'm looking for a slip up. I'm looking for it. I'm watching. Only slip up was at the end, Yeah, I said, And then I look, I said, another pass listening. He stick, he's staying in the tradition. What those yess? Yeah, I said, Holy moly, guacamoti. He pay how much? By the way, that's a that's a that's a that's my no, that's my nod all the time. And you didn't slip Yeah, you stay shock. And what I noticed is to be a great comedian you have to be a great story telling. Absolutely, absolutely absolutely. If you do not have good stories to tell, do you have no substance. You need to be able to tell stories and and by the way to be a great comedian. You need problems, real problems. Yeah, you need your brother. Need to your brother. I thought I knew him brother, because of how you describe one time I met your father. Um, I don't remember where was at, but I just start to went to him like I knew him. And then I realized I've never met this guy. My dad will welcome. My brother is my my fucking everything. I love my brother to death. My brother's brother, slash dad, slash brother, the best dog. I brother had a moment, but he's not he's good. You gotta see this, you gotta see the set. I can't. I don't want to give it away here, don't give it away. Yeah, but my brother is fucking he's a part of the reason why I am the man I am today. Right, you can't. You can't ignore my older brother. Yes, I got that part. I was about to say, I I want I want to be hurtful. No, that's my brother. Okay, Kenny, you know what I almost said. I almost said, yeah, all right, I said no, But my my brother is he's just a valuable piece of the puzzle of our family. You know. Um, he he takes the role old that you don't realize uncles are supposed to take my kids are my kids know so much because of the ship that their uncle is brought to the table. Little ship that you get about. I'm saying, I dope my brothers. So you know we all assume throwing like a boomerang. Yeah, seeing it. You know, my brother is the guy to tell my kids you ever throw a boomerang. No, whether he works it or not, he understands how to intrigue and get kids excited. Hey you have y'all don't know about the slinky. Back in the day, slinky, No, my brother went and found a fucking slinky kids. Yeah, but today is it? No? No, what kids even know about it today? Remember the army man that's two advance. I'm talking the parachutes on their back flying a kite. What listen. Listen. By the way I saw my brother to it, I was like, this isn't crazy. I'm not flying built the kite. Got my kids out there, listen, Got the kids out there running all the ship that you forget that made your childhood special. He remembers, maybe my kids watch the older movies like uh, little rascals, little giants, all the ship. Honey, I shrunk the kids all the movies that we watched back in the day. He bat He's that guy. He's the uncle that comes to the table with different ships. So my my kids are my kids are not only in the place of just knowledge of someone from the old, but they love the funk out their uncle and that role that I can't have when I'm going, if I have to be going for a significant times, my brother steps and it takes man. So he's a He's a valuable piece to the last name Hard and the foundation that we built. And it's dope at fuck. It's dope that we're holding on to the sting sure and his birthday. Fuck's your birthday. It's a sucking shot. Drink my brother John, I got it right. It's that's from well he doesn't drink. Let's just wait a question. Okay, quick time slod Okay, we finishing? Have you not finished? Kevin is very innovative. Yeah, we'll hurry up. Come on, I'm not gonna people see great toe quill drinking Grand Quarter is my first time drinking the brown one. Well it won't be the last. How about this? Shouts out to Grand Core. MEO just of course, you guys have sponsors if we don't want to disrespect him. Thank you guys for allowing me Am I Tequila to come on to be a part of your show today. I'm having a great time and I'm drinking what I feel is like, uh, premium tequila. Not sure if you guys are done before, but it's good guys, and you know, we got products for you. We got products for you, and we got the canaid back. Give him the canaid back in case we're done smoking weed, even smoke this. Yeah, there you go, man, we got everything. Everything you need to everything you need to shout out to Candida because I'm going to jail. See it's completely it's not like. It's not like I don't feel comfortable taking this back. Okay, that's right. Good as what I'm saying on camera, I don't feel comfortable in taking this back. Okay, go ahead, Hello, all right, let's move on. Come on, Missy or Eve who's your producer? They do a great three people we got we have to Dominican, right, yeah, that's a great job from from Peru. I mean that's eastern Philadelphia on the park right, like, so you cannot she's the first female rough Rider and Cracy taking a shot her. No, it hurts me, the sack shot. No, I can't have a little bit. I want to say, Missy man, because you can't. You can't deny Missy Elliott's legendary stands music hip hop in general can't denied. But even as a fucking force of nature. And Philadelphie loves that. I love it. Took black Door almost that. I don't think you gotta go answer that. Let's take a shot. I can't wait to hear Herena. I'm gonna go ahead, poor mama, just pour up. Man, he's thinking a little great story to tell, right, he said once a bunch of time making me feel bad about that. I gotta take a shot. So fuck it, fuck it, this is it. Fuck it I'm saying, fucking saying. I'm gonna black thought. And here's why I'm going to black thought for the fact, the fact, this is a fact. Fact. The roots, the name of the roots a significant to hip hop in general. And from the roots, you also have names that yes, you have names that people go oh ship, yes, I know. And these names everyone want to do amazing things on so many different levels, right, like um when we think about a group, when you think of the band, you forget what the band is, what the band does. The roots have stayed true to that and the fact that Black Thought as a lead singer, as the the black person of the best, he's never left his foundation. He's still with his foundation. So I'm gonna say Black Thought for the fact that his foundation is what it is and he's been true to that thing. So shouts out to him for being an example of why we as Philadelphias are different. Yeah, most damn, I love you, uh and I know you don't go bout most stuff anymore. Yes, yes, yes, see, but I think my answer was good enough for you to understand. All right, let's Will Smith ice cu m h. I think we all got ready. Nope, I don't need him. Dark times deserve fucking great light. I'm not gonna shift on my brother and they both are my brothers, but I'm not gonna take the time to shoot on him and say Will Smith. And here's why Will Smith is a fucking He's not only a legend, he's not only a goat. I don't know he's against Well that doesn't alright, your world is not mine because of your words, uh Philly against Brooklyn will Smith. Come on, but he didn't Brooklyn know what's coming, Will Smith. Will Smith is the reason why the idea of African Americans attached to global I pen intellectual pron just owned. That's what the dudeos took the gamble um on more leads of color um because of the work that Will Smith, Denzel we're doing in the beginning, right like you, you need to faces that are getting universal return. So I'm not gonna shoot him Will and act like he hasn't been. Wasn't that guy? I want to go Will Smith? And people make mistakes, and from mistakes they should be allowed time to fucking recover, and that this is no longer the world's problem. It's uh Will and Chris's problem. Let them deal with that. The world should step out of it. But let me just ask them as a married man, when he said keep your name, my name, your white mouth, part of you was like word up right, keep you keep it? Are she's right over there? You gotta you gotta say yes. I mean I don't have to say yes. I mean I think there's no world where a wife that's with him man doesn't know the level of respect that her man demands for her and once for her. Um that had nothing to do with that. That's the world talking. I think that's something deeper than anybody would ever understand. And that's why I said the world is now out of it. It should stay out of it. Move on. Let let let will recover from it. Let Chris get back to work is normal, and let two men be men to figure that out if they choose to. If they do, they do. If they don't, think you gotta take a shot for that. Wow, I'm really nice. I'm not going I'm good. You said yourself over that one. That one that was that was perfect. It's just a good wait why shot out? But I'm not okay this one right here because because you live in l A. But you're from the East coast, this one right here might be a little crazy in wait or wu tan clan. I just feel like you should take a shot just close to your because it just goes to the geographics. Man, you formerly your answers. I see this because you can't just act fast. You have to take a seconent thing. No, no, I appreciate that. Yeah, you gotta take a seconent thing. Your show isn't the show without great answers, people taking the shots all day? It is great, but people answering the questions are better. Just then, um and we're ready for this great answer. All right, I want to say it, but I want to say it. The world may not like me from it. Take a shot. I want to apologize to my brother Que before answers to my brother qu before I answered this, Que, he's not thinking n w A is amazing. You cannot deny what they were, what they did. You cannot deny the history that was made by the way success. Once again, it's best fucking told through the visuals of what people were able to do under the damn brother. When you look at Easy Dr Dre Cube, amazing careers happened people under that. But when I think about the Wood Tank Claim, you think about old dirty bastard, you little dirty, little little Catha bastard, old dirty, You think about Matthew, you think about fucking Rizza ray Kwan, the Woods and Claim. Inspected Deck without with the exception of Inspected Deck, put out the most solo albums. I think that I've ever witnessed from a group. And if I'm wrong, if I'm wrong, it. Okay, but they put a lot of solo albums it from that group. Everybody got a shot. We can shot for that. Goddamn you set yourself up. By the way, this is a great ship. Wrap it up, Wrap it up, Come on, wrap it up. Let's go. Moue what you want more? Okay? I love you. I did not mean to do that. But we're not gonna take that. I'm gonna Monique. Here's why. Here's why Monique. Monique got some bad attention and some bad get a bad rap. They say that she's very hard to work with. We love Mama and your man. He's never been Listen when people say they say I hate that. I hate when people say they hate when people go they I heard who right? I don't like they don't They don't want you to have a cheeseburger who they don't be one you have? I know who is that? I don't know. They tell me who is that? Yeah, I don't want a name. Who he knows? Fletcher? Who's that? It's nickname Fletcher somewhere. I don't know. When people as soon and people group, you're part of the problem, yes, right, so s Monique and her battles and entertainment. I'm quite sure she's done something's wrong. I'm quite sure she's done some things right. Here's the beauty of what I know, Malcolm Lee that here's the beauty. You will know what I know. You will know what I know that I don't know that. That's what I know. I know that I don't know. And I'm okay with not knowing. When people speak is if they do know, you're part of the problem. You don't know. So I'm speaking on behalf of a talent. I'm speaking on behalf of what I know she's done in the business. I'm speaking on behalf of her as a comedian. I'm also speaking on behalf of her opening up doors for others, the queens and comedy, the talk shows, etcetera. One of is an amazing talent, always has been. So for that, for that alone, I'm saying Monique Tiffany will be and is another example of that level of success. So that female umbrella, that black women in comedy umbrella, there's a certain amount of that share some success. Um, I'm going Monique in this case. And I'm also squashing the conversation of negative because I just don't know. So if people don't know. Sometimes it's good to say you don't know, you don't know. Sometimes it's good to say I wish I have an information, but I don't. I'm okay with that. That pup daddy, I'm sorry, but not dre. That's what I know. What I'm saying, what for what? And racing out? He's want bodies today? What do your talk about? That's being in shape? Not in shape? Is that what I'm talking about? What you want shape? Producing? You can't do that? You want you can't do producing? Okay, that's yeah, you can't do that. Why what do you mean why you can't do that? It's disrespectful to both to say who's done better in the world of producing when they know that. Versus doesn't make sense. It's it's all over the map. Who cav versus, versus, versus kevil verse, anybody in versus. Because comedy doesn't work in versus, we can make it happen. How does that make sense? Truffle popcorn jokes? Do the jokes? You already know the world already knows these jokes, all right, so we come with you. You don't think, you don't think you are roast roasting each other and that's not that's not the versus. Then that's snapping. So you now change, Well, then it's not versus, so you change that. But we're making that the verses. You see how specific? I am specific? Yes, because if you talk to me, I'm a fucking business guy. We're talking about versus. Great is that versus is me against you, my catalog versus your catalog. In that way, it's camp and comedy. You want me to tell you the jokes you already know versus jokes that you said that they already know. And do you want us to say it again? Are you basically saying you can smoke anybody versus I'm saying it doesn't make sense to come, but we can bring people from another country. They never heard the jokes that it doesn't make sense. It makes it long. I can't do comedy with verses. You can do snapping snapping snap verse. I just said that. Can you do snap versus? That's great? But I would never do that. You know, I thought you Aprian Crocket went at it a little bit. We went at it by having fun, being like cool. At this point in my career, I'm not doing a snap versus with nobody yeah, does it make sense. No, it's just true. Like a Santa Claus, I think you got the drunk. No, we've been definitely right. Come on, let's go. Yea, it's been great. Um uh yeah. You guys don't even know what I did this last week. You noticed that I fucking offset you and I never answered fucking puff and dre sidetracks. I didn't see that ship. You didn't see it because I did it, versus thank you. He has a drunk. Were all having fun and we have celebrating reality check. I don't know if you know, but I wish to one of the greatest comedy shows I've ever seen yesterday. I don't know if you know that, but I went to the one of the greatest. Give me that. What the fund is this? Maybe smooth? I want to make no word. Does not drink to kill us, do not drink. Just signed the box with him. I love, he loves to love. But I want to also make it very clear as you watch this whole thing, is I drink. There was no faces, there was no bad taste or bad reactions. Fun man, you said Farrell or Kanye. I don't think the world knows how much Farrell has done m I don't think they know. I fitted to say, like, Kanye's success is highlighted because he's Kanye, and it should be. He's a genius. But I don't think the world knows how much Farrella is done. Um, I love doesn't mean I'm choosing for Real, but I'm saying that I don't think the Kanye. I don't think they know how much he's done. Like Forrell's that that I in that space. Um, I'm gonna go Kanye and his wife, his wife because if I just choose Kanye off the bag, it's almost as if oh, yeah, no, because you just went over here, and then he's just like a fake pump. No, it's not a fake pumps. To make sure that people understand is by far like Parrell is not far from the Kanye orphicis right? Like yeah, like the Kanye Kane thing, all that he's done is glorified, magnified, and it should be for real. We know about it. It's great, but sometimes it doesn't get the same volume. I'm just saying for Real's catalog, Forrell's body of work deserves the same volume. I'm only choosing Kanye because motherfucker is not afraid to stand in the fire. He's definitely not afraid of that. Not afraid to standing in the fire. Stand in the fire. Sometimes we do your best work and stand in the fire. He's been able to do that. So people running, they getting the fire. Oh my god, it's hot and burned. That's pretty crazy about him. Take a take a different dude to stand in that fire. Yeah, I'm gonna be honest. Yesterday, ray J and Kanye called me at the same day time. I did not answer. Guys were done. He's brought up. No, no, no, By the way, I'm cool. That's great. I don't want to hear it. I don't want there's nothing to hear. I just don't want That's what I did. I don't want to hear. I avoided. I don't want to hear. I wouldn't play handball. Okay, good, that's weird. That's it. You don't now there you go? Alright, alright, what's happening? What's happen? No, this is a real game. It's a real quarter game. It's a real game. I see what's happened. Okay, this is rank shams and this has been avoided. I avoided the drama you would be proud of me. I mean, I avoid drama everyday. I'm there now. Yeah, okay, yeah, Jack Black or Danny McBride, we're still playing Jack Black Black, Jim Carry or Robert that's it. We're dying. Seriously, No, we're done. We're done. I'm sucking. I've done a great job and answering these fucking questions, and I've maintained my sober steak. You guys are waiting for me to break. It's not gonna no, it's not gonna no, it's not gonna happen this. You know what. People are gonna leave here, They're gonna go. Kevin is a well spoken man, and even with this tequila about way, which is extremely going to man's core me, you know, he's maintained his character. That's it. What fucking up? Give me out of here. I gotta go. Question can answer question questions, Um, Jim Carrey or Robert Williams, and I got one last time. You should carry Robbin Williams. We're talking about like what you like about? What are you talking about? That's like? What are you sayings like that? What are you doing? All right? That's enough? Honestly doing camp when I pop is frustration spot going to be what you wanted to be heard A funk out here fucking questions. I'm happy these fucking questions. You keep trying to fucking answer me ship, and I don't want to answer ship. It's over the fucking name. You're trying to give me the same ship. All right, you're gonna out drink it for you the best, but it is my father would have broken my answer. Go I got noris self. Nori really does not drink to kill a god. I hate this. Listen, he really don't, but he's drinking it. I am drinking. Man, I'm not gonna right now, but let me get sentimental right now. You know why I want to get sentimental because you deserve it. Um you are hands down one of the funniest people in the world. I go because I claim you as a friend, I claim you as a family members. And when I go out and I see you do something different, I see you do a new movie, I'm the first to support it. When I first to stand online and I promoted by promoted to my people be because what you did and what you're doing is remarkable and continue to do is remarkable. I love your crew. I love everyone. I love everyone you have around you, which makes me know that you you visualize everything that you did and you applied it, and that's what we want to do. That's what we are doing. Because we do that, we bring all of our crew. Look at this, Look at this. They look like hood niggers. They're very professional family. But hired everybody. I hired everybody that I identify what we hired everybody excuse me, that we can identify with and we have this beautiful chemistry that's happened. I said it to you guys, all right, and I'm gonna leave because I'm give you guys a good punctuation. But this is what I'm about to say. We don't know punctuations. I'm gonna put questions. There's two things right. First things First, do I feel safe around your crew? No? Um, it's gonna go take a good place. Do you want to be honest? I'm look it up, so I'm gonna give it to you. I'm giving you a thousand percent of what I feel. I'm it's not it's not the safest looking group. Can I'll be honest with you. I'll be honest with you. Maybe they should dress better. Seriously, if I'm just the standpoint of like, we're working whatever, a lot of paying some shirts. All right, by the way, It's fine, wanted to be, and I'll embrace it because I'm here. But here's what you have to fall in the comfort. If I'm here, you gotta say why am I here? Let's go to the y. Everything is a hy alright, watch I wrap this up. My why is simple. Well, it's long overdue. Yeah, I got an alcohol and it fits because it's drink tramps and it's fun. But let's get to the real nitty gritty. Your motherfucker's have shifted to culture and conversation. Your podcast has now got to a point to where people come, they partake, they participate because they know what you say and what your co sign means something. Right. That means that your voices actually have been amplified to a space to where people look forward to what you say and how you feel. I keep talking about success, Well, let's talk about what makes success. Real success is when you figure out how to win again rapping and going okay, damn, I'm not wrapping up, choose and not do it no more? But what else I am gonna do? What the fun were You chose to grinding and figure out how to win again? So you win again. I mean, you're a winner, my Funcker's don't understand that. It's not about winning once. It's about winning one, two, three, four or five. It's not about figuring out the first time. It's about figuring out the second, third, or four or fifth. Right. When you see people that do it to that level, well they're different. You're in a box by yourself. You're in a box. When you see people that build companies and sell them and build another one, it's because that's what they do. They win. So in this particular case, I'm here not just out of the loyalty, the friendship, it's out of the respect and the foundation that you guys are built for me to come on and say, yo, I want to be a part of this thing. It's winning. You're winning, motherfucker's so so like that's when win of you, Drain Champs is now a brand, is now something that can do so much more. I hope you guys realize that, and I hope if anything, me coming on here helps you guys understand like how valuable this asset is. But more poorly motherfucker. I love you like the shipship we got. You can have time. We got time and energy. One. Let me just tell you something. You're a man of your word, always been a man of your work. I love that, but that the fact is, you know, Um, I'm used to people not being a man of their word like you know, I'm used to. I'm just the industry being industry. Yeah. And the further you got in life, the more you about the fucking crime O you all. You also embraced me and that I remember me seeing you and your wife. Um, this is when you know, life hit me hard and then and I'm getting back to where I'm at. So I'm gonna floors, he said, the Miami heat. And you're on the other side of the floor seats and you and your wife and me and my wife is there, and you're looking You're like, man, Nick, you said something to me like you and you gave me a file and I'm on the floor season I'm not I'm not even realizing I'm back. But you said that to me, and I was just like, damn, Kevin's telling me that I'm going back to where I'm supposed to be. And I took that I took that and I ran with it, and I continue to run with it because, like I try to tell you, like I'm really being real with you, um, like you helped change my life. You don't notice but me seeing your success and me seeing your constant you know, going going to it. And then and then we bring up just trained U and you in Hollywood heno. So I'm getting focused, right, I'm getting focused. And I went to the gym, and I will never go to the gym with you, this nigger or Hollywood he know again, never they made me feel so horrible. I go in. I just lost. I'm sorry, I just I'm sorry for this. I apologize like this he in the back of me carry up like what like like by the way, by the way, listen, so thisten, you know you know what, Okay, I'm sorry. Let me just describe and describe three days. So I'm picking the times where I feel like there's no one gonna be I'm picking five am. There's some motherfucker's in there with him and they are yelling at each other so much, and I'm like, why am I here? Like I don't belong here? And then Cat walked up to me. He's like, well, some of you put your ash, don't damn im. I'm like, I'm used to you're a comedian. How are you talking to me like that? But by myself right the next day, I picked up earlier time, so I think I'll picked like eight am the first time. So the next time, like he let's do five am. This nigg is there with a sprinter with this nigga again and him don't three in Hollywood. You know, I don't like them together together arguing. I don't like it arguing. Here's him up and I feel bad about this, just lost like I didn't know. So as soon as I see him, I was like, look at your fat as this crust them and crush them. But I didn't say it in a way of like you, and he listened to me. He goes, I just as I said that a bit. We didn't miss a beating. But he came and he worked out. But bottom line, he was in there. But my level of support for Noria has been endless. And this show I don't like. Listen, you're a great guy, don't but y'all to with he know together it's just not a good comedy. But but we're good outside of that people. In this case me being a good person. It's about support my brother, Like if nothing else, if I leave here today, it's gonna be a great episode. You guys got so much. Here's what I want people to walk away with. If you do not remember when you started right, your ending needs nothing. This motherfucker was with me when Kevin Hart sat in the fucking room where nobody gave a ship in my first world of improv and recognition came in the world where I was uncomfortable. He was there. He was there. He was on the set with me where he saw me get some growth and some wings. So right now, if I see my guy flying, well let me give him some fucking wins. It right there. But we gotta take this. I'm not this logo luminary like a motherfucker, but it's not. Let's get calling, you know, guys, and listen, drink Shamps is an amazing platform. Um. They don't drink irresponsibly, they do drink responsible. This is a show that does not happen as consistent as you may think. That happens when it's supposed to. More importantly, the idea of and a seen the world of progression is what they do. My ta kila is what they want to support and what they appreciate. Grand Coromino, Cristalino, clear repisado. You need it. We have a the a ho. It's a premium version. By the way, yes it's owned by me, but it should not be bought by me and should be bought by you because I'm a man of the people. Let's go. By the way, by the way, let me just let me and by the way, let me just pick up heart production. I kept together. Let me heartbeat, he beat guys. I kept it together. They wanted the buffle, mead, are you talking of them talking to them? I'm not don't make him drink. I'm not gonna make you. I didn't know Joey out of that. I'm not making you drink if you don't Enjorgia doesn't drink. Guys drinks. I don't want to make them drink. But this guy, why what? Uh scife? How about we say Sefe, welcome to the show. You know it has you here. I talked about you earlier on and I told people about what you did, what you embraced a guy that started off just in the world of dejaying and being in facing music and found love for comedy and embraced comics and then started the night put comics on that night. I'm a comic that then ended up supporting you in your night. So I just want to make sure people understand that there's a face of the world, of our entity and what I said, Uh, with that being said, Sivce, good to see you, I love you, I appreciate you, and uh, take a drink. Yeah, take a drink, Come on, make sense right? You don't drink? You want not. The only time I have a drink was when Big Punk put a gun in my stomach. That's the only shot never took in my life. The whole story together, though man tell the entire story was at Club Flamingo in New York City at a lyricist loud show most definite tolt quality before they were even black Star and and Pun say, yo, give me two shots to Hennessey. I all, no, Punt, I don't drink. Thank you. He goes, Oh, you don't drink. Gut in the stomach. He will sign my bunch of a shot of Hennessey like thanks, Punt took a shot. He wanted two more and read away. We got to see about that your heart. I don't know why you don't drink. So what happened? Because this is happiness right here. Now he's mormons more. We had drunken dragon. I just want you to know, this is the best Chinese food, Asian food cuisine. It's not Chinese Yapa knees whatever it is. But stop. You have to realize why you can't do that. You can't say that, be thrown out, can't throw out whatever you want. My plane on the ground, Hold on, hold on, hold on. You guys are sitting there, y'all I'm set to take that. Let's do some drops. That's all right, But you want to say some of the type of sounds like you want to say things. Two things. I want to like the big story, the big stuff. You don't like the big let me say the big story. But I also want you to call me about you calling me call you. Oh. When he said that, I realized, I've only seen two uh Turk and Kanye. I've only seen two black men now were draws and like shocked me one time, like I'm not wearing draws. I'm not saying I've seen something, saying like when they sit down and you like from the back, how do you see it? Like you know people like shirts go up from the back and you look, you know, oh ship Like my bokes asked me out all the time. But like if it do me, te's me. Draws are it's a different It's a different thing. Sugarray Leonard. One time, Sugar the boxer, I was at a convention. We were doing AMTHEWS and Sugar was like talking before me. He was sitting in the chair that was next and I was like, I was she rain for draws? No? They like, no, what are you talking? Dick sitting in a chair like you know people sitt in the chair if the girls sit in the chair like a on the some show. But draws should always show. So sugar just out there. I was like the names and jeans were No. I didn't understand the logic of it. Yeah, Kanye, one time without some kind of you only called me two times, two times about my show. One time you called me, you said I'm mad at you, and I said, there's no way you can be mad at me, Keth and you said, get away with talking about walking around with the same draws. Yeah, I love you, said pride, I don't change. And when he said that, y'all was like, who as a guy is now host talk show? We have a job? No, no, no, you have a job, Like like you can't if you hear some ship that made you like right what like as a whole she guts like, wait what what Kanye said that draws? He's like, yo, I don't y'all was like, you are right now like a clip. Played the clip, replay right now, replay the clip. When Kanye was saying something about like not changing the drawers and wearing draws, he said, you were the same draws, I want you to replay the clip of y'all right now in this episode of y'all, replay it. It's not acceptable. It's not acceptable, just like, like, what the are you talking about? Yeah, by the way, later on in the episode, he explained what he meant and it made more sense. But in that moment, though, flow that doesn't matter. No, no, no, and the only other I thought we were letting go. No, you call me mother, Turkey, don't. I have no intentions to watching this one because Turk Turk do me off. But I had to watch it again. You got to watch again. No, Turk who maybe maybe your best episode ever? I said, shut Turk, but Turk maybe your best episode. You read a lot of stuff Turks episode. But what the Turk what what what Turk? Turk said a lot of stuff, But Turk ship is like, uh, Turk's episode is full of Easter eggs. You know what I mean by easter AIGs yea where east are hidden? You don't know where the all the easter black. But you watch it after you watch it ship, if you go, oh, fuck, Turk episode is full of this world. Nigga. You can't deny that, nig if you know anything about New Orleans, anything about that, Like listen, you don't. He's that guy. Like but when he got to talk to you, like, wait, what is it? I gotta go wh I called nor. I was like, is it man? I said, stop drinking, you gotta stop drinking. I didn't know watching it. I was like watching my side. I called him back. It's like, oh yeah, it was so good. Like I think your best episodes have been Turk and Kanye by far, Like like I mean Kanye's I'm gonna give it to him, like I ain't gonna lie to you. He's a great interview. You know, there's so many people that that that actually uh went to the championship, but never actually you never seen the picture of them popping the bottle. Yeah, he's a guy that's at the chance get that. That's a great never seen bill called right paper bottles. You never see Steve kurt Mark skirl like like, by the way, by the way, let me just tell you something. I'm meeting with Jay Z. Steve Kerr walks by the side, goes one like this, he his thing is longer, like I'll seen your hall. So that Steve kurrk comes back you would think that Jay's gonna say to him, Yo, last night games crazy, Jay says them he was ready when Michael Jordan passed that ball. I'm looking at Jay like what he doesn't remember this? You know it? Steve Kerr goes exactly. He goes, had to be you know what to make him to say. But by the way, all right, so we stayed in the hotel. I don't want to say, where is that the whole different Nuggets just there. I'm not the differ nuggets all go to State Warriors staying there, Steph Kerry, everyone they walked by and I'm like this, but I got hold right. So some of them it is like what up North fella, looking like something new or something. And it was this. This is when I knew I'm not really that famous, right I want. I wanted to explain to you. Jay Z said, I'm meet you as he's o'clock. I said, great. But for some reason, I was downstairs at five thirty because I know these billionaire niggas they come early because they think they too good, and like, just as I expect, he was there at five forty. So I walked Jay, he goes he go, I said, Jade, but the rest of want to open to sis o'clock. I'm nervous as hell. Jay Z, come and see me. It's just me and him, Me and him in front this man, jay Z, what am I supposed to do? And then I said, jay the rest of the want to open to six. And you know what, jay Z looks at me and says, the restaurant opened. When we get that exactly what we say it exactly. And guess what coming down back? Yeah, you got five moments coming down. I wish I was coming out, he said, five moments. And he guess what happened? The people came and up and it was about because because I've been there here this whole week, they thought they said, Mrs Censeiology gotta leave. So they looked at me, and I looked and then this nigga dregs. You know, he got dress, he bought Molly and ship this they said, they gave us menus fantastic and he had fifteen minutes fifteen minutes early. Then you're on time. That's what you want this or you want the guys. I'm maintained. I don't know. I don't do that. I've done my job. I don't do this. By the way, I don't even think that's in there. I think it's like maple syrup and like, so you might as well try it. Try you do a real one. Okay, try it? Keep going, allright, all right, give me my drop, saying real quick, we're gonna take this shot. Drop. Well, I should do this before I do the drops. Yes, let me do this clean like, okay, you're about to give you about to give drink champs some ship. Just tell me what this? That's it? D No, no, give me all the drops. Okay, I don't know. I'm not here for the drops. I'm gonna take a shot and I'm gonna walk away, and you're gonna do the drops for yourself. No, then then you shouldn't be here for the Then you should just go I'm gonna finish this and then half. Thank you so much for being a man of your word. Hold on, hold on. Yeah, we're taking a picture too, But thank you so much for being a man of a word. But you know what, fu damn No, that's serious. But that's seriously because I'm so proud of your progress, Gracian.
