Welcome to Drink Champs, the production of The Black Effect and I Heart Radio and his drinks motherfucking podcast. He's a legend. Every queen's wrapper. He's like me, it's your boy in o R. He's a Miami hip hop pioneer. D j e FN. Together, they're drinking up with some of the biggest players in the most professional, unprofessional podcast. And you're enough one sorts for drunk back Drina. Every day is New year, z does It's time for Drink Champs. Drink up. Mother, mother would goold be hopeus what it should be? This is your boy and what up is d j e f N? This minitipy crazy war drink tips, Yeah yeah, Ben. And I'll tell you something. When I say I've seen this man's beginning, I said, this is when I say this, this guest that we're talking about, he's a hustler. Hustler like everyone who hustle and grind and go to work has to respect this man. I know everyone feels the same way about me and his album right now, but they're still his competition. So niggas ain't even give it, Niga said, trying not to give it up. But the man this is the years, and when you're in the game these years is supposed to when you're supposed to make a half ass album. The man did not only make a half hit. I only make a stellar album. I'm gonna go ahead and say I think I'm damn there. Sure it's a classic. Every single track is hard, hard, hard. I was promoting this ship like I was his strange like I told that, I said, but I'm not I'm not even doing it because he's my brother, not doing it because he's my friend, and I'm not doing I'm doing this because this is preyer great fucking music. It's great fucking music. The man made the album of the Yeah, I'm going out there and I've been saying that I've been No one's been testing me though, they've been hitting me on the d M s and be like, yo, you're right, but I'm like, say it probably, but I realize some of these still this competenction. So in case you don't know who the funk we told about, we told mom motherfucker too. Jam. Now, I'm gonna go ahead and say it. I've been in the rap game. I know the rap game. The more years that you you go, the more experiences, the more possessions and money you make, the less content and subject be mattering. You know, understand I'm saying, how the fund did you still maintain this subject matter after all these years that the oldest is sets, So all the cars, all the everything, you still made a motherfucking great fucking I'm saying the classic you ain't got to say, I'll take two beat for you. You know what I'm saying, But how how then did you do that? A lot of uh, we're a lot of experiences that I still hadn't had a chance to touch on. You know, music for artists is therapeutic, right, and so it's something that I do constantly to night, night in, night out. I'm always you know, trying to get my feelings and emotions out. I'm always working on trying to be better than I was, you know the day before that. That's just something that I've been Yeah, my drugs, I'm super I'm so passionate about it. I love, I love, you know, working with all the artists, artists that I hadn't worked with before, That's what this album was about, Like working with you know, the the newer young generation and kind of combining those vocal instruments together that come up with something that you know sonically wasn't out yet, you know what I mean. That's an interesting thing that you say, because a lot of times when we get elder and then we start messing with with with with the young boys, we try to go in their world. Oh yeah, and that's when we walk out. I think you did the perfect balance because all of the from from four to that's forty two, Dug, I learned that bacially from both too dog to a little baby. You actually, I don't want to say broken completely in your world, but y'all share the world together. What was unique in the middle. Yeah, I think I think that's what I mean. You know, as an older artist, it's a couple of things the older artists in the past that we've seen could could maybe hamper them or make them feel a lot a little faster, And that's not embracing the youth and the young and upcoming artists who are doing great things um and trying to do what what it's not natural to them or coming to them. So you know, I know, it's like when I'm in the studio every night, I'm definitely not doing the same records because I know I have weaknesses, like like it's like basketball, like you know what you're saying, you want to work on your free throws or you left hand. So in the studio, I'm not working on doing the whole R and B song, but I may try to work on being more more because you see the direction of where music is gone, you know what I'm saying. I'm not I'm not trying to just be full long auto tune, but it may be some some of my voice right now because I don't want to, you know, have that you know, old school, because yeah, yeah, you know it. It's a just train to hear certain things. So I'm I'm smart enough to still want to learn more. You know what I'm saying. I'm smart enough to I'm smart enough to learn from somebody older than me. Ain't younger than me. I don't know everything, so I think that's what what what helps me kind of stay around and be present that I wanted a certain purpose. New York doesn't change because my friend right here to the right has always been saying how the South never gave New York love. No, no, no, New York never gave the South. Okay, New York never gave the South love? Have you had that? And I'm talking about a certain generation, like a certain time frame. This is what I'm talking about. Did you go as like that? Because because it can because I can talk about a personal experience or I can talk about you know, the masses and something like that. My personal experiences with New York people is um, I was embraced. You know what I'm saying. I was. I was embraced personally from from the likes of noriy Um Primo, Jim Jones, Jada. This is you know, years ago before I became well known. So I remember certain artists that would would embrace me. Noor put me on Pino first, you know, and he put me on because COVID it came from China. That was that was my first time I'm hearing it, you know what I'm saying. And you know, hung out with the boys in the New York streets and honestly, it was something that I always wanted to do. Man, it was something you know, when you think about somebody from the South. We saw these visuals of New York people with boots and bombers walk you know what I mean. You know what I mean so I had that chance to um to do that. You know what I mean, Bottle, I can't forget about him. But just like mob and with people in New York was fun for me. Changing you're changing exactly what I've always said. It was the industry and it was at a certain time in like the early nineties New York show you love but but but overall, when New York had the belt or the title, then yeah, they kind of they kind of held on to it, you know what I'm saying. Individual but see, but let me say this, when a New York person had the title, that person had the title, like y'all wasn't even sharing it a month, you know what I'm saying. At we've passed the toy. You know, want somebody win the championship, everybody stops, Everybody holding the trophy like you know what I'm saying, Everybody get a picture with they go to the club, they'd have a rappers hole on the trophy. In New York they had We never came out, you know what I'm saying. And y'all all be slick home boys, but didn't make you be like man, you know what I'm saying. Whatever, you know what I mean, so I saw that, you know, I mean just from outside looking at it looks like that. Let's make some joise because the lad is doing that right now. Want you want you want to stop because we gotta make no, we have to make no no, no no no, let's stop right now. All right? Listen here what's my main camera? Hey, this is not a paid that. This is really how I feel this in this battle. Right here, this beautiful bottle with the with the it looks like Royt at the top. Right, this Reprosado right here is owned by a great friend of mine and one of my mentors. Right all right, he goes by Sean P. Diddy Combs, right and and and he's right. You know what I'm saying. We had a talk, and I just want to tell you you it wasn't even talk. He said what he had to say. And I said, you're right, and we do be drinking all the white man ship that I don't know, I don't know you and and that's and that's facts. And you know you drink it and you'd be buying into it and stuff. But the people not paying me and neither this bro. I don't need no money. But but I'm gonna need this on my rider. I'm gonna need this in my section. We're gonna pipe this ship the funk, right, you know what I'm saying. And that's all we gotta do. Like that. He ain't This ain't even in my lane. So why would I even not want to do it? You know what I'm saying. It's not like I have a competing brand or something. Even if I did, I still folk myself. I can't lie to you, and I can't lie to you go for your drinking. Jay called me one day and was like, because I said a beautiful thing about working with jay Naas and Pop and then then the next day I had drinks some my wet we don't be thinking like that nothing, but I do. Now put the camera down, I don't talk about it. So he hit me, said I thought you you don't know Mr Them, And I was like, I never had an argument. I was like, but he was so rich. I had to tell him they ran out of a spade. This when the people he loans first hit born everything, I had to go to six stars. We're gonna believe me? Like, yo, look they don't got it, And he's like, so, but we got it straight. This is black on everything. Look at that what it means. We'll get some rock bottle over here, man, make us feel better. Man, Let's don't say it about life. Baby. You know what I'm said. We know the owners and all these ships right here, man, couple of God, damn it, we're gonna support. So let me just tell you. I let me ask you something to change. At one point, No, no, I don't put it in an ace. Okay. At one point going to a strip club was like considered some corny ship. It was when when was that episode in New York? Fact you see down South, it's gonna be one of them, kind of because comparison. Listen, let's just be clear, for the last fifteen years I've lived in the South, is that is that? Everyone knows that, but I can't. The way I talked Nigga is no where I'm from, Like, that's no way. But at one point I think it was the Players Club. It was the first time we actually accepted that because the movie it was actually a Players the Club in Atlanta, and when we went there, because because we didn't chill that strip clubs. How did this how did the culture go for him? No? One's chilling that strip clubs everywhere in the world kind of reflects Atlanta strip club scene. I'm gonna be real with you. No strip clubs is like Atlanta. No, no, not even that, No, no doubt about it. We got good strip clubs, but like a close number two. But what really happened was, um, they're very close number two. What happened in Atlanta and what and what happened in the industry, what happened with you know, make it rain and strips and the lost big time with follies though, Follies of Peace. Yeah, yeah, we needed fathers. But the thing that happened with strip clubs was really you know, meet and b But that was that's what really, that's what really changed. Ye that's what made it, you know what I mean, because it became a prestigious thing. You know what I'm saying. When I went to the strip clubs, it was one called Pleas of Cleveland Avenue, and they used to pop popcorn and ship right, and they had fired all the dances. Right. Okay, it's not it's not slang right, pop popcorn. It's I'm just trying to pass you. You know, two different areas before before BML and like, so you know what I'm saying. So the clubs were like this, it would be a couple of girls, you know what I'm saying. And it wasn't m it was cool. And then like when BML came, you started seeing girls that you went to school with because the money was like circulated so well and you started saying, um, people in Atlanta. I felt like at one time, at least from my side of town, people we would get money and we would just hold the money and we would have a nice car, but we wouldn't drive it to an event ame and we had nice clothes, but we wouldn't put it on to it was time to put it on and went like you know what I'm saying. When BMV came and made you just want to spend your money and made you want to be a part of that that flicks and it made UM strip clubes way more popular and made girls want to dance and they made it actually helped out the Lanta scene because the dancers are really like and and os for Atlanta. That's how we that's how we stay on top because the records get broke and let a lot of strippers just owe a lot of money. Then I mean they get paid off about it. Yeah, it's like yeah, because they tell a DJ like, I need to hear this song. It's gonna make these niggas till and when that song, if it's your song, then you gotta you know, you can tell your trajetory from that whatever. But definitely I can say that when BMF came and meet, they buying all the ones and you know what I'm saying, really so they make a rappers, they make it right because you're seeing this that make up, you know what I mean. And that's where all that ship really really came because for you, yes, the rest of the world looked at throwing money at some corny ship for years. Yeah, let's just be clear and niggers that's in the forties, know what I'm talking about. You don't got the money, shouldn't be doing that anyway. And then I see then another thing in allowing the culture was the DJ would really really hurt your feelings. If you want to spend money, it's like you have to go to church and you feel like the preacher talking to you, so that the DJ be like, man, what then you're doing over there? You're broke? As just looking at pussy. You'd be like you be looking, let me get who he playing with the home not even talking to nobody. He just making you feel a certain way. And you know, you know, I never thought that every time I was inside college and they shot you out nor in the building like automatically. They didn't do that for the sat They don't say. They don't stop saying your name until your body and then and then they want to count you up. And they don't want to count your ball. They play your record. You better to spend the count your ball. You went for a people, but now you got to buy four balls. And yeah, so let's be honest. The way Atlanta is is running right now? How Atlanta got it on a lot? By the way, respect short love to that. Did you ever think that though? Yeah, yeah, yeah, we had our cast, we had key Look, we had Sammy saying we had some hard acts in Atlanta. We had you know, good in We had a bunch of R and B as you know. Till see, Yeah, I thought, so it's in its Atlanta. We're not laying it's Atlanta. Were like popular popping. We're not country or nothing. We're selling bags and bricks and ship. You know we're doing it. We're running four and calls. You know, it's about thirty colorist in Atlanta. You talking about like back choices, like every everybody got a land on choice. So Atlanta is just like a place that I don't think it's a no longer looked at like someone following somebody. We kind of like we leading people following our actions on what we do and what we got on how we're talking ship like that? You said, not country, but I'm gonna be honest. That guy on your album that skits that nigga country, I don't know what are you talking about. I listened to this ship times. I still do. Niga said, he said his whole half was gone. That was actually that was actually a real thing. And just to clear it up to the family, Um, it was no you know, no disrespect meant by by the skit. So the skids on my album we're real time skits, right. We had at this particular time, it was forty two in the studio. We were drinking it, but in our mind it was delion and but in my mind it was day and and I had been recorded outside the booth, so my mic was outside. We were in the studio, you know what I mean. And so people started talking about the name of my studio that I used to hustle out of. It was fifty five forty you know what I'm saying, And and they just started telling all these stories. It was like all these unsolved like stories, you know what I'm saying. And it's been years later, so people and it was alcohol, so people felt comfortable saying like, yeah, you know, yeah, I had to break in. I'm like, what you know that I had to do. I'm like, you did what? You know? I'm really like, I'm so I told press record, Press record, you know what I'm saying, drink some more, you know what? They get to tell him. Yeah, the really the tape is like maybe three aurums long. So I just took edits of that material to put inside my album. But on that particular skit, I had a little partner that uh that got killed, you know what I'm saying. And he answered there doing something unfortunately happened like somebody shot and you know, I don't know the details. I was just hearing the details then. But what my friend was trying to say is that you know, he wasn't when he when he got shot inside that he didn't see any blood, like he didn't know. It's just like his side was going and he was just like emotional talking about and stuff like that. And then like I actually spoke to um the guy who passed. I spoke to his sister, you know what I'm saying this in because she was just like, man, it just opened up another wound because it had been solved, you know what I mean, But now I can't talk about it because I'm man talked about talking to them about it and just just you know, anybody that know me, No, I'm not trying to be on nothing negative, you know, period. Anyway, it was just so painting the full story of like my album, just like what was going on even starts off talking about like trying to paint the picture like this. This was the setting, you know what I'm saying, Like this was a studio and you can hang up here, but you can't coming to back because we got you know, we got shipped in the back, We got bags and stuff like that. So it kind of sets the tone for anybody who hadn't heard the album. Once you check out Dote, don't tell this help you the skits are their meticulous and they and they have meaning to him. I had no I thought, I swear to God, I thought it was something her ship. I didn't know this way. I really technically don't know what home you're talking about, Like you know, no, no one does. That's what I was trying to splain into the young ladies, like this is the people that know what's going on in this It's so small, but I still understood what they're coming from. But yeah, that's that's everything. And a lot of the things that I went through earlier. And you know what I mean. I always say this, like everybody got a story to tell. Everybody been through something. You just ain't had a life like you had to go through something. I get that. That's it's called life like if you ain't like when people are feeling depressed or feeling down, you know, I have, I do have sympathy for but you cannot be on the constant winning street like that's just not godly. It's just I don't think it works like that. And I'm someone that I feel like personally, I faced a lot of um um. I was maybe on a downwards fire early on in my life, and then once I straightened and got straight and and got my mind right and everything else got you know, in line. Then my life changed, you know what I'm saying. So I just try to lead by example and not just like preaching and trying to tell because I remember I was on the same bullshit a lot of these other people are. So I just try to move, you know, have my actions be you know what I'm saying solid, be very transparent, you know what I'm saying. And the thing that you were doing from my album, I really appreciate it because I just walked up to you, like I don't even got your number, you know exactly, but we do like we But let me just tell you something. If you would have made a corny album, I would have talked about it too. But I'm not gonna yeah, but I got you, but I'm not going But I kid you not Like this album is fucking like, like, I know how hard it is to stay relevant in this game. And I know the more successful you get, the more time sometimes your subject matter out of touch. It becomes out of touch because like, really, what can you really relate to the hood when you're not going to the hood at one time? You know what I'm saying, but that's my four four or four album was so ill to me because ja he I actually love four four four album one. I love reasonable Doubt. Ohoh, real talk, because I didn't relate to reason with doubt like I was. I was broke and can talking about some real big money ship like then you know what I mean. Later on that somebody's like, oh, we were talking about you know what I'm saying. So so for you to do that identify, I mean, it's really a really great job, my brother, really great job. I'm looking I'm looking for you to fall off. I'm looking for you, like not in a bad way, because I'm like, all right, who it happens to us? And you shocked And I remember every spear saying that you wasn't lyrical. I felt like you just wanted to shut this thing up. This album it was. But did you did you think to be To be truthful with you, this is not even my lyrical. I'm about to drop this project with me and Wayne college Girl too, and that's gonna be that's like we're rapping in the metal verse. It's called College Grove, College College Park, and Holly Grove My bad, but it has a title that I hadn't put out yet, but I'm so when I'm about to do next is put out of Deluxe. I got fid more songs that's dropping off Adult Don't sell itself. One of them is as hard as ship I got with with Beaver, me and him. It's your hardest be So this one, this one, this one hard. And then I got man Goc you got one. But it's it's like four or five more songs that I'm adding because my project was only thirty minutes long on purpose, you know what I'm saying. And then I'm coming with this man Wayne project. And then I got a project with me and Statics selection. Well it's just you know what I mean. So really these projects are getting mixed. These projects are already done. I know, I know what I got, you know what I'm saying that So and people, my peers have always respected my my lyricism because they are a peers and they get the artists aspect. My my problem used to always being still is connecting the dots with some of the fans and knowing that you know, I've heard people tell me they ain't got some muship. Two years later, like heard some ship, and I just got that type of ship and that's really what I really do it for. I never said I was the best rapper, best lyricist, but you know I stand up with the stuff. You know, I can't say that. And you know we still being like trying to stay stay humble and say this that like, man, I love doing this ship with the best. Though. I went to the show, Yeah I did. I was here, you went, you stayed, performed. You was understand you know, I was understand how you like it? Um man? I like ship? Damn there everything bro do though? Yeah, yeah, I do. And then like going back and seeing the pictures and you know that that kind of artistic view, right, Look, that ship looked crazy like from where I was at. But I know Bro. I talked to Bro, and I know how he is about Jumbo trans versus being there. So but I know my eyesight too, so some of it I didn't get a chance to see till later on. You you were wear the boots too, do the boots? The water books don't have any water? Because something like water books I got on. I got, yeah, something crazy. But then y'all go, I will come clean big big, I don't I ain't got a lot like you can walk into No don't. Yeah they are big, but no, I mean I probably I don't know. I don't have been here anything like that. You know, I still try to. I still try to do a really good job of being, you know, being myself. But I don't have anything against his boots. That's bro shit. Yeah, yeah, it's just it's ill. But he made it make sense at the show because he had water make sense first, had the water boost on to his knees, like print see some prince. I didn't even see that, Like I was like I gave first. They was kicking. Yeah, so I'm all right before because I want to want to east track on this album, and I wanted you to tell me something about that before we do that. We want you to know to change. Our show is about giving it as they flowers, giving, but as they flowers. But they allowed so many people want to say how great you are, and something happened, something trash happening. We ain't bought that. I'm we're comfortament enough to give your flowers here, so we're gonna give your motherfucking flowers. This is too change motherfuck flowers. Yeah, A little not drink chance and not so Yes, you all drink the flowers. You gave us one of ours, just forstick of the flowers, for a second old those of yours, beautiful man, I appreciate. Put him next to your trophies. Whatever you when you do, um, you know you gave us one of our first and viral moments. We gotta drink to take a shot to that slot. You know you gave us one of our first viral moments. Man, what I didn't remember? I remember now you remember then he just mentioned No, that was Eric Spears. That's a different guy, wasn't it the Justin Bieber joint? Nothing? No, wait with Justin b we're talking, mom, you high because you were smoking to wee just the beim ain't been no wing the drink chaps what he's huh? I don't know on confusing episodes. But once once activists like once Justin Bieber and if you are the artist of high caliber started getting caught with this kind of drink. Okay, just to be we got corvid activists. We did not know that. Let's make some noise, but just to be you officially well rose that we want to show you. We want to show you oh that moment when he was on the show, though, What did he say? I've been on the show before. Yeah, yeah, yeah, welcome back. She wants to be like bucket man, man, what now your too change this think? I look, I'm just like, come on, oh my god, what's just change to change it up? You're calling you live on the podcast, nigga? You know what up? Man? You listen, let's listen. I told us, nigga, Jack Triller he a bit your ass nigger. He's standing right here. I'm taking up winking to you and ship is that? Is that? Is that correct? Say that? So? I know you fucking I'm gonna keep you hunh. You're definitely instigating, all right? A right, Jack your mother? All right? Jack Thriller is here and you're talking about some old beef with you. I told him, I said, two changes, official, nick Man, what happened with you? And learning the way to learn on Jack Golo and listen change He wanted to go out. I tell Mike as well, no worry to say them from from but anyway, bron I don't know by listen, Nicky, we need to do. I'm good. I love you. My name. Do you want to come about to comeback. Jackson, My hang up about Jackson comeback? Jackson back told me, I think it's got with you. Jack wait on, hold on Jackie quiet, get change gud What do yo doing that? Because because he wasn't that nigger in the Atlanta right and listen, was he that man? Don't mean killing wood? Run coming? They want to shoo? Man, we need talking about man, don't what don't listen, jacket infermation, get in your life? What you need to go on the court? Y, you're sucking out your nigga. Niggle for the nigga I've never heard of saying your most And then jack dipped out of the room. By the way, you had him so scared, he we will show you the whole kid. Later he ran out the room. He had to call him back, called him by the way, he didn't know what We didn't know what we're doing. We're learned the media at the time. Man, that's funny. Why you don't have my number? You trying your ship? Man, that's really probably that's probably my bad man. It's funny asself. I'm just looking at that clip because you know I'm not there. I'm just getta call man caught on dark. YEA was caught off guard. And then you know, I think, like I don't even know the history behind Bro, but I think he think I was supposed to remember him. I don't have a prot like first of all, a comedian or whatever man and I and I can't be letting. So that's what I've been working on a long time, Like no, no, no, no, like this little switch, I like this trigger or whatever. You know, we all got triggered. And if you don't um, if you if you're not in control, you out of control. You know what I'm saying. And that was a rare moment of me kind of being out of control. And I I don't even want to really waste a lot of I ain't got no problem with Bro here comedian. He tried to be funny. He's not funny to me, you know what I'm saying. And I'm I love I love comedians. I do, I really do. But and that was it. I think I was just caught off guard on up and I maybe heard something wrong because everybody was trying to yell and pipe me down at one time, so I probably thought niggas wounded something smoke and I don't know. I had to just remind it. Just you know, when when your actually come out for it's like, you know, I've never heard you, y'all. That's my first stop. And it was amazing. Yeah. And then that ship it was weird because you thought I had something against you, so put a strain on me and you and we brothers, like we fucking real virgo brothers, you know what I'm saying. So the whole ship was just like negative energy. My sea. Dude. Now, I won't do nothing. He ain't got to worry about none of that. You definitely want to squash it down having depth though. I've seen him on the red carpet one time, and h I was with my mama and my my wife. You can't with you with your mama, your wife. No, that's when I turn up. Man. Let me tell you something about me, Let me take you something, Let me tell you listen something about it. Take another shot for that. Come on a second, all right. So I'm someone that I let stuff slide. I have my two strikes. I had one strike at fifteen. I have another strike it seventeen. I got my two strikes out the way a little early. Right on criminal record so I start. You know how people go to jail and then you tell a God, I ain't gonna do that. Are you getting so drunk? I'm so high. I ain't gonna never do this again. So I've been found. God, I've been found. God, I've been you know what i mean thinking, And so I try not to do things that are putting me on this kind of kind of thing. Right, So if something mishappening to escalane, I try to like separate myself from it. Right unless my wife on my mom around, they ain't never seen me do nothing punking. To them, I'm a superhero. You know what I'm saying. You know what I mean. My wife would call me in her in her eyes, you know what I'm saying. I'm I'm I'm that nick. I ain't back. It's nothing, you know what I'm saying. And my mama, I she she know I'm She know I'm with that. I'm with that, you know what I'm saying. So when my mom would come around, she got to know that she raised a hell of a nigga. And then if my wife come around, she gotta know that she got a hell of a nigga. I'm not coping duces around nobody. So if I see you with them, I'm probably gonna turn up a little bit more because they know they've already seen it before. If I want to home own boys, like I ain't got a shot in front no home no home boys. You know what I'm saying, We did this because that's just my that's my logic around the women in my life that I loved, my around my daughters and stuff like that. Like I had an incident in the airport one time with with a guy saying, I some white dudes in my face, but my daughters was right there and I was just I'm with losing it in front of them. You know what I'm saying. Every other than that, I'm so laid backing and cool. I really worked on that a long time with just how to really control control my ship. Let's make some noise for that. I want to run through the album and I want you to tell me was that Actually it's better back Skin kind of said it right, we can. Yeah, we're talking about the studio on the skit when it first comes on. That's my homie Gump and he just he just really described because when we were in the studio talking it was people there that hadn't been to that studio. So he was just telling folks, you know what I mean, you know, just trying to paint the picture visually the people who had never been to the spot before. Yeah, me and Dollar you know, dollars my my guy in playoffs circle. We gotta So when we was with DTP, we used to have to call and asked to get studio time, you know what I'm saying, And like it was a process to get in the studio, you know what i mean. And so at the same time we were selling bags, right, but we um that was like we need a spot, We need a spot to like hang, we need a spot, period, We need a spot we can kick it home and like not at because a lot of times, like my mom was the neighborhood, Like everybody called my mama mama. So everybody really like soul drugs and our driveway and like that was just like my mom, that was her thing in the neighbor Even when I went off to college, people would really kind of take advantage of my my my house because I had my house was a trap, you know what I'm saying. My house in the house next door, and so when we get this music done, I gotta call, like I gotta, I gotta call. I gotta get studio tone if I can get a day or tomorrow. So we end up um getting a spot to put the studio in. You know what I'm saying, We're hustling and doing the same thing. And we were hustling, we're selling whatever we're selling out of it. I end up going on tour with Waiting around oh eight, you know what I'm saying, And when I saw him and what he did every night like after the show, as far as recording and just looking at that work has had his work ethic. When I got off tour and went back to fifty five for the trap that we were talking about, I started recording to this day every single night, like I figured out, like this is what you got to do to get what you want or what you want to get. So that's how that happened. But on that record, you also say you wish noble how to drive through, you eat good food. You gotta you're gonna take I haven't been to carbons are you're gonna take me with y'all, y'all you gotta take me now. But that's a that's a flex that hit no whe had to drive. That's that's that's what. That's a that's a that's a that's it. That's one of them. Get thing. Let me get a me so caughd and and and a comedy flywer. And you know what I'm saying, it's your favorite noble you better say mallible. Yeah I can mable is my favorite. Don't say that for some reason. It's like this ship chases different because you're on the water. That's the whole vibe. You got, Katie Kurrik over the area dancing is to the last, you know what I'm saying. Somewhere you like, it's like, it's great just to get a reservation there. You're like, you're looking ill, y'all. That's it. That's a um. You got your own restaurant. You have a couple of them, have for them. They broke in my car in your restaurants. They broken up. But this was like two minutes. I like they like when you see them for I had it all ensure, so it was great. But when you see the for, it was like the grackhead just walked up whenever car was right there our park ship put my bag and it was like it was four other bags. I was like, how did he know my bag? What's the one? He was a professional steeler? Ro Well, I'm gonna be honest, that's that's That's not just my restaurant. That's Atlanta man. Oh yeah, Atlanta Man. I advise you to uber or or paper Ballet. You know what I'm saying. It's just like, you know, man, the door it's called dough locking, and if they get in there and and uh yeah, it's gonna be on the streets for sale, you know, And it's unfortunate, but that's what a lot of the young young guy guys are doing. That's what's going on, right. Okay, So so that's back at it, better back, better back. Okay. Pop music, which is ill because when I'm hearing the radio, it feels like Depth Jam. If you still you still would feels like Depth Jam went with that record, which was interesting. You know what they did. I don't know if they when I'm hearing the radio is just in Miami, but it's that just single. It happened to be man, It's funny. It's like my biggest radio records since I've been doing since I've been really it had like the first week, biggest, nothing like since I've been doing this ship since, so it's like different birthday. Yes, brothers, so I think other people picked it. I know money Back is on the beat King, but not just here in Miami. This ship is like number two in certain places and stuff like. Yeah, bro, so I'm not I don't. Still to this day, I can't say I really no no music. I mean, but I know me of course I know music, but I can't just tell you what do you mean by that? Though? Yeah, I don't know hit. I mean if I hear it, because yeah, if I hear even if it's mine or someone else's, it'll take me, you know. Obviously if it's on the radio spending you think like that, this must be a hit, But like you played a project with ten songs and I like, even if it was mine or yours, I would be like, you know, I don't know which one every because thinking about which one is which one everybody is supposed to like, right, It's supposed to be like other people. Yeah, you know, not just what I like, because what I like I've been wrong too many times like this this is, you know, and my taste is probably different from so do you allow the label to give that input and you because not all artists like that input from the label. No. Well, so I have full creative control. But if I see something that's like going to help, I'm not gonna have any pushback, just just for the sake of being like one of the like for being an artist, like this is what the artists should do. Like let me think about should we go with it? Like everybody wants this record, give it to him. You know what I'm really having, I'm having three hard four hard drives full of music. So it needs to get it needs to find a place to live from me anyway, And I learned that radio and streaming is two different things. You know what I'm saying, two different things, you know, Like, well, you know I'm a part of like you know, I would say some of the older you know artists, So we from you know, I'm from an area where were so fucking se the CD fucking ring tones if you want to get you that. Yeah. So so I do have streams, but I think streams have a has a demographic of a more younger art audience, you know what I'm saying. And so um, I have you know, some streams some good streams or whatever. But you know, I get it. I definitely understand the algorithm. I dit it. Okay, Outstanding featuring Rowdy Ritch, Outstanding, shout out my nigger Slow Actually I got that record from Slow Bucks. Slow Bucks. Yeah, he was working with somebody and he's working and then and some other stuff, and he came to the studio in New York one time and played it. And then I end up having to go to the studio with Roddy Rich and do something for his album, and we end up figuring it out from and it's produced by hit BOYD. And on that song, um, it's called outstanding, and I pop a few I popped my ship on that a little bit too. How about the neighbors know your name? Neighbors know my name? Is it has the lappy tappy sample and it yeah, yeah, it's given Fountain Blue because I talked about being in a suite like these ocean views and leaving the door unlocked for the friend and everything. But it's it's the neighbor. It's that. It's more I think you would say some cliche titty boys ship. When I said the neighbors know my name, they call me ouk. Oh shit, you know what, call you daddy? And she don't even call it that. You didn't call it daddy. That that's deep. That's deep. It's so relatable. Is going in. Yeah, their motherfucker's be saying, uh, I don't even like you know these girls, some of them be like they don't even funk with they folks like that. You know what I'm saying. But yeah, that's crazy. So um And then what's my favorite song with my name? That's the only one I did right that? What's it called Kingpin ghostwriter? What's your problem? So that that name a song? Kingpin ghostwriter? Man? You know you get it. I get it. That's the point to tell the people you get it. Take a little shot. Um, So you got you got there. You always got the rich druid dealers in the neighborhood that don't do music. Maybe on the right eating like North, they don't do music, but they got They are up on the fashion, up on the jury. And you you look at some of the things they're doing and some of the things they're saying. M hm. And you and rappers, this has been going back since l Yeah, you know what I'm saying. You have and you put some of that stuff in your music. So in this song right here, I was saying, it sounds like a Kingpin. I been right fund because of some of the things that I say, I didn't catch that I didn't. Yeah, it sounds like I sound like campaign much. Right if I had a ghost rider, this must be I think it must get a thousand bricks a week. Are a thousand? But you know what I'm saying. You know what I'm saying, Like like because you know what I'm saying, it's just a Nickaxon bag. Man. Man, I'm niggas in my neighborhood used to be kind of fat, a little bit down. You come out come out here. You know what I'm saying. Two three girl names called and I should be like, I won't be fat one day. Things, you know what I'm saying. And they just niggas ain't thinking about music. They weren't even at this time, won't even go in. I'm trying to tell niggas give me something on the music. They're not really like. But yeah, so that's where the idea came from. And they got a little baby on there, and UH sound great on that. Yeah, man, I got your name. Let me just tell you something. I've been rhyming for twenty two years. I think I've rhybed Nori with every other word in the world because of your accent, slight accent. You rom hurry with Nori and make it make sense. Holy ship, I was hating. That's how you know. I went back to your artist. You know, I love don't even rhyme. That got the group. But when I thought about it, when I went back into my artists, I said, there this nig I robbed Nori with every other world like I actually do that. You know, I say my name a lot. I've never go brobb Norria. Motherfucker's that those you know, vocal tone and the way to spit that that was a perfection right there, because I'm like this nigga mom hurry and Norie and it sounds white. Yeah, it's crazy, it's very very architectural. This is this is the next thing. Yes, you know how make up words is the next thing. When Homie said, he said, but that's blood but that family. Oh yeah, yeah, that's too, Deeperse, I didn't know. I thought again, I got this written down, and I thought this was frying this ship deepest hell. What is the different between blood and family? Can't you just damn, I'm going through it literal or means something deeper. I didn't mean to go there. This is where my notes already before you said it. But that's deep blood and family. Blood and how you said it. He said that blood but that family. Damn between twin wall. I'd like to say, I want to meet that nigga one day. This is the way that nigga talk. I just wanted to say, what's up? Nor oh man, let me see, let me see see? How do I how do I touch on this? So I had so my studio got shot up when a lot of things going on in the studio, sir, and my studio got shot up, and h not the other this is this is another whole nother times before you fifty five for the studio got shot up when somebody died, right, yeah, it's a whole another situation. Somebody die. But the same people from the studio felt like somebody new that that was gonna happen. Basically, you know what I'm saying. Somebody knew that that was gonna happen. And I think what the skid is is trying to say is that when somebody is actually like when somebody's a relative of you really like some something blood, and when somebody is like family. M h. That's being stuck between two walls. Because when you grow up, if you've been around somebody so long, like a friend or whatever, so long, you consider them family, You consider them, you consider them a loved one, you know, you call their love one. You you know what I'm saying, might be closer to some of real family. I'm telling you. If you're from the hood, you know what I'm saying. And so that skit is is really just telling a small piece of blood and family, which it seemed like it's all the same thing. What he was trying to say was he was he's cool. Yeah, what he was trying to that's that's what did that clarify something because I thought it could have been like our Chicago homies that would say he's another gang, but he's actually my family that probably sees that could Atlanta we have games now, but like Chicago, Elie, a lot of these places are like they kind of they had that. They've been on that. Yeah, they've been on that for us. Um, first of all, I'm from a neighborhood where it be. It really be your own people. It just no one just comes in and it's really like your homeboy. Really, it's really like you know what I'm saying. And so that skit was just explaining the difference between somebody that's like your descendant of your grandmama and blah blah blah versus you know, somebody you went to school, graduated with, and played ball with, the hustle with and trap with all this, and that's what that was, like some street ship. Okay, million dollars worth a game to dub. Where's your mind? That's another one getting good feedback. So when I went to the Little Baby Studio to get the keypagn ghost right or done? Um, Doug was there, you know what I'm saying. And so we did the song. I did both of them that Little Baby studio. I probably need to go back over there. They got some good vibes over there, but be using each other's studio and all that way. I pulled up on Yeah, I pulled up on him, and you know what I'm saying, and uh, I actually we did that song and then Little Baby put up another song and I went in and did a bird and Little Baby end up like either leaving or taking a nap or something. He ended up leaving or something, and Doug was there and he came in and we end up doing that song together, and uh, you just don't to have both of them. Um, And you said the fan was your hype man. You told fn A, it's a it's a it's a gun. It's a plastic yeah. Yeah, it weighs like less than two pounds, but it shoots. It shoots like rifle bullets. So it's a handgun that shoots rifle bullets. And then they don't even make the plastic ones anymore. I still got a platform. They don't make plastforms anymore. So, um, early on in my and my you know, career, when you can't afford security, you can't afford really a lot of that stuff. You know, you have to kind of protect yourself. So I was really like, I've I've done shows in those small country towns where you gotta perform on top of the bar and everybody looking at you crazy. I definitely had a pistol long, no doubt about it. Little dirt roads going down Mississippi and you know, some little some little you know, some little towns and ship like that. The boy looking like you you know sweet. Now I'm having it why I'm doing my song on me? Yeah, okay, how about free b G Free b G b G. I actually knew b G before I knew Little Wayne. Yeah, people don't know that. I got some footure of him in fifty five forty. You know what I'm trying to kicking it up. I met b G. Actually, I guess when they put them whatever happened with them in Hot Boys and he came to a line and he was just breaking up. Yeah, he ended up coming to Atlanta. You know what I'm saying I was. I was Hot Boys. Is one of the reason why I started rapping anyway, That's one of the reasons. And what I'm saying I was hot Boys. Remember there was two hot boys. There was hot Boys that was on the limit and the hot boys that was on definitely the ones on Cash Cool. Yeah, like it would definitely Wayne, d G. Turk and Juvenile. And on that record you said you bring your own weed on the plane. You don't trust other states, You don't think other niggas got it. I just try not to have that to be trying not to worry about that. You know what I'm saying, That would be another thing to have to worry about. What but the problem in San Francistical this thing you brought your old weed. I remember that. Well that ain't not even that before that, It's just it ain't who wants Yeah, you know and and trust you know, just let y'all know t s. I do not have any weed on that terrible it's by the way, I'm bringing half ounce. He's crazy when I keep it international fight who I got my putting on my medical and crazy. If I was to bring pills and I'm on pills and I'm a medical patient, they can't tell me what the fund is the difference I gotta I have a medical card. I'm ready to argue. Send your ass up through that. You think that ain't the county. That's the reason why I stick with a half hounds and half hounds come on half no real present time they really gonna you know, that's some nig look at that ship like this. Just maybe a day I'll be out. I might might, you know, might be a day and they're gonna be doing like that. I feel you know what's ticking. You know, you know who they don't even check your bags at all. They Yeah, you didn't know that, l A. They it's a rule and it's all legal there. They don't. They don't even the state that's receiving. You don't which one the under the under? Ain't that da? That's crazy. We might not want to put this part. They're gonna be checking everybody. L l A says it know, but l A won't check if you mean getting there or coming from there. They ain't checking. They ain't check, l A. They got the dogs right there. They been trying to scale the dog, the football, the gay. Someone's gonna listen to you and be like, oh, coming from La, the wrong city, the dog, the water, m Tennis, Tim Bursley feat. When Young Boy Never Broke again. Yeah, but I usually have on tin on one hand. Yeah, okay, so but but you know I had lived last night. I'm a little tardy. Yeah, and I want to sleep with a lot of this ship on and took a shower with a lot of this because because you remind me right now, I'm gonna get you stuck. Remember, I'm saying, how are you taking ship with it all that on? Remember nobody remember? Look, I do remember the move, but I think with things. I don't notice that the shoes and ship that was with the shoes, and yeah the gold fishing oh no, yeah, but remember remember the Remember he comes back because the guy died of too much gold change. And remember. So it's I'm saying, that's definitely the millions right there. I mean he's taking a shower with it. It's got to be. I'm not taking the big stuff like this, like this stuff, but like the little little stuff braceless and stuff. Yeah, but yeah, it's it's as I look, I'm definitely in the millions, like currently right now, in this moment, right now, we know we're gonna make some noise, okay, hold on am okay, and then we're gonna get to quick time a slime and then that's where it turns out. Now it's lost Kings, right, it's not last Kings, it's lost Kings, right, put it so you can see it. Are you counting? You? You count your money? Right now? I love this ship. Oh I forgot about it, Lost Kings, Lost Kings, Lost Kings, lost Kings. Yeah, I'm pushing him for sure, well, lost Kings. I speak on some of the ship on my bursting there too, about some studio ship. You know what I'm saying that, Um, the studio feel like a new hood out there. It was you know, it was the ship was going down to the studio. So yeah, yeah, but I break this down the lost Kings, rs Kings, Los King, got Dirky on there. It's just about losing a lot of the young you know, brothers early you know, she ain't kind of deal touches on that, and a lot of senseless I guess killings. It's it's the song on the album where I think has the most you know, substance. I like that. I like to kind of have something to clean on too. I've been getting a lot of great feedback and then I got I got my artists on the Sleepy Rolls on the hook. He did his things. Yeah okay, yeah, he did his thing on there. So he about to drop off project. So I'm trying to, um, you know, make someone else a Meli there too. That's one of my aspirations as well. That's fine, that's fine, that's makes most. But the next song I thought it was Camus, but it came ins Well it's came. It's it's camous it could you drink Camus? No, I'm talking about the came on. Its crocodile. Camen's came in, right, Camans came on, come on, that's his bantage. That's that's what it means. But came ins, Yeah, came in. Came in is the red wine. I was like, but but but but you you always put me down on the wine. Got you know what I'm saying, So, but that ain't that? Ain't that? But but now since we talked about that, we got to you know, you don't have to remix them. You gotta drink some of that Camus. By the way, you gotta put this down. That's that good. I'm screaming the car when I because I've listened to the album and I realized I didn't know the names of the songs. I knew the songs, but I didn't know the names. And when I saw that, I said Camus and I said, oh, drinking came it really is. And then I realized that the came as honest. But it's both, it's both together. For Swili, what made you? What made you want to work with Srali? I'm a fan of Suilia. I think you're really dope. You know what I'm saying Mike, well, my brother, we've been rocking since the Nola days, and he came to my crib and Cali and we knocked that out together. Actually, some of this stuff I was in the studio with some of these guys, so it be you know, a lot of the stuff is literally like digital because we can't be in the same room. But that was one of those things. But we did a couple of records that day in the chemistry was there and I just like what he asked to to to the game and to into my record. Really, you know, it's crazy you said, you said you should never be famous, and bro, yeah, but I said the humble at the end. You heard me, You heard me like not trying to shoot on nobody, but they really try to. I think if you, if you got some type of fame, whether old, knew, whatever, you gotta figure out some kind of place to put that. Well you to what you could get it out? You know what I'm saying to you. You know what I'm saying, how can you use that that right there to like if this show in today? Yeah, all right, we know nor if what you know, if you is there, are you going to fall off? He said his money? You know, what are you gonna is? This? Is this? Seriously? You give? I can kind of kind of motherfucker figure it out? You know, can you figure it out? But it made me think, because do you know how many famous is famous people? Yeah, but you did on your resume that you did this before you Like, I'm what you I'm working on the Jeffersons, whatever you did, But like, how can you but what happens to these guys who's famous but he ain't really working ten years? They can't give back their uniform. So a lot of the black actors from my I don't know if they get a lot of roles to work to work a lot, right example, But that's an example. I'm like, I'm just you know, I'm just looking at black We we all know the same kind of black actors. Denzel we can't we probably can't name. But Willis? How about Willis from different from Different? Like, well, yeah, the young people like what's his name? They're gonna be Willis for the best life. But but man, your mother, you've got lifetime, you got all this, You've got all these little I just I just feel like if you don't try that you want to spec Yeah. I just think now content and movies and streaming is like, especially in that world, you kind of bear to find a a sack, one of the one of the one of them. You know what I'm saying. If you've been on something, I just I just my personal thing, and I could be wrong, and if I'm wrong, I apologize. But I just think even if he was an old rapper or something like this, you gotta be able to maybe going to school and be a professors. No way, Vanilla Ice is not still getting back, kept getting backs just here earlier. He still Man, you gotta figure that you're right. You're absolutely right. Yeah, even if you got to use that to get in like something outside of me. You used to do music. Now you got people putting these little um these BC you know funds that you know what together and you gotta be man, I used to listen to your music. Back what you got going on? Let me put a hunter, let me you can't just be out here. What podcast is helping the retire rapper? The problem is every rapper is doing it, so it's saturated every day that just rappers and everybody's doing everybody. Okay, let me ask you some questions, what's your thoughts on what's your thoughts on everyone doing podcast our sons? No, No, I wouldn't say that. We can't say that for everybody. You got to stand on this, stand on this man, let you go ride. I want everybody to do it. We're gonna do. You know me, I've been getting money. I'm good. But let me clear. When we started this, the only person that was before us was Iced Tea. Know, there was a couple of people. There was Combat Jack. I'm talking about rapper. I'm talking about rapper, Okay, but what we're talking about. I felt like, here's the question was how do you feel? Well? Who's your question? But every respect I think Joe started Joe, but I started a little Joe and then that was that and I would be and a wrapper now but I still think it's really give it. We give it to them. We give it to them, But were all due respect to everybody people that came before us. I'm not gonna lie. This is real talk. That's not me being cocky. This is me being real. We made it open the door. We made it look cool because that was some nerves. Ship bodcasting was nerves looking even my Piers was like podcast ask you questions. They didn't. Yeah, they understand, Like what you was like, nothing got a family. He heard you say that he's ain't a motherfucking nerd podcast heard you say that was some nerve ship. It wasn't clear fan whoever you are, but um, you probably not a nerd. You was probably into whatever you're into. But I'm saying predominantly at that time when he wasn't checking for it, it wasn't was it was a nerd thing. It was like people, Yeah it was because you gotta realize the ills about podcasting is that app is already on your iPhone. It's over, so this device been, It's been around. Podcasting wasn't new car podcast, wasn't it was I'm thinking to check out me. H yeah, sometimes man, that's why we're not to give you that. And this is this is probably and I gave the album so much love. It's probably my least favorite I love for two reasons. The name of the record and then the actually record is. Everyone did their job. Everyone did it. But it felt like, and this is me being honest, it felt like it wasn't needed. Okay, TV. I didn't like the name of bla. Okay, I'm being honest. So maybe I just didn't like it because of the name. Yeah, yeah, I don't know Blad liked it either because it was a skin on there. He ain't cleared. Oh okay, I still you know, I got but the Blad TV came from the hooks saying that, you know, basically the concept of the basically the concept of a song is what's going on. It's one of my favorite on the album actually because it's it's what it's what's going on there. People want you to know they sold gangster so whatever they are too, because they would literally telling themselves. They would literally tell them theirselves. I mean, have you seen that as they getting shot, I'm on the way just like this ship and they got some or you see the nigga that you know that the gun in the video that they got the body on it. That's that, you know. It's just a lot of things on here that you know. We I would say I'm from an area, but I can say that we're from an era where like you said, people thought she was laying from doing the podcast because it's like, man, I found my this is I'm still gonna stay on track. I found my little I found a what's the name of this camera? It's not a goldprom flip camp. My Nigga found like oh seven oh eight, right, and I'm going through my studio fifty four forty and the whole students. Yeah everybody that mother. If I show you know, I got some good flips. But as I didn't know, Yeah, we're in the students, like you know, it ain't even the workout. But Nigga, just like bro, they just know that they're dirty. Nigga's period just like you like you know, and and and and and that's you know. But now like people a bit condition that they don't give a fours. The exact opposite. Man, people going there and they're intentionally intentionally they will disrespect you. Man, you know what I'm saying. Or there, you know, people got you off. The other day, I see my homie. We had nothing to talk about because his old life was on Instagram. Yeah, yeah, I know, you're good, he said. I said, yeah, I like the picture. We had nothing. I'm talking about this. You know, I just got back from Jamaica saw that I actually got mad at somebody about that ship. Man. I have made this major investment into this company, man, and it was taking a long time to like for everything to get going. And you know, I was following a god. He was just posting all these pics of Oh he was feeling like fire festival. It was a real truth. It was a really good investment. But you know, I was just impatient at the time because I was told one thing when I should know. I've been in business a long time. But I man, I called, I say, man, look, don't no disrespect, man. Don't give a funk about American Airline, my nigga man, funk league, private ship. Man, what's up with my mother? Man? I now know your whole family. Man, my man, you don't need to post nothing into this ship. Clear like you know. And I probably was out of control at that moment. I think, and I apologize. Okay now, Boom ended it out. If you want to feature in Jack Quais. He's a very confident young Atlanta R and B single. Yeah, he's from Atlanta, man, and uh, I love to dude. Man, he does his thing, and we did that. I've basually been sitting on that song for over a year now and he had been you know, tell me we need to put it out. But we shot a video for it and everything, and um, that was something else on the album that that wasn't on the rest of it. It was something you know, with some something for the ladies. And I ended with that that that was all Yeah, thank you man, I told you man, you got the album and yeah, I'm standing on I say this, when you around and when you're not around, you're not around, they say sometimes not about what you say in front of the person, it's about how you act when the person is not around. And I stand on that. This whole year. It was like refreshing. It's like as COVID you know, started to lift and people started coming outside. That album was the album I wanted to ride and my new maid back. I said, huh, that's a nice man, but that's the one just when you had Yeah saw that. Okay, you know what the funny ship is? You know, I can't actually think it for no yeasy. I just can't put my fix my face to ask that, right, So everything easy to see people with. I paid the ones you got on that I paid for. I'm not sure this morning hit me looking hit me cage, he said, um, what's your address? I was like, oh, ship, I finally made the easy list, and he was like, because I want to come to the group hang out. I want now he will do that. Yeah, yeah, I just I just can't ask. There's something wrong with me my day. But we went through the album. Now this is time for one of our favorite parts of the show. It's everybody's favorite part of the show. What is it's? No, I don't know. I know it's called quick time. Was slid QuickTime, and it's not quick sometimes it's sometimes it's where's it? This is? It's in the group. You want doing this? When I first came, we factor this ship, nigger, we're done, We're done. Turn it all the way up. Where is it in the group? Chat? And okay, yeah, let me find Yeah, keep me seeing that because I can't find it. I don't know which one. So it's it's a simple game. Boom. This is where the shots come in. It's I'm gonna give you two choices. You could say one or the other, or you could say neither, or if you say both. If you say both, you take a shot. If you say neither, shot is always a shot. But we're gonna give you a choice. So so so let's let's let's let's let me let me start here. You can't tell another part. Yeah, we drink. We don't know. No, let me I didn't tell y'all are very important party. I'm not a drinker, but let me let me. Let me tell you the story. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not a drink. I started drinking maybe four years ago on my restaurant was open. I started like I was getting my red one. They started calling me, damn Neil Woods because I wasn't, you know, drinking. So now I do take like a couple of shots. But just if I just had to stand on it right now, I'm already like, you're good, but we're gonna do a little shots. Don't worry about it. Man, your pants gonna movie. Yeah, you just need those ye yeah, damn. You know you got to know a little. You got any kind of plug, you gotta be able to understand, especially when the plug putting a little a little butter on the phone. I don't know know anyway, you got to be like top of like the first one I'm gonna drink. When you do shot, someone drinks you Jeffy whisky on your menisky. What are you saying? How you said, oh, you can't talk about it. Yeah, I got you know what I'm saying. We don't understande. You don't really you don't really ki about whiskey. But it's okay, I don't know yet. I don't know yet whiskey. Then I need a good whisk wants I need not ship, I need something. I need me a beverage. You know what I'm saying in that. And if you're paying attention, you know what I'm saying. If you're looking this drink champion should be liking, you know what saying. I love what did he got going on? I love what Hope got going on? What Rose they got going on? Ship Tony want to have something going on? Just that's you know what I'm saying. Lincoln the bio. You know I'm saying, read read right, that was all that was? Okay, So I don't like this off topic because I know we're gonna but you're gonna say it though, why not just feel like it's it's it's it's evident we're gonna say on this one Kanye or for around as far as what but I mean, it's whatever, it could be anything you know about Yeah, Okay, I knew that trick daddy or juvenile. I'm Julie, Julie. I think you're gonna have to be careful on this one. B B for Nicky bna uh be Niki littmatic or ready. So it ain't really hard for me because I have records with NICKI and plaques with Nicky. I haven't worked with the hardy B. My producers will make these. Yeah, but I'm saying this is see and it's another thing. It's another thing too. Just go ahead there, ok, foo got too quiet? Listen, listen. It's when we speak up girls. It's very sensitive on this show. So you know it's how quiet I got. I don't, I don't, I don't agree. I disagree with nothing when it comes to the females on the show anymore, because they will call you and cuss your out. I said cuss Yeah, you never said that before. Never boy and downside you never sit there in my life? All right, illmatic or ready to die? Take a shot, take a shot. Take a shot for that. You can't pick, can't you? Man? Man, I was gonna take a shot. Yeah, we'll take just take a shot. But you know, I thought with its real strong, I was a burgo and shot ship. So I need them a little bit of glasses, like y'all. Yeah, yeah, you can do that. Oh that's saving me right right there, all right, And he's sipping his shots. That's a whole different shot for him. Yeah, we sip my no, I that's why I snapping. Gucci your jeezy um take a shot. Yeah, that's smart. That was on the Street Legends Tour. Right yeah we are right now and Ross and Bab and trinm. But you ain't never see like Geez and Gucci just take a shot together one night. Maybe that's the worm word to use. Yeah, terrible, terrible said drink. I'm drinking a little something. Let's just google on. I'm sorry. I didn't mean drink start It wasn't that wasn't that right, dr dre or pump daddy, take this shot? Cool, by the way, it is, hold on to get my deadly on ready drink. It's James Couls. I heard James this puff show this. That's that's my nigg Yeah, I'm gonna puff yes, okay, okay, okay, okay, I'm taking a shot for that. We're gonna take a shot for that. Really on right now, I'm going pup, pup, call your phone too, Yes you will. I don't know. We're gonna go with this one. This might be hard for you Wayne or Drake. Why two chains, boy, Now that's all. Taking a shot for that, I'm gonna take. I'm gonna take a shot for that. That was right old. Yeah, both of them had both of them. You know what I'm gonna say. That's what I was gonna say. Um And even with Drake and Wayne though that Drake nasty Wayne, Wayne actually did I gotta I tell the story of Chines like he did the Dumble Bad Boys hook for free at the time you told us the last time at the time, Yeah, we happened. We had the audience we got so repeat it. Just at the time when they was charging like hunting, like baby was charging hunting even get the way, and then Wayne was charging that same thing to get before you get, you get, you know, and uh man, I'm talking about I came to the neighborhood shot the video. You know what I'm saying. So my loyalty gonna always be there because that literally that you know, change your legs happened, helped change your life. It helped change you know, don't be that one. You know what I'm saying, it not even want would be a whole bunch of things that got to go right. But like that big bang was that that was a crazy joint. H scar Face, ice Cube, scar Face Outcastle, you g k okay Dolf or Nipsey shot were taking the shot to them for them anyway, rest in piece of them both. You know. I had Dolf on here and I told you gotta be careful in your own city. Yeah, I told him that it was crazy. The day I told him that was the day Kings died. That's the reason why I said that to him. French Montana's on board, So I told him that because we had just received news that Chinks died. And I said to him, it's actually for the job. I'll show it to you. Actually creeps me out. It's because, and I'm gonna say this to a lot of you know, but young like I'll be wanting to be a o G to these niggas. It's just that I know how I thought when I was twenty four. I know how I thought when millions like I ain't want to speak to the forty four year old nigga and if you want nigga. You know what I'm saying. Especially they probably think, you know, I'm over the hill or something like that. But I'd be really wanting to give these dudes advice. And when I see a little umm dumb baby. The minute I see the baby, I said, yo, like you know, just in case, like I'm here, just you know, I don't I don't you know what I mean, Like I don't need a feature, I don't need an interview, like just just you know how just you know, I've been through what you've been through. Like he lost his father and had a number one record. I lost my Remember he was actually there for me, that's right, yes, yes, And so I'll be wanting to just give him game. And a lot of the times I'll be scared, so it'd be me too, but it'd be sometimes the young dude's energy. But if you're out there, you're coming up, you're getting money. You want to you know, you want to highlight me. Trust me, I've been doing anything. Yea, I think it's been. Is that your roach? Look at this thig, a roach hold on his roaches coming on. Look at this roaches. I'm said, you don't need that, No, mos look, listen, listen, I know he beat beating snoop right now, he beating snoop snoop. Bad people hold blood as a roach. That's the whole fucking sound. Holy see, let's get do a great time side. Let's happen to my You know what I'm saying. I believe they say. They come in to me, say, you know the waitresses, they smoke your they smoke your roaches when you leave. But by the way, those is not roaches. Yeah, that's a full pill, those those cocker roach's water balls. It was like, I want them, I want them around me, make niggas mad. They were like, what the fund you doing? They were like, bro, that was a whole ship. Okay, teeter kiss a fat boy nasty. Yeah, I don't know, don't know my home. Let me let me go to my home. So look, jade a bad mother cheers, so little cheers. I don't know if I eat, like knowing, I don't know what that song ki come to mind because it's a great fucking song. And me and I game ain't hip all right? Where we act o dB or busines market O d B juice or Boys in the Hood, Boys in the Hood source or xx out you switched that source earlier. We depend on where are you to my double legs right now? I just did they photo shoot Pride to let me be clear, I'm on the cover. I'm about to be on the cover, so let me just going and let them. I think you say a shot for that? Then you know you about to say the sauce, because after we're talking about you. That was the at the beginning of what I'm saying. You remember that, Yeah, yeah, maybe I was outside for that's hard. Yeah, that's hard. I gotta go the warri Pork got four mice and r E got four mis Bro, that's you to kill myself. Bro. You know what that ship meant back then? Yeah, yeah, that's no longer like that was a hip hop bible at the time. Yeah, and then and then and then how that ship depict if you're gonna listen to it or not? And if you go that should even control if you're gonna like it or not. If you got four mikes a better used they put that half, then you'd be pissed that a half. Yeah that's hard. You got fold up. I got four. I got four three times? Yeah, yeah, I got four for God favorite too. Yeah, yeah you can. No, sorry, I got four or four times. I got what union union too? I got four fourts like you know, I mean, I mean I was outside ya you just think a little podcasting. I gladly accepted, gladly sapt being the part how big unsigned hype was many people have signed that. I don't know that. Maybe that was not the right answer. No, I don't did a lot of ship. I just remember them seeing my giggle bites. I don't even like that story I had of a life, yeah, store and stuff. But the truth is we didn't have this set at all. Yeah, yeah, we like a block away right now. It was right the wow wow, okay, okay, that was dope. Okay, wait, will be have the sort you know where we are? Yeah, Biggie or big al Big right your m TV raps or rap City. Oh that's a good one. Now. Once again, I've been around long enough. There's two different errors. Are we talking about bad five, Freddy, m t V DR J Lover and those are both? Are we talking about that? You know what I'm saying. Are we talking about big? Because all we're talking about an't cut And you know what I'm saying, This Betram two different but those cut isn't a part of this, Okay, So we're just saying rap City because youm T wraps or rap City the basement. Let's put it down on the basement with chicken mm hmm. Don't know why that ship came in my head, my older cousins, she's with the MTV ship. That ship, that ship, sticky Buck, Come on that motherfucker. I remember that ship in my head. But we got to have that effects. Probably say rap City just because you know, well, Dungeon Family or will Tang Clan, that's a really good one because I'm a huge Utan fan. But I'm gonna say Dungeon Family because they're from Atlanta. Enrico Rico Wade's a fucking legend. You know. I would like to see that versus That would be crazy. Damn, that would be crazy. We need to do that. That need to make that happen. We need to make that happen. It would be dope. Definitely. I want my publishing. Why would you get publishing? I don't know, just because we do that because I met you. You want to cut, but you need the area, yeah, yeah, do Okay? Blunts of paper, paper all day man, because you can see right here this is probably about the three five I just smoked about. That's paper paper. My paper come you know long like the raw paper like it comes like tissue paper. And you can make it as short as long as you want. And I have a master rolling, and I have they about a master. You don't see what he got about three five and him import for brew for brew, he comes on, I don't want to do that. He had to go beyond holder. Yeah, I don't want to do that, saying when you leave a crib or whatever, you got a year three five, three five with that's a seven, y'all niggas, y'all niggas, that's what y'a nigga is buying the smoke for two three days. And we can tell you just oh we don't got smoke care smoke shot took it off. He almost got a fourteen on you like already you know what I'm saying, just like trying. I'm not like, oh so we just like but I don't you know, I ain't trying to like show out for nobody. This is just my personal hell, yeah, I like me personally. Look at that. That's what I smoke I'm look look at that that that that was four when he came in. You know, let me personally, you know, there ain't nothing wrong. That's cute, ju. That's ill talking about the whole day all three. You know, he said, that's a cute. Bunet relaxed. I gotta relax performing or recording. Take a shot. I was expect love for them. Really, I'll be on stage praying, I'll be looking up a girl, I'll be saying thank you man. And then I'd be in the studio and I'd be like, damn, I'd be so excited to go to the studio because I don't know what I'm about to say next. I'd be surprising myself. Take the shot. Yeah, but I seemed to I felt like I was there your album at least party you pulled up in the truck. You felt like it was a yeah. Because I was watching I forget who I was watching. I don't know death Jams account. I was watching it and they live streamed it. I want to say something that's gonna sound crazy, but it felt like you were freak like. I don't know if that makes sense, because it just felt like you you was dead. What the funk you wanted to do, like like like it was felt like this is you. You finally at the level where you're doing whatever the funk you wanna do, when you want to do it, and how you want to do it. Like and I'm saying, I'm seeing this through the screen, like I've seen this two people Instagram. My people were at depth jammers obviously there and I looked and I've seen you perform yet the all black showed up with white people, the struck when you got on stage, and your energy and your posture and everything, it felt like you finally did everything you did up until this point made sense. Am I making sense? Yes, I'm I'm at a point in my life. Well, I'm very happy. I am not consumed with any pressure at all from anything. I am closing on another house in California to congratulations. I invested a quarter million into a company this morning before I even brush my teeth. I'm in a spot now where I'm in like a little would say, like a little group where I'm just I've been um. I've been praying to be less selfish because I'm my only child naturally, so a lot of the resources and a lot of the things that I had, I kind of held on it. Yeah, even like this may sound crazy, but to this day, I still like hadn't gave my plug away, like I might need the nigga one day. It's just like no, like like come on giving them. It's not happy about that. I just you know. So I was like I really had to be like, you know, you know, please like you know what I mean. So I'm trying to like help people. So what I've been doing about like resources, I get a lot of opportunities to invest in a lot of I can't get one. Just said, no, that's that's that's something you still got you and not perfect, you know, you know, like bro, no much perfect yet you know what I'm saying. We still like, oh ship working, still working. I'm still working on myself. But yeah, what the F I was saying, That's what I think. And I don't know if you could agree. I think you will agree. I know you don't quite remember when we had you on drink chains before, but there is a difference in you. I could I could see like like a higher vibe that you you're on right now that you got you got the um I said to me. The best thing yea, you ever did for me, and you know you probably have something different. It was he just showed me his freedom. I didn't. They could just do whatever the fun he want to do when you want to do it, and like that fast, like like literally he wanted to come to the crib, broke to the juice ball. That's my white dude bar right there. That's not my juice ball, it's my wife juice ball. I've been so happy, you know what shout. So he came to the juice ball and then you want to go eat some lunch and we just go eat lunch. And it's like the crazy ship is as as as simple as you think that is. Do you know how hard that is to just do that with someone else? So what I say is that's what he taught me. It's just having freedom. And when I've seen you that night before me even being taught that by yeah, I've seen that in you, like you just was like you. You went to the city because it was in Atlanta at your party and you performed and it just felt like fl like it felt like youth. You finally felt like I'm here, this is sick, this is it. I'm I'm not duck king of the city. I'm a king in the city for the other kings, but I'm I'm definitely a king. I'm on a ladder mountain rush Ball. I'm asking did you feel like that that night, before that night, that night in before that. Yeah? Yeah, Man, I've been very fortunate. I've been very blessed. I've lived and recreated and redesigned myself many times. Man, I've met a lot of people along the way, inside the music industry and outside the music industry, and I don't take anything for granted. It's just so many things that that's what it is. Go ahead, now, I was gonna say, like, it seems like people reach a certain level and they they acquire humble confidence. Yeah. No, I'm super duper confident, and I don't believe in the glass ceiler. I don't believe I'm even at a certain apex yet, because you know, one record for a nigger like me ain't gonna do thating, but like it gasoline to the flames that I already had, but not like my flame hadn't died at all. You know what I'm saying. I'm I'm probably this year a long. I've probably done over twenty shows. I don't even know if we're in March yet, you know what I'm saying, probably at least fifteen shows. So I'm still someone that promoters think about when they're trying to get people in the building and also to do, you know, some some entertainment. So I don't take anything for granted. I love what I do. I try not to complain. God to get mad at me. If I complain, I ain't got time. Ain't nobody gonna carry anyway, trying not to crowd with nothing I can't control. I try to make sure my wife happy. I try to make sure my kids happy. I try to make sure my mom happy. Everybody else can kind of like take the wing, and I try to take care of them too. Like that, God damn makes some noise to that. That live resident is hit me right now, the only smoke half of that ship. You know what I'm saying. You gotta do all that, y'all. We can put all the type of a I got that he couldn't that of RESI here. I ain't gonna lie. Ain't nothing wrongna lie right, Ain't that's something good? Stonership like this right here? Yeah, damn horse soldier you know how a good girl, no confidence, you know, good boy. Yeah, they're gonna let you know the woman. He can't w garden that motherfucker. We're gonna are you ready, I'm with your fan cold act black, a little baby cat that back, a little baby both. I like both of them. That's all right. Hold on, you got a ball. You can't cheat. You drink chance fan because it's a nigga Olkahoma Braska say he didn't have nothing on the brake. You know, you know I touched Chilli. I'm chilly. I'm gonna protect to you and your fans because much that okay, man, that ship is gonna go viral. Yeah, exactly exactly coming on, you know, you know, yeah, I don't think a streak too much. Hey man, we made it. I can't. I'm trying. Don't try smoke smoke. We got smoke chances, Yes, we got smoke changing. I'm doing smoke champ So you don't know, whole another show. It's a whole show. Another show. Yeah, pick up to the smoke chances. Really do take bad what that he'll kill they're paying that motherfucker. They passed my and you getting loose. I'm like I like it, and you're getting a little smam you outside. Man, cool, let's do that. I'll look a look at my look at y'all. That's okay, I'll come on. That's a loute man. Let'm still watching you like you watching me. It doesn't it doesn't mean nothing unless you you gotta drink it. Yeah, okay, I know, but mm hmm, I gotta watch you cook. Okay, I was trying to not do that. We do that eye contact. I ain't okay, you're ready, okay, Ross or Fat Joe Rose, Magic City or Onyx, Magic Radio or podcasts? Huh radio? Fright? Which one is the best? Which one I listened to? Which one? How do you compare them? I don't know. Partcast don't even play music, though we can if we want, we do what the funk we want? Alright, No podcast, They gave me what you gave me. You know, I got you look at home as when you tell me, there's no way I would have against that, Okay. I found That's how I felt that that puppy was looking like that when he hit me. But this looking like okay, case you described you know that for the for the people, because he makes he makes one million since since If you are to kill a drinker and you out there drinking the killer, you're drinking cosa Zoo, you drinking cos of me gooes, you drinking nineteen forty two and that two ain't never trying to be up all up in your videos. He he didn't get you juicy, He didn't get you ready to die. He didn't. He didn't know what I mean. I've been working with this though. He know, don't. He used to send me cases to it because you were to kill a drinker when you when you casually drink, I don't drink period. I drink just to be real, I drink water. I used to drink leaning a lot, but I don't stop. Last time he was here, he was drinking lean. That had to be a long time. It's a long time, yea. So then like four years ago there, so okay, and then so um yeah. So then so this is what happened. I was trying to So I went out with stop. You know what I'm saying. Yeah, and he was yeah, and he was putting me down on the red wine right right, putting me down, you know what I'm saying. So I started going to different different places trying red wine. That was my thing wine. I was just trying to bleed peno at first, and I started trying. There's certain penos that is very very expensive, but most of the very very expensive wines is racked. Yeah yeah, so yeah, So I mean, I'm just you know, at this particular time for years go learning. You know, I'm trying to get on the reds and expensive ship. Now this is doing that. Sorry, and um and Lebron drinks like good red ones and stuff. So I'm just trying to be a part of a good red wine drinking. I'm saying, trying to be down. And so you know, I got this restaurant, and you know what I got my restaurant, I'm like, make sure we got red one for when I come up in the building. You know what I'm saying. But you gotta have expensive rede. You just can't have can do Jackson? M My name gotta be Kendall. Just seeing the label of my Hey man, it's not the good one. Oh can't have that? Ms the boss. Yeah yeah. And so then after like a year anniversary, my partner, um, she she was like, man, what do you you need to take a shot. So after about three shots. You know what I'm saying. This is my own restaurant, So you know what I'm saying. You know, she she, she might get a bottle, you know, order and ship. You know what I'm saying. And I don't drink, so I wasn't doing it, but I'm like, this is my fucking restaurant. So I started telling them bring me a bat out. You know what I'm saying. Ship, You know what I mean. Who You know what I'm saying. So now yeah I do too. Yeah, my little big face and everything, tony face. You know what I'm saying. They come in, you know what I'm saying. And so that ship end up turned into this habit that I have. It's been about four years, but I still don't drinking. Um. You know the thing is when you get booked, you get bottles. And then that's how this ship happened really here, because I wouldn't be at home just like trying to drink it like that if I wasn't on drinks. Yeah, what's good with them? They got you gotta what's good? What's trying to get it? Trying to get a man Listen, sometimes you just got man lit creedy. Make me feel rich man like. It's just sometimes it's just you know, I'm I'm I'm gonna be honest. I'm a bund nigga. Need to come on with it. I can you know what's going on. To know what's going on, y'all need to come on in. And I said, y'all name you know what I mean. We didn't have to put this three times. I don't said y'all name team times. I'm gonna need something kind of man, I gotta probably bought thirty at the crib and at the studio and everywhere. I just got it. I'm a barn hoarder that should probably be don't evaporated. I'll begin so many bars of that ship. But y'all need to come on in because he it's the only real fragrance that you can mix together. So they could be trying to get the recipe the sauce, but I'm not. You can't get because I'm going different bottom with a different you know what I mean. You know what I mean, I'm going. You know what I'm saying. If you know, if you if you know, you know, I'm gonna play us, so I know stuff like that's my one do I want do you have you have that's not a snitch sneeze or something. Guys have mixed cream with it. Ja Vinci thought once, yeah, and what you got out of that sneeze? And it's coffee? And it didn't this problems. I tried it. I tried all right, cool on, let's get this get out a quick time and slam No. I thought it was quick like a long time last time. It's not at all. It's a long time. Was like, it's how you know? Ship up? I can't taping my own goal typing your coat on camera? Looking at it, right man, look at it right man? How we started this ship? We started this ship? Dude? We were just crazy. We were just breaking sober. We were sober. Here we start, that's how we do it, So start sober. And we did. We get pulled over? Who don't put that in the air, said, I mean, well he ain't driving. D don't get no fun when you get pulled over. Exactly. Okay, now this one, I don't know. We're gonna go with this big sean or push your teeth. Oh that's a good. Oh yeah, that's good. Taking a shot both, yeah, taking the shot. Yeah, we're taking the shot. Come on, put wipe and juice, and so we're gonna let you put your own shot. You can put your own shot. Oh that's how you really do it. See that's how, Yes, my dad got there. Come on. Yeah, this is absolutely the last question for Quick Time and Slim except the last one after that. No, I'll tell you this. It's a simple loyalty or respect? You're going to hell? Which one of my big what kind of questions? I'm like, whatever you want whatever, it's there's no cross either or a boat. Do I want lords or do I want respect? Is that what you ask? Or do you want both? What do you or do you have to have both? Well, obviously you want to have both, because you're sounding like you wrote that damn question. Yeah, yeah, like motherfucker right, Yeah, what's what you? What's you? What's your question? Sir? You go by the way you can tell about he's acting, he's sold cocaine, he's an old, he's the plus or done, so that ACTI is different. That's the soul. Yeah, you never had breath, said you've seen a break? No he no cheek or no chico no no, no, no brick smoke, uh construction. That's how I meant one of my flugs, like the car was said that thing? U he went to construction and to construction. Guess what I tell the man, I'm in the line work. We should we should? Okay, I'm into construction. You know that. You know bricks? You know what I said. I was like looking at my car set. So yeah, anyway, but that's that was I had a flashback when I heard your accent. Yah, you got your drug dealing flashbacks? Hey PTSD. Yeah, I remember I had one of my friends like mad at me too because he never had a plug. And I ain't think how unfortunately was never I was? Was he always some mit mital? No, No, he was not. And you gotta think how rare this is? Like you now see, I see people might got to confuse because you're burning weed from this nigga. Don't mean he' the plug? You know that right? It might be two niggas and you might be the third, the hunter. You might you know what I'm saying, like to have a direct sock it like a lot of people don't get that. And now so blessed as an individual. Even when I was in the streets, I've had two different clubs before cocaine before you had before you was no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no those none of those names should be even together. No no, listen. One of my clubs, one of my clubs was was was weird because I'm not I wasn't I and half a lot of bricks I had that wasn't my thing. Yeah yeah, but he again he wanted to be the plug, but I met. So what happened in my neighborhood. A lot of the uh plugs or whatever, they started snitching on the on the brothers and ship and ship yeah bro, that set up. They started like, you know, because I guess they get got jammed up. They started like talking crazy being you know, so we was basically trying to rob rob all the plugs and ship, you know what I mean, Because they had set up a few of the homeboys, so I know, like I know one of my I know, one of my homeboys came to me one day and said we might have to might have to move studios. And I was like why He was like, man, we finished you know, take this nig off. We feel like he trying to you know what I mean. And so that was one incident, and then there was another incident where um my partner left from seeing the plug and got pulled over shortly after he was locked up for like twel or thirteen years after that. So it was a situation where it felt like it was a disconnection. With that it kind of goes together. Yeah, yeah, I never answered because I guess if you ain't got no lord to you don't respect the nigga, And if you don't respect the nigga, you won't be lord tom. So I guess this boat that's the thank you, thank you. I mean, listen, listen, it's bo that's that's a trick question to think about that. I did all that talking just to answer that question. That just makes a noise of that. This ship, guys makes some noise for that. I don't think a drink too much, No, man, I saw a good shot on here, Like, yeah, she's not the right thing to do that. Man, I'm starting to feel like I'm sure you guys can do this. Every day we're talking about are you drinking drinking? You care? I got drinking root, But I'm like, so gonna connect the whole time. M No, but that was crazy. You don't understand we had. We had Kanye saying right when you were sitting there, and it's Halloween, so it's he said it's Halloween. It was it was after Hollow, after Halloween. Excuse me up? So I said, yoke, so um, you know big Sean and he gets up and he gets up and he grabs he saying getting quick time and slid saying game. I was thrown off to James. I was like, because I thought, you think it's in good music at the Beautiful House. I realized it's not really like that. I don't know. I love Sean, I love Yeah, I love push them. I fought with Cutty. Everybody else is a part of you know, my journe anyway, you know what I'm saying, be really getting you a boy trying really man? I don't yeh, I don't know. Some things are more serious to people than than did you know what I'm saying. I think some of the things that I've maybe went through before my music career condition for me to have a little bit more thicker skin. If artists don't want to answer my text or fucking do a song from me, or you don't take a person yet, I got to Yeah, I can't like put up a caption or whatever, you know what I mean, just not I just man, I just try to take pride in like just having an understanding this Sometimes it's just you know what I mean, like not just taking it no wrong way and and like and and I'll be you know a lot of artists that I see my own bee want them to be uncomfortable down on you know what I'm saying, because really, man, it's just supposed to be real like fun. We're getting million like you know, man, I don't think nobody should really like man if it happens, but we should somebody really be like dying about the ship or even going to jail about the ship, because really Nick ain't really trapping for real, Nick ain't really you know what I'm saying, Nigga runs, I'm I'm buying a pound to smoke out of. So I'm really like not bothering nobody, you know what I mean. So I just look at where I am in life is being in a space where it shouldn't be you know, it should be limited stress. I think the stress should come from just so many people won't handouts. That's maybe the biggest stress. But like being stressed out because of a nigga said something feel some type of way. I try not to be consumed with that, But how can that mentality be passed on to young cats doing it that a beef and have problems that you got young you got so young cats, right, so you know you got young cats. You got the pride first thing, right, you got the pride, right, That's that's real, big and our community pride and not losing the fight, you know what I'm saying, That's that's real and our community like no, not not losing the fight, like because everything now is everything now it's published like any fight that you everything for the rest of your life. So really taking the al is really not an option. It's not just that days. It's not an option taking al. So you got you got some young brothers that are that are really thought through away, really just like based on pride. And I told the reason I couldn't talk to somebody like that because I'm from an area and maybe do if they're doing this in New York with like Neigo are really like shoot you about stepping on their shoes if you didn't wipe it off, like I'm from Like, like you know what I'm saying, like, yeah, so it's like it's just like Gator ring days. You're you're a young kid, and like somebody's step on, somebody's shooting, the whole fight breakout. So you got to think about the person that's in jail and did something somebody because of this incident, you know what I mean. And so I think, um, you say it's equivalent to that, but now you speed up now and it's just like I want to say, it's that minor is stepping on the shoot, But is it that serious because some of the stuff going on, I don't know where it coming from. You know what I'm saying. It's really and I try not to even I don't really I don't follow shade room or nothing like that. You know what I'm saying. That's just not nothing I cared to even care about. Nothing against them. They're doing what they gotta do, But I don't follow that. I don't follow a mess. I don't give a funk about who go with who, You know what I'm saying. I don't give a funk about none of really, none of those things, you know what I'm saying. And it's cool to be in a relationship I have my own family, you know what I'm saying. So I'm married, Yeah, yeah, I try to just like being married's gangster? Am I trying to change your subject? But let me as you finish. Yeah yeah, yeah, I'm definitely married, so um yeah. But besides even the marriage thing, just like being consumed with other people's relationships cool. I think reality TV kind of bled over to the music industry because it's kind of the same. You know what I'm saying, people, what's conditional? Just watch somebody with social media, alcohol on you or somethingh it, you know what I'm saying. That's what kind of like social media is sometimes to me, and I'm on it. I ain't. I can't say I'm like not looking on ir G. But it's different if you come from a different generation, you you look at that as tools like social media, and if you grow up with it, it's different. Mentality. I'm entertained by like when when when when somebody do something crazy like man broke that ship, I'll be I'll be entertained. But it ain't like too good, too old for that ship. I'll be entertained by I see it a player put off some money, jump on the jet had that ship on. I love, I really love all of that ship, but I'm just not I'm not about to How can I say this, I'm not about to play myself off the streets. That's the best way to put it. I'm not gonna play myself off the streets by trying to prove to I listened to my mom and my wife that I got the stand on something and spend something I'm not gonna do. Really, I don't even really need to do that, And so I try not to get involved in beach because while I'm get involved, imagine taking somebody a side in beach, right, and then they end up being friends and and you look crazy and then you can't even really Then they be friends, they go to each other's house, and then is you're gonna go you're round with brother brother house? What you're gonna do? You're standing with bro? Many go they don't make it up? You know. Let's saying I see that so much like Bro. I wish that I can't even you know what I'm saying. So I try to just like not even I really try to be on the bubble when it come of that fucking fire right there. Now, let's get to y'all tear versus you on Ross, this is like the pandemic. It was a pandemic everywhere else but Atlanta. But y'all stay wide open Miami too. He was wide open during that time. Two months Miami shut down. Two months Miami s then then then then they looked at Atlanta. I said, because they don't even shut down a little bit, but you want Ross. It's a part of the verses where Ross said you in Miami and you have to remind them we're in Atlanta. Do you remember that? Because I hear you don't remember a lot of Do you remember that? Yeah? So, um, what what did you? What did you think about your verses? And would you do another verses? I would love to do another verses? They turned up now. I think earlier on versus was trying to feel each other out because it started off with producers, and then it started out with people just playing music, and then people will perform, perform certain songs, and now people do shows. So I think we all saw versus grow from like Swissdom, what what song did you produce? And even that's where I started with producers playing the beats of songs they produced, and then artists like let me cap in, we you know and and n It felt good for like artists to um get the It felt like you getting your flowers then because you will see people tune in and and have comments on your peers or whatever, had comments on whatever was going on. But yeah, I enjoyed it. I got a lot of respect for a big boy. We've known each other a long time and I think we both were just kind of playing it, playing on the fifty. But if you would do it versus again, who would you want? Who would you Who would you think? I want to do Wayne, Wayne, I definitely want to do. Wayne would need to do like honestly, Wayne would have to do y'all. Playing Big Sean would be who said that? M against Big Sean, Me against Mitchell be interesting. We got different types of music, but we maybe came in and run the same time. Somebody said, ludicrous this, that's I came in the game. You put me in again? Come on, I think that's worthy. I don't think it's right. I don't think that's a match up. Cute Wait t I p tip Q tip yeah man say que tip yeah yeah, yeah, he's no boating up both of them. My real brother too. I was working on music with Q tip Man has so many final at the crib and then you know Tip from Atlanta, um, but Tip Tip is from an earlier era two I would see. I would look at Tip and maybe Luda or something like that, because that's an arable. I don't think said Tip before Luda. You know, I'm saying they were in an arab that was before me. I remember, you mean them two together. I was signed to Luda when Tip and Luda were like at the top of the game. But you're saying them doing the verses together. I would okay, okay, I got it. I got it, I got it, I got it. Yeah, I'm just if I just you know, just no, I got twenty. So that's the my my even my thing with what ross was that I was gonna play twenty plaques. Yeah I do, I got So. Who else was the first people to bring out strippers too? Brother? Would I would be the first one to do. I would be the soldier boy of bringing out strippers on on on a versus now. Now Bro brought out the massage like the massus now that was playing, but I brought out the strippers and did this take place, this place in his creer. No, it should have been because he got a really nice home, but it was. It was at the studio. The studio because they started remember versus was like, come on, it was faced on the ball, it was on the phone. And then they started having Yeah, they started having Teddy Roley he is internet connection, said we gotta be the man. But let's be clear there. I stop on them when they got they came to be any man at who killer? When they came together and the police came dome down and said, you wanted to be the What did they say? He said, you'll wanted to be that. They want to be any guy and then they said, oh ship putting them together in the same rule. That's yeah. The chemistry you're not gonna get. Let's give it to the Rosters. The Rosters invented. He said, you want up and then Swiss and Tim said they got to be in the same room. Yeah, it started to change. It used to be in two different places, used to be on the phone. But it's involved. Let's be clear. I never wanted dream and what's my other man? Was the only name? Sean They up will be in the same room. The energy was not right. They both from Atlanta, both both from Atlanta. You haven't been in Atlanta too, It'd be it'd be that up competitive competition or whatever. I don't know what they call it, because I had no idea. Dude, James isn't watching this ship These things just taking real shots. I was watching, you watched it. I was dying, like nigga. You know, I wrote this room. I wrote this Beyonce too. They're going back and forth. They've been having something like yeah, but when you start having them kind of like Beyonce, pick your rookie, you kind of you can. You can. You can pop your ship a little bit. You can pop your ship a little bit, because that's that's that's what's gonna complete your career. Not Beyont, but that whole feature, man, is that? That is that? Where you do you get that you throw on your jersey at the top of the hawks arenas in we got a hold the nephew right here, he's in here. We're gonna what do you think you've been the rock brunches in all type of I don't see how that doesn't happen. Yeah, I mean, you know, I would love for it to happen, but I can't, you know, let my jersey, uh my jersey retirement and let let that be based on you knowing. But of course I would love it. He's one of my favorite um M c used to do it, still doing it. Um And I've asked him a couple of times. You know what I'm saying. Yeah, stopped asking for interviews. Yeah, I just work around it. Yeah, yeah, work around I think you know, I mean not think, but somebody of his caliber, he just do what he wants when he wants to, So you can't. I don't think a certain time you asked can be be done. I know, like me, I'm nowhere near what he is. Don't and I don't want of those people that I just do what I want to like when I want you So I know he I mean, he got a right to do that. You know what I'm saying. I just it'll be, It'll be, It'll be cool. Besides, what's your ultimate feature that you would like to get? Dr Drake? Besides whole producer worked with Dre's not out. I don't know, but he produced so you wrote and it was for him. I went to Dre crib yeah, and he said right here, and I was rapping right here, and it was a little funny because I was getting I was getting a little frustrated because you know, like I don't know I'm country or what. I don't know, I having whatever, you know, but I'm from Atlanta. I'm not from like at this time, I told him, you know, like, look, you know, I'm not like a white boy from Detroit like I fucking have like I'm you know, yeah, because he's stopped me like no, you know, like you no, like you know, but you know, I'm trying to rap and he's like, you know, he's a perfectionist and the reason he's sucking who he is, you know what I'm saying. So I got that after, you know, the first I was I'm somebody that can probably do two. I know I can't. I do two or three songs at night. I can do two or three, but with him, it will probably take, you know, months to do that because of the process of just getting one verse down and making sure you annunciate things and make sure it's clear and you open, you know, and I'm just like, you know, I'm like this, like, yeah, I'm from I'm from I'm from you at this time, You're coming up or you oper ready just like the other day now, just like last year year. Yeah, man man man man man dry and we have a good report report. You know what I'm saying. I'm just you know, I've been on there a few time. I'm not just like you know, he go dre taking selfies and them. But I went over there and I learned a lot really from him. I learned a lot from him and just like doing like I said, just you know, in today's climbing, you don't have to like go line for line, you don't. You know. He's just a perfectionist on how he does things. And so I think my accent and my annunciation was like yeah, so he would be like you know and you know, hoping, you know, he was just trying to tell me, like you know, and I was like it was I was really like receptive to it. So I wasn't like bucking or nothing. But I did say, like, you know, let me just clear this up. You know, I'm from Atlanta, you know, like I'm not gonna signd like damn bro that you've been working yeah respective way, yeah you know, but yeah, that's that's what it was. But it's a holy I'm trying to get uh but you finished the track trying to get him on something too. Yeah, I finished the track a little dre produced. Yeah yeah, so it's on him to put it out. Drake actually works every day, which is you won't won't believe, like I'm talking about records a song like every day bro like it's a and likes the song that should be out like goods, Like I went over there before, like he'd be like pull this up and but he did this today like and it's like but you know, you know he just that just shows you the level of passion that he is. That so my Uhri said, you are the first person to be seen dancing with Nicki Minaj without dancing with with Nicki Mina. Yeah, I have no idea what this means. Can you swing that um on be on the track video? I'm just dancing behind Nicki Mina because I didn't hunch on, I guess, so, you know whatever, it was just I don't know, of course, at a level of respect or whatever, but that's all it was. I think that's what you're talking about. It. I think TikTok made like something you know, off of us something like that. But you know, she's like my sister always have been. So it's big up thick. Nash just did a joke by an interview, a big up heart and Joe butten we did that. We not hate this out here mangratulating how we needed that dream Chata heard a little undertone and a little you don't want to you want you you don't want to sit right here, and of course we do. But I also gonna respect everything. You don't know someth I'm saying to me, I ain't hate that at all. I'm congratulating, but just how you said, you know what I'm saying. You know she did you know, Joe Bunt and you know, just to everything a body language. You definitely over looking that you super honestly when I seen it, um obviously because they didn't have no clips out and in this interview they should have had clips if you but you you had clips. I judgment now, I just like I just felt like I was like, Okay, that's dope. To me, that was dope. That was dope because last week she mentioned drink chance. If you remember, she missed drin so you know at this missing drink Champs and didn't go do the joke. But no, I think he's trying to be trying to buy he's doing a good when when you're ready to do a podcast, you come on, you just signed a drink Champs in the table videos and all that, um. But yeah, but picked them up. Man, That's that's what I was trying to see. Okay, yeah, cool, because we're gonna take one more shot. But did you know? Did you know the birthday song was gonna be an anthem like that? I surely did? I know him different? What's gonna blow up? I know I'm different? Yeah, my whole first album, So you do know you said you don't know at this time right here before I this is my first plaque. No Lie was my first plague. I'm different with my second plague. So yeah, yeah, so that was from Drake. Like so, I listened to that song twice and then I didn't listen to it no more until we got to the video shoot to them. Now, I had to like remember my words because I knew it was a hit. You said, you said, no Lie, you don't remember your verses to know. I mean, I done a record with the biggest artist. Listen to me me wrong, Listen I said. When I got the song back from Drake, I listened to it twice. I said this, this, this is a hit. So instead of going to the studio like a lot of artists do and just playing this song for two months straight, I didn't listen to it again. I started working on other records because I said, in my mind it felt like the little same thing, um what you gotta hit um once you got to hit there saying it starts and it's just a matter of time for the same runs out, and that's up to the artists to be able to turn that over the capitalized yet to have another record, you know what I'm saying. So if you feel like and and at this time, like I knew no lot was like I let like three people here. I remember it was on like my iPad and I would be like, hey, yeah, I closed that bug down and just be like I'm I'm saying this bit out of here. But then, you know, like I would go to the studio and be like, I mean I do it that, and I'd be like pull up, you know, And then that's how all the records on the album came, like I'm Derving and Birthday Song and all this other songs because I'm already knowing what this is. So I'm working on first. Yeah, no guys working first record. I saw Drake at the Allstar Game, but I knew Drake from it early in the interview talked about going on tour with with Wayne and all of that stuff, so he was out there. I met him on tour then like oh eight or something, so I know him early on, and when I started getting a little buzz, he said, let's do one and the first thing I want. Some of the first things I bought when I started getting I had some money from the bags, and then I started getting show money, like around the Chilling circuit. I started getting people don't know about the chilling Yeah. I started getting like, man, you can be a million. I started getting like my show for like twelve thousand at this time, and I was doing three four shows a week. You know what I'm saying, And I'm doing like I'm doing. This is when you got right around, I'm getting yeah this right, hell yeah, you don't even perform that yetting people don't leave that. Yeah that Someone of the first things I bought was a bust with a studio on it because I saw I ain't had this on tour. So I had had grounded up like a little bit over not quite half a million, a little bit over four hundred. I saw a tour bus. At this time. I wasn't um a quick my mind and understand purchases, buying some versus putting money down and paying on it, because just our mindset is that that we're supposed to just buy everything we wanted, so we're out right. So at this time I found the bus for abruptly around three hundred thousand, but it had a student on it. So but I'm seeing my calendar that I'm having shows. I'm about to get this money back. So I bought a tour bus that got a studio on it. And so I saw Drake at the All Star Game and he was like, you know, send me something. I said, boy, I got it already, but I really was lying and what I'm saying I really didn't have anything. And I go back to the bus and that this at this time, I engineer, his name was Jack. I was like, bro, we gotta find something. This naked drink he on the fire. He's been on fire for twenty years. I was like, man, he on fire. I got it um. So I'm going through these beats. I go to this Mike wheel fold and we pull up this Mike will beat and I'm just like, man, I feel like he can lie sing on this part. In my mind, I'm just imagining what I think Drake could be. So I do a verse and I sent it to him, and while I went on his hook to come back, I do like another verse because I'm just so ain't seen ship, just like and when you send it, I put it back together and I put it together and I just I knew that what that was, you know what I'm saying when I first heard, and that's how that came about. But it was off that investment with that bus that made me like I did the record that, you know what I mean, because I actually told him I had a record that wasn't even created at the time. He just made that mother for made that motherfuckeries Papa Cheese and then the birthday songs. That's I think that's how we got all right. So that's another thing. South By Southwest I do south By Southwest and at this time, you know, I'm good music. So yeah and Sean together they come to see me in south By Southwest. I got my bus outside my bus, got a stove, and I got a shelf at the time, because once again I saw wa ain't with a chelf and kicking this ship. So I need a shelf as well. I gotta chelf. And plus I'm eating differently. I don't be working with the fast food like that. So I got the chef cooking. I'm on stage. I bring yea Sean. We kick it. He wants to come back and hear my album. So I come on the bus and I play songs on the bus that I feel like sounds like some yeah ship, which is not the thing to do because he don't want to get on those ships like this, right, And so I'm playing some ship and he like, you know, let me hear some most ship, and I um, I'm like, man, you know, I'm thinking birthday song. It's the last thing that a nigga like Kanye West want to get on. I just don't think that this is gonna even you know. So I played this song. He said, beautiful story, you know. I said, you know, I played this song, and you know, the chef is serving us food and I played this song and he says, you know, man, this is the one. I want to get on this one, you know, like I gotta you know, I got me a big booty. I got me one, you know what I'm saying, or whatever you dig and uh this thing and I want to get on a rund song, like damn, this is one, you know what I mean. And Sunny Digital had had produced it, you know what I'm saying, Atlanta producing, And I was like, man, I told son, I told a few people, I'm like that, you know what I'm saying. I gave it to Yate and he, you know, he added some elements to it that that wasn't there. He changed, but you know, he made it. He made it better even did the whole video was his his his, like the video was another crazy y thing. Well it was just one tape that it never stopped. The whole video was like if you look at birthday song video, I literally had to run from I had to run, man. This ship was the most tiresome video. When the video literally it says action and the camera never stops. It's never added. So when when when it gets to the end of the house, at the back of the house, I literally I'm running around the house and I just looked like I'm dancing, but it probably fucking I don't know what the funk I was doing, but it was one of the most u creative yet tires and videos because it was just so many moving parts and so it's always good to do ship with bro. But that's how that happened. It was south By Southwest once again shout out to my bust with the studio on it because by being there, I was able to play the ship for him. So that's worked out. Yeah, I definitely did. So. You also used to have when I did tie out video with you, I had a video you did yeah, and you you also had the toll bus pulled and you pulled it in with the bulls voice. Then you had then I think you pulled up in the may back separate. Yeah, So what happened was I always wanted the mate back because I had saw Jay and uh J and uh Yea and who else had mate backs back in the day. I ain't a lot of qun had one early two NI said, and maybe tune right. So when I got my money, started getting some money. So when I got my money right, the Rose Royce uh found them was cheaper than the may back right, Yeah, because I got the sixty two may Back with the partition, I got the the older mark. I got that motherfucker, you know what I'm saying. And so you know when you can't get you know, so I got the roles, you know what I'm saying. So I got the roles and I'm kicking their food. I started making more money. So now I want to get the may back. You know what I'm saying. And I say them, both of them bitches need drivers, and both of them bitches need to come everywhere that that I go. And then I need my bus there because it's a mobile studio in case a nigga want to get some work done. And that's how I moved around for with both cars. With both cars and the bus. That's different. That is yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, we need we need that pictures. Yeah, I wasn't taking pictures back then and make it look like I wasn't really like popping my ship. You know what I'm saying. I was humble. You were still home, and you know, a good friend of mine, I know, he's a good friend of yours. Um Buster told me sometimes he's like he said, yo, man, sometimes you're too humble. Yea. So now I kind of crack out of my show every now and then and I'll say some ship, do you ever feel like he was too humble? Well, this is the thing that my people from my studio and ship. No, I was so cocky before I got on that it was probably like unhealthy. I was that cocky. I ushould be like, man, I could fun this nigger man like this, like man, you know, I just was like you didn't like. I just was like as soon as I got on, I became god because you were great. I mean, I mean nigga my friend like nigga my friends. Honestly, one of my friends you called me Michael Jackson like nig he thought I was that like you know, used to just think I was just a flash. And they got like and it's like the Michael Jackson like the trap, like of like what we're doing, Like man, you know what I'm saying, Well, I'm telling you, but it's Michael Jackson right here. Book I get on. So it was like you know that go to you know, thank you Lord for this day. You know, I do an interviews. I'm like, you know what I'm saying, I wanna I wanna and I just became so humble. And I think one of the things that I that made me become humble was because I saw a few artists that was super cocky, right, and when they fell off, people didn't want to funk with him no more because of their attitude, because how they filled out, how they how they made them feel. So I said, because you know you're gonna go up that laudable when you come down, life is gonna humble. You know you come down, you got that nigga that might got they hold on, Oh you got that n might like let you go on all the way down like man, yeah sucking? Was you popping like you? You know what I'm saying, Like, because the money gonna come and it's gonna go go based upon lifestyle. So I was starting to see people who I won't getting no fucking w based off how the eight was just acting, how they was moving. So as soon as I got on and not the thing that I was gonna fall out one day, which is a natural probably you know, of course, but I just didn't want to be just rubbing people the wrong way basically what I'm then you invent a dabbing sat who killing there. I'm still killing them folks. All that at least it to sprite. So you see that would be a commercial coming on with Lebron and all that. They'd be wearing my sweaters in that commercial. Yeah, that's another bad huh tony. I just held by the way, that was called a slope clap. When you slow clap, that's legends like when you that's that's what we do a football touchdown and he get right to the y'all line, you go, slow clap everybody, everybody looking, everybody looks right, slow clap. Lot of ship, Holy holy jack old can saw this right now? Let's squash it. Man, No holy ship. They could be like they could be like, hey, I don't have no problem with bro of course, not many commercial break So that's right, that's right, that's right. That's so. Let me ask you two days listening to the album, and how accurate, how one point you are with this album? You have the one man possess still love this game like you can't make an album like how you just may Now I'm saying this with all sincerity. You know what I mean? Why haven't you fellow felt out of love with the game or have you fell out of love with the game at one point or jaded by the game, because I'd be saying some ship to be surprised. Man, Really, I'd be like, I'm just still I still got something to say, i still got experiences. I'm still dealing with, uh, some traumas I want to get out through my music and put in there. You know, I'm hiding information and even for myself. You know, I hadn't sat down with anyone before and talked about this. I've done some real excuse, I've done some real um regret for things. I've done some regret for things. So music, I think it's the best therapeutic for me because I don't even think I could be comfortably and telling something some people some things I don't. Are you trying to find redemption by doing the music as well? Now, well, I'm probably somebody. I'm probably somebody one of the only people. You know. They don't. I don't see I don't. I don't believe in calma. You don't good or bad. I don't believe in calm period. It can't be. Why it can't be, it can't be. I've never heard that. To be honest with you, I've never heard, because because what did you defied Calma as being well, I don't define as anything. Everybody else defined this. It's gonna come back and get you whatever. I can't believe that. If I believe in that, I wouldn't be I'll be I wouldn't be right. But you gotta believe in good energy comes back to you. I don't even believe in it, really. Yeah, yeah, I just know I'm gonna put good energy out. You know, you obviously want to receive it, but I'm gonna put a good energy out because I just think that that's what you should be doing. Because that's that's why you somewhat believe it. Because when I'm around like a person who has great energy, it just helps me. You know what I'm saying, one million helps me when I'm around people. What what what great energy is that? The plug? Hey, hey man, this is how it happens good. So you don't so, but you believe in positive energy, you believe in that? Yeah, I believe in Um. I believe in good days and bad days. Right, that's just I just started looking at like like even good days and bad days, I believe that, um uh man, it could be moody to you know what I'm saying, I'm lead up to not you don't have to have no cycle to be moody, and then it can be moody based on fucking lack of sleep, lack of nutrition, lack of bite, whatever can be you know, whatever that is, which is no excuse, but that can possibly happen. And I believe that, um honestly, Um, you know, you should try to be unless you just like come from a circumstance that you can't be positive, Like you're just dealing with some ship like that. I can't nobody expect that, but like you should try to be as positive as possible, Like I think you should be like trying to be as negative as possibly. I don't know what the results will be from that, you know what I'm saying, but just trying to just be you know, just say what's up somebody walking down the street or whatever it is. You know what I'm saying. I think it's just a good gesture, are offering somebody whatever it is. That's just why I am in like, but just thinking that if I treat somebody good and I'm when ward nature, I don't believe in that or something like that, because it's one of the first things I just noticed when you jumped out the car today. You jumped up the car and there's a delivery man and you said hi to the delivery man. They's just walking by. I don't know if you didn't have that no attention, but yeah, because the guy said how to you, and you literally just you know, extended your hand and said. I was like, that's dope. And that's just you know, because you're a superstar, you can see yourself a superstar, correct, So as a superstar to see then, and he hadn't a uniform and everything. I don't think it was ups or but why wouldn't not do That's fire? That's what I'm saying now now, I don't want you to listen. This is let me clear this up. If I'm in the club, which I'm doing, I don't I don't want to have a conversation in the club really period, because I don't want you to yell. I don't want you to breathe. I don't want you to be in my and and and if this explains why I turned my whole back to a nigga who's trying to talk to me, this is why I still don't want to have nothing to do with COVID or whatever. So don't be hi and fucking having something to say in the club. Now, I got to concentrate looking at you possibly fucking spit or sucking some other ship. So let's just like figure out another time to have this conversation in the club. Let's just like this is this is you like this or whatever, but don't like talk about your weed strand and you can take me on Monday. But like, bro, I just want to clear that, please most respectful. I just don't want to do that, you know now. But I'll take pictures all day, but I don't want to have ever like for like a deep, deep deep say if I can help it. So what is the best strip club in America? Right now? You can pick one. God said you gotta go to one for the rest of your life, zick one. I'm gonna take your shot for that. That's how you know. It's like you know he locked it in a quick tie. All right there. Let me give you an easier question. I have to take the shot at question in that said of me acting your top five mcs, give us the top five strip clubs in America, America, the majest city of lowers, a lower also in Atlanta, Jesus Amica. Okay, cool one, Okay were Onyx? Do you said Mageste? These first Onyx A law blue Flint. What's all? Fore? Can you give somebody somewhere else in proptcy? He told my New York names. Look at this Atlanta kid trying to say this is this is a cocky booby trap. I like boo my man, Mike, pick up Mike from booby Trap. Take one? What do you want? Don't take one? I don't even think people are taking one. Go to take one out. Show Girls listen this girls the ship. Listen. Don't never hang out with this nigg I think a name in like names. I never even he used to love that motherfucker like y'all's not true and like god with you never liked it. You've been the club Messriz. It wasn't that's my that's my brother. He's one of the He sticks to his guns. If it's if it's strip club is around his way, he's gonna go there. They're gonna make it good. Show Girls was not great. Hey, they played our music. They showed us love. That's real. Damn the ladies dance with bullet holes. They definitely had wounds. They definitely had That was the first strip club with me. Let me. I have to include Cheetah in Atlanta because I go there to eat and Cheetahs. Yeah, it's very nice. They have really good food. I can't forget about. I can't forget about the strip clubs, all of them from the Flame, the Majesty. These they have great like chefs in these in these they do strip clubs, and so some of them. I just started thinking because I went to honest plenty of times for lunch. You feel talk, Yeah, I was just thinking, man like, Cheetah got some real good ass Sea mass bro with the motherfucking mash with they went the broccoli, regular brocket with the regular brocket. Yea, you know what I'm saying. Your face got serious when you said that. Leave. Yeah, yeah, you know, I'm like, might see bads a little like a little flaking on the outside on that on that little cop coke. Right, geez, Louise, Papa cheese, Holy moley. So you're going with four and America on the whole America, I said, top five, five, Okay, but you got two more you let's go top seven. That's the guard number. So two more strip plus fours in Atlanta. One is five because I said cheaper, I had a cheap six. And then boob, that's six. I'm stopping at six, No seven, because seven is the guard number. All right, get off the six, I got you? Yeah right. The six is usually related to the devil. We don't want that devil. Can't do nothing with me though, Yeah, that's what. You don't even matter to me, see that, I don't care about nothing. That ship. They couldn't do that to me. If you let's hit that seven, dog, what's the last one? And then we talked about me the devil? What's the last one? Seven would be? Remember La La is out here a stub but you got me drinks, got a strip club. She was the host out there. It's pretty cool. You can't even you can't even you know this ship? Did you know this ship? Like, like, how do we You can smoke it in some places place they the shame game, but strip club naked over here over there. But KENNI, that's not no comparison. You know what I'm saying. It's a fool But this is the only thing they're missing. It's some it's I'm saying. If we put some saying an I say, that's the only thing he misses. I don't want and I don't got I don't. I don't got tricked now, I don't with them to three. Look around everybody, I'm like, ship folks just missing shoes. Really they got on everything, got on close and you know, girls where seduct the clothing like so yeah, man, it's a good place to go kind of like hang out. But I ain't never like got to go to the l a strip club like that. Don't have that be on it to the old ko D, the old old Yeah, but that's not now. But yeah, we're talking about old strip club. We'll be going on day because yeah, you know, let's talk about now that's the one. Yeah, So the seventh one, y'all have to give me some ideas in Miami. The only the one I've been going to now here would be Booby Track because I got my little side later and then who'll be working out. We'll be working on the Yes two Booby drops, Yeah on the river. But yeah, I'm not gonna get to Booby. The one that you're picking is on the River. Yeah, yeah, yeah, but it's yeah, yeah, we'll be tracked by the sunset place, right. Yeah. They are all by the same. They have to be same on us. That's the show Girls in Living show Girls. They got so, they got so, they got so, they got franchise st clue. Yeah, that's Miami for sure. I didn't realize that the fries taste the same. And they got cheetahs out here too. Let me take up I'll be honest with you. When I first moved on this side, when you said cheetus, I swear to God, I cannot make this story up at all. Yeah. Yeah, I first went to the strip club, my dude, but I don't I'm not knowing Pops not running it at the time. Pops run now, but he wouldn't running it back then, back then. So I just went there, and I promise you, my dude, somebody said, you, dude sent you a bottle. They sent me a couple of bottles. So I just wanted to say something to the dude that sent me a bottle. I went to say something to the dude to see me a bottle, nigger. The police is in their full flag uniform. Fuck, he's different. A minute like, look, you sent me like four bottles. I'm like, damn, Like this is some big speak ship, you know what. Let me just think this thing because I'm gonna trink going for And I went there and he's sitting there and the police they think I'm to him. It's not detectives. It's hilarious. One niggas sported like, oh yeah, to talk to me, that's how. And then when they raided Jesus out here, I said, they elized. That's the first time I said. They were a little loose. As they went a little loose, I can see. They see why the raid happened. What's the losing strip club? They don't happen like that no more. But they but they had they had some. They had some very loose strip clubs and very very very loose. Yeah, they don't. They don't do that anymore. We even had the places in Atlanta where they were doing the happy endings everywhere, those spars and everything. Oh the massagist to shut those down, especially on my side, they were just it's like New York used to have Times Square. It used to be like the jerk off Capital now now Disney World run. That's just it's amazing to see stuff like so two days you've been down, Um, two people who basically co SiGe and do what loud or let's just let's just let's just be clear. We can't let this interview and without you speaking about Luda. How did that relationship even start? Um. Soluta is from the South Side as well. He just was at another he went to like another high school and we have a mutual friend by the name of Little Faith that's actually like kiss right hand man, so on stage with him life Um and Fate went to both of our high schools. He went to my high school, which was North Clayton and he went to Bannaker High which is the schools that Louda went into. And they always was rappers. I was a drug dealer and Um, I have stayed in these apartments that was like um like it was literally a Travis where people came and got drugs from. But the airport was expanding, Um the runway, so they were offering people in the apartment's money to move. Luda was work and on the radio station at the time, and he was smart enough to move into the apartment's only to get the money to He stayed in the front, like by the rent office and stuff, and so we kind of got a relationship like that because it was like the dude from the radio, you know, he lives in the front or whatever. And so I started trying to be a rapper at the time because it was older guys around me who thought that I should wrap. Because I used to try the freestyle either, you know, at the car wash, on the blocker, even on the back of the school bus if I was going to a game, I just used to be freestyling. So like an older cat told me, like, you shouldn't try to wrap, lay some of this ship down, you know what I'm saying. Like back then, people used to look like rappers, like they were like hit. I mean, like what is the wrist bands up here and fucking wrist bands? Big shirts and your head bands and ship, you know what I mean. Like, and you know, they looked like wrap was in up, and I just I looked like I did something else at the time, you know what I mean. And I started rapping, and um, he heard something that I did, you know what I'm saying like, and gave me a compliment and we started was Chris Love Dames Chris Love with love and him and I are like one day apart, we Burgos. He bought us to it and we started, like we just started getting annoyed each other on a different level. I started having some things in common. And the first song I ever recorded, he thought one of the lines was hard as hell, and he was like he was thinking about I don't know what he was thinking about, but he thought one of the lines as hard as hell. So he's thinking about introducing us to scar Face. When they had the Deaf Jam South deal to like sounding signing them, Um, that never panned out. I ended up signing with Luda until Dollar from those Women Players Circle. He was in jail for a couple of years until he came home. When he came home, we formed Playoffs Circle, which was the name of the relation that little originally hurt me on and we have been friends kind of every since. And then, you know, I just started growing as an artist. I started growing as an individual, and I started recognizing, um, you know, my power and how I changed the room and just like how I could go places, I didn't really need to go places with him to get recognized and recognition and you know, I just you know, it was it was amicable. You know what I'm saying, because because when did you when did you really say, you know what, let meat let meat? I mean, let me move on my own. It wasn't like you left him out on't but it was like you you want to boss up? Yeah? So what what? What? What? What was? What? What was that moment? Like I woke up and I said, I called him. I said I don't want to be on the level anymore. And then they said, you can't do that. You can't just like that. It's just there's no it's no two way. This is a straight up. But you know, you just can't get off the level like that. I want to just do my own. They thought I was about to go sign with like cash Money, because I had a strong relationship with Tune at the time. I would have thought the cash Money too. Yeah, but really I've been I've been around Chris, I've been around Wayne, and then I'm learning that I can really do this on my own. That's what I'm really getting out of all this. I'm not getting that I shaved from wagon to the I'm not getting I'm not That's not what my mind is. I'm getting that, oh, I can do this too. I just need a really good team around me. I need some facilitate as I need some people, you know what I mean. I started getting this ship just like from observation, So that wasn't it. This first thing to tell you is you can't just do that, which is business wise. He's he's correct. He actually says something else. I won't say. It's just funny. He says some other stuff, but I don't even know if he knew what I was like. And then you can't leave, not like that. Now he's just trying to use another situation like such and such and such access and I was like, huh, this ain't that, you know, like Wayne can't leave baby. No, he didn't say that, but it was a suation and I'm yeah, yeah, situation, so um, you know. And so then one one time, so I had some money and I went to the office and Jeff might not remember this, but I remember they said something you want to Yeah, they might remember this. You like, you want to leave, you wanna leave, you wanna leave? You know, she give me a hundred thousand right now. But they didn't know I had the money, right So I was like, man, I don't get the fucking shoe box. By the way, that's my album cover, the shoe box. I don't get this shoebox right now, because really I had like a hundred and like it laughed about, but I was willing to to to like to pay to get out, you know. But I'm not like even I'm smart enough, but I'm not even rastling enough to know that even if that was the way to do, I couldn't just bring them a box of money to be out my deal. Like at the time, I just wanted to be out of it. And just like I'm saying a hunt of I don't right like and like you know what I'm saying, Like I just just was my attitude at the time. I wanted to wanted to just be on my own. I have the team, I have people that I felt like believed in me. Not to say that they didn't, but I just I mean, I've always always, always, always always been a leader of always believe in myself. I've always always been confident. I hadn't always been rich, so you don't have money and stuff like that. It might suppress some of those things, but I've always been a confident little fucking black boy who always knew how to put on clothes. Whether I stole the clothes or or whatever I had to do is whatever I did, I've always know how to take care of myself, my my my dad and stared and still some really players ship and me my mama raised a player, and so um, every situation I've ever been in, even from being at this table, is a learning situation for me. You know what I'm saying. But what made you want to leave DTP? Because at the time, let's just be clear, the label is one of the hottest labels in the industry. Well I'm so, I'm not ignorant, but let me be honest. The name alone is dt P. That's a myster me. I'm a whole feeling. I've been a feling since I was fifteen years old. So it really was like that has been a disconnection with me. I probably never even said nobody from day one, no, no, like humbly speaking like that, really yeah, humbly speaking like that's what there was kind of a disconnection, like you know what I'm saying. For me, I've really like you know what I'm saying, So that was that was that was kind of it, Like the maybe the little piece of the name has something to do with it. Weren't flourishing, but it's his baby, it's his name. I can't the name of my ship is the real you, the real university. Some people liking, some people don't. I can't. But at this particular time, that was a disconnection with me because I was that was that wasn't a charge that I had. So you leave, no, But what happened? Did you put up the hunter? Did you have to do that? So I have a lawyer and then I meet up with so I'm I'm hot, and people are trying to, you know, call me too, and then um Victor calls me pushers manager Steve been Victor. Yeah, I don't even know what he'd called me for, but you know, I'm I'm starting to tell people that I don't want to be in this situation and I don't care who listens at this time. But I have a lawyer, and a lawyer that I had at the time, I act like he couldn't like figure out how to get me out of contract. And then I get the lawyer that I got right now and he looks at the contract and tells me he can get me out. And you know a couple of weeks and I'm like, you know, basically cool, you know what I'm saying. And then so I pay. I pay to get out and I get the lawyer. You don't pay little, it though. I pay a little to get out. They get a point on my first three albums. They got a point on my first three albums. Paid little to the Honeygram. I pay a little to the Honeygram plus the points on the first three albums. Yeah, I gave my point on each listening to this young artist, point on the first game, point on each or the three albums. I'm on my I just dropped my seventh album that well, on my eighth album, that to drop now. So that was in a hundred thousands. I mean, looking very humbly. Let me just really say this, I got it on me now. So that just just I just kind of bet on myself with that. Was the name change ever a part of that. No, the name change just came came apart with my growth. Man, it just came apart. It wasn't a day of happening. It just it just happened. I said titty to niggles, the titty too chains on the song and man, it just started happening. And then I'm so, what happened? What titty boys? Once again, I'm standing these apartments. I'm huzzling. Yeah, I got this song, and these people think I got potential, so they signed me, and they're like, what your rep ain't gonna be? And I'm like, titty boy because I don't have one name. My mama called me, my friends called I don't have a name. And so when I go do the radio, not podcast, I go do radio and I say my name is titty boy. They're trying to like, what what is this? What have you brought here? You know what I'm saying. And then they're trying to trying to take my black boy joy, trying to take my love joy like I ain't popping, like yeah, like trying to like and so I'm like, damn, so you know I'm getting it. But I'm like that and I'm having this thing. No, it's nothing derock andtory towards women. You know, I'm raised by a single black woman, strong black woman, you know. But I'm having explained this more than I'm having to explained the music. So I knew another angle hat to come. And then you know, it was the It was a combination of me on the fifty five forty, me being able to do more songs in a quicker period of time. That way, I was able to do mixtapes, and then me rapping. I was able to come up with you nicknames, you know, rappers always, you know, re read you know. And that's what happened, man, And it was there. A lot of stars were aligned for me to even get right here with you all to day, but they did, and I expected them to forty your version of the Wire. Oh yeah, yeah, you know. I'm power. I'm gonna be honest with you. I'm gonna be I could just get somebody really to whoever's listening, I reckon, just get somebody to. I could really just get them the four or five hours of the tapes that I actually recorded in my studio, and man, if you just had a surprise, I haven't about some of the ship that happened to my one of my homeboys. This is a real acted out Wire series in my opinion, No, it is. We actually even I can't even do this. Damn, I'm tripping up. I'm talking about Blood TV. I'm about I'm about to be on here like, I don't say nothing, but this ship happened so long ago. And then you don't nickas know who it was, but nickas know who. Niggas know who got kidnapped and beat up and all that over there, so about our studio equipment. So it was I get to the studio one day. I can't even I can tell the story because it's up. I get to the studio one day and uh, everybody's you know, got just some people with torn T shirt and niggas breathing hard, like what the fundy happening here? They're like ship beat shot beat who, Like we found out who took the studio equipment? And they're telling me. He's like, look now, I look at that, that's blood on the car. I'm like, what the funk out boys and did? And then you know, after they tell me the story, I started that no disrespect, I left the studio like a little earlier man. It was why So I ended up leaving the studio actually right before the shoot. I have to end up like giving me a whole another studio because I had went cold turkey on the bags. And that's a whole non story. But I woke up one day sounding want hustle them, and nigga started. I was playing, but I was really dead serious, like I started buying like ouncers from other people, and I just thoughted, like whatever. But one day somebody, so these nigga tell me, yah, we've seen them, so they they don't even they don't even know what they did until they tell me the story, like they saw him walking and then they brought them back here. So soon as I heard that, I said, oh board, I'm I'm, I'm, I'm ahead on. I just knew something was gonna happen. But it was just those stories like that, well, like Nick, you don't even realize they're doing ten fifteen years crimes and you know what I mean, just just just the passion of not wanting to be disrespected, you know what I'm saying. And that's big, big. The homies up now, they're still all I'm still you know still, you know the ones that are still living a lot of the people from from there I have passed away right now from ten years ago, it's meant about ten years since I'm moved. You might have had beside fifty cents and dips at you might have had one of the illness mixed tape. You're gonna compare me to Number Boys. That's it is, That is that you can't forget about wings. I ain't rain My favorite. My favorite mixtape was definitely like said fifty whine ship. Who else had them? Jeezy jeezy jeezy Gucci too. Yeah. But but but the mix tapes, man, they were albums. That was definitely albums. You're getting booted, we getting book, we can your mix tapes was definitely album. Yeah, I get I was getting man, I was getting forty. I remember you. North cuts me out one thing. He remember this. You're like, I've been on Private just before, like North Man, I'm trying, man, I have to fucking timple this Jess like yo yo yo yoo check this out all that ship just like it was like yo yo, I need to do this. You know, I'm trying to tell I'm ripping a run at the same time to three shows. You know what I'm saying. He started up like yeah, still having said stuff started congratulations. Make sure you cut up video, yo, y'all. Check I did jam, We've been did all that ship. I need you to come to this and you always got it. Just be clean. Let me tell you something. Every time I ever asked, always kind of get into it. That's your bird ship. One time he was like, I was like I said something. He was like, I think I know the fight too. You get to you know, you know what I'm saying, y'all, y'all just know a little humble niggering pulled out at a little done some you know my mother to know I just told something of that ship last time in my face, I don't because I guess i'd be smoking chick and big man. I can't wait. Listen. I love you, man, my leg you to my brother. Think a lot of you I've seen. I'm so proud of you because I seen I seen. I never said this story I've seen. One time he was in New York and we were just talking. I think we was having drinks or something. He's like, damn man, these dudes things. Book my studio and you use my studio that and you could have you could have went bad. You could have been bad on the whole dt P. That's that's most artists will go and fun my label. And this is you. You held it like a g and I said, you said, you know what kind of record? I said, record on things do whatever the fun you want to do. And what I loved about your attitude was most young artists and most young dumb artists, you get a chance and then it's one mistake that a person gave you and then you just go off. You didn't do that. You just said Joe Boom and you just recorded. And I realized, I said, this, nig is gene years. I knew he was a genius. He was a titty boy at the time. Let's just be clear. And you know it's so cliche to say that right now, like I knew you was gonna make it like but you know, I fun with you did and I said that said this this he's somebody, he's gonna he's gonna and all us and sex you you get. I claim it. I might not claim it to you like that my neck. I know it. I knew it, and I don't need nothing for like even like I switter called this album, I really want to salute you, because this is the album. As we get older and older and older after your fifth album, they're waiting for you to fall off. They're waiting for you to say, see he had it and for you to show up like this like I'm telling you, your constituents, your people, the people that's around us, they're paying attention like I'm paying attention. It's just they ain't going like this. Yeah, I got it. I get that niggas ain't the d And I'm like, I mean, I don't want to squeehote, like, listen, okay, you should dropped last week, next week, Oh so listen you feel hard the niggas feel how I feel. I feel the energy too sometimes man, and and I just want to say that, um, I funk with all the peers now check out. It was a period of time I didn't listen to a lot of people's music, but right now I try to listen to the youngsters, people that came out with me. I try to check out people music. I gotta respect for the people art. And it always is that kind of secret competition, but then it really don't kind of have to be because it's so much and so many platforms and so many different ways to really eat out here that that I refused to like hold my nuts and really like act like I don't see something that I like. If I like it, I think I let it be known. You know what I'm saying. I think, I think, just like seeing something dope, like my shoe box and this big old fucking active base for the big as shoe box next to the crystals that are I'm running, you know what I'm saying, And just all this stuff I'm doing next to this big ass tank, just all this ship I'm doing in the middle of downtown at Lema. You don't see this, you know what I'm saying. Now, you look like you, even though you don't think you're a hater, you slick kind of got hater DNA like your mama or your dad. It was like your mama pussy man, because he did. That's some then that should be genetics. Man, you could be acting like they. You know what I'm saying, They MoMA, ship dad, whatever the folk one gates one gates to you or whatever whatever the folk. Well that's what you here. Man that's looking at this ship has seen you. Man saying you're not on you. I got take another shot to that. I got to the shot, y'all. Change to your album though, This is why you might have to take a shot. I ain't gonna lie to you, like I said, I was sober freshed because I see these boys. These young boys don't know them skitches a part of the album. When you listen to you know, these great albums, they always had kids. They always had something to entertain you in between the music. And to me, you delivered that you like from the point I put it on, I'm like, m I'm like, okay, he telling the story. It made sense to me as a And I'm no that I say this about you when you're not around, and I promise you on camera and off camera about the album. This is my this is my favorite album right now. This is my personally favorite album. And I'm sitting there, I'm like, the whole story may sense. Even though when the homie was talking about on the skin, I didn't know what he was talking about. It was the most intertaining to me. I had a person on my album called Animal Thub where we don't know he rich. Then Nigger brought the chicken spot he worked that. Yeah, it was the delivery boy animal skip blew up. He bought the he bought the spot that he worked that. Let's make too much of animals. But that's what he reminded me of, Like because I had this animal and Animal was on Animal Animal and he was on the r album Platinum. Then he went on Melvine Flint album I Believe he Platinum now um and he went It reminded me of like that Two Kings on Call This Animal, because what Homie is saying again, I don't know what he's saying, but how he's saying and how he's related into it. That was the most entertaining ship. I'm sitting there like this nigg is a star too. Well. The thing is they don't even know they're being recorded, so that I think that's what that's kind of That's what. Yeah, that's the thing like they didn't know why, you know, until they come. Look, what's his name, Let's pick him. We don't talk about him. It's Big. A lot of people know Big. It's look all right, let's let's take let's beau, don't count, let's dig it. I'm gonna tell you why I love. I'm gonna tell you what I love Big, right, B No, this is my partner, Big, who you're heard to skin? OK? Yeah, I love a love Big Big. It's been through more turbulence than I've ever seen from a young black man ever in my whole entire life. Out of everybody I've ever known, you know what I'm saying. He lost his mom, he lost his sister, his son got killed the street. You know what I'm saying. He had them the stage for with cancer beat that, you know what I'm saying. So he had it. He had his ups and downs, and so what you was hearing was a real passion for just like life, you know what I'm saying. And a lot of times he blamed himself for this, you know what I'm saying. And he works for me a game of job, you know what I'm saying, and he does it. He does a good job trying to you know, keep us ill to the streets. But like we've been knowing each other since maybe like ninth grade. Um, he mentioned blood and family. So that's an example of someone that I'm not a relative or that's that's my family. That's my family, and I got I got a lot of love on you know what I'm saying. But but yeah, he wanted the ones you know what I'm saying, and h and uh, I'd be just like I'll be backing my boy, you know what I'm saying. I'll be I'll be holding my partner down like that. That was hard. Yeah, that's true. But two things. I'm gonna be honest. This is the this is my favorite album you ever made. And I believe everybody, if everyone knows, and just listen to this album the way. I listened to the album and I listen, I did it. I did it three different times. Listen to it, Dad's sober. Okay, No, no, first I listen to a drunk Let's be clear. I listened to a drunk first, and I was like, man, this, it couldn't be this good. Woke up in the morning, took the ride again, just rolled the Bell Harbor and turned around just to listen to your album. When they had lunch, came back. I listened to again and I said, damn, do you consider that a classic? If not, no worry, but I got this. It's not my best, not yours, so it's better to come. Oh yeah, yeah, I'm really talking talking crazy. It's not crazy. I know, you know what I'm saying, Like this is like Virgo black Lingo. When I say talking crazy, I'm like, on these tracks, not like talking crazy. I don't I don't think to sound believable. I'm saying on these tracks that you're going to hear from me. I'm talking crazy. This just the album that you kind of heard was me like clearing stuff off my plate for like the new stuff that I have coming. So although I'm highly impressed with the stuff that's on there, I know I know what's about to come. This was almost like something to like, you you go to those uh you go to the good dinners where they have all these coarse meals and stuff like this, So this would be a part of them that would not be the entree for me. I don't think that's the entrees for us. But I'm about to put out this year. That's my thoughts on it. And I didn't mean nothing about the Burgo Black Ship. That's all good, no, no, I understood. But so we had um, we had Kanye sit in the same seat, we had Jeezy ship in the same seat, and all of them kind of allude to leaving Depth Jam. But it doesn't seem like none of them is leaving death time. What are you one of them? Are you gonna you staying with depth jamn? Because your last album, this was your last album. Now this is right here coming up, and that's who go on Depth Chad, Depth, Cam, Cash Money, obviously right. However, Yeah, however because I joined album over the slash Works. Yeah, but that's my that's my last one. Um, we'll see, you know, we'll see de Jam. I've been with them, They've been there for me. They've had different management that I had. There's been rocky that I haven't been pleased with as far as what they have going on in two with l A read you didn't know. I mean, I mean I've been there for I've been there for so many I wasn't even never for they read. I was, well, I was for a small pair of time early early on, but I'm talking about I mean, I've been there for four or five different label heads and so, um, you know we got a new one then what's my man name? Tound of thunder M. We've got the team now over there. Yeah, she's good. We got Sharon. They I like, uh, I like. I like the personnel over there. I like the personnel. I can't front my faults. Um, yeah, they're all good people. Well, um, we'll see you know, they definitely, uh, they definitely came through a couple of times for me, so you know how that should be. But at the same time, I'm I have enough. Uh, I got enough like resources now that I can do this this, this ship on my my own two you know what I'm saying, Like you can sign a stem player on y'all, I could just like I can, just like I can, just like um, I can, I could just I have enough resource and ton of is like somebody else at the name of the new labor head of this it's tuned you. But I'm thinking about an A and R that was over there, but anywhere go. I'm in a position now to where I can um be on my own again use the resource that I have, still get um on platform still, you know, do what I need to do without really having them as a you know, distributor, you know what I mean. But you know we're good. We got good business together. No one owes anybody anything. So we'll just see ship like that. I don't even One of the last ahead feelings. One of the last questions, what is your favorite album? That's a good one. It's crazy, favorite album from me from you? From me first? Your favorite album on you? And I was I'm saying, I mean, I mean, so okay, you can go. Well, you know, my first album was definitely a classic Grammy nominated. Pretty Girls Like Trapped Music was an album that did very good. It was the first album where I well, I literally freestyle the whole project. Literally, like before hearing the beat, I was going to booth and the first time I hear to beat, our started. So still don't write lyrics down. No, I never wrote lyrics down, but this when I say freestyle. When I say freestyle, I mean like literally, like first time anything. I'm yeah. So with me, I'm like, I hear beat, well, that's when I get like, so I do it so much that I try to do something that like challenge myself. So normally i'm hearing to beat, I'm thinking of a wrapping my head and I go into booth and lead doing Pretty Girls like Trump music. I would tell a producer. I put the pressure on the producer, like I tell a producer this, and producers no, I've told him this. I said I want three beats, and they'd be like, what kind of beats you want? And I'll be like the beat that's gonna buy your mama a new house, And then for some kind of reason they know what beat I'm talking about. Um, And then I said I only want three because I'm I'm gonna freestyle all three off. You know what I'm saying. I just need three different ones. You you picked the three. I don't even want to hear my engineers in here now he probably can. I don't even want to hear him whatever. Going to booth and I've been doing this since I started back, doing this again this year. I going to booth, then I hear a beat and then I do something to it. And that's how Vibe came, and that's how a Good Drink came, and that's how fucking everything came. That was on Pretty Girls Like Tramp Music and then on this last album. The reason I really liked this last album is because, um, I was mixing it up with the young boys, you know what I'm saying, and um, you know, doing videos standing next to him and you know what I'm saying, happening that, you know it was? I just like to enage on my last album, I dude, I like, um, just you understand how made the storyline, you know, as far as the skid, as far as the street ship, as far as all the trap ship. That's like the last time I'm gonna be doing all that in one spot too, so that's why I like it, because I'm gonna spread the trap ship out of Like it's not gonna be all on just one album. We're gonna have some soul ship with some what's some what's some bars and ship going on from here or not. But yeah, I just those will probably be my three. This one that just dropped dope, don't sell itself. Pretty girls don't like trapping. I mean, pretty girls do like you, and he's got me and but then you know, Ropper go to the League. It's a good album too, and so help me. God, all my albums are good. All my albums are good. Straight up, I agree. All my albums are good. Now, when is Atlanta gonna get out of here? You mean, like lead, like leave y'all alone, like just to go somewhere and do something else. Is running this ship way too long? Yeah? Can y'all put that torch out? No, because because we get it. As soon as we see the next little young dude coming up, we're gonna all do so with him. That shoot the video, Finn, that thing you ain't got the call the manager over that old counting dad, James. You did him wrong. We do to y'all y'all let him do a remix without himself on it. That was wrong. I was on the remix he thinking on it. Look you even noticed that. Holy I listen, I want to get on this ship. Yeah, because I sat down Ja, he sat the same chip with you, the same and I said, he's I said, yo, I think, well I got that tech where we're wrong? He goes where I said, you did a remix without you on it? The record like this was your time to ride with them going on and let's y'all think it's just drying. I looked at y'alls that these things his bullies too. Yeah, I think it's realized this thinking on this day what you're doing. Actually, I thought, Trum that James really understood the game at this time because his first video was so impact. It was impact, that's my man. And even the things he was saying gold on even the molly, I'm sweating all of that. You know what, you took a molly before, right, It's it's it's pretty cool. It's know what I mean. I'm I'm I called the drugs I do now, I call I do plant based drugs. Now, you know I do shrooms and weed. But I've done. I used to, you know, vegan on ship. Yeah I'm vegan, but I'll get in my own world and my own big back in the days. Used to take a little pecet back in the days. Yeah, you're back in the day, popped the Molley and I sweat it town. It was okay to me, Like you pop that molley, man, I do that Molley. Then I'd be like, you know, I'll be trying to like challenge myself, like have a strong mind. So I'd be like, su I'm gonna go to the you know, gym. I'm gonna gym the next day, I get up, I get high. That's that's you know, I'm hot, going to gym, going there. Who put my gleans on? When I've got so bright? But y'all got the lights so bright and hit what the hell you're doing last night? I was like, you know, but as a man, I've seen John Rod. I've seen John Rood take an ecstasy and then right and you always on time, like you didn't work for me at the Ex. He do a song off the Ex. Niggas be having a recipe when they come up. The niggas got their own receipee now he probably was feeling itself and because they probably made his voice a little silky or something like that. Yeah, it ain't. And what made you get into the Latino? You started like because he's I just wanted to rid the story. But no, I just I fell in love in Porter we Go. But yeah, it was it was different, man. People some people on Lean they make Lean records? Was you making Lean records? When he was on lead? Um? And all my songs, all my son, my first album, all my songs was on But one thing that I've been told um that when I was on Lean is that I had a really bad attitude. Really, yeah, I've been I've been told that I had a really bad I've been told that like recently life. So because you were sleepy, No, I think it's I don't know, because Lean, you're sleepy and you ain't sleeping, you you could be cranky because you're awake because you're sleepy. I mean, you know one thing about the thing with Lene, I started drinking Lean and so I have a my stomach is like it's funked up before the before the lane. I guess, I don't know. I don't know if the lane sunked it up without my stomach. So I was drinking lean and then um, I started having these episodes where I would man, I would like it depends on what kind of food I would eat. That just my whole day up. So I went to like go get the just camera put in my stomach right, and I found out I had like, you know, like alcers, that I had acid reflux at the same time, which is very pain. And so they prescribed me permit the zame pills. And so I said, hey, doctor, I think you can get me from the zine because because I'm not able to swallow these pills. And he said, you know, people have been abusing that stuff. I said, oh what, dude, you know, like I said, who who was abused? I said, well, then I left and I said this is the I said, the reason I must like this ship because I guess it's been making me. I know this just sounds like a horrible excuse, but I I was this ship was making me my stomach feel better. If I even knew I was having stomach issues, I was drinking this ship. And it was before yeah, before I gave you the activists. No, no, you're saying he was already honest activists. And then but I was having episodes of certain stuff like so so now I can't like drink lemonade. I can't have like lemonade, don't do uh yeah, asked a lot of acid stuff myself. I mean I fucking flipped, like if I drunk a lemonade right now, my day will be over. I have to go home. I hold it so you can't drink I can't. But I'm telling about like a straight like you know, I like Chick Filo got the lemonade, like they used to be my favorite lemonade. But then like I would drink something like that and I would be funked up. But I learned why all the time. Anyway, I got on the leaning between times. Ling was making me feel better. When I go to the dark, they prescribed me promitthe zine peels, not the liquid. I'm already drinking the liquid. So then I started giving myself the excuse that made me. I'm self medicating myself the proper way, just through the black market. So because when I look, when you look up promethe zencoding all that, it's for naga, Like the real reason for the medicine is for the it's Naga and other things like the stuff that that my symptoms were. That's what it's really for if you don't drink a whole fucking pint ugger at one time, you know what I'm saying. So I was doing that and it was making me feel feel better, but it was making me a I guess grouch, you whatever. But I've done all my albums. On the album, I did a mixtape called Codey and Withdrawal, So we ran out of lean in the Lama and I did a project that was my first project. Because the rumor that you brought all the activists is that a rum not? But so the dude was going around selling like the rest of the points because it was a rumor. The rumor was that they're gonna stop selling at the rumor was they were trying to say somebody got caught with the Act whatever that and ACT needs to just shut this ship down because a lot of the young young folkuss. So this dude coming around with the paints and the points that went up to a very high ticket. Whoa no way more than that, way more than that. But when they came through, I probably bought about seven or eight of them. You know what, I'm saying other points at that price, and then I just put them off and I drunk a little bit at a time, and then I went myself off for until I got like if I got a long international flight right now, I look around and do something like that just so I can sleep. You know. I did it one time with eight ball in j g and Japan in Japan. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that was probably cool. That was probably fun as far us, right, yeah, the same thing. Yeah, well, yeah, it's the same thing. My first time EVE been here in the cup, I think was when I was working with three six and then I got three six hats um on the video shoot with Little and then Wayne was on it and with something with Wayne used to pour so heavy that it was like almost like a slushie. So the first time I drank out his cup, it didn't make my stomach feel that it made. It made my stomming like kind of cramp up a little bit, so I wasn't sure if I wanted to go there. And then eventually, just over time, I started being on the drink. But um, it doesn't even interest me anymore, I know it. I'm not even like you on that repsital what to change. I'm gonna be honest. I sent you from the beginning and I'm gonna take a shot to this last one. I can't be more proud of a person. Oh you're grinding, y'all. I started this interview off and I said, you're a hustlst hustler. And I mean that with all my heart because, like you said earlier, what what what the DTP situation you could have been? You could have been, how you could have been? No, I got a lot of respect for him. Yeah, yeah, And what you did, how you bounced I don't even say bounced back, but how you bounced forward. M hm. You know after that situation, how you held it down, how you just you did you And for you to be where you're at right now, I sincerely, one million percent wanted to salute you and say, great motherfucker move, great, great way to be who the funk we are, because because I don't have to just anybody to big myself like I love bigging me. I love me. I ain't gonna lie to I love me like I wake up with. I was like, I love this nigg you are And I can tell you the same way I can tell you the same way. I can tell you the same way. And I'm gonna tell you something because you really grinded, you really did what you had to do. And I see you in photos with Lebron. I see Kevin hard yelling at which by the way, we going to l A. I told you I'm gonna I'm gonna later see um. But to see the level that you and to see the people and the levels that need to be respect you like Lebron Care Well, I thought that was because I thought that was dope. What the fun was Cap saying to you? He was rapping and he was freestyle. His ship was track man, man, he's my friend. You know. His first movie, um was with me really Paper Soldiers. Yeah, his first scene, like when he walks in, it's with the y'all you blessed them, you're annoying them. Yes, I mean so I'm even on Friday. But I ain't gonna lie the boss. He was spending to you. But was he chocolate dropped or he was Kevin? He was killing He was intoxicated for sure, And You're like, Okay, I'm like, so you know by the time I'm you know, I'm I don't think film first I'm not I'm not from this. This is curt So about to tell my film. That means, you know this nigga been doing it ten minutes our dropt fifteen minutes before I say, man, let me get this. He kept going, you know what I'm saying, supposed to film that. Yeah, so that's what That's what made me do it and everything. But you know, Kevin is like, man, it's cool to have Like, it's cool to be in an era where all of us, like the egos ain't you know what I'm saying, ain't really visible like that you can all go we all go to the game because we can all go to lunch then together kick it. Like we gotta think with our photo is gonna look like and you know in the future when people go back and look like how, you know you're gonna know five or six people in the photo, you know what I'm saying, Like they're gonna all be like famous in their own writer or comedian. You know, a comedian, a rapper. You just sucked me up. You got a comedian rapping a basketball player all one. Let's at like at a high level.
