Welcome to Drink Champs, the production of The Black Effect and I Heart Radio and His Drinks has motherfucking podcast. He's a legendary queen's rapper. He's agree. It's your boy in no R He's a Miami hippop pioneer. Up is d J e FN. Together they drink it up with some of the biggest players in the most professional unprofessional podcast and you're number one sorts for drunk Drink is New year Z. That's time for Drink Champs. Trink Up? Would it could be? Hopefully what it should be? It's your boy in a O. What up is d J e f N and his Drinks has motherfucker? Y'all make love? Are you get to astraate lee? Um? And right now when we talk about legends, man uh, this is one of the brothers. Run of the very few brothers who got records with Biggie Smalls, Tupop, Big pun and easy Holy Moley, guacamole, not to mention a right carry lout John, all types of hits with all all those people. You know, Collion his own hits, his own god damn hits. Just one every first of the month. You're supposed to hear this record. In fact, every thirty year, we came up with an idea that you every first of the month, we should be counted down until it actually hits the first and household. But in case you don't know, this is a legend of legend out here, monkey foot in the game. We heard he got legal lean. That's not lean, but it's like lean, but it's not lean. But to get your lean. In case you don't know who that we talked about, we talked about crazy motherfucking yeah, what'sover now? I want to get straight to that. To that point, there's not there's not a lot of artists in this world. I could say they worked with Big and Pop, just just that. Yeah, man, then there's not artists I can say I worked with Easy Yeah, Big One, Holy moti Waker Mode. So let's start. Obviously, I looked at the documentary, looked at you know, Google everything. Did you guys really get on the bus to me easy one way, great help bus? And I was wondering, what was a great help? Okay, okay, okay, y'all had a meeting set up though, no, bro, we didn't have nothing. What happened was flesh fless. What was actually going to school county and he was going to different parties and he was like, man, I'm running into so many celebrities are here. This is where y'all need to be. Yeah, okay. So he came back home and you know, like we just started hustling. We started hustling to get one way bus tickets and we was like, yeah, we just go. We didn't have nowhere that, we didn't have nowhere to live. We were just like we could have go ahead and meet Easy. It was our mission. It was it was the whole plan to go get signed to Rufus record. Wow, so y'all have that already premeditate, like this is what we want to be. That was the whole play. We were like, we're going to sound because because we was fans of n w A and they do when they broke up, we felt like Easy he was the underdog. We're like, so Easy need the most help. Let's go help. And you know what I'm saying, Like, so it was like, let's go sign the Easy, so easy Easy. You know, obviously I'll never get a chance to interview the So I want to ask you a little bit more questions. You know, he's he's meeting the whole first meeting and when y'all get to me, because what you said he was calling his assistant. Yeah okay, Kesha Anderson. Okay, I love that you remember our name. Yeah yeah. Man, hey, let's see, she's still the home girl to this day. So she's still a home girl. So like man, we have been when we first of all, we got the number one from one of our dudes in Cleveland. He was a promoter and he called and he gave us a number the Roofles with Regors, and we started calling every single day and she would answer the phone like like damn, y'all call him again. So then like we called one day and she was like, you know what I'm telling y'all, nigga's calling every day. I'm gonna make sure Eric calls y'all back today, I promise you. And we was like okay, cool, And then the phone rang and Busy answered the phone and uh, Easy was like let me speak the bone and Busy was like who was this? He was like it's just easy eat and then Busy's like, oh ship. Busy threw the phone to me and was like rap, and I just started busting on the phone that you can't kick that rap right now? Oh yeah, let's that a little bit, a little bit. It was a well listen, the nigga, the nigga, the nigga did wants to again the niggas they pick up their pin. They're trying to get temperance too that they win this dead mac tea and this blast. Then pick you're winning enough from nigga sass and pop up my clipping you asking who when the was that mask? Man? The nigger just put it in the ticker read this because I'm slimmer. They figured they bigger. But when you considered but killing this, pilling your cap downe with the nigga, they're wunning to pack their steps. So pack your guys. I see you like I see with the murder serving you're up under cover of your fuck nigga getting never heard that buck, So how old are you when man was like eighteen? Because one of the things, I'm sorry because one of the things that struck us immediately, I was from the East Coast. We had never heard of style like that. And then when we see you guys, like the perms and the braids were actually first impression West Coast school exactly. Man, it was especially you guys affiliation. Yeah. Yeah, but it's crazy though. It's crazy because East Coast hip hop raised us, you know what shows like I know everything about every m sea that ever came up because because I was like a student that like, so I followed everybody that came up from the East Coast. It's just that when in w A and Easy he came out, we related more to them in the lifestyle it was living because that's how we was on the streets in Cleveland, you know what I'm so we rerelated more than them, and we just attracted to more how they lived on the West Coast. Yeah, because because was it was it intentionally where dickies at the time. I mean, I mean that's that's what we were in Cleveland, Like we were the flannels, the fouls in the in the in the skull caps and you know what I'm saying, Like we walked around like that. So we was like, okay, yeah, we want to be what he's eating them on the west Was that style? Like was it other people doing the cleaning just y'all? But just us just I'm gonna tell you, like we may with influenced the whole style, and I got a chance to talk to him and turn him this was big Dirty came one of my favorite rappers. And I'm saying one of my favorite rappers. I should think I was Big Jay came back in the day nor Yeah, okay, cutting the brows over I cuts yeah, saying so so um I was. I was locked up in the county jail one time and I was listening to I was watching like I think it was like h rap City with the mayor on it, and he played like a big Daddy Kane video and can't spent one rome he was like and he stopped and I was like, yo, somebody tod that and they did the whole entire versetw to be insane. So I just like, I went my sale and had now the papers. I wrote the rhyme on the toilet on the toilet piece of toilet paper, and I just went like, and that's the same rap I said for easy on the phone. The raptor got up. Sound like the toilet paper right now, that's happened. That's that toilet paper got down. Holy, So you talked too easy, then what's what happens after that? Man? He was like, uh, he was like yo. First of all, he was in he was in the office with I think um Jerry Hello was in the office, and I think Um Hutch from a button loger was in there. Because after I finished rapping, he was like, man, hold on from one second, hold on one second, like where y'all. Friend was like, we're from Cleveland, because I hold on one second. Then he walked in another room and put me on speaker and he was like, say that rap again, and then I said it again, and I heard him in the background like damn, you know what something like you know, like like where y'all from? So we was like, we're from Cleveland. Easy, was like, I gotta showing Cleveland in two weeks. So I'm gonna call y'all back in two hours and we can talk. But but at the time, the people we were staying with, the female, she leaves the house and she locks the phone in the room like she going the whole day, like the all day we're here in the phone like just could be easy. We need to kick this doing. But we're like, you know, we ain't got nowhere to live out here in the you know. Like so so he was like you know, he said he was gonna be in Cleveland. We went straight to hustle up. We got to call in our family, like, yo, we need money to get back to Cleveland, because to do the game was a number. He told us. He was like, if y'all make it back to Cleveland, I can guarantee y'all to open the spot on the show. And he was like trying to get with him, but he's saying, they got a spot and Cleveland in two weeks. Yeah, and you say guaranteed if you get back to Cleveland, yeah you're gonna open up. Yeah, yeah, we may. We managed to get back. It was a crazy bus rap back. We don't had no money riding back on the on on the Grayhound and she was crazy, you was saying, on this bus starving and ships. So we get back. We opened up the show and we're go on stage and then Easy don't go on stage. And then after Easy then went off. We we we just blended like we was part of the entourage and made it to the back made it made to the backstage area, but I didn't make it in the dressing room. So we outsat the door and yellow Yellow Boy come up sat and we're like, yo, man can be wrapped for you and he's like, yeah, go ahead, and so we started busting the wrap we did on the phone and Easy stuck his head out, was like, yo, y'all the dudes I talked to on the phone and he was like, hell, yeah, that's us and he was like me, we had the hotel after and then after that it was a wrap wow. And that was during the height of the beef right already. For Yeah, I was just about to ask you what time is this, Easy, because especially when we watched the movie and you see uh, the ttermorial drey leaving and Drake, this is when Dre is what this is. Aftermath is like aftermath. This is when death Row was for him. Yea yeah, yeah, yea yea yeah because great, um, because because the chronic that came out, it was out and that yeah, okay, yeah he's on death He's on death Row. Yeah, and um and Easy. This was a little while after Easy had dropped the real compen cyg because we we was on some of those shows with him at the time, like when y'all was this and Dre to keep no no no, no, no, I mean, don't get it twisted. Like we we signed up for it, Like we was like, yo, bro, Like even even though Easy told us he was like, I don't want y'all involved with this because this is like people think this is a uh death row ruthless thing. This is simply a dr dre Easy he misunderstand. He was like, I don't want y'all like really involved with this because I mean they had plans to do other things, man like Easy to do what they had plans to do other things like and a lot. You know what I'm saying, Like Easy really wanted to n w a reunion, but he really really in the movie that's not playing around when they said, oh really, I he was serious about that life. When you know what we've seen in the movie, I thought that was just like Hollywood antics. I didn't know they were really before he passed away. There was because because when he got rid of Jerry Heller, he started to realize you know, you know, like y'a met Jerry Heller. Correct, Yeah, okay, So to keep from that when he got really hell yeah, you know, he started feeling a certain kind of weight lot, you know, like this was rob He was like, you know what I'm saying. So it's like I think when he saw that, you know, he wanted to pass the funk with the rest of the Fellers man, and and it was all down man, you know what I'm saying. It just didn't like things just didn't line up at the proper time to like to make it happen. But yeah, definitely. And did you get to meet Cuban Dre back then or no? No, no, we actually met um. We actually Mad Cube after Easy passed away. We actually made yeah Dre after Um No, no, no, we actually met Dre one night when we first signed the Easy and we was we performed at the Princess Club the Metropolis I think was um and we performed that jet and Dr Dre came backstage and he was like, yo, yeah, so I heard y'all supposed to be the ship right And even though there was beefing, we was like Dr Drake said, we supposed to be. They're talking about it, you know what I'm saying. So, man, we was high. God dam let's make some noise for that. I'm not gonna lie. I feel like it's shot time. Let's do it, man. And you're gonna stick with the hard brown because all show it's about getting people flowers, pass me some some rock, watermelon whatever water might he not than what you drink about Mowana. I don't drink that ship. Whatever you do after just homemade ship. I don't recommend it. It's homemade ship. Don't recommend it. Man. So all show is about giving people flowers. Crazy won't and we gotta give you flowers, broc show. You gonna do a seperate, separate one over there because that's your drink. Yeah, you know you got take a shot, just a little shot. Yeah, yeah, okay, cool, let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Take it down, Take it down, Take it down, Take it down. How you do it? So now we spoke about Easy. I want to get more than the depth of Easy later, but we spoke about Easy. It's not only like you guys worked with Big and Pop, but it almost seemed like you guys was the only ones to work with Big impoc. Wow, they would beef. Is that true? All my outside of looking and looking yeah, yeah it really. I mean it may be like some other rappers out there that maybe dead, you know what I'm saying, But as far as I know, we don't. In the group. You're like get a chance to work with don't like why like you don't want to to both beefing and everything, and we managed to stay clear and the whole yep, bef like like and this is this was a time when you couldn't send the record. You'll had to beat in the studio. Yeah, oh yeah, right now what no email and sending records? Man, you had to be there, you know, like Puff Callers and was like, yo, Big once y'all here and he was like, let's go, let's do at the time. Yeah, okay, So so what happens then you can fly to New York? No, no, we actually in l A and uh and it was out in l A and Puff call Steve you know yo, big big one, the fellers on the albums. Can can they come through? It was like, bro, say no more we did. We jumped up when right over there when the studio, Big had to sat out and Big Head like hennessee the weed fors win this nigga session and indulged in passing out but passed out in the session. Um, I think this is the first time a real will East Coast rapper because he kind of is it called emulated y'all like he was he was deliberately like y'all fit perfectly, like trying to sound like at first, did it sound weird because he's like damn, like he's getting it hard. It didn't sound weird at all because like actually in the in the um because I told you, like we had fail to sleep in the studio and like like we woke up no no, no, Big at Steve like the nig is cool. Was like yeah, yeah, yeah, they're cool, and they're like or something drinking drinking smoking. But then like like as soon as we woke up, like we jumped right up and win in the booth, we all win and and later off versus like bam bam man and Big was in there. It's like, you know, these mothers just sleep on the couch and didn't even just went the of the verses like that. He was like yo, So we sat there with the beat. He told Puff, He was like, yo, I'm gonna take the ship back to New York women and they're like so he didn't lay his verse. He took the ship, studied it went back and and we didn't hear the verse after he passed away. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, we heard. We heard the album like when it came out and that's when we heard the verse, Like we didn't hear him too, and yeah, we were sitting there like yo, this it's crazy, like he killed the ship. Like I'm like, yo, this thing just came all the way in and just killed it for really, Okay, now I'm not moving on. There's very few beats in hip hop that when I hear it, I get nervous. I just wanted, I just wanted. I don't know, I just want to shoos just shooting all the other wack. It's nothing. They don't stop shooting even all the shot. That's crazy. What was that y'all beat? Or that was his beat? Who was the boss? Who? Actually? Uh d unique made to beat? And it's crazy because the beat was for Easy Eat. It was a beat we had actually wrote a song for Easy It was called Artillery Shop and it was easy No no, no, no no no, no, okay no easy stock. Yeah yeah, yeah we wrote it for him. But like when Easy uh passed and you know, like whatever was going on, Like Busy had run in the pop out of traffic in l A. And you know that every time we saw him here we had been talking about like doing some doing some music. So they finally got in the studio and Unique was like, Yo, this was the first beat I played, and Popple like, that's the one. Let's go. He didn't waste no time after you can tell to no other beat. He was like, that's the one. Let's go. Dropped this version as it was done, and then we came in later and heard and was like, oh, Ship, put it down. But Busy was in the studio with Pop when the when that song was done, so y'all wasn't We were talking before you got here, and he was saying about the name of the track. You just said reminded me of you guys wearing fatigues, and you were saying, how like you were surprised they were wearing fatigues before. You know what's crazy? Before CNN like, what's the we came out ninety seven, We came out, you know, Doug Niggers. Yeah, I was in jail at ninety four when you came out, so I heard, but I didn't get to feeling the whole experience. So when I'm doing the research on you today, I'm just going to go and I'm like, damn, these niggers did all that Ship before like I had to give you process. You know, if you don't see it, you think you're the first one. But from the army fatigues, from you smoking weeds, you mother's getting arrested, Your motherfucker's do Like y'all was really really living that dog life, bro, really really into it, man, And like the whole army fatigue thing came so much just being like he was always on like some milisant mind and ship like you know, you know, like going against the police just you know, like because in the hood, it's it's it's the same ship. You don't like police harassed, man, you know what I'm saying. So it was like he was totally against that. We was like, um man, we were just like proactive with any anything, uh to move like the struggle. Bro. It was like basically like black Panthers, but wasn't black panthers. We we was to tug that version of like you know what I'm saying, Like we said, man, yeah, like I mean we've been doing that man, like we we I mean, we just we just wanted to wear the army fatigued. And we was like because we soldiers, like we talked about being soldiers hood soldiers and be like, the Fatigues is our ship. So let me ask you. I spoke to a promote a while ago, and this phot had been out for thirty years. So I asked them, what was the hardest group to ever book? And his first it's like harmony, like like they get three of y'all, they'll get four y'all. Man, it's crazy, yeah, man, yo yo, man, it's just crazy. Man. It's just like I tell like being a being in bone, It's like it's crazy, the ups and downs, blessings and curses, you know what I'm saying. So it's like family ship, real family man, And that's why that's why we always come back together. Like no matter if we're bigger, we argue. I mean, brothers and sisters do that, you know what I'm saying. But there's never nothing that serious to like it's gonna make us. But you know, I've never sucking with you ever again, you know what I'm saying, Like, yeah, but but how hard was that? Like you know, to here promoters say that, like to get all of y'all, Like, oh man, I believe them. Ship. We wouldn't know easy niggers to deal with like a motherfucker, because the thing was like we was just like you said, like we was like we was real niggas, Like we didn't even realize the fame and like what we had accumulated that we were just niggas on the streets. And we was like, Okay, we made it, nigga, we got money. We don't saying niggas like we wouldn't realize and okay, y'all can suck this up if you'll like quit being like this. You know, it took us a whiler like to, you know, because we still had one ft in the game, one ft on the street, and we had to learn, like everybody else, they can't be like that, you know what I'm saying, Like you gotta choose one. You gotta choose, you gotta choose the street, so you gotta choose this business. We've been the street round, but we get try to get away from there, you know. Like it was like, man, we just like I had to make that decision for real, even for us. We thought we almost had all y'all drink chumps here too, b Yeah, and then something happened that day we were here. We were ready to rock. Yeah, yeah, I tell people, man, you get all bone man. Okay. So we got this game that we played on on Drink Champions called Quick Time and Slide. You can pick one or the other if that's what you're feeling. But if you're feeling both, you gotta take a shot. If you stop feeling either, you gotta take a shot. But it's pretty simple. It's pretty simple. But we're gonna get your shot glass ready though, we're gonna get you shot glass. But we were drinking, were drinking with you. We ain't leaving you out there. End of dog. Okay, all the way, you're sleeping on the watermelon coolada. It's fantastic. By the way, this is Mama Wanna can. No one knows who makes it. Don't don't drink that ship not just play just Dominican Finest. Okay, now that's what jay z na. Okay, I don't like this one, but in my ass, big pun or DMX shots right there, brother, don't worry about it. Damn yeah, I can play along. Get your okay. I don't know where you're gonna go with this one. Ice cubea scarf base man coming, give me a drunk. Don't want you to win. Tapping to night we're going you god, Salo Salo, it should be easy for you podcast radio podcast. Yeah, I knew that. I don't like this one either, guys, because he has to pick the right way. You gotta give him some easy ones. Correct, don't lead him into the answer he's easy or dr dre. This this one keeps repeating Rick Ross or Jada Kiss, Jada Kiss. Okay, I don't know where you're gonna go with this one. This is very political. They setting you up over there. They get you some easy ones, but they get some hard ones. Okay, biggie or tuopap shot. They're good over there. They eat some sweet ones and then they come back for the attack. Okay, you don't gotta poor heavy Well yeah, yeah, I'm bored more heavy because he want the average Okay, n w A T I would say, in w A just because you know they raised me. Okay for Rale or Kanye Kanye, you'd like to dawn that album? I haven't heard you ship. It's a gospel album. Oh yeah, there's it. It's another one. You know, I like this another problem. Let me take a stop for that. Moving on, East coast, West coast both both okay, goddamn man, don't forget to solve many solot cheers. Can We got the soft coming up La Miami, Miami. Man. I thought I would be a little that's say too. I'm not gonna lie right now. This is one keeps popping up as well, and for oh this is actually good because I've got your little smoke. The locks of the megoes. The locks okay, you know we got the ax y No, I mean because they I mean they just made locks of hip hop. Man like, that's that's that's that's culture right there, that's culture. But you know, I just I just want to protect you because the people are gonna say when you say the locks is hip hop, you're also implying that the megos is not. But I'm saying, where where the lock is hip hop? That I sunk with, Yeah, that's that's a great idea. Yes, I accept, Okay, except I was trying to force that into a shot. It doesn't work. It doesn't work. Okay, this one, I know, I don't know what you're gonna go outcast a U G K Man sign both come on sign come on? Okay classic both of them. I wouldn't be able to pick neither for real. Okay, Nikki or Cardi b Niki okay, Queen Latifa, em c light God. They almost to save people to men. You know what I'm saying a little both of them? Yes, Yes, because I little Yeah o G or sobur diesel o G. I knew he was gonna go there. Booty or juvenile. Uh, I'm gonna say boosy okay, mob deep or dog power mom deep Okay, loyalty or respect? Uh? Lord, I know where you're going with this one. Lebron or Jordan le Bron because chick yo yo or the Lady of Rage Lady of Rage Okay, cash money or no limit, no limit Wayne or Drake nineties verse two thousand, Hip hop nineties Okay, Little Kim or Foxy Brown Kim Pop Daddy versus masterp Pete. Okay, Let's make some boy. We talked to Tom got jamming Holy Mode Guacamo and he was quick about it. He was quick about it, was quick about it, and he took his shot as quick as it was. Yeah, he took a shot. He took a shot. Got damn Holy Moe Guacamole. So what's your favorite part of the game. Is it making the music or performing in music. Um, both of those everything else that's shop of that then, I mean, I mean you still I thought we quit, but you want to keep it going. You want to yeah, man, you got a point of Yeah, everything else, everything gets in between those two and shitty man, like the business, you know, like you got to deal with you just take the shots of the count. Okay, all right, yeah, continue to you. I'm sorry the business and you know so I find like the most fun and like creating a song and thedn't getting to go performing for the people, you know what like that, that's the enjoyment you get out of this whole ship. Energy back from exactly you said something that just touched me just now. You said the business and all that. I because you know, tragedy who put me on right and you know, me and him out great with great friends now. But you know it was a discripor scene for us when I found out how contracts worked, when I found out publishing work and to a certain extent, you know again with great now with great friends. But I was a little disappointed when I found out, like like not that I don't want to say that he jerked me, but he just did the standard industry contract as opposed to you know, I'm your homie, dude, Like you know what I'm saying, like we're want to block. Did you ever go through something like that? Yeah, I mean I mean not really, but like I get what you're saying. But because that's that's that's that's one thing, Like you know, I'm tired of hand like these like like these labels saying they're black owned and you know what they're doing all this, but they're treating their artists the same way, like the cycle is not being broken. You know what I'm saying. It's like, okay, like if you want to be black going, then this cycle has to be broken like the way these artists has been treated, Like you can't treat your artists the same way you got treated like you posted learning. But you know what, I ain't gonna I ain't I ain't gonna treat mine like that, you know, like just like wh when you when when you when you grew up, you have a funked up life. You had kids like you know what, my kids come away better like to me. So that's how the ship should be like because that's the only way that cycle is gonna get broken. And these artists gonna start to flourish and turn from artists to bosses to keep putting other people on what I'm saying. So it's like that that that part of the game frustrating me because like niggas always on screen but not gonna independent, but they ain't really doing nothing for the acting some something in certainty the situations that worse than than the labels. That was exactly exactly, And they're taking advantage because you know, you could you could actually say you my homie, you're my family, like when you say your black owned. It's easier. It's easier to trick me, you know what I'm saying when um exactly. Yeah, But okay, so all right, moving on. We talked about the person of not in death right what so we just spoke about it and we don't speak about you niggas is in the studio? Mm hmm. What make y'all say? It's the first of the mind. First of all, we had that, we had the song like most of what you heard on Our Creeping on the come Up album, the first EP and that second album Eternal. We had all that ship pre reading about that you had everything and we had I mean imagine the verse he spent. He broke the chain already had first of the month organized, and the people joint was, um, what I'm saying. I know what I'm saying. Imagine that. I imagine they had all these records already done. Yeah, okay, but how the first of the first of months special? Yeah? Because but me, me and Busy we were sitting there, my mom was from Porch and Busy was like, bro, I gotta I got an idea for a song about the first of the month when people get their checks. I was like, that's dope. And then he started saying like, it's the first of that so cashing checks, and I was like, that's dope. And then I stayed there and then I had to wake up, wake Up, wake Up, wake up, because I was listening to the Marvin Gate song one day and I was like, yeah, we need to put that in there, like to wake up, wake up. You know what I'm saying. And so we had the versus and the hook before we even met Easy, before we even knew Easy, like all this stuff we had in our heads. So when we used to go in the studio and they would put up beats, We're going there like they're sitting there and there like, yo, how the fund y'all? Was that the first single? Uh? No, no? What was the first single off? Yeah? Yah yah it was the first thingle right who produced that record? These are unique and you went and I imagine that with Platinum about the game bro like crazy like Brocord, Oh yeah yeah yeah, who can't relate to the first of the month? Bro? People went crazy on that Rekord. I was like yeo, like we were getting you got to think about it. It was crack dealer's anthem everybody, everybody, everybody. It was people who can live the newspapers anthem everybody. No, it was like, this is a universal first of the month. Everyone gets paid on the first of the month, They get their welfare checks on the first of the month, they get that free che on the front of the durst of the month. Holy walk up on and take a shot for the first of the month, man, and we CoA to the first tomorrow tomorrow, my constant. Let's what's my own cup? Okay, here we go, that's it. We ain't got no more. Okay, first of taking a shot for the first of the month. Yeah yeah, Now I get the bather so my weeds, gone's yours? What you got over there? Okay, I got a little bit horrst coming up over the voice over. There's the Luis Papa cheat. So first of the month comes out successful, hugely successful, hugely successful. Are you guys knowing what you guys are into or this is like, man, we're young. We didn't really I mean, I mean, yeah, yeah, I mean has success and that's your CEO. So I'm sure he has to come to you and say, your motherfucker's is out of here. Yeah, oh yeah, yeah, I'm gonna make it in Cleveland. Because when we started blowing up in Cleveland, like we was the ship, like, so we was like, we don't get about nowhere else, just as we didn't said that at home, like we weren't even tripping, like we weren't even thinking about how the how the rest of the world like perceived us, because we was so in our bubble in Cleveland just like just enjoying our success and they're be like, oh, y'all sound the easy. Like when we stepped up and started doing shows and we saw the crowd reaction, like we're sitting there sometimes like like you know what the fund is wrong with the people, like because girls was like tripping, like girls was like passing. I was like, God, you know in the black community, you got good head. You're like, he got good head. He got any of his family. You know you got any of this family. All y'all had good head. I'm saying, I'm sorry, I got a little wind. It was too much, too fast. Y'all expected to quickly. No, we didn't expect that ship that was growing the years before that. Hell yeah, but they were still real young. What I'm saying happened kind of quickly in that time period. I mean, the ground force was a long time. But then when we got we finally got with easy, like somebody that could really take us there. The ship was like damn man. One day we was in the studio. Next day he called us like turn the radio on. Your song was on the radio, and it was like and we was in l A. We called him up in Cleveland, like we didn't. We're on the radio in Cleveland. They're like, what were you talking about? Like they were on the radio, listen turn this stead of there, Like, oh, ship, why don't playing in Cleveland? Y'all ain't made it yet. He was only playing in Cleveland on Cleveland something like, she was on the radio power, I'm out of the game. I'm out of the game. The game got there. So all right, where are you at when you first heard your record on the radio? Was that that situation? Just scribed yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. So we was in a hotel. It was in the hotel room in California and snooty fox no, no, no, had I don't know why through the snooty Foxy some of y'all niggers is looking back like what yeah, what if you know? Man, if you know, you know, say this snwty fox baby, that's that's how you know I was. I was a little out of control. I was hanging out the snooty fox. Man. I knew, I knew I wasn't in the right place, man, but I was there. I was there. I was there with the crazy West ahead. So what hotel you was? That? I forgot, man, because we say so many hotels out there. But we're in the hotel and easy callers like yo, turn on the radio and we turned the little clock radio, returned the one for going and turned to the townel that she was like, it's the Duggs Rugg and We're like, yeah, we told that hotel up something like it up like yo song on the radio made it like Roy TV. The Iron Boy finished, I love rock star stories the cocaine involved, right, not a little bit? Okay, So boom, you guys just did broach to the month. What's the second single after the album? The second single of the album was we did um It's okay, that's in my notes here. It's how that's how you know? Because okay again, I'm from ninety seventh Street, ninety seven Dash thirty fifty seven abue. The block that we hung in when I came home from jail was ninety ninth Street. M So when niggas is saying East ninety nine, we claiming, y'all like a mother, that's the still blocked used to hang out, so inscribed the people from New York from l A that it's never been to East nine and nine. Tell them what is East n East and nine? You know it's a man. That's pretty much what we did, all of our like all our dirt said that was that was That was the street, like we claimed. Although I lived all over St. Clair like I lived all I've lived on St. Clair. My whole life. But like I was born on I was born Um, I mean I was raised on ninety third Street, but then my mom moved to ninety nine. But I was like sixteen seventeen, and you know what I'm saying, I started cooking with them dudes over there, and you know, it was just like we just started claiming it. We we called the street the double block. We we we shot the blocks of nine clock. Yeah, I get it. We got of the double blot. People like, yeah, we're on the double blot. You know what I'm saying. We we shot. We shot the street lights out so the police would never ride down on the street. They were right, they were right to the end of our street. Shine the lights down and keep pushing when they already when they came, we just stood behind trees and poles like you know what I'm saying, Like when they flashed the lights and they kept pushing, they never saw us like so it was it was, it was. It was a criz And then like we had like a fit. We called it the bone yard. We should stand there like when it was cold in the winter time, when like burn Barry was like to stay warm. When we was out there hustle you know what, saying, police should come any time chases put our fires out and said, like they leave, we come back like the fire right back up? Do I think you know what saying like for Jesus so now no hold but he said, you said bo. So how did the name how y'all come up with the name bone? Yeah? Uh? Man? At first, I mean when we was in when we was in high school, junior high school together, we formed a group called the band Aid Boys. Show you all, I'll do my notes look bad day boys. Second, yeah, yeah, let me know. Yeah remember just you and Flash. You know it was in junior high school. It was me, Flash Lazy and another dude named k Chill. He was a local artist in Cleveland. Like you know what I'm saying, like and so and so we was after after junior high school though, like you know that all this man, oh, we started hustling. You know what I'm saying That lay Lazy had called a case. He got locked up. He went, they sent him over with the Texas and they with his parents and then when he came back he was like, yo, man, I was down there in Texas. I clicked up with some niggas and we had this little thing called it was called Bone Enterprise, and I was like, oh okay, and he was like we all had Bone dames, and Lazy Bone was actually Busy Bone. At first he was like yeah. He was like my name was Busy Bone. Dude was doesn't such bones such and such. He was like, I think this should be our name, Bone Enterprise because we family and we sid all have a bone name. And I was like, okay, I'm Crazy Bone, and then he was like I'm Lazy Bone. And from that point it was only us too. It was only crazy and Lazy. That's why our name is Rhyan because like we was the foundation. Like we entered tinding shows together. Nikas called us kid and played cris cross because people's light skinned darts getting nig they had to hire to high fate. I had to raid. He got yeah, bro. So it was just me and Late and like um as we went on. You know what I'm saying. Um. When we got to high school, we met Busy. We met Busy Bone and uh he used to tag along with us and like lay never wanted to lead him in the group. They was like because Busy always wanted to be in the group and they was like, I don't know if he snicked a little nigg in the group. I was like, let the little nig in the group on what I'm saying. Like, and Label was like one time we did a talent show and we want we we qualified to the finals and then we let him get in the group and yo man after that and after that we was rocking. It was us three. He would he he was busy bone. It was lazy bone, busybone and crazy bone. And you know, Wishing wish Bone is fleshing bones and lazy bones cousin because Flesh and laziest brothers, you know I'm saying, so he their cousin. So um, Wish was just always around, like Wish was a street always Whish was kicking indoors and doing all types of ship you know what I'm saying. Like he was just like real real like street like for real And so he wasn't really chipping off wrapping until he saw how serious we was. And when we started leaving the streets alone, he was like, yeah, I wanted to do it too. And he was bullshitting for a long time, but any funny guest serious. And then Flesh in Flesh joined a officially joined Bone after he brought us out to l A when he told us this world you know where was that like? So yeah, so no, no Mold Dog because it seems like Bone Dogs was to come out group, right, Old Dog was actually fat? Then you have an office? Yeah, bro, all that, bro, bro, everything, Like I told you, we had all those songs written, every our whole ship we had mapped out. We was like, when we make it, We had a whole camp. We said, when we make it, whoever makes it first in our camp. We said, whoever makes it first, We're gonna come back and get the rest of the people. We happen to make it first in our camp. So we went back and got everybody. We got everybody that that was down with us, you know what I'm saying. Like, so we like we had this already planned. We already had planned when we get on, we're gonna go get them. We're gonna put some solo albums out. I mean, duke a few group albums and didn't start doing solo albums. We had all this playing already. Everything for Real's now I'm bouncing around a little bit. I'm coming. Oh, I'll come back to this one, right there, but one of the you you have so many universal records, so I'm gonna get to one of them. And riding dirty to this day, everybody getting their call and they know they've got a little something, little something sullionaire they put on. And especially when you like riding legal dirty, because you know this is this is a dirty dirty. It's like a legal dirty, like you got your gun is registered, but you still got illegal man on them. So dirty. But just the same way I'm riding, so you knowing on the nose, especially your Florida dig gun licenses, not marijuana license, someway and then you got coca. You gotta license, gun license, but you got okay, this don't conceal weapon for tacks, sir, You're going to t D jacks, t ok couples clean to the county. Though let me gets cleaning the county being disrespective right now, let me just tell you something. T DK t G K t G and I got to go there any day before you come and tell you what they do. They put the a c up. Oh yeah, it's calling the motherfucker. It's like that's how c is up. It kills the germs, it does that's how you know you're in the fun up jet it it's cold, that's the science. It's they don't feel them. Okay, so Born come in there is on fire. He's doing this thing. But he called you, he said, I want you to get on this record. Does he send you the record and you're getting the studio together? How is this bro? He sent me the like he sent me the record for his project even came out, I didn't know what the nigger was like, Like, I simply deal the record on the strength of the producers, which is playing skills. Man, Like there was my little dude, you know what I'm saying. Like they came on till with us. I watched these little dudes hustle and come up from nothing, real hustlers, you know what I'm saying. Like, so like they I was in, um, they brought me. They actually brought me out to do the song that I did with them in the Diana Howard the freaks you know, say they brought me out there and yeah, yeah, yeah, no no no no no no no, no no no no. It brought her in and they did like a remake of not a remake of her something. But they made a song called freaks and brought her in because she had yeah yeah, but yeah. So so I was down there doing that song and it was like, yo, it's it's just dude out here, just like really like heating up out here, like locally like this dude's like blowing up and he's a huge Bone fan and he wants you to get on the verse. Okay. So because you said they're not from the Lando the from Skills, I don't know they from Texas Zone, Okay, okay, okay, yeah my bad. Yeah. So um so they was like yeah, do once you get on. So I was like, cool, yeah, let's do it, bro. I went in here and done the verse on the strength of the love for them. I didn't even think the song was gonna come out because I know for me, like you just before, the song never come out. I'm like, okay, just do this and never come out. Cool. So I did. I went to lay my verse like and like at the time, it was just a hook on the verse. So that's why if you listen to the verse, he talking about he's not ritting dirty. I'm talking I'm riding dirty. The mother on the san I'm like, goddamny. I didn't know you seeing about like I don't like said they have to meet it and goddamn what I'm saying, Like but yeah, yeah, I'm just like so that's what it was. And then like uh so the song, Like we did the song and like a few months later playing Skewers called me like, yo, Bro, like this um like this, dude, this really blowing up with his first single, Like yo, he getting traction out here, Like we might be calling you for this video. I said, Bro called me whenever you know, I'm down. So like a few weeks went past and it was like, yo, bro, this is on the radio the song you did. We need the video, so they paid for me lazy and wished to come down and being a video becamet gotten the video if you want. Like months after that, they're like, yo, Bro, I need you to come and do these all these big shows you're doing, Like just do this, dude, I'm there. I did it. Then he comed and say, Bro, I needed to come to the Grammy Awards we nominated. I say, Bro, you bullshit, like he said, Bro, we wont I say what? He said? No? We won? I was like, what we want a shot for that? I don't even I don't even so in my intro when I introduced you, I forgot to say Grammy Award. We absolutely did. I did say Grammy. Know you forgot? I forgot. Yeah, So let's just take a shot for Grammy Award winner. Holy Mormy dropping over. I lost every time I went to the Grammy. Just so you know me better, I told you out I hate the game at the player. So you win a Grammy. This is your first Grammy or no second one? First I one with Bone for a Crossroads. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, and then it is a good into well answering my questions before. I like that that I like, I like, I like the floor. So your second Grammy, What's what happens to your second Grammy? I mean ship man like? And this was like at the point where people was like, oh, we're having a bone and then like it came with this song and it's like Mariah came hold you my notes. No no no, no no no no no. I'm just saying she reached back. What I'm saying, But the whole, the whole thing that set it off was the whole thing with Little John too. I got what I'm saying. I'm just saying that. I'm just saying a little John Catt, you little joll yeah. Hold hold okay, okay, I gotta stop you for some second. You're too good, You're too experience to experience. Okay, okay, let's go with a little John. I don't give a fuck. It's crazy, yo. Yeah, still make listen. I'm gonna be honest. I don't give out old you get You're going to count her that now, that's right, Gondy watch give a full bro. So, So this is when I was at I was in my I was liking I was living in Miami at the time, like when I did this record and I was working and did you still live at my Yeah? Yeah, yeah, my nigga disco Rick. You know what I'm saying. Lesson right there, that's my homiere. That's my dude right there. You know what I'm saying. So I'm messing with disco Rick. So when I come, so Rick tell me to I'm at the house. Rick called me like, Yo, come to the studio. John wants you on the song. I'll say, he said, mystical Mystico just later Verse killed it. So I go in there. I go in the studio and later verse John like we this is a single. I'm like, okay, yeah, she just called me for the video whenever, like like a month old later, he called me down in Atlanta to shoot the video, bro, And that's it, like was like out And it was at the time that Bone was on solid moments, so people was like, oh, you know what I'm saying. So then like Mariah come calling for like a remix. This is not before years solo on Loud, is it? Uh no, No, You've already done your stuff, right yeah, yeah, yeah, yea yeah. Because that that was also hold on because we get to my ride to make sure we get back to y. But that's also a question I wanted to ask your relationship with Steve Rifkin. I guess he just alluded to that. That was just yes, because everything else was on Ruthless, but your solo was on Loud. My first solo record was on Mentality was on Relativity Records. Relativity okay, yeah, but they didn't do took over MLP. Everybody went over there, and who was the CEO of Relativity at the time was the ground Black And okay, he hired us today. I hadn't been around for a minute. That's the only Yeah, yeah, yeah, definitely yeah man, but yeah yeah, we yeah for sure. And then how did you migrate into Steve Rippin and Loud because they took over the company. Actually, you know, um, it was like it's kind of it's kind of like where it was Steve Ripkin, like when I say that you cool, you know what I'm saying, but that it was a lot of stuff that didn't go right with that project that should have happened. That really like let's talk about it. Oh yeah, ok, here like our I really don't feel that like Steve Ripkin really understood that dynamics of Bone and and I tested, like I tested on one time because I'm like, you know, what's your favorite song? And of course if you stay cross, what's your favorite song? You're just on top of the surface, bone fan, You're not really You're not really like you know what I'm saying, like a Bone fan. You just know what what what our best records are, Like I mean, what our most successful records are. So like you know, like so I knew they didn't really understand the dynamics of Bone throws in Harmony and what we and who we were, and you know it was just like, bro, it just pissed me off. One time they the add one time for my album, for my tug on the Lion album and under it was a bunch of scribble scrabble, like literally scrible. Wasn't even words where. It was a bunch of alphabets, like I didn't say when the album can I'm like, your son with us is I'm like it was crazy like so and and then and then when when when I got worried that Loud was going to fold before, like I got word from my attorney like, Yo, I'm getting worried the LOUD is going under and you in the middle of your project. I was worked. So I go to Steve Riskin and I asked and I say, yo, bro, like it's this shoe. He said, what, No, not at all, not you No, no, no, no. Two weeks later they folded. I'm like and I'm like, you know what I'm saying. I'm like, bro, I did, just keep it real with me, like all the I'm not a soft fastnig. Just tell me what the truth is. I can handle it forever, like no lah, And it was just like that, you know what I'm saying, Like so every time I see him the very now. I didn't. He said, you know, like, oh you we got a holla, but it's I ain't your It's got deep right now. Oh yeah, you don't think it was ever because they inherited too many artists from the relative Oh yeah, that was probably They didn't. They didn't probably, but but but I felt like they had the opportunity to let the ones to God what and that you know what I'm saying, Like, I think they just kept me just for the building, right because I traded bone harm and that's going to sell some records because I worked the streets for a lot of that time we worked your record. He was on the streets. He was a young kid. He's got the vine right there. And I know that showing we were friends. Yeah, we were, we had we was working the records. So but I remember it was too much. My homegirl was just right here when their girl she was there like the whole time, like she used to work for a lot. Like at the same time I was remember Buddha that was working. Yeah, that was the sty Oh yeah, y'all real hip hop right now. I like this ship. I mean, that's the industry side of working the ship, Holy Ship. So so basically you fun with Steve, but you felt like there were things that could have been done better. Definitely for so you know, yeah, for sure, for sure. I mean, for one, you know, I had a I had a single on that album with a man they has never known a rapper ever? Ever, how did you get that? And she cleared this song. Not only did she clear the song, she gave me she she she um gave me the footage to her song to put her silhouettes in my video. So she was actually in the video and like she she has never done it before and she never had since. Then like, no, lie, I'm not gonna lie. You went to Paul but wait, wait, now, hold up. We learned something on Drink Champs and I don't know if it applies to you. Someone was telling us that after a certain amount of years, all the rights of your of your music revert back to your Cameron told you. That's not not what he said. He's no, no, But I'm just wondering that's not doesn't happen in this released this music. It's crazy you said that clears you just said, you just said shot. They gave you original record. Yeah, she gave me. She gave me original footage from her video. This isn't know that, this is no crazy. She gave me, no, no, no, no, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. It was that mama being laid off and we're good papa being laid off. That's something right there. That's it right there. Hard time hustling, yo. And I found out the reason that she really clearly because at the time of her husband was a huge Bone fan and when they went to it, he was like, yo, clear this record, trust me clearing and she cleared it and gave me footge of her in the video. They was like, yo, there was like we did not think we was gonna like and this was Steve Rifkin and they was like, we did not think he was gonna get this record clear at all. And it was like, this is amazing for real. So we're running with it. So do you own the stuff now? Oh yeah, I want the masters to the to those records to my first solo album and say on the master to these, So that is true. They all reverted after Cinemounty, oh yeah, oh yeah, after after thirty years. Oh yeah. So and this is something this is and this is something artists need to know, like read your contract, because the artists read these contracts and they think, like when they lead them labels, it's a rap. You can just leave your stuff over there. No, like there's clauses in there. They legally they can only hold your masters for only so long. But you have to be on. You have to be on a point because if you missed that date to where they revert back to you, then they got a chance. You got That's what we're doing because you see the Soul got their masters back there exactly, exactly all these artists can do that. So is that something that Bone is doing it collectively? Collectively? Yeah, wow, it's beautiful for show. That's beautiful because it was ruthless relativity, ruthless regularly relativity, Sony Columbias, all of the crazy for real. Yeah yeah, y'all, y'all was a lot of labors kidding. Yeah, man, I mean we don't. We haven't really been on every like we've been on Universal Interscope, Sony Colombia, Like we've been like like around you know what it was like we know the game and popped everybody just exactly. It's when we clapping, I'm saying, trying to bring the terminology finger popping back, you know what I'm saying, Like just a terminology, you're not the actual finger popping you know what I mean for the terminology, like you know you hit second base? Ship ship got real? Yeah? Soccer hate soccer? Man hate soccer. I don't know. I don't like like like, I don't like you like soccer. You don't like socker, keep it with cleaning, that mean like no, no, no, I mean you don't crazy. I'm trying to watch it, man, but they still be frust rate, Like they get way down and they don't kick the ball, and I'm like, goddamn, it would be a three hour game for two points the way back down. Look, come on, there's no disrespect. But I just can't watch the ship hockey. Lets take too long that damn. But I just watched the ship motherfucker on hockey on Netflix. Um it's called the Untold Story of Hockey Mafia. Niggas and Hockey Mafia. That's fighting. That they fighting, That's that's what they did. They was the dudes that invented that. As soon as you blow the whistle, who he just take his gloves off and just started. There's no hockey there's no sportsman shipping ball I was watching on Netflix. I just want you to know, like I stay at home. You know what I'm saying. You know what I mean? The Points record the Panther Joint. Oh yeah, man, yeah, y'all were all in the studio that that video was. Bro. That's what's the crazy shit ever be because like this was the first time, like yo, this was the first time we went to that was D and D studios. This is so crazy, bro, because it's like, like what year did they come out? Bro? What's so crazy? What's so crazy is this is when Easy had brought us to New York, like this one Easy, like like this one that um in the movie, I feel when he saw that's when all that happened around the same time. Okay, I went too far. Remember that that story where Cube saw Easy in the club that was in the tunnel, Bro, Bro, Bro, But it was the historical night from I remember that night like it was yesterday because it was historical for me because for one, we would Easy in New York, never been in New York ever. Before you walk into the streets and first of all, Nio Bus all the other jackets. We it's like like n w A for real, like gangster you know what we like Nick, We New York, walking the streets with Easy. He like, we're going to the club tonight. We go to the fucking tunnel. We put up to the tunnel. The nigga Heavy D it's at the front door like he's a bouncer like this. Nigga is like, what's up E. I'm like this Nigga is I'm sitting here like Nigga, this is hedy D right here and Nigga, what the fun is going on? And nigging like, Yo, I heard them. I heard of y'all niggas. Y'all niggas do y'all thing. I'm like, Nigga, this is crazy. So we go in the spot in the tunnel. We're walking through the fucking crowd. I'm walking to the crowd. I feel somebody like pulled my hood. I turned around to Nigga. LLL cool J say, Nigga, what yo this Nigga LLL Yo Yo this Nigga said, Yo, big up son, I'm watching y'all. I say, Nigga, this nigga. LLL Cool Jay just said he watching us. Nigga. So we go in this head and pull your shot for you you just telling the legendary so that you need a shot. So so we walked in and uh we walked in like behind e and like ice cubas in the club. And this is when they was having beef right right, So so we thought we were in the club. Yo, were like, oh, that's when you go down, and be like yo, that's Q and his body go down. These niggas saw each other, but it was like these niggas ain't see each other in years, like long lost brothers, Like oh shit, what's had it? Hugging like kicking it and like I'm like so that part of the movie to me was a little bit, you know, like I didn't really see the standoff like the security of ten and like Nikking saw each other and they was like brothers, bro. They was like, Yo, what's happened? They sat at the table, We sat at another booth while him and Q sat there almost the whole night. He was there chopping it up. They did show that part in the movie, but that was with dre No No, that was I'm talking when they chilled the whole night. Oh ship, Holy moly, I might be bugging in Rank and Cube says the story and he says it like you're saying that the day they just chopped it up. And that was in the tunnel. I didn't know that part, but the movie. I thought it was in the Cali. No, bro, that was the tunnel. No, I know it was in New York. It was in New York. Like he was like, because I remember my first time going in a little bit, was telling her like, yo, just the tunnels, and I'm like, Yo, the tunnels of foul place, all right? No, Yo, they got girls too, yo. Fat Joe Hill Yo wen't wasn't tell you in the next bathroom they were girls too. I was like, what then is going on in here? This is crazy? I know about the tunnel with Fat Joe. One night my nigga like and yo, Terary squad niggas, Yo, talk about it, Yo, They shut that bitch. Damn hey Joe Joe and Terry squad. They set that bitch down like something. I had a beef with this terrace squad. The squad came over there, they say, bom, y'all niggas stand right over here, stay right here, don't move. They told that bitch up nords to my wild Porto Rican. I don't think that's Dominicans and we have to check to check. Yeah, but like you don't like like Joe and like like Joe and like pun then what's the first like rappers like when we got in the game, Like then, what's the first dudes like really took us in? Like the Niggers took us in, took us to the Bronx. We had Joe coming to Cleveland. He was in our videos like so we just them in. Um naughty boy nature like to this day. Family my nigger, that's my nigger for real and one of the hillest rappers is one of my favorite, one of my favorite lyricist. No line he would come back. I think he doesn't get the property. He don't. That boy is a beast and he fokes a lot of bitches too when he was up keeping a lot of more else but he was talking about the people. No skip over, opp come on other people. Pussy is you know you got you're living that ship? Definite. He wants some old p p Yeah you know me. The sniggle was stilling nigga early. Come on bro, that wasself. Come on, come on, Suke, Let's make some mook crazy. Motherfucking bone got dam, let's finish your story. The point is it in D and D Studios or not? Bro, I forgot where it was, but like it was New York. I feel like remember because but it's it was like bam bam, it was the cutting page before it was cutting page. It was like, okay, you shoot, you do your verse time the radio. Bro, we did our verse, went in this room and bro, bro, if you go back and listen to the song, the four lines I used, it is the lines I told I said to you, like right yeah, yeah, oh yeah, it's sounded familiar. Used the first four balls in there because it was Russian, was like come on, come on, I would come on, we're done. They was like, oh that's a dope piece, you know what I'm saying, Like history, right, feel like it was this the first time I'm used the bathroom before e f the first time. Soon you get back, I'm did y'all feel it like you felt it was in the moment? Yeah, hell yeah, bro, because like we was in there like you all these motherfucker's like were rocked withood. Like I just remember standing outside like this is my most like this is the the most remember the most and standing outside watching Red Man shoot his part inside that gate a little fizy behind. I remember standing there watching that ship like, yo, if they could killing that ship, like like they just read Man like going in. You know what I'm saying. I remember watching that ship. They're like, this song's gonna be crazy. And then when I heard it, I was like, Nick, we on this check with some legendary biggest part on it, like he was there when he was doing it. Yes, everybody was like in and out like it had to be dn D haws, you can't check it. It was dn D. I feel like it was DND Studios And that's easy Mode Be produced that. Who produced that record? Do you know? I ain't sure who produced that? It was easy Mob. Yeah. I feel like that's one of the first post because of like I mean besides obviously like like a self destruction and yeah, that's like one of the first like that. Yeah, hell y it is. It is. That's why I was so down with it because I was a big fan of the other ones, like all in the same game except destruction. I like, did y'all feel like y'all were different? Because everybody's I think from New York and that record. Yeah, it was like outside, isn't it. Yeah, But we did feel like we was like we was honored that. We were like, yo, like should they notice? Is enough to have us of this motherfucker? Like it's cool? You know what I'm saying. It was like, yeah, definitely, that's crazy. Man. So this is one of the things I've been wondering. So when y'all came out and you said you had the plan to go back and bring everybody on and put everybody on do the record label. This is prior to even when Wu tang I thought of doing that their separate deals. Did you did you think the plan that you had held together? Like what went wrong with the plan at one point? To a certain extent, Yeah, yeah it did. I mean we the plan of them having all like like their business structure, to go back and put on all the other groups to a certain Yeah, to a certain extent, we did. You know what I'm saying, But we went wrong. Think like, what did you learn from that? From that whole lesson, you know, it's like dealing with doing the more thunk thing. I learned that we uh that we needed to hire professional people that knew about the business. You know what I'm saying, because like when we first started this business, but like Easy had died, we was only what what people don't know is we were only with Easy for one year, and everything we accumulated from that one year we had to like put to use from us picking from him picking us up in his beings and driving us to the studios. And we emulated all that ship with our artists picking them up like that's all we knew different that's what he did for us, So we say, this is what we're gonna do for our artists. But it wasn't enough because we didn't have the actual knowledge of the music business. We we knew what we saw, but that wasn't enough to take us where the funk we needed to beat. We we needed to sit down and like okay, Paul's dad, we shouldn't be trying to putting the artists out right now. We need to make sure our careers are steady and come back right and then come back. I feel like we've done everything like premature because he was moving so fast, we didn't have a chance to learn what was what, who was who? Don't do this, don't do that? And I think us losing easy. I feel like he would have told us that, he would have showed us that, right, So, like we didn't have no after he passed away, We didn't have no mentors. It was just us. We was mentoring each other. You cross Roads after that, right, Yeah, definitely was that what the inspiration was. I mean, yeah, the inspiration was, like I mean the first Crossroads we made if people don't know that, we did across Roads original one that was on our album, and that was for one of our homies that passed away in the hood. He was actually damn near a part of our group. You know he no no, no, no, you know you know how you have a dude, it's like he's not in the group, but he helps you do everything to further the group. That was that. I think he's in the documentary that made and Mike and he like you know what I'm saying, Like he was always like like supported, gave us right, he made sure we made all our shows like nigga, y'all know, y'all gotta make it. Come on. He was that nigger. So he got killed trying to break up a fight. You know what I'm saying. He got killed, and so we did the song for him. But after we got at the Easy signed us like we had started losing, like a lot of our people, like Wishbone Uncle Charles got robbed and killed. You know what I'm saying, Lazy Bone lost his child. Um My cousin, My cousin was murdered, one of our closest friends was murdered. And this is my brother in law. Yeah, my brother in law was murdered. And every last one of them shot in the head, every last one of them except for Lazies unborn child, every last one of them shot in the head, and nobody never found for the murder. So he was like, yo, it's like yo, bro, we we get on and we're doing all this positive stuff, but all this negative ship has happened to us, Like we like fun's going on. So we're like, we gotta pay homage. Let's remix the song and pay them homage that we didn't. We didn't do this song trying to win grand music. We like, we're doing this song for the people that passed away and for us to heal and their families. And that ship just was like the cross roads actually mean what does that word actually? Man? Cross Roads Like It's kind of funny because like you know, like when we did this song, it's like like it's the song cross roads actually, like you're going to see the person again and some cross roads and stuff like you're gonna cross together, you know what I'm saying. But had I had I had the knowledge I have now, I probably never would have made the song because I don't I don't know what I'm saying. I don't like subscribe to that. Yeah, ever, because you believe a lot more knowledge right now, you know what I'm saying. That's that's that's for the Wikimpedia. You they said you you like a littleminity or you you think nigga you don't like them niggas and rappers in a little what not? Have that? The Wikipedia wrote that the thing I think the little minati is the most I think it's bullshit and propaganda bro like, because like, how come, how can we niggas make money? They gotta be some part of the I'm like, why can't niggas just make money just making money because of what they do? Why they got to be part of some super kill somebody. Yeah, conspiracy is the conspiracy. Yeah, Like that's like I a don't even like on my podcast, like I went down there one a lot of times. But when I started doing the research, I was like, my na, I'm not about to go off speculation. I'm only going on facts. Y'all niggas speculating all day. I'm like, show me the facts, and we're talking about like we got to take another shot for that. I'm staring it out there. I feel like you just want to take a shot training it out just now. Wikipedia pages grazy for real. As soon as we went they said, he believes in the luminality, said and leaves in the luminary shot, like you believe rappers in the mominality? Oh no, no, no, okay, so they watched my podcast. Okay, this is what this is. This is what I believe. I said on my podcast what I do with my dude without different countor I said, like, because they asked me if I think like rappers are part of the illuminati, I was like, Yo, that's not my place to place them there, but I'm saying if people are, if you are purposely throwing up signs talking ship that's affiliated that you know that is affiliated with this organization, then like I mean, come on, I'm like, what the fuck If you're purposely doing it? What then is everybody wants to think because I kind of know a blood sign and the crypt sign on a Loominity sign what some bro like, it's bro? Honestly, I don't know. This is what's crazy apparently so apparently like it's all this type of ship. But I never knew that we were indulged in. Bro, this is what's crazy. Heard that I'm not even supposed to be the good guys because if you look at our album covers and ship, if you look at our album curvers, they're always some mystic ship, always some crazy ship talking about both of Yeah, I never knew what this ship was that you was putting out No No, our first album, We get Deep and then the Thunder's coming Deep. We gotta watch out after this? Where you going it with you? Whatever you say, I believe it, let's go. We're taking the shot crazy phones never thought he want to go with it. I'm going with him. I'm going with him. Nothing. What I'm saying was like like we didn't really understand like all those like signs and you got to take it for they don't have to take it. Man from each thing together. Come on, he gotta work after this too. Yeah, we is too. We're gonna be DJ and ship. You know, come on. We didn't really understand like what all the sayings was if you look at my fucking tub mental of the album, but they had a nigger and this was none of mine. Then they was like, Yo, this ship looks good for the Bone who's saying this to you guys? And this looks good regular label. They're like, Yo, this ship is dope, and you like, come on, So I'm doing this ship not even knowing like what these horns mean, none of this ship. I'm like, Yo, this ship is look dopest it looked like the Bones Devil ship. It looks like Bone crazy ship. Yeah yeah yeah, I'm actually like it looks like Bones sounds. I'm like, oh goddamn, it sucked up. It's fun up when I'm actually look like Bones sound. So I'm down with it. Let's go, let's go take it. So like years later, i want my podcast doing the fucking shot about the little Manaty and I'm looking at the images. I'm like, wait a minute, It's like, yo, god, damnit, waiting these things done. I've been bamboos, what the fun is going on? Like Yo, I'm like something like what the fun is going on? Like all these ship matches with this and me and my NIGG was talking like yo, okay, I was tricked, y'all. Yeah, I'll keep you hunted. I didn't know when it was leading me. You think people are purposely putting symbols in your ship? Purposely? Because because I think people guy that twisted, like like, let's go, I believe we we rap about bro ain't nothing we we don't like, we can't. We can't wrap about ship we don't know about. It's it's impossible to us to go want to booth and rap about something we don't. I don't even have a passion to write about you. I don't know, right, So it's like I only write about ship I lived, I see our experience or no motherfucker's didn't went through it. So like when we did this song the Luigi Luigi Board, you've done Luigi board before? Hold on, hold on, I just want to ask um, you guys name the song called Uigi Board and then I don't continue and what happens after this? So look, we had a song called shipping right now manic watch American horror stories. It's my favorite. We're about to man. So we did a song called Weigi like we played with the Uigi board at one point like it was a video. No no, no, no no. This this even made it like we played with Duigi board. One time, Busy and Lazy came to my house. These yo, these things came to out and said, we gotta talk to you. I say, talk to me about what we got to talk to the boar no to do the way Lazy and Busy came to my house one day and say, yo, we need to talk. I say, okay, talk about what they're like. Yo, come upstairs and my my room was in the attic. My room was in the attic at my mama house. So we go up stage us and then put out of Weiji board. Me. I was raised as a job was witnessed. So I'm already knowing at the top, nigga, what is that? What did you do with that? And he didn't you know what I'm saying. I was trying to but being young the sixteen, I'm like, okay, come on, let's playing. Everybody told me not to do it. I want to know what they said. Don't do it as a kid. You know what I'm saying. I wonder why you say don't do it. So we started we'll get hooked on cocaine stories. There's the same sex, way different different thing, but okay, most people don't get it hit on and then they do it. Okay, imagine that Caine. I really didn't make a story. Yeah. So so they came to the house and they're like, you'll be able to show you something. I said, Okay, so I stay, this is crazy right now. Range So they're like attention, so they like to the atmosphere and so they started doing like the this is what I said, This is why the song starts off. Wheat y'are you wheat y'all? You with me? Because he was like, why are you with me? It was like, I feel like we should have a right listen. They're sitting here like they're sitting here like, and I'm looking like, who y'all talking to? You don't understand that you didn't know what it was? No, no, no to the other side. I knew the board, I knew of the boy, but I'm like, waiting, okay, now who you're talking to? Like, is there somebody in here with us, let me know. So they like talking and they're like yo, they're asking the questions and like Jamal, like your hand was all that your fingers and no no no, no, no no no, I'm looking at them to see if it's if they're moving them. I'm like, you think it's trying to trick me. I'm like, but you know what I'm saying, Like it was just crazy, bro Like, So we talk about everything we've experienced. We have some experiences with that. Wigi bo I don'tly ain't gonna talk about it because it's you talk about everything but the Weiji boy. Yeah, I'm not yeah, because I don't really like I'm totally against all that. I'm not like we've done that as young kids, as young stupid, young and dumb kids. Me as a man, now, I would never you know, I'm saying, I would never indulge in anything like that because I know when it brings to your life, you know what I'm saying. But like at that time, we was like, you know, like let's do it, and so we experienced with it. So we made the experience and people start talking about we was devil worshipers. I'm like, my dude, Like, I'm like, so when you talk about what you experience, like you you automatical label like the Mall and Mansons of hip hop, the original hardcore. Yeah, I'm like, bro, like we did. It's like you know, like this we just like we talked just like no, no, no, no, I mean we we funk with it, but it was like, Okay, this ain't for us. We figured out where to come from. We're cool, and it was just like, like like I said, it was just a time in our past, like something we went through, you know what I'm saying, Like just a phase we went through and it was like, okay, we're done with that. And we never even looked back to that ship. Nobody was like, let's go worship the devil like ever. But then they put it in your graphics. Oh yeah yeah no no, they did though, because they heard our lyrics and it was like yo, this is yo, and this is what I feel like. I feel like Bone was blackballed in the game because I felt like, I feel like they were going to use us, They were gonna use us for something, but when we didn't, when we didn't like that line, when they found out that we couldn't be trained or t aimed. Oh them nigga's dysfunction, though, we can't work with them. They on drugs? Who on drugs? Them? Like like what like yeah, like niggas use alcohol? What drugs you're talking about? Like, niggas ain't never used no drugs, not even my nigga Busy and he admitted his alcoholism. He's good now. But they're trying to make it seem like we was just like out here, just like, oh, these niggas out of hand and Nigga, no, we ain't. You're not going to control us. You're not gonna tell us how we need to sound or how we need to move. It's not going to happen. It's not gonna happen, man, It's it's got good. Shoutout to Organic foodcase. Yes, yeah, I just want to take a shot for crazy right now. I just want to take a shot. Man. He's gonna finish that bottom. We want you to listen at man. We know your style, bro. You went before me. It's the first time the first time I'm drinking beer. Man, it goes right through me. Yo, listen, Crazy Bone. I want you to know. Our show is about giving people their flowers. You are not only a legend, you're a super a legend. You know how they say this, it's food and it's super food like weak grass and super fool like the wheat grass rappers. You're a super fool nigg You know what I'm saying. I'll be back. Ah she got real. I gotta I gotta get my life together. Got you know I got notes? Who funked up my notes? You suck up my notes? Just Red Cafe makes your bread cafe out there, Red Cafe. Okay. You know what I don't want to talk about the home economics lazy bones is that is that I'm going too far. Now that's the beginning, right, Oh, this thing is at home economics. Wow, ain't done this research? I like this ship. Yeah dug deep dug deep home economics. Wow like your first song? Right, yes, no, that that's that's why. That's why I first met lazy was in home economics class. Oh my bad, that's what I mean. Yeah no no no, no bro bro no no no no bro bro bro bro. My research. Literally home economics class, seventh grade. It's where I met this nigger. Like we was like, you're not gonna make noise for me come on, come on, I'm a busy nigga. Homemakom. I don't know what it is, like what the home homemaking is the class that they teach you how to cooking ship like exactly, yeah to cooking. Okay, yeah you know it like so we're ha exactly skip you. I ain't cooking too much in that Montherfu either, And I ain't you know what I was into. I was in the science and Global studies for real, I wouldn't it ain' supposed to be. That's why I wanted to be there with a hoodie on like this, because I was into the ship like your nerve. I'm sorry. My favorite stuff was pe that's it. But yeah that's like Jim, Yeah yeah, Jim, that's it. They get into played the fun everything else. They shoot. God is coming from y'all Nia for this. Take it to the shot shot. I'm with it. I'm gonna take a little shot. Feel crazy, man, We love you crazy. You came to my homie studio right there, came to the studio. Goddamn, Okay, we wait were you wait from me? Dog? Do another mom home? Holy moly? After this, Oh this rain is crazy, said, let me just all right, I know I'm changing the subject a little bit. What was the subding before? We don't even know. Let's go, but Bone Dogs gotta be the most legendary group that reached every category like y'all's top, forty, top, rhythmic, top, every motherfucking thing. I met Janet Jackson before. Uh No. I actually I saw jennexasted for from it at an award show and I was saying, They're like, Yo, that's Michael Jackson's sister son what I'm saying. And I actually done a remix of one of her songs, but the ship never came out, and I don't know that she had you on no no, no, no no, that the producer of the song did. And I've never heard the ship again. So I'm like, and it was hypered, but They're like, Yo, this ship about to be crazy and I've never heard nothing else about it. How about m J Michael Jackson, yo, bro, Like honestly, like, that's the only artist. That's the only artist I say that I'm I want to I wanted to work with life because that's the inspired me to get into the to do music period. Michael Jackson was my inspiration. Any other thing among any other artists Hi, Pop R and B. Michael Jackson was to do that, like I was like generationally did that? He did that? Yeah, Yeah, it's a main question. You had the zipper jacket, Jackie, with the zippers. I couldn't afford it. I couldn't afford it. But if I wouldn't glove, I made my own for real, my own for real, you know what I'm saying, because I just to imitate the n everybody did. I said dancing, and Yo, my nigga, when I tell you, I used to dance like the nigga and I used to dance. I used to dance, I get around. I was nig I did and I used to mc hammer ship my nigga, keep it, keep one em. I was into the whole hip hop ship, the dancing, the wrapping everything. I just need to put you what you're saying. Did you have to pass? Yeah? Listen, listen. You went from Hammon to Michael mean over there, so I know you was in. You had to have a letter jacket and we had a leather jacket, Michael. I couldn't afford I wanted one, but Nick, my parents wouldn't have in Like what mean you can really get school closed. Nigger, you better be happy with dad. What about Prince? Oh, bro brot him though, huh, we've had some legendary princes. You ain't spoke this whole time. We're gonna get you call you got bro, you got chip in case you want joints. Okay, good, bring you back to the Eastern I got them, bring you back to the East nine. I made Prince one time. Wait a minute, you're going I gotta relax. Yeah, I don't know what you no, No, you're good, cafe. Tell us your Prince story, please please, I mean anyway, like nothing extra, like you know, I was flying into the Burbank Airport that's California. Yeah, it's just like years ago. Like and yo, so um came in. I m sat, went from my car to pull up and like people is in a frenzy like, yo, that's pret that's Prince. And I looked out. I said, yo, that's nick yo yo yo. This nigga, this nigg was like short in the mouth on me. So I'm like short and easy to the you know, like short, and the nigga had purple, No you don't white, And the nigga was like yeah, I don't say. He had on heels and he was still short platforms called mills like and then like like people like um, I walked into I was like, what's up, bro, like crazy bone for both us at home, and he was like, I heard about you. That's all you. That's all okay, cool, that's it, that's cool. That's cool. You know nigga and heard it about me. I'm cool with That's all I need to know. You heard about me for real, you know? So, I mean it was cool that hell yeah, I'm sorry. I got to get the shop for that. I'm sorry, come on, sorry, can't hear about us here? About frist ain't sunk with us? He had asked the chaps out right, let's just be clear what you say, asked the chaps. You know what is that? Asked? Listen chats. That's how Prince used to brawl. Come on, man, right now, to the top too. I'm going my ship to the top two true, yeah, crazy ball, it's the last album you bought, last album bault Yeah, and that wanted to listen to, man, okay, wait, that's out of my baul. I love you over there, and I wanted to listen to and you wanted to listen to mm hmm or downloaded, don't have to be fought. That's kind of outdated. Man, they're going to come back, come back with that. Ain't a lot of motherfuckers like that. Bro, what's the newest ship you're listening? No new dudes, I listened to I Folk with the Baby Tough. I think that shitty going through its bullshit right, Keep it one hunting, Keep it one hunting, Uh, little dirt. You know what I'm saying, Um, I folk with a little Wayne like t I ship, I'm messed with like a lot of dudes, Bro, you know what I'm saying, Like like I just like I like real hippo. I don't. I don't like dudes just sound like other people. So what happened with you all the mets? Because at some point it was like a bone dougs, I don't, I don't, I don't know, but like to keep it one hunting journalist, that's the show a little bit. That's that's that's the course thing you would have to ask, lazy Bone, because honestly, I'm gonna keep it one hunting, like I don't have I have no problem with nobody in the industry because like, but it wasn't a problem. It was a discripancy. And I feel like which I which I expressed the lazy bone, like just like bro because what was it? They said? The greatest, the great and I'm like, my nigga like and I'm like, this is what I'm saying, Like what rapper do you know? It doesn't need to the greatest group of all times in history. First of all, hip hop is a is a very arrogant form of music. Anyway. Hip hop has been in the very arrogant for in music from the jump, Like even with Sicker Hill Game, I'm the best, there's no rapper better than me, Like that's that's that's that's the gist of like hip hop songs like you always talking about nobody funk with you, I'm the best, can't nobody see me? That's part of hip hop. So like I feel like it's it's kind of hypocritical when we sit up and say, is that all you're gonna talk about is money and jury? When the niggas before, all y'all talked about was I'm the best, I'm the best, can nobody see me? This and that and then the other. You know, what I'm saying. So it's like, Um, it's just like, Bro, like, we just have to respect the culture, bro, because it's like hip hop with it. Hip Hop ain't never been like any other genre in music. It's not like that, so you can't compare us to any other genre. The only thing I would say about hip hop is I wish we would respect our legends and our pioneers and more. That's what we do. Look out for them, what we do way more than we do because that's the only way architects. She just wanted to continue. If we don't look out for the motherfucker's then started this ship like we didn't gonna happen to me? Like, that's what I'm saying, what's gonna happen to you if you don't take care of the ones before you? But Bro, like to me, like the word hip hop shouldn't even be spoke up without knowing who DJ hurt her. It shouldn't even be it shouldn't even be spoken you think of hip hop. The nigga's pictures should be blam, blam, these are niggas right here, like if history because how did how did it feel? When it felt like for one week it was a me goes against bone dugs. Then that week, that week, not not in general, but honestly, I'm gonna tell you, like this competition. I love it because don't think nobody can see Bob. I'm gonna keep one hunted. And that's one just scale on wrong. That's that's something. That's that's one just scale alone, bro, Like, because we study this, were students of the where people don't realize this, we're students of this. I understand. I understand hip hop. I talked to k RST one. I understand hip hop. I understand it to the fullest. Bro. I was a student. I knew these dudes before people in Cleveland even knew who these dudes were, right, Like, so I know who these dudes are, and I understand what hip hop is, and I understand. Go ahead, go ahead, go ahead without like you know, it's my frame. What happened was basically I think Migo said they was the greatest group of all times? Yes, indeed, busy? Was it? Busy? Lazy? Lazy? Relax? Yeah, I think it's just back and forth. Yeah, it's back and forth. And where were you at your mind? Frame? Like you you you not the group just you. My mind frame was like, funk that dumbship. My mind frame was like, nigga, who gives a funk with them? Nigga, that nigga. What I just told you, niggas is supposed to think they're the best. What what MC ever got into the bind is that you heard rapp and say, oh, it's such a stuff that I think I'm the best, I'm almost the best, I may be the best. It's like, nigga, I'm the best. They can't nobody funk with me period. It's like hip hop has always been arrogant. You have to you have to say the same thing, were the best exactly, that's part of that's part of the car and that's what they said. He said, no, no, nigga, we're not. But I'm like, my thing is like, we don't set the lesson dary status. Why even talk? Why even why even see that's true? Why even speak? What's understood don't need to be explained ever. And that's saying it's so real. That's what I was sitting back like, okay, okay, say that then, but if you step in the ring with me, unless it's a main event, you step in the ring with me, it's it's going to be a different outcome asking me and that question. Let me just be straight up now, I'm a different thing. I'm a journalist. Right now, I'm gonna ask against the meagles right now on versus persons. Yeah, it would be, and I think it. I mean, I think it'll be epic. I don't think it'll be negative. I think it be positive. I mean it would be. But but this is my thing and I'm gonna keep on hunting people. Would it be about actual skill and it won't be No, no, no, no, no, no no. I'm listening because just the only way we would accept it if it's about you, about actual skill, because I know what like, if it's if it's actually about skill and talent, because I know a lot of the niggas have got a lot of money for wrapping, right, but it's that actual talent, I'll keep it in one hunted Like, I don't like I'm I'm not trying to offend nobody, but what I'm saying it's bound too. I can't help that. But that would be for versus to decide in the sense the audience to the side. Yeah, yeah, yeah, definitely. But I'm like but I think y'all should. That would be dope if y'all did it, because it would be like, we're coming in this as hip hop to generate two different generations, and we're just gonna let the audience decide what they look. That's why we could never battle because we come from a different generation. Our morals and standards are different. We don't we don't. We don't get funk about money. Because you can't have all the money in the world. I'm still gonna suck you up. It's not money. That's why as an MC, how much money you put on the table, if you ain't got skilled, I'm gonna suck you up as an MC. Bottom line, bottom line, that's bottom line. Now. That's why I think it would be a dope versus I think the dope definitely be educational versus I'm in I don't know say, And it was a beautiful day right before we walk into the motherfucking that's a beautiful day. Right now, I got only molly walking on. I'm going to take another shot. What's good for you? Come on? Back's it's not backing now some way you're gonna say, relax, come on, we do that O good. No, lie, It's just this is how much we wouldn't realize and who the funk we were. We're on the plane first class, my nigga, Me and Wish on the plane. I'm sitting here like this. I said, who the fund is Maride carry anywhere? This nigga saying, I don't know. Some bitch yo, keeping one hunted like this is the tooth though, he said, I don't know something. I said, I heard this keeping hunted, keeping with hunting. My nig I got to you, I love you, I love you. But I say, nigger, I say, who then is this bit? My nigga? Straight up? I said, who this bit? Yo? Me and my niggas, me and my nigga, which we sat here and contemplated because we were so like we was hot boys in Cleveland. So we was kind of playing like do we really want to go to New York and leave all of this and like cleand like we're on fire in Cleveland. Nigga ain't a loving us do we want to go here? And like like, who the fuck it's Maria? No Bell carters like y'all on the plane. You can give a little bit. You're y'all on the plane. Yeah, we're on the plane. I say we should get off as my friend. He said what I said, talis going man, Yeah, we went to this slumfucker, took off on the plane. God. There they picked us up, went to the studio the same ship with Biggie. Yo. Mariah had this ship. Yo. She had to motherfucking weed on a silver platter. Yo. She had the weed and the hennessee my nigger on a silver on a silver platter. She was like set it out in this bits like oh ship we hey, Maray is a Jesus Yo, Bro, so so she played the song forward, We're going this motherfucker like to like Stevie J puffing the motherfucker me and their mother Like, oh bro, we went to motherfucker bro knocked that ship out. She was like, Yo, this is my single. This is my single because she went to Tommy Mantola from what I understand, and she was like, who is these dudes that's knocking me out? Motherfucker. Crazy Bone makes Yeah, so it's crazy Bone. You had. You had an arrow with Bone Dogs, that arrow with Dodgers Drever. Easy, have an arrow with fucking Big one Pack. Who was your most shocking and easy? Excuse me? What was your most shocking? Like when anyone who wanted to work with you, what was the most time the person says that I want to work with you and You're like, what the fun's going on? It ain't even hip hop. It's like nigga Phil Collins. You linked with Phil Collins, Phil bro we got colle no but bro man Collins. I just think of cocaine, cowboys Miami. So like Phil Collins was like so like I had a song like my father is. My father was a music for this. Nigga didn't sing what he could sing, you know, like my father could sing what he I don't know if he didn't know he could sing or nobody really told him. Pursue that. I understand everything you're saying, but that's what but that's what in me, That's where it comes from. That's where it comes from. So like bro like, it's like real bro like. It's like he like inspired me to like to do so much stuff like as far as the melodies wait, Phil Callers or your like my father played your father this music. My father played like so much music. My father used to play music and he would get up in the morning and sweet they cleaned the house like and he the poor boy, and I would wake up, yo yo, I would wake up. This is where we were waking up to like yo oh Jameson Yo this is like, I'm like, yo, this is like just a vibe. My father is who put me on the music. As far as the old school, my mom my mom was more into yo, my mom with hip hop ship. My mom used to but I wish she was loving to more d My mom loved Danna Dane like slick. Come on, mom, take a shot for moms. Mama, let's take a show with mama. We were hennessy yet let's do it right here, right here, right My mama got damned sorry, I'm sorry. I saw my mom looked at me like this thing is a jock my mama for real. So my mom was like she was like, yo, how funk with what she doing? My pops like, my papa was on some my pops tucker when I'm doing right now, my papas just call me right now. I'm just crazy. He just hit me, my papsucker, what I what's sucking with what I did? My mom My papas knew that I could be, like he knew my mom My pops knew my mom My pops like yo, something like you could be so much more. But I'm like, what's what's some more music? I'm like and I'm mind. What's more than music? There's nothing more than that. Like music is what it's what reaches people. Music is what that's what it is. I don't get nobody like music has always been to me, like music has always been like to me, it's too like explain it, but it's like ship you can't do you can do. That's what music symbolizes to me. Music is that place to where they say you can't do it, but you really can't. That's how I look at music. You know what I'm saying, I don't like, but but like it's the dog bone? How dog is sucking bone? Dog? Come on that one? Dog is buck bomb? Bro, come on with That was the weirdest transition ever heard him. Okay, so let me tell you how we met her nigger. So we had this song already done. The song we we was actually singing the part thugs ruggers weren't singing it. Dug ship it's the dugget rugg is bone, but it's the rugger is bone, so bron't sing it. Bro. So we we actually outside, Bro, we say okay, let's take this break. We take a smoop break and we go outside. We all sat smoking cigarettes and ship bro like smoking. We were like, so this female walked up. She liked, she liked we all sat the studio. She liked, what's this place right here? We're like, this is a studio? She like for real? We yeah, She's like, I can sing. It was like random like that though, bro, like she is random. She was like I can see. We said, okay, sing bro, because we this is how. This is how the chorus line to Tucking Shuker's Bones sounded before she sing it. It's the duck is bone, It's the duck strugg is bone, it's the That's what the chorus line was. And we told her, can you sing this? It's the duck is She was like, it's the dug right. We was like, my n We was like yeah. So we say, okay, wait a minute. We went it was at the studio. We're like, e come here, what's her name again? What's her name again? Just what so her name? So we don't get it, so we make sure, but let's just be clear when you say that's my home girl, easy apologize my homegirl shout flats Avenue. So when this motherfucker like she like like so, We're like, okay, so easy, like she come into studio easy like easy. Hear her spit. She like, we're like seeing this. She like, do we like easy, like record her right now? You know, he says. He says, I'm fucking genius. He said, record her right now. Yeah, fucking genius. N No love. We're here like okay. She like, yo, you're easy, like Yo, this is the single we like. And she came in off the streets, my nigga, off the streets, and we said, singing this. No, she had no recording history, no, no, bro. She put up on us, like what's this place here? He said, this is a recording studio and she was like really, She was like, look I seen. She was like listen, listen to this. She was like and she sang something for us and he was like, okay, singing this, We said, sing this is the Dugges hrugged is bone. She said, yo, broz the way she was saying it, we was like we all still there, like we said, yo, coming coming, haid Yo. It's so crazy, We said, coming that studio. Yo. We took her. He was like, and he said, because he real pie, He said, who is this bitch? Said? He said, listen, listen he said he listen, listen Yo. He said, okay, play the track Unique. Do you say Unique? Play the track? She was like, it's the Easy was like Easy was like, YO, record her right now. He said, record her right, I don't give record her now and he was like bam. She was like it's the yes, yes, But I was like, Yo, Easy was like this is the one Yo. A few weeks later, that ship was mixed and Easy called us like nigger, turn on the radio now that She was like, you know people's calling us like yo, Yo, it's I was like, nigga, are you serious? It was crazy like it was history after that, Done deal, Done deal? What shut out? Easy Man? He's a motherfucker genius, Yo, ge man, that's Yo Easy for real nigger. A lot of motherfucker's talk shit about like you know what I'm saying. Like, but if it wasn't for Easy to eat, a lot of ship we see today wouldn't have even happened period. That's why we funk with the right one day. We funk with the right one real talk. We'll talk. She's Louise Papa cheese. Yeah, oh, I just want to This is my ask questions, where do you place Bone Thugs enough last five groups? Ever, where do you place bone Thugs? I place Bone Thugs as the most influential group ever because if you think about it, because if you think about it, like like like people like you know, like emulate styles all the time all the time, Like bone Thugs in Harmony has been the most emulated style period. I don't even I don't care where you started from. Bone Thugs in Harmony is the most. Like I credit n w A as being the most dangerous as a group and hire hop because them niggas made y'all think different. N w A made you think different, like Nigga Funk. Were they telling you this is what it is. You think like this, That's why I fun with them. But bone Thus in Harmony we came in telling y'all like and we was. We were so hardcore with it. We came in telling y'all peace. We came in telling y'all peace loving harmony. But it was, but we were so hardcore with it. We understand that it's not always peace, love and harmony. You have to ride for that. You have to ride for peace, love and harmony, like it ain't nothing that's given to you. Like me and my niggas. We've been through so much. People think we don't like each other. People think bones like this, Bone is my nigger. That's the one that actually started the drama between y'all at one point, busy bonus my nigger, lazy bonus my nigga flesh and bonus my nigga. Wish Bone is my nigga. I don't care take your family family, I don't care about some nigger really talk my nigger. Let's take shots, man. Let's take shots man, because you know what we need to hear. That that that that at harmony. You don't got no motherfucking be it ain't my nigga, no matter, come on, no matter, no matter how they try to make us, look how they try to say, we together, my nigger, we always have an understanding amongst each other. I love that fun. This business. Them niggas like them niggas only see what they see from bone. Me and my niggas is brothers like and we're gonna die brothers, crazy, crazy, lazy, busy wishing fun. We're gonna die brothers. I don't give fun. If y'all catch us on our first day, if y'all catch us on our worst day, y'all just catching me beefing with my brother. Enjoy that. Enjoy it because me and my niggas, we know what we stand and I would never sell none of my niggas out for none of his music. Ship, and we all feel like that, we would never like y'all, y'all followers, y'all know where we go through. Y'all know me and my niggas, we go through ship. But this ship ain't this. It ain't never above me and my nigga. Ever, it's bumped up till we die, and y'all will see that. And you know what, on y'all worst day, y'all legends, that's it real talk, that's all it is. And I yo, brog because listen, listen. I just want you to know something. Come on home and Red Cafe is here too, but I want you to know something. This is your platform. That's the same ship they say, Bro, my nigga, like they're making money. It has to be cooking nowhere. It don't just because we don't agree with the way y'all make money. Nigga, Like what my nigga, No, it don't real talk like that's really That's how I feel about this ship. The funk out of here with that ship nigga, Like, you know what I'm saying. We can all make money. We don't have to be on the same page. Money ain't never Money ain't never said I'm black. Money has never said I'm black, I'm white, I'm Mexican, Like, money has never said that. Money has never said that, So why said we said never? Never? Like it's like, on top of that, I funk with everybody, Like, Nigga, if you knew my family I have, my family is so fucking diverted. I have white people, I am Jamaicans, I have my nick My family is diverse, you would be like, nigga for real. That's why I can't. It's impossible for me to be presidice because all these people my people in mind. Then I'm like, like, how how can you There's no race on earth and it's pure. There is no race on earth that is pure. How can you be like that when there's no race that's pure. How can you be like, Oh, Nigga, I'm better than you. Nigga, where you come from? They can't even explain where they come from. They can't Nigga, where you come from? I don't know? Then shut the funk up. Real talk like we cannot have an argument unless we actually know where we come from. Where you come from, I don't know.
