We tell business stories through the lens of our life stories and we start with the people who are down the road from where I live, which is a small coastal town 3 hours north of Sydney, Australia called Forster. If you haven’t been here, it is one of the most beautiful places on the planet.

Some of these people are only a little way down the road on their business journeys, others close to the end. What I have found though in talking to each of them is that I walk away not only enjoying their story but reflecting on my own life and work in the light of their reflections.

Have I really chosen a career I love?
How influential has my family been on my decisions?
Do I celebrate success at work well?
Would I be willing to take a risk like that?
