If you're still hanging around on X/Twitter, you might have noticed a number of tech luminaries putting 'e/acc' in their screen name. That stands for 'effective accelerationism', and it's the new weird social movement among parts of the industry.

Put simply, it means progress at all costs. The loose grouping things that any efforts to slow down or censor technological development – including AI – should be fought intensely. In this ep, we talk e/acc and its weird little influence on the scene.
