Tommy John, the long-time Dodger, and namesake of the revolutionary, career-saving elbow surgery, has died at the age of 83. 

Maybe you know the name Tommy John, but you don't know much about him. In this episode, we take a look at John's long, excellent career, and the then-experimental surgery, performed on John in 1974 by Dr. Frank Jobe, that now carries name.
