DMV Spotlight shines a light on the ongoing festivities for America's 250th celebration. Guest Audrey Wood , Virginia History Affiliate Coordinator at the Virginia Museum of History and Culture's efforts to spear head the Virginia 250 Passport program to encourage residents and visitors alike to spend time at historic sites around the Commonwealth. Wood highlighted several Northern Virginia, including Gadsby's Tavern in Alexandria, the National Marine Corp Museum and Mount Vernon. Wood also discussed the educational offerings by the museum and the renewed interest in the nation's history stirred by America 250.
