DMV Spotlight shines a light on Sept 7, 2025 on the 2nd Annual Community Volunteer Fair where dozens of non-profits who need volunteers will be matched with those who wish to serve. Guest, Amy Barker, coordinator for the Fair and the Director of JustServe of Alexandria says a plethora of local charity organizations will be there as well as schools and libraries that need a hand.

The Fair will be held Saturday, September 13th , 2025 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on King Street in Alexandria and is free and open to the public from 2 to 4pm. Barker also mentions this can bee a good opportunities for students who need service hours to connect in the Alexandria community.
