Before he was Hollywood royalty, Rob Lowe was a Dayton kid who relished trips to Columbus to take in some Ohio State Buckeye football.
In an April interview with the Dispatch, Lowe discussed his humble Ohio roots, as well as his one-man touring show “Stories I Only Tell My Friends.” Based on two of his memoirs, the show features the 55-year-old actor reflecting on his personal life and his many iconic roles in film and television.
Lowe has since canceled his May 31 Columbus date due to a scheduling conflict, but fans can still see him perform in three other Ohio cities: 7:30 p.m. May 30 at the Connor Palace in Cleveland; 8 p.m. June 1 at the Aronoff Center in Cincinnati; and 4 p.m. June 2 at the Schuster Center in Dayton.
