Three long years after it was announced, its official the Friday in the thirteenth, prequel series spin off Crystal Lake is in production. It'll mark the first ever TV show based on the genre in finding slasher movie franchise, and the first time cameras have rolled on anything in the universe since two thousand and nine. Reboot Lila is known about casting, but Linda Cardellini is playing Missus Vorhees, the mom of Jason aka the guy in the Hockey Master, terrorizing summer campers. But this takes place years before, with Jason being either a kid or a young teenager. When Missus Vorhees has to decide to pursue a singing career or care for her son, it's a safe bet she fails at both.
