Well, the commentary has been less than flattering. Eyes I still will. I was sort of thinking about it because there's going to be a new Football Performance Boss, so Laura Kane's job sounds like it's being hard. The new boss will be responsible for MRO umpiring, game analysis, play up, movement, laws of the game, innovation. Now what's left. I'm not sure the way I would describe it to you guys is it's like we're going to replace you. The new person's going to host, they're going to comment, they're going to panel, they're going to pop on Channel seven now and again, and we're still going to be on the live stream sitting in the corner. It's bizarre. It's bizarre, isn't it. I mean it, then says, you know, footy ops, Laura Kane will be responsible for if l A f l W vfl bfl W. They're just heading, They're just heading. They're not actual roles if you know of me. So it feels like they just haven't been able to say we've got it wrong, We've got it wrong. And you know is do been sales all my life just to employ people. And I used to sit people in interviews and say to them, now, grilling you. And the reason I'm grilling you is because if I put you in this position and you fail, that is not on you. That is on me, because I've got to get this right. So I'm grilling you because if I know that you can do the job through the interview process, then that means I've done my due diligence to make sure you can do the role. I'm not putting you in there just for the sake of you being a good person.

Well, they're the boss. It's as simple as that, David. When you are the head of it, it's like saying the coach always get the blank because they're the boss and it's got to go somewhere. So again, if your people aren't doing the right thing, or it's not coming up the chain correctly, or it's not going back down the chain correctly, who takes responsibility? Yeah?

As an s ANFL legend, how do you feel about the mid season perceieving of players? You look at the glenelg back line now on what's happened to them thanks to the mid season drafted. I know it's a great opportunity for a lot of young blakes to shift across to the AFL, but it can really not clubs for six, can't it.

Yeah? Look, I spoke to the coach, Dan Reeves, know him well through the state program and he's a terrific bloke. And believe me, he made an incredible fuss about the two lads from his club getting mid season drafted. But he did say, we've just got to deal with what is he is. But he said, I'm not sure I've got two hundred centimeter key defenders in my stocks. And I said, like, come on, Reba, you've got five or six that light of me, Come on, what's going on there? You have a factory And yeah, after we had the laugh, it is. It's really tough on SNFL clubs and WA clubs and all that get raided. The VFL is sort of set up for that. I think our competition and WA are really quite independent, quite strong, and it is a tough one for me. I love the fact that these lads get it and you can see the joy on their faces and their family. But I think as a competition that I'd prefer to see there as a mid season trade, not a mid season draft, and allow these boys to finish their season then get picked up. Yeah.
