Police are investigating a serious crash at Elizabeth East this morning.

About 4.45am on Tuesday 14 January, police were called to Kinkaid Road after reports a person was struck by a car.

The vehicle allegedly left the scene prior to police arrival.

Major Crash Officers are currently at the scene investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Kinkaid Road is closed between Fuller Crescent and Martin Road.
