The Tampa Bay Lightning return home tonight looking to make franchise history as they host the Detroit Red Wings in their first Atlantic Division matchup of the season. On today's Daily Strike, Steve Versnick previews a crucial divisional showdown and breaks down the biggest storylines surrounding the Bolts.

One of the biggest topics this week has been the future of Nikita Kucherov. After reports surfaced regarding a potential trade request, Kucherov addressed the media following Monday's practice for the first time, making it clear that his focus remains on winning hockey games for the Lightning.

The Lightning could also receive a major boost tonight with captain Victor Hedman returning after missing the game in Nashville. Meanwhile, Zemgus Girgensons has been ruled out once again but could return during the upcoming road trip.

Tampa Bay enters the night with a chance to start 7-0 at home, which would mark the best home start in franchise history. The Bolts went 3-0-1 against Detroit last season and will be looking to continue that success against a familiar Atlantic Division rival.
