The Tampa Bay Lightning are back in action tonight after their longest break of the season outside of the All-Star break as they host the Winnipeg Jets at Benchmark International Arena. On today's Daily Strike, Steve Versnick gets you ready for Halloween Night hockey and breaks down the latest news from around the team.

The Lightning enter the night looking to tie the franchise record for the longest home winning streak to start a season. A victory would give the Bolts six straight wins on home ice to open the year, matching marks set by the 2017-18 and 2020-21 teams.

Hear from Head Coach Jon Cooper on how the team has managed a rare five-day break between games and why the layoff could be beneficial as Tampa Bay gears up for a busy stretch of the schedule.

The Lightning power play has also turned a corner after a slow start to the season, scoring in four consecutive games. Cooper discusses what's been working and how the unit has regained its confidence.
