The Tampa Bay Lightning are back on the ice today after two days away from the rink, but the biggest story this week happened off the ice. On today's Daily Strike, Steve Versnick recaps another successful edition of Coop's Catch for Kids, as Head Coach Jon Cooper hosted the ninth annual charity event benefiting pediatric cancer research. This year's event raised an incredible $500,000, bringing the total raised since 2016 to more than $2 million.

Hear from Jon Cooper and Brandon Hagel as they discuss the impact of the event and the importance of supporting families affected by pediatric cancer.

Following the event, several Lightning players headed to St. Petersburg to take in World Series Game 3, where the Tampa Bay Rays fell 10-1 and now face elimination.

The Lightning now turn their focus back to hockey as preparations begin for Thursday night's Halloween matchup against the Winnipeg Jets at Benchmark International Arena.
