In 2017, an experienced detective was found dead on a remote farm in Florida. Despite years of working as a police officer and private investigator, she couldn’t see the danger that lurked right beside her. The case had a huge impact on the country, mainly because all the suspects were people deeply close to her.

Her ex-husband, new girlfriend, coworkers and even some friends. For the police, everyone had at least a motive to commit such an atrocity, however, the case is even more shocking because it shows what people are capable of doing for money. Only one of these suited suspects carried out the crime and the police did a practically exemplary job in managing to identify the person responsible.
