The New Orleans district attorney has agreed to re-examine the case of Jessica Easterly Durning, a woman found deceased less than a mile from her home.  Jessica was reported missing on August 14, 2019, after her husband, Justin Durning Jr., contacted one of her friends and claimed he couldn’t find his wife.  Durning also claimed that Jessica left her cellphone, money, and keys behind at their home.

Woman Goes Missing, Body Found, Revealing Photos Surface?

It's been close to three months since the death of high school cheerleader Anna Kepner, who also excelled in her academics.

Anna was found strangled and stuffed under a bed on a Carnival Cruise, and still no arrests have been made. Custody court battle documents between Shauntel Hudson and ex-husband, Thomas Hudson, point to their son, Anna’s stepbrother, as a suspect, but he still lives with relatives in an undisclosed location.

Just days before the teen's gruesome murder, footage captured on board the cruise ship shows Anna happy and enjoying line dancing with her grandparents. 

Nick Giddens, a passenger on the ship, learns about the murder after returning home, and while looking through all his videos, he spots Anna dancing on the cruise ship five days before she was killed. While looking through all his videos, he spots Anna dancing on the cruise ship 5 days before she was killed.

The heartbreaking video captures a high-spirited teen gleefully participating in the Carnival Horizon Sail Away Party. 

Texts submitted as evidence in the custody battle over Shauntel and Thomas Hudson’s youngest daughter reveal the family’s attempt at “damage control” in the hours after they’re told their son is a suspect in his stepsister’s murder.

In a shocking moment in the investigation, while Monique and Spencer are out of town at the Big 10 Championship game on December 6, McKee is captured on video entering the "curtilage" of the Tepe home.

"Curtilage" is the property immediately surrounding a home and is considered an extension of the dwelling for Fourth Amendment purposes.

In the second half of the championship game, Monique excuses herself and returns to the hotel room. This is at the same time McKee is at the Tepe home. Asked "why" she left the game, Spencer tells friends Monique is upset about something involving her ex-husband.

During the time of the homicides, McKee's phone is left at St. Anthony Hospital in Rockford and shows no activity for about 17 hours from December 29 until after noon on December 30.

Friends and family tell investigators how Monique's ex-husband McKee had been abusive and made numerous threats on her life during and after their marriage.

Friends and family also tell investigators that McKee would force Monique into unwanted sex and strangulation. McKee tells Monique he can kill her any time he wants; he will buy the house right next door to her, and she is always going to be his wife.
