In South Carolina, parents John and Geordyn Hayes were arrested after their nonverbal autistic 5-year-old daughter Saylor was found drowned following the intentional removal of her tracking transponder. In Texas, 63-year-old Ronny Medford has been indicted for murder after his 84-year-old father was found dead inside a burn barrel on his property. Sydney Silvagni reports.

Pennsylvania Police Officer Charged  in Fatal Shooting of Unarmed College Student | Crime Alert 09.04.26

After six days of deliberating, the Lindsay Clancy jury remains deadlocked.   After lunch on Thursday, the jury submitted a question,  but the judge did not read it aloud. He did reiterate the legal definition of reasonable doubt, sending jurors back to deliberate.

Defense attorney Kevin Reddington told the court one juror “refuses to listen to the law” and moved to remove that juror. Judge  William  Sullivan declined.
