The search for Nikki Wilhoite begins after a friend calls police when Wilhoite didn't show up for work.  A Boone County deputy conducts a welfare check at the Lebanon farm owned by Wilhoite and her husband. Andrew Wilhoite says he last saw his wife around 11pm the night before, sleeping on their couch. He says the couple had a fight. Wilhoite says that sometimes his wife leaves the house when the couple argues, but she usually returns the next morning. As police search the farm, they find Nikki’s purse inside a car parked in the garage. Caleb Flynn, an American Idol wanna be learns his fate today. He was arrested tried for allegedly murdering his wife, Ashley Flynn earlier this year. Prosecutors say he fatally shot her in their home, then staged the scene to look like a home invasion. His two children were home at the time. 

Ashley Flynn, 37, was shot twice in the head.   Caleb called 911 claiming an intruder had broken in. He told police the console of his truck was open and the gun kept there was missing.  Prosecutors detailed an affair Caleb had be in for the last 18 months. He met Alleigha Botner when she was an intern at  Caleb's church. Prosecutors presented over 100,000 text messages between Caleb and his mistress, which included hatred toward Ashley and wishes for her death.    Today a jury finds Caleb Flynn guilty on all counts.

Two University of Mississippi students found dead in separate location, but both have kratom nearby.  Kratom is a tropical evergreen tree, native to Southeast Asia.  It's extract act as a psychoactive substanced. It's effects depending on the dose: at low doses it can act as a stimulant, and at higher doses it can act as a sedative. 

 As it it is not conclusion that kratom was a contributing factor in their deaths, but the investigation continues.  The students were identified as Aidan Hamilton, a freshman from Englewood, Colorado, and Robert Strang, a junior from Atlanta.
