When a man suddenly collapsed in the parking lot of a Benton Harbor Meijer, Molly’s years of nursing and ICU experience kicked in. With help from Jess, Meijer employees, bystanders and first responders, CPR was started, an AED was used and the man’s pulse was restored before he was transported by EMS.

Molly and Jess share what it was like responding to an emergency outside the hospital, the importance of staying calm and working together, and why everyone can benefit from learning basic CPR and becoming familiar with how to use an AED.
