Pirates manager Derek Shelton joined the show. Starkey second guessed Shelton putting Andrew McCutchen leadoff yesterday... and Cutch had three hits. The Pirates did things yesterday they got away from during the past two weeks like moving over runners and not making mistakes. Shelton is going to look at the process of pre-determined innings caps and if someone should stay in the game longer if they're dominating like Jared Jones. It's a challenge with arm injuries in the game today and bad for frontline pitchers being hurt. They have to figure it out so pitchers in the heart of their career don't have terrible injuries. Aroldis Chapman needs to slow down a bit and is losing his arm angle. He needs to move down the mound more directionally.
