The Origin Story

View descriptionShare

How did a Black Lives Matter activist and a police officer become friends? How do they maintain their friendship while having difficult conversations? What motivated them start a podcast? Elliott and Tanisha share how they were paired in a production called Project Empathy. Each had to pen a story of significance in their life and share the other’s story to an audience. Through that process of working together and listening to each other, true empathy took root. They share their Project Empathy journey as well as their hopes for the conversation in this episode.
