After a detour to DRC and France, we'll hear music with Indonesian connections, dangdut and psych-pop, plus gamelan instruments, both real and synthesised using traditional tuning systems. Later, connections to the Indian subcontinent, lovely cross-cultural jazz from Alex Pertout and gentle Irish fiddle.
