12 July 2026 - #771 Aotearoa, more for NAIDOC week, jazzy tunes

The gentle complex polyrhythmic music of the BaBenzele/Aka pygmies weaves through a long set of several pieces that are clearly influenced by it. From Melbourne there's a lovely new album of tabla and Indian slide guitar for music inspired by the Ganges. Later, some 'folktronica' and the new album by the Kronos Quartet.
