Campaigners against development on ecologically sensitive land at Brunswick Heads in the Byron Shire have been largely buoyed by court outcomes for protestors charged as part of a large rally last month.
Protestors are still on-site at Bayside’s proposed Wallum Estate, four months after setting up with ‘human possums’ in the trees. But the federal environment minister has stated there are ‘no provisions’ under the law for her to intervene. So what next?
