12:00 pm - Community Newsroom

On this week’s Community Newsroom, we head to Brunswick Heads for the latest on the Save Wallum campaign as the community gathers ahead of an anticipated Federal Court decision.

We also explore the life and legacy of acclaimed Swedish filmmaker Bo Widerberg as the Nordic Film Festival arrives in Byron Bay and look ahead to what’s in store at this year’s Byron Writers Festival.

We hear how social prescribing could help tackle loneliness and social isolation and we’re joined live in the studio to talk about AIRWAVES 2026, BayFM’s community fundraiser bringing local music to the Byron Bowlo.
