Organiser with the Bob Brown Foundation Valerie Thompson, provides insight into the nationwide March in March for Forests protests held across Australia on 22nd March 2026.

Thompson explains the current state of Australia’s rainforests, focusing on the impacts of ongoing logging on the environment and native wildlife habitats.

We touch on the importance of protecting these ecosystems and the growing public support for stronger conservation efforts. She also outlines the need for further action, including better protections and clearer regulations, to ensure the long-term preservation of Australia’s rainforests.
