We continue to explore the controversy over the community fight to save ecologically sensitive land in Brunswick Heads today, with not one, not two but three guests in the studio one after the other to share their views: ecologist James Barrie from the Save Wallum campaign; Byron Shire Councillor Cate Coorey; and Clarence Property director Simon Kennedy.
We focus mostly on the ecological concerns as they relate to the recent Byron mayoral minute on the matter.
It’s more than the developer appears technically obliged to do but is it enough to satisfy environmental concerns underpinning the Save Wallum movement?
We also take a trip to Lismore to discover a new indoor play option for children and aduls in the form of a Lego café and we hear about what appears to be Australia’s oldest pottery.
