Gold miners found some relief after yesterday’s heavy losses, with Regis Resources up 5%, while Fortescue gained 2.4% after posting record iron ore shipments. Super Retail Group slipped despite higher sales, and ASX shares eased after its AGM. Tonight, investors will be watching US jobs data and corporate results from Intel and Ford, before RBA Governor Michele Bullock speaks in Sydney tomorrow.
